Chapter 29: Goku Vs Orochimaru II

Son Goku.

Orochimaru.

BOOM BOOOM KABLAMMM!

The forest around them shuddered with the intensity of their clash. Trees were uprooted, rocks shattered, and the very ground itself seemed to groan under the strain of their battle. The air crackled with energy as the two fighters exchanged blows...

Each strike resonating like thunder.

THOOOOOOM!

The forest echoed as Goku and Orochimaru engaged in a ferocious taijutsu battle. Entire mountain ranges crumbled under the immense force of their strikes. The air was racked with high levels of energy, and the environment around them was torn apart by their raw power.

Goku's heart raced with exhilaration. Each punch, kick, and dodge was a testament to his relentless training.

In contrast, Orochimaru's sinister grin twisted with frustration and anger as he found himself unable to overpower the young Saiyan.

"Your power is remarkable Goku," Orochimaru hissed, his voice dripping with venom. "But I will not be bested by a child twice!"

Goku's eyes blazed with determination. "Talk is cheap if you can't back it up!"

They launched at each other with renewed vigor.

CRACKOOOOOOM!

Their fists and feet collided with bone-shattering force, leveling entire mountain ranges and creating massive ravines. Ki blasts carved trenches in the ground, forming new rivers from the destruction.

Orochimaru struck first, his fist connecting with Goku's midsection. The Saiyan gasped, the air knocked out of him, but he countered immediately with a powerful uppercut that sent Orochimaru skidding back.

"Take this!" Goku shouted, delivering a roundhouse kick that Orochimaru barely managed to block.

Orochimaru retaliated with a flurry of kicks, his movements a blur. "You're fast, but not fast enough!"

He landed a solid hit on Goku's jaw, but Goku roared back, his own punch to the side of his cranium sending Orochimaru careening into a cliffside at ridiculous speeds.

The cliff crumbled, rocks tumbling down as Orochimaru emerged, his eyes blazing with fury.

"I will crush you!" He lunged at Goku, their fists colliding mid-air once more.

Goku grinned, the thrill of the fight evident in his eyes. "Bring it on!"

He dodged and weaved through Orochimaru's attacks, his movements fluid and precise. For every hit Orochimaru landed, Goku struck back twice as hard, his joy and exhilaration fueling his strength. Their battle escalated, the damage to their surroundings increasing as they picked up speed.

ZIIIP TSSSSK ZIPPPP!

The tremors from Goku and Orochimaru's battle rippled through the world around them, a reminder of the dire stakes.

That being said, Sasuke and Hinata faced their own formidable foes in the clearing. Kimimaro and Jugo stood before them, their bodies already transformed by the curse seal, emanating an aura of pure malevolence. The oppressive atmosphere was thick with tension, every breath drawn heavy with the promise of violence.

Sasuke's Sharingan eyes met Kimimaro's cold, calculating gaze.

Hinata's Byakugan flared to life, veins around her eyes bulging as she scanned their opponents. The sheer intensity of her chakra made the air around her crackle. "Stay focused, Sasuke-kun. These two are no ordinary enemies."

The Uchiha nodded, responding curtly. "Hn."

Kimimaro's voice was calm, almost detached. "Neither of you will be leaving alive. Orochimaru-sama wants your eyes and your body, and his will must be done."

Jugo's eyes were wild, a barely contained storm of rage. His curse seal had altered his form, making him a beast of raw power and fury.

"Let's end this quickly! I can't control it much longer!"

With a sudden burst of speed, Kimimaro lunged at Sasuke, bones protruding from his body like deadly blades. "Tsubaki no Mai!" he called, his attacks a deadly dance of bone and flesh.

Sasuke countered with a series of precise strikes, his Sharingan predicting Kimimaro's every move. Using his limited precognition, the Uchiha leaped back to gain space, running through his signature hand-signs.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" Sasuke expelled a massive fireball from his mouth, forcing Kimimaro to leap back and regroup.

At the same time, Jugo charged at Hinata, his fists slamming into the ground with earth-shaking force.

"Kongōriki!" His monstrous strength sent shockwaves through the clearing.

Hinata evaded gracefully, her movements fluid and precise. Deciding that she rather conserve her energy by attacking from a distance than attacking him head on, she hopped off her left foot in a backward manner, creating separation. She then gathered her signature blue chakra into her palms.

"Hakke Kūshō!" Her chakra-infused hands glowed with energy as she struck Jugo's vital points, each hit disrupting his chakra flow.

Meanwhile, Kimimaro quickly recovered from the flames, his bones retracting only to extend again with terrifying speed. "Yanagi no Mai!" He launched another series of bone attacks at Sasuke, each one aiming to pierce and shred.

Sasuke leaped back, his Sharingan analyzing Kimimaro's technique.

"Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu!" He unleashed a barrage of smaller fireballs, aiming to keep Kimimaro on the defensive and at a distance. Due to the potency behind the flames granted by training in the Gravity Room, the Otsutsuki clan member had no choice but to respect them for their legitimacy.

"RAAAH!" Jugo's rage intensified as he continued his relentless assault on Hinata.

"You can't run forever!" he bellowed, his fists creating craters in the ground. "Fight like me like a man!"

Hinata's resolve was unshakable. "I intend to." She countered with another powerful palm strike, packing more juice behind it this time. "Hakke Kūshō!"

The blast of compressed air sent Jugo staggering back, but his resilience was formidable. Being pressed into a corner and in a manner of speaking on their back foots, Kimimaro and Jugo regrouped, their eyes gleaming with deadly intent.

"You both are strong," Kimimaro admitted. "But we are stronger."

Jugo nodded, his rage simmering just below the surface but somewhat back under control. "Let's switch."

Hinata and Sasuke shared a glance, slipping into their taijutsu stances. They were ready for whatever.

In what could be summed up as the very next instant, Jugo lunged at Sasuke, while Kimimaro turned his attention to Hinata.

The battlefield shifted, each fighter adapting to their new opponent.

Sasuke met Jugo's charge head-on, his kunai clashing against Jugo's monstrous strength. The latter's rage-fueled strength seemed to grow with each passing moment, as a torrid streak of lateral movement and collisions took place.

BANGGGG!

"You can't stop me!" he roared, his fists colliding with Sasuke's defenses. The Uchiha's eyes narrowed, finding himself able to hold his own physically due to the intensity of his training with Naruto and to a lesser extent Sakura.

As well as Haku's welcoming touch, potentially the biggest determinant factor in his growth.

Hinata faced Kimimaro with unflinching resolve. "Hakke Rokujūyon Shō!" She struck with blinding speed, hitting Kimimaro's tenketsu points in an attempt to seal his chakra.

Kimimaro gritted his teeth, his bones absorbing most of the impact.

Even for him however, Hinata's attacks hurt like hell.

"Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru!" He extended a whip-like bone, attempting to entangle Hinata in his attack.

Hinata spun gracefully, her chakra creating a protective barrier. "Hakkeshō Kaiten!"

Back in Konoha, Neji's depression only increased. He didn't know why, but he felt the uselessness of Tenten creeping into his own system. With Hinata effectively stripping him of the title of most prodigious Hyuga and then widening the gap with each chapter, what was he good for any longer? Was this his fate the whole time? Damn, what a shame.

In real time, the beautiful rotation deflected Kimimaro's attack, sending shards of bone flying.

Sasuke and Jugo clashed ever more fiercely, their attacks creating shockwaves throughout the fighting area.

"Maybe in another timeline we'd make good teammates," Sasuke admitted, his three tomoe Sharingan spinning and glowing red as he continued to predict Jugo's next move. "But not in this one. You're going to die, here and now."

Jugo's rage grew even more. "Shut up! Shut the fuck up!"

The battle continued to rage, each side pushing their limits. In an interesting display of strength on strength, weakness on weakness, and strength on weakness, the two battles contrasting styles made for a beautiful spectacle. Sasuke and Hinata switched opponents time and time again, their seamless coordination a testament to their teamwork.

The Uchiha faced Kimimaro once more, his Sharingan analyzing every movement. He couldn't help but open his mouth and relay a comment. "You rely too much on your bones."

Kimimaro's eyes narrowed. "And you rely too much on your eyes." He lunged forward with a deadly thrust. "Sawarabi no Mai!"

Sasuke leaped into the air, avoiding the forest of bone spikes that erupted from the ground. Running a through a different set of seals, the Uchiha made the final signal, electricity dousing his fingers.

"Hachidori no Mure no Jutsu!" He sent a volley of electric hummingbirds raining down on Kimimaro, forcing him to defend. Lightning was the best counter to earth, and bones were made from dust according to creationism. Therefore, the servant of Orochimaru had no other option than to avoid as best he could.

Goku launched a series of rapid punches, each one aimed to break through Orochimaru's defenses. The snake Sannin found it harder and harder to maintain his guard, cursing under his breath.

"How did you get to this level, boy?" He just had to ask, grunting amidst the pressure. "Who trained you?"

"Kame style Taijutsu!" Goku answered, his fists glowing with light metallic blue ki.

Orochimaru snarled, his hands transforming into serpentine whips. "Hebi Henge no Jutsu!"

The snake-like appendages struck at Goku, but he dodged and countered with a powerful ki-infused punch that utterly shattered the ground beneath them.

"You're persistent," Orochimaru sneered, retracting his now crippled serpent-like limbs. "But persistence won't save you!"

"We'll see about that," Goku replied, his voice steady as he launched himself at Orochimaru.

The landscape around them transformed into a war zone, ravines deepening and new rivers beginning to form a network from their devastating attacks. Goku and Orochimaru dodged, weaved, and countered each other seamlessly, their movements a blur of speed and power. Goku's heart pounded in his chest as he exchanged blows with Orochimaru. Each punch and kick pushed him to his limits, but the thrill of the fight spurred him on.

Orochimaru's frustration grew with each passing moment. Despite his efforts, he could not overpower Goku. His blood boiled at his lack of superiority, and he lashed out with renewed fury.

"You will bow before my power!"

"Not a chance!"

Goku launched a powerful uppercut, his fist connecting with Orochimaru's jaw. Seeing a window of opportunity for a vicious combo, the Saiyan flips backwards and swings back up, etching both of this blue boots into his opponent's torso, jettisoning him through the clouds.

DOOOOOSH!

The force of the blow created a sonic boom that echoed across the landscape.

As Orochimaru disappeared into the sky, Goku gave chase, his aura blazing with blue ki. His animalistic rage, packaged as passion for intense combat, was beginning to seep in to his attitude.

"C'mon Orochimaru!" he shouted, determination etched on his face as he soared after his opponent. "Where's all that bravado at?!"

The battle then raged on, high above the clouds.

Orochimaru's serpentine form twisted and turned, his movements fluid and unpredictable.

Goku matched him blow for blow, their clash sending shockwaves that parted the clouds and rocked the mountains below.

"Are you getting tired now?" Goku taunted, his fists glowing with energy. "I'm just getting warmed up bastard!"

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed, his voice a low growl. "You fool. You think you can mock me and live to tell about it?!"

Goku surged forward, his punches and kicks a blur. Each strike sent Orochimaru reeling, but the snake-like shinobi found the fury within himself to respond with equal ferocity.

'Finally,' Goku mused to himself, inwardly grinning. 'He's pulling out all the stops.'

ZIIIIIP ZIPPP TSSK SKRRT!

They moved at a speed surpassing lightning.

"Fight me like you mean it!" Goku shouted, dodging a barrage of serpentine strikes and countering with a powerful ki blast.

The sannin with his agility was able to avoid it, but he couldn't dodge the follow through...

POOOOWWW!

The Saiyan plastered his opponent with a riveting overhand strike to the Sannin's cheekbone, rocketing him through the rugged terrain that they had created once more, kicking up an alarming amount of dust and debris.

Floating above the dust cloud, Goku awaited with his anticipation. He hoped this wasn't all his opponent could do.

Surely Orochimaru had something up his sleeve that could make the fight interesting.

Right?

Orochimaru emerged from the rubble, his eyes blazing with fury. "You'll pay for that!"

Goku grinned, his heart still pounding with exhilaration. "That's right! Make me pay!"

The battle intensified even further, their movements a blur of speed and power.

However, Goku's relentless nature began to pull ahead as he pushed Orochimaru to his limits.

Each punch, each kick, showcased the effects of the gravity training stimuli.

Something that Orochimaru could not prepare for.

And then the Sannin remembered he didn't have to fight on Goku's playing field, he was still a shinobi. A legendary one at that.

And thus, Goku's pure martial prowess and ki-based attacks met Orochimaru's dark, twisted jutsus with equal force.

Haku, clad in her typical Anbu attire, watched the titanic battle between Orochimaru and Goku from a safe distance. Danzo had given her a mission: eliminate Son Goku if he did not prove his loyalty to the village. She had been instructed to observe, to wait, and to act only if necessary. But the sheer scale of the conflict unfolding before her eyes was beyond anything she had anticipated.

She ducked behind a large boulder, narrowly avoiding a blast of energy that tore through the air, sending debris flying in all directions. The ground shook violently, and she had to use all her agility to stay undetected amidst the chaos. Her heart pounded in her chest as she evaded flying rubble and shockwaves that threatened to expose her position.

Nearby, hidden in the shadows, White Zetsu observed the battle with a mixture of curiosity and calculation. His voice, a whisper in the wind, narrated the scene as he communicated with his other half. "Son Goku's power is astonishing. He's growing stronger with each passing moment. Orochimaru may not be able to hold him off for long."

White Zetsu's eyes gleamed with a sinister light as he continued, "The Eye of the Moon Plan hinges on our ability to subdue powerful individuals like him. Opening the Mafuba jar containing King Piccolo is imperative. Goku's growth rate is alarming; he could become an insurmountable obstacle if he is not already."

Goku and Orochimaru clashed again, their movements a blur to any onlooker. Orochimaru unleashed his Kusanagi sword, its deadly arc aimed at the boy's neck.

The boy ducked under the blade, countering with a powerful knee strike to Orochimaru's gut.

"Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Kū no Tachi!" The Sannin swung his sword in a wide arc, forcing Goku to leap back.

Orochimaru followed up with a series of hand seals. "Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku!" A massive wall of fire roared towards Goku.

The Saiyan crossed his arms, summoning ki into his arms in order defend himself properly. In an allotment of control that was foreign to him and nearly impossible to perform, Goku produced his first ever form of defense.

"Energy Shield!" The flames crashed against the shield, their heat intense but unable to penetrate Goku's defense.

As the flames dissipated, Goku charged through the smoke, his fists glowing with golden ki. "Kame Sandan!"

He fired the yellow energy bullets at Orochimaru, who quickly performed another set of hand seals.

"Doton: Doryūheki!" A behemoth of a massive earth wall erupted from the ground, blocking the Kame Sandan.

The energy blast collided with the wall, causing a massive explosion that sent debris flying in all directions.

Before the dust could settle, Orochimaru lunged at Goku, his snake-like appendages extending to strike. "Sen'ei Jashu!" The snakes shot out, their fangs bared and dripping with venom.

Goku spun in mid-air, delivering a rapid series of kicks and punches to fend off the snakes. "Jan Ken Pon! Rock!" He smashed through the serpents, dispersing them with sheer force.

Orochimaru reformed, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Let's see how you handle this!"

Goku raised an eyebrow. "Handle what?"

"Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei!" Orochimaru summoned the reanimated bodies of fallen warriors, their eyes lifeless and cold. The undead soldiers advanced on Goku, their movements mechanical but deadly.

Goku's eyes narrowed, his resolve unshaken. He moved with blinding speed, striking each reanimated warrior with pinpoint precision.

"Kame Sandan!" He blasted them with concentrated ki blasts, reducing each of them to dust.

Orochimaru took advantage of the distraction, launching a surprise attack. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" He created several shadow clones, each one charging at Goku from different angles.

Despite the numerical advantage, Goku sped up his processing, utilizing the patented Zanzoken technique.

Goku's fists became a imperceptible blur of afterimages as he struck each clone, dispersing them with powerful blows. He then turned his attention back to the real Orochimaru.

"You haven't seen anything yet," he muttered, his voice growing louder with each word. Somersaulting into the desolate, grey hued skies above, Goku powered up as if it was coded in his biology.

The ground beneath him began to crack as his power surged. His hair stood on end with the wind, and a fiery light blue aura enveloped his body. Orochimaru's eyes widened in shock and fear.

"What is this power?" he whispered.

Goku's ki exploded outward, creating a shockwave that flattened the surrounding trees and sent debris flying in all directions.

"This is the power of someone who works for it!" he roared, his voice echoing through the forest.

Orochimaru lunged forward despite his senses telling him to flee, his Kusanagi sword aimed at Goku's heart. But Goku was faster. He dodged to the side, then delivered a powerful kick to Orochimaru's midsection, sending him crashing into the ground.

The impact created a crater, and Orochimaru lay at the bottom, coughing up blood.

"You're finished Orochimaru!" Goku said, his voice cold and determined.

But Orochimaru wasn't done yet. He stood up, his body trembling with rage and pain. "You think you've won?" he spat. "I still have one last trick up my sleeve."

He performed a series of hand seals, and the ground beneath Goku began to tremble. "Kuchiyose: Sanjū Rashōmon!"

Three massive demonic gates rose from the ground, forming an impenetrable barrier between Goku and Orochimaru.

Goku smirked, his confidence unwavering. "Not this again!"

He gathered his energy, his ki flaring even brighter. "I won't even charge up this time! Kamehameha!"

He fired the beam without gathering his ki for amplification, obliterating the gates once more.

Orochimaru tried to regain his composure, but Goku was relentless. He closed the distance in an instant, delivering a barrage of punches and kicks that left Orochimaru reeling.

"This ends now!" Goku shouted, his aura flaring even brighter.

Orochimaru, desperate, summoned another defensive jutsu. "Manda no Jutsu!"

A massive serpent appeared, coiling around Orochimaru protectively.

Goku's eyes narrowed. "You think that snake will save you?"

He powered up further, his aura blazing with intense energy. "Kame Sandan!"

He fired another beam, the energy tearing the serpent apart before he could react and hitting Orochimaru with full force.

Orochimaru screamed in pain as the energy engulfed him, his durability and regenerative abilities reaching an apex.

DOOOOOSH!

As the scene cleared up, Goku hovered above, his expression a mix of fury and determination.

"You're finished, Orochimaru," Goku said, his voice cold. "This is the end."

Despite the dexterity and versatility of the Sannin, it was evident that one had clear superiority over the other. Goku's ability to adapt under pressure allowed him to grow and evolve at an astounding rate. Each clash seemed to sharpen his skills further, whereas Orochimaru, despite his own immense power, began to falter.

And not only his body, but his mind began to crumble as well.

"You really think you can defeat me? ME?!"

Orochimaru taunted in delirium, his serpentine eyes gleaming with malice bordering on the lines of insanity.

"I've experimented on my body for years, perfecting my power!"

The snake stood up from his position on the ground, wounds and broken bones healing quickly.

"I will become a god!"

Goku's eyes narrowed, his resolve hardening. His small measure of respect for Orochimaru plummeting down to an abyss.

"Power isn't just about shortcuts! It's about pushing your limits every single day."

There was a stark contrast in their approaches to power. Goku trained tirelessly, pushing his limits day after day. Orochimaru, on the other hand, sought shortcuts—experimenting on himself and others to gain strength quickly. But there was no feasible shortcut that could match the benefits of hard work and perseverance.

Steroids and alternative methods to genuine effort could never compare to the fruits of consistent training. The difference between was clearer than the water in the Saiyan and Serpent manufactured river currents below them.

Goku wanted to be stronger, continually improving himself, while Orochimaru wanted to be the strongest, seeking power through any means necessary. This fundamental difference in their philosophies began to show in their fight.

Goku's consistent training and desire for self-improvement started giving him the resounding upper hand...

Something was off.

A sense of dread began to permeate in the air.

Goku's senses suddenly spiked, alerting him to a disturbance. Despite the foe before him, he sensed Kiba's energy signature fading fast.

His heart skipped a beat, and his focus wavered.

The situation was becoming increasingly bleak.

He needed to save Kiba.

However, the moment he turned his back on his opponent, he received a weak ki blast as a reminder of his obligation. Of his fight to the presumable death wtih his newly acclaimed arch rival.

Each time Goku tried to break away, Orochimaru blocked him, irritation flashing in his eyes.

"Where do you think you're going, Son Goku?" Orochimaru hissed, his voice dripping with venom. "Do you think you can just walk away from me?"

Goku's eyes narrowed, his frustration mounting. "I don't have time for you right now! Kiba needs me!"

But Orochimaru refused to relent, attacking with renewed ferocity. Each attempt to disengage was met with a brutal counterattack, preventing Goku from reaching his friend.

And then it happened—Kiba's energy signature vanished completely, extinguished like a candle in the wind.

"No!" Goku's cry was a mixture of anguish and fury.

Orochimaru lunged at him, but Goku, driven by a newfound rage, struck him in the jaw with such force that it cracked on impact. The blow sent Orochimaru hurtling into a distant mountain, which exploded into rubble immediately.

As Orochimaru struggled to climb out of the debris, Goku descended upon him, his aura flaring with a blinding metallic blue light.

His eyes blazed with an intensity that Orochimaru had never seen before.

"Who did it?! Who killed Kiba?!" Goku demanded, his voice trembling with barely controlled rage.

Orochimaru responded with a mouth blast, but Goku caught the energy attack with his right palm. WHAM! With a roar, he drove the beam back into Orochimaru's face, slamming it into him and dragging him across the rugged terrain, carving a deep trench in the earth.

Letting him go after a rage fueled maneuver, Goku floated over him menacingly, the air around him crackling with raw power.

"You bastard! Answer me! Answer me right now!"

Orochimaru refused to speak, his lips curling into a defiant smile despite the pain. Infuriated, Goku unleashed a flurry of devastating blows. Each strike was fueled by a mix of sorrow and fury, driving Orochimaru further into the ground.

The Saiyan's temperament gone, he pounded the snake into the dirt. Unceasingly.

"Tell me who did this!" Goku demanded again, his voice a roar. "Or I'll destroy you right here, right now!"

Orochimaru laughed maniacally, blood trickling from his mouth. "Kabuto," he croaked, "is probably doing the same to the rest of your team as we speak..."

Sakura's fists were clenched, her knuckles white. "We don't have time to waste. Let's end this quickly."

She needed to help the others, especially Naruto.

Shikamaru nodded, his mind already calculating a dozen strategies. "Agreed. Stay sharp, Sakura. These two won't go down easily."

Suigetsu smirked, his shark-like teeth gleaming. "You think you can take us? You've got another thing coming."

Karin adjusted her glasses, her eyes gleaming with intelligence and cunning. "Don't underestimate us!"

The battle continued with a flurry of movement. Suigetsu transformed his body into water, his fluid form surging towards Sakura. "Suiro no Jutsu!" he shouted, attempting to trap her in a water prison.

Sakura dodged to the side, her fists glowing with chakra. "RAH!" she cried, slamming her fist into the ground and sending shockwaves through the earth. The force disrupted Suigetsu's form, scattering the water.

Meanwhile, Karin launched a barrage of kunai at Shikamaru, each blade tipped with poison.

Shikamaru's eyes narrowed as he performed a series of hand signs. "Kagemane no Jutsu!" His shadow extended, capturing Karin's movements and freezing her in place.

"Nice try," the Nara said, his voice calm and calculated. "But you'll have to do better than that."

Karin struggled against the shadow bind, her frustration evident. "Damn you! Suigetsu, help me!"

Suigetsu reformed behind Sakura, his sword swinging in a deadly arc. "Decapitating Carving Knife!" he roared, aiming for her neck.

Sakura, with reflexes gained due to her training, ducked underneath the beheading attempt and countered with a powerful uppercut. "Shannaro!" Her fist connected with Suigetsu's jaw, sending him staggering back.

Shikamaru, realization kicking in, released his shadow bind and switched his focus to Suigetsu. He called out to his partner.

"We need to switch it up, Sakura. I'll take Suigetsu, you handle Karin."

Sakura nodded, her resolve steely. "Got it."

They swapped opponents seamlessly. Shikamaru faced Suigetsu, his shadow weaving through the battlefield.

"Kage Nui!" he called, his shadow forming tendrils that shot towards Suigetsu, attempting to immobilize him.

Suigetsu dodged with ease, his watery form slipping through the shadows. "You can't catch me that easily, Nara!"

Karin, now facing Sakura, adjusted her stance.

"You're going to regret this," she hissed, summoning chains of chakra that shot towards Sakura. "Uzumaki Sealing Chains!"

Sakura dodged with newfound speed and countered with a barrage of punches, each one infused with chakra. "GRAHH!"

Their fight was intense, each side giving it their all. Suigetsu's water-based attacks clashed with Shikamaru's shadows, while Sakura's brute strength met Karin's chakra chains. The area around them bore the scars of their battle, objects splintered, Red Ribbon Army machine parts scattered, and the ground torn apart.

Sakura eventually managed to break through Karin's defenses, her fist connecting with a powerful blow.

"You're done!" she shouted, sending Karin crashing into a bone structure.

The redhead struggled to her feet, her breath ragged. "Not yet…"

Meanwhile, Shikamaru's shadow tendrils finally caught up Suigetsu, manipulating the shadows generated by the surrounding rocks, crevices, bones, machinery, and chaotic structures in order to pin him in place.

"Shadow possession, success. You're not going anywhere," the Nara said, his voice icy.

Suigetsu struggled, his form shifting as he tried to escape. "Damn you, Nara!"

Sakura saw her chance. "Naruto-kun!" she called out, her voice carrying through the battlefield.

The real Naruto, hearing Sakura's call, left his army of clones and rushed to her side. "Sakura-chan! What's up?"

"Help me take him down!" She responded with urgency, opening up her left palm and forming a spiraling sphere. Catching her drift, Naruto quickly created a Kage Bunshin and created his own sphere to match.

The two locked eyes, knowing what to do next without needing to say words. Time seemed to slow for a bit as sapphire met emerald, but the moment was expunged quickly when the heat of the moment returned.

Quickly blitzing to the other side of Sakura, Naruto sped toward a trapped Suigetsu, Sakura mirroring him from the front.

Suigetsu's eyes widened in realization. "No, you don't!"

But it was too late. Sakura and Naruto lunged forward, their Rasengans shooting them forward into the Oto-nin's tepid form.

"Rasengan!" they shouted in unison, slamming the combined energy into Suigetsu.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The force of the attack was overwhelming. Suigetsu's body was torn apart by the combined Rasengan. The ground shook with the impact, leaving a deep crater where he had stood.

The battlefield was a chaotic maelstrom of energy and debris. Amidst the turmoil, Sakura and Naruto stood side by side, their breaths being heard from the recent clash. Suigetsu lay dead at their feet, his body dissipating into a pool of water, the combined power of their Rasengan having been too much for him.

"Sakura-chan, are you okay?" Naruto asked, his voice filled with concern as he turned to her, his eyes scanning for any injuries.

Sakura nodded, her cheeks flushed from the exertion and the heat of the battle. "I'm fine, Naruto-kun. Thanks to you."

Naruto's face lit up with a relieved smile, his heart swelling with pride and affection. "We make a pretty good team, huh?"

Sakura couldn't help but smile back, despite the intensity of the situation. "Yeah, we do." Her voice softened, and for a moment, the chaos around them seemed to fade away. She took a step closer, her hand lightly brushing against his.

"Naruto-kun... thank you for always being there for me."

Naruto's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected tenderness in her voice. He felt his pulse quicken, but he managed to keep his voice steady. "I'll always be here for you, Sakura-chan. No matter what."

For a brief moment, the world around them paused. The sounds of battle faded into the background, leaving just the two of them standing there, their gazes locked. Sakura's eyes softened, a small, genuine smile playing on her lips. "I know. And I appreciate it more than you know."

Naruto swallowed, his heart pounding in his chest. He took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "Sakura-chan... I—"

Before he could finish, a loud explosion nearby snapped them back to reality. The moment was gone, but the warmth of it lingered.

Sakura tightened her grip on his hand for just a second before letting go, her expression turning serious once more. "We should get back to the others. They need us."

Naruto nodded, his determination renewed. "Right. Let's go. Be careful, Sakura-chan!"

And with that, the blonde returns to his position of crowd controller, making Sakura sigh at his absence.

The rosette then turned her attention to Karin, who was struggling to her feet, tears streaming down her face upon seeing the death of what could be considered a brother in arms.

"Please, no more," Karin sobbed, her voice breaking. "I don't want to fight anymore."

Shikamaru approached cautiously, his eyes narrowing. "What's your angle, Karin?"

Karin fell to her knees, her body trembling. "I never wanted this. Orochimaru took everything from me. My family, my home… He promised me power, but all I've known is pain."

Sakura's eyes softened, her fists lowering. "Why did you stay with him?"

Karin looked up, her eyes filled with despair. "I had nowhere else to go. He used me, manipulated me… I just wanted to survive."

Shikamaru and Sakura exchanged a glance, their expressions conflicted. The leader of the mission finally spoke, his voice gentle but firm. "If you're telling the truth, we won't kill you. But you need to prove that you're not a threat."

Karin nodded, her tears falling freely. "I'll do whatever it takes. Just please, don't kill me."

Sakura sighed, her resolve softening. "Alright. For now, you're spared. But if you try anything…"

The Uzumaki shook her head vigorously. "I won't. I promise."

The battlefield was a chaotic blend of shattered terrain and towering bone structures. Sasuke and Hinata stood side by side, their breaths steady despite the carnage around them. Across from them, Jugo and Kimimaro prepared for another round, their eyes filled with lethal intent.

Without a word, the pairs engaged. Kimimaro lunged at Sasuke with blinding speed, his arm transforming into a deadly blade of bone. "Tsubaki no Mai!" he shouted, aiming directly for Sasuke's heart.

At the same time, Jugo charged at Hinata, his fists crashing into the ground with earth-shattering force.

"Kongōriki!" he bellowed, creating a shockwave that rippled through the forest.

Sasuke sidestepped Kimimaro's attack, countering with a swift kick to his ribs. The bone armor absorbed most of the impact, but the Oto-nin staggered back slightly. "Your speed will not be enough," he remarked, extending his bone blade further and striking at the Uchiha with rapid slashes.

Hinata leaped into the air, evading Jugo's attack with graceful precision. She landed a few feet away, her stance firm and her eyes focused, her vision piercing through Jugo's defenses.

"Jyuken!" Her chakra-infused hands glowed as she struck, aiming for his vital points.

Jugo roared in pain but didn't falter. He swung his arm in a wide arc, aiming to catch Hinata off guard. She ducked under his swing and delivered a series of rapid strikes to his torso.

"Hakke Sanjūni Shō!" Her fingers moved with blinding speed, each hit disrupting his chakra flow.

Staggering back, Jugo's eyes blazed with fury. "I'll crush you!"

He unleashed a barrage of chakra blasts, each one capable of leveling a mountain. Hinata stood firm.

Kimimaro raised his hand, bones sprouting from his fingertips. "Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru!"

The bone whip lashed out, wrapping around Sasuke's arm. The avenger gritted his teeth as the whip tightened, but he remained composed. "Raiton: Raimei!" he called out, electricity surging from his body and traveling through his hands as a medium, the thunder clap causing Kimimaro to recoil, releasing his grip.

Kimimaro's eyes narrowed as he sank into the ground. "Sawarabi no Mai!" he shouted, and a forest of bone spikes erupted around Sasuke, aiming to impale him from all directions.

Hinata weaved through Jugo's attacks, her movements fluid and controlled. She could feel the heat and intensity of his attacks, but her focus never wavered.

"Hakke Kūshō!" she shouted, thrusting her palm forward and releasing a powerful burst of compressed air.

THOOOOOM!

The two attacks collided, creating a shockwave that shook the entire battlefield.

As the dust settled, Hinata emerged from the cloud of debris, unscathed and resolute.

Jugo, panting heavily, glared at her with pure hatred. "Why won't you just fall?!"

Hinata's eyes softened for a moment, seeing the torment within Jugo's soul. "Because I have things to do, goals to achieve, people to help," she replied calmly. "And I won't let you take that away from me."

Kimimaro emerged from the ground, his bones slicing through the earth. "You cannot escape, Uchiha. My bones will be your grave."

Sasuke leaped into the air, narrowly avoiding the deadly spikes. He landed on one of the bones, his Sharingan spinning as he searched for an opening. "I need to find a way to end this," he muttered to himself, his eyes narrowing.

And then an idea sparked.

"Switch!" Sasuke suddenly shouted, darting towards Jugo. Hinata nodded, understanding immediately. She dashed towards Kimimaro.

Jugo's rage only intensified. He slammed his fists together, causing a surge of chakra to envelop his body. "Tenpechi!" he roared, unleashing a torrent of destructive energy towards Sasuke.

Sasuke dodged, closing the distance between them.

"You think you can overpower me?" he asked condescendingly, his Chidori crackling with electricity. "Chidori!" He thrust his electrified hand at Jugo, but Jugo deflected it with a massive punch, sending Sasuke skidding back.

Hinata faced Kimimaro with unwavering resolve.

"You may have your bones, but I have my own strength," she said, her voice steady. She moved with incredible speed, her hands glowing with chakra. "Hakke Sanjūni Shō!" she shouted, her strikes hitting Kimimaro's vital points.

Kimimaro grunted in pain, but his bone armor absorbed much of the damage. "You're resilient, Hyuga. But it won't save you," he hissed, unleashing another wave of bone spikes.

Sasuke and Jugo clashed fiercely, their attacks creating shockwaves that reverberated through the battlefield.

Jugo's relentless assault was overwhelming, but Sasuke's Sharingan allowed him to predict and counter each move.

"You're hellaciously strong," Sasuke blurted out once again, dodging another powerful punch. "But strength without control is meaningless." He formed a series of hand seals, his eyes blazing with determination. "Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu!"

A dragon-shaped flame shot from his mouth, carving a path through the chaos.

Jugo roared in frustration, his body trembling with barely contained fury. "Stop running away from me Uchiha!"

Hinata and Kimimaro's duel was equally intense. She dodged his bone spikes with grace, countering with precise strikes to his tenketsu points. The latter's eyes gleamed with a dangerous light.

"Let's see how you handle this," he murmured, raising his hand. "Sawarabi no Mai!"

The ground erupted with bone spikes once more, but Hinata was ready.

"Hakkeshō Kaiten!" she cried, spinning rapidly and creating a protective dome of chakra that deflected the bone spikes. The force of the attack was dispersed, the ground around her scorched but unyielding.

"Switch again!" Sasuke called out, leaping towards Kimimaro. Hinata nodded, turning to face Jugo once more.

Jugo's eyes were wild with rage as he faced Hinata, voiced laced with unmasked desperation. "You... you think you can accomplish your goals? You think you can save anyone?"

Hinata's gaze softened, a small, sad smile forming on her lips. "I believe that we can make a difference as long as we believe we can." A picture of Goku's optimism and cheerful smiled appeared in her mind, making her swoon for a moment...

"I've seen it happen before. Son Goku is proof, and I stand with him. As a team, we can make change."

Jugo's fury reached a boiling point. "I'll end this now!" he screamed, his body glowing with raw power.

He unleashed a barrage of chakra blasts, each one aimed to obliterate Hinata.

Hinata remained composed, her Byakugan revealing the perfect moment to strike. As Jugo's fists descended, she moved with blinding speed, evading his attack and closing the distance between them. "Hakke Rokujūyon Shō!" Her hands became a blur of motion, each strike hitting a vital point on Jugo's body. "Two palms! Four palms! Eight palms! Sixteen palms! Thirty-two palms! Sixty-four palms!"

Each hit disrupted Jugo's chakra, leaving him gasping and immobile. He staggered back, his body trembling with pain and exhaustion.

Seeing this, Kimimaro's eyes flashed with anger. "It's time for us to end this!" He raised his hand, summoning a sea of bones that surged towards Sasuke.

Sasuke's Sharingan spun, analyzing every movement. "I agree, this ends now," he said quietly, forming the hand seals for his most powerful technique. "Chidori!" Electricity crackled around his hand, the sound of a thousand birds chirping filling the air.

On top of this, in his mind, he unlocks the Kaimon gate of opening, increasing his attributes temporarily five times over.

He dashed forward, his speed blinding as the Chidori blazed in his hand.

Kimimaro's eyes widened in realization, not able to track his foe any longer. "Impossible..."

Sasuke's Chidori pierced through the bone spikes, cutting a path straight to Kimimaro. "Like I said, it's over!" he shouted, driving his electrified hand towards Kimimaro's heart.

Kimimaro attempted to counter with a bone blade, but Sasuke's speed and power were overwhelming. The Chidori struck true, piercing through Kimimaro's defenses and driving deep into his chest. He gasped, blood trickling from his mouth as the electricity coursed through his body.

"You... think... you've won?" Kimimaro wheezed, his voice a mixture of pain and defiance. "My bones... will endure..."

Sasuke locked eyes with him, his gaze steely. "No. It's over, Kimimaro. You fought a good fight, but your path ends here."

Kimimaro's body trembled, his strength failing as he sank to his knees. The light in his eyes began to fade, the realization of his defeat settling in. "Orochimaru-sama... forgive me..." he whispered before collapsing, the sea of bones around them beginning to crumble.

Hinata stood before the downed Jugo, her eyes laced with sympathy. None of the people they were fighting were actually evil or deserving of their fates. They didn't have a choice in the matter, their positions were forced upon them.

They were all victims.

Fuck Orochimaru.

Unfortunately, the mission was the mission, and they were ordered to kill everyone...

But would Goku follow protocol? Would he have the heart to kill all of these guys who associated with Orochimaru?

She doubted it.

"You fought bravely Jugo," she said quietly, "but it's over. I won't kill you."

Jugo's strength officially failed him. His body collapsed to the ground, his rage and power spent. He looked up at Hinata with a mixture of defiance and resignation, his eyes filled with the last remnants of his fury.

"You... you think you've won... But you can't... protect anything..."

Hinata's eyes softened with compassion.

"Perhaps not. I want to train hard, never give up, and protect those I care about with all my strength. I will constantly seek to better myself and face every challenge head-on, no matter how tough the journey. That's my nindo, my ninja way."

As the battlefield fell silent, the dust settled, and the remnants of the sea of bones crumbled into nothingness. Sasuke stood over the fallen Kimimaro, his Chidori fading as he looked down at his defeated opponent. Hinata knelt beside the unconscious Jugo, her heart feeling the weight of the battle.

Sasuke walked over to Hinata, his expression serious but relieved. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice steady.

Hinata nodded, her eyes meeting his. "Yes. We did what we had to do."

Sasuke looked around at the devastation, the fallen enemies, and the scarred landscape. "We need to go back to the others. They might need our help."

Hinata stood, her resolve firm. "Let's go. We can't afford to waste any more time."

Sasuke and Hinata stood together, standing amidst the wreckage of the battlefield, their enemies defeated.

The fight against Orochimaru and his forces was far from over, but for now, they had won a crucial first victory.

Goku's heart pounded. He couldn't waste any more time. He had to stop Kabuto before it was too late.

He turned to leave, but Orochimaru's tongue shot out, wrapping around his arm and yanking him back.

"You're not going anywhere," Orochimaru growled, his body pulsing with dark energy as he powered up, his tongue pulling Goku closer.

Goku's own aura flared, a brilliant light metallic blue. With a yell, he pulled Orochimaru towards him with incredible force, delivering a devastating kick to his healing but fractured jaw, shattering it completely and sending him skyrocketing back into the sky.

Orochimaru was sent flying, his body breaking through the treetops and disappearing into the clouds.

Goku's anger had reached a boiling point. His friends needed him, and he wouldn't let Orochimaru or anyone else stand in his way.

The Saiyan warrior shot up into the sky, his speed a blur. He caught up with Orochimaru, who was trying to stabilize himself. Goku didn't give him a chance to recover. He unleashed a relentless barrage of attacks, each one landing with bone-crushing force. Orochimaru's attempts to retaliate were futile; every jutsu was countered, every attack evaded or blocked.

"You've got power, Orochimaru," Goku remarked between blows, his voice cold. "But you lack skill. You lack the discipline and experience to use it effectively."

Orochimaru sneered, his serpentine eyes narrowing. "You think you can defeat me with these childish mind games? You're nothing more than a naive child. Power isn't something you can achieve with mere resolve. And skill is meaningless in the realm of the strong."

Goku's frown deepened. "It's not about the games. It's about proving a point!"

With a burst of speed, Goku closed the distance between them, his right fist drawn back. "Jan Ken! Gu! Rock!" He shouted, slamming his fist into Orochimaru's jaw with devastating force. The impact sent shockwaves through the air, the ground a long distance beneath them cracking from the sheer power.

Orochimaru staggered, a look of surprise flashing across his face. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth as he tried to comprehend the strength behind Goku's strike. "Impossible... How can a child possess so much power?"

Before he could recover, Goku followed up with his left hand, his fingers extended. "Pa! Paper!" His hand struck Orochimaru's chest, sending him skidding backward across the ground.

The impact resonated through Orochimaru's body, causing him to cough up more blood.

"You've spent your life seeking shortcuts to power," Goku continued, his voice carrying a weight of conviction. "But true strength comes from the heart, from the bonds we form and the will to protect others."

As Orochimaru struggled to regain his footing, Goku moved in for the final strike. He brought his right hand up, his fingers forming a scissor-like shape. "Choki! Scissors!"

Goku's hand slashed through the air, slicing across Orochimaru's midsection with precision.

The Sannin cried out in pain, his body convulsing as he was sent flying back. He crashed into a boulder, shattering it on impact.

Dust and debris filled the air, but Goku stood tall, looking more dangerous than ever before.

Breathing with anger, Goku watched as the dust settled, revealing Orochimaru's battered form. The once-mighty shinobi lay crumpled amidst the rubble, his eyes wide with shock and agony. The arrogance and confidence that once defined him were now replaced with disbelief and a haunting realization of his defeat.

The Rock Paper Scissors combo destroyed him.

"You... how...?" Orochimaru gasped, his voice a weak whisper. "How could I lose to you? Even with your power at my disposal!"

Goku lowered his hands, his expression trembling with barely tempered rage. "Shut up! You have no shred of honor whatsoever!"

Orochimaru's healing factor, enhanced by the seal Tsunade had placed on him, struggled to keep up with the damage. Goku's cells were taxing his regenerative abilities far more than anticipated. The sinister serpent's body was a mangled mess, and yet Goku showed no signs of slowing down.

Goku walked over to his opponent and then grabbed Orochimaru by the scruff of his shirt, his free hand glowing with a dangerous amount of blue ki. Different from his typical azure Kamehameha, the color of this potential attack resembled that of his late father's in his last stand against the Emperor of the Universe...

The Raiotto Jaberin. Also known as the Riot Javelin. The Final Spirit Cannon.

The forest around them had grown eerily quiet, the echoes of battle fading into the distance. Shikamaru, Sakura, Hinata, and Sasuke regrouped, each bearing the marks of their recent fights. Karin and Jugo, the only two survivors of the battles, were unconscious and tied up together by ninja wire. As the group caught their breath and observed Naruto and his army begin to dominate and whittle down the numbers in the platoon of Red Ribbon Army and less relevant Oto-nin, a rustling sound caught their attention.

"ARRK ARRK ARRK!"

Akamaru burst into the clearing, barking frantically. The absence of Kiba at his side was immediately noticeable, sending a chill down Shikamaru and the other's spine.

"Akamaru, what happened?" Shikamaru asked, his mind racing with possibilities.

Akamaru continued to bark, his distress evident. Shikamaru watched him closely, trying to piece together what the dog was attempting to convey. "Something happened to Kiba," he said aloud, his voice tinged with worry. "But what else? Why is he so agitated?"

Hinata, having spent more time with Akamaru than anyone else, stepped forward. She knelt down, placing a calming hand on Akamaru's head. "It's okay, Akamaru. We're here. Show us what's wrong."

Akamaru whined softly, his eyes reflecting a mixture of fear and urgency. Hinata closed her eyes, trying to connect with him.

When she opened them, her Byakugan reactivated, scanning the area for any immediate threats.

Hinata's eyes widened.

"Someone's coming. Someone terrifying. Maybe the person who…" Her voice trailed off, the implication clear.

Kiba's killer was on his way.

The group tensed, preparing for the worst. Shortly after, the sound of two sandals clicking on the ground echoed through the forest. Before them stood Kabuto, his appearance eerily similar to when he was purely human, but with notable differences. His glasses were gone, and his chakra system flowed in a way that suggested it no longer had a limit.

"Ah, it seems Akamaru found his way back to you," Kabuto said, a cold smile playing on his lips. "I was wondering when I'd get to face you all."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed, the Sharingan blazing. "Kabuto. What did you do to Kiba?"

Kabuto's smile widened, his expression one of dark satisfaction. "Kiba? Ah, yes. He put up a valiant effort, but in the end, he was no match for me. I killed him not too long ago."

Hinata's heart clenched, but she forced herself to stay composed. "Why are you doing this?"

Kabuto shrugged nonchalantly. "Orochimaru's plans require certain… sacrifices. Besides, with my new enhancements, it's rather entertaining to test my abilities."

Sakura clenched her fists, her rage barely contained. "You monster!"

Kabuto's eyes gleamed with amusement. "Let's see if you can fare better than Kiba."

The air grew thick with tension as the two sides prepared for battle. Sasuke, Hinata, Shikamaru, and Sakura readied themselves, their focus sharp. Naruto, sensing the danger, summoned several Kage Bunshin, which surrounded Kabuto.

"Everyone, be careful," Shikamaru warned. "He's different now."

With a sudden burst of speed, Kabuto launched himself at the group. He moved so quickly that Hinata barely had time to react. Her Byakugan tracked his movements, but he was too crafty, evading her strikes with ease.

"Jūken!" she called out, her chakra-infused hands aiming for his vital points.

Kabuto dodged effortlessly, countering with a swift strike that sent Hinata stumbling back.

"You're too predictable," he taunted.

Sasuke moved in, his Chidori crackling with energy. "Chidori!" he shouted, aiming for Kabuto's chest.

Kabuto sidestepped, grabbing Sasuke's wrist and twisting it painfully.

"You'll have to do better than that, Uchiha," Kabuto sneered, tossing Sasuke aside as if he were trash.

Shikamaru attempted to bind Kabuto with his shadows. "Kagemane no Jutsu!"

His shadow extended, but Kabuto was too fast, evading the attack and closing the distance between them.

"Shikamaru, watch out!" Sakura cried, charging in with a powerful punch aimed at Kabuto's head. "RAH!"

Kabuto caught her fist mid-air, the impact not affecting him at all. He twisted her arm out of socket, causing her to cry out in pain.

"Such raw strength, still not enough," he mocked, flinging her to the ground.

The Naruto clones swarmed him, each one attacking from a different angle. "Uzumaki Naruto Rendan!" they shouted, but Kabuto moved like a blur, destroying each clone with minimal effort.

"How is he so strong?" Naruto gasped, his real self leaping back to assess the situation. The platoon, currently down to only 300 members, could wait.

Kabuto smirked, his eyes cold and calculating. "My enhancements have made me far superior to any of you. Your efforts are futile."

And he was right.

Despite their best efforts, Kabuto was too strong for them. He was too crafty for Hinata, too strong for Sasuke, and too fast for Shikamaru and Sakura. Every attack was countered or evaded, leaving them battered and exhausted.

"We need a plan," Shikamaru panted, his mind racing. "We can't keep fighting him like this. We need to find a weakness."

Sakura wiped blood from her lip, her resolve hardening. "There has to be a way. We just need to keep trying."

As the battle raged on, their desperation grew. Kabuto's relentless assault showed no signs of slowing, his power seemingly limitless. It was clear that their usual tactics wouldn't work against him. They needed something more, something decisive.

"Is there anyway to defeat him?" Shikamaru wondered aloud, his voice tinged with frustration and desperation.

Kabuto's laughter echoed through the battlefield and further beyond, a chilling sound that sent shivers down their spines. "You can't defeat me. Not as I am now."

The group, battered and bruised, knew they were facing an enemy unlike any they had encountered before.

The question remained: could they find a way to defeat this new, terrifying Kabuto?

Goku's morality hung in the balance, his rage threatening to consume him even more.

"You took Kiba from us," Goku said, his voice a deadly whisper. "You hurt my friends. I won't let you hurt anyone else."

The ki sphere increased in intensity.

"You're nothing but a monster!" Goku continued, his voice thick with emotion. "And monsters need to be stopped."

Orochimaru, despite his grievous injuries, managed a twisted smile.

"You're just like me, Son Goku," he wheezed. "Driven by power...consumed by it."

"I'm nothing like you!" the Saiyan shouted, his aura flaring even brighter. "I fight to protect those I care about! You destroy for your own twisted desires!"

Orochimaru laughed louder, a sound that was full of mirth. "We will see," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "We will see..."

Goku's fury boiled over. He raised his hand, the ki orb in his palm glowing brighter and brighter with deadly intensity. But just as he was about to release it, he hesitated. This was not the way he was taught by Muten Roshi. This was not the way of Kame.

He would not stoop to Orochimaru's level. He had to be better than that.

"No," Goku said, his voice steadying. "I won't kill you. But I will stop you."

With a swift movement, Goku delivered a powerful kick to Orochimaru's head, knocking him out cold. The sinister shinobi's body went limp, his chakra fading.

Goku stood there for a moment, the weight of the battle settling on his shoulders. The landscape around him was a testament to the ferocity of their clash, the former mountain ranges, and valleys bearing the scars of their epic confrontation.

He felt a mixture of relief and sorrow, knowing that while one enemy was defeated, the fight was far from over.

Goku's anger slowly ebbed away, replaced by a grim determination. He had to find Kabuto and stop him from harming his friends. He turned and shot towards the area where he sensed the rest of his team, his aura leaving a trail of blue light in the darkening sky.

"I won't let you down Kiba," he whispered to himself, his eyes hardening with resolve. "I will protect them. No matter what."

As Goku flew towards his next challenge, he felt a surge of energy within him. The battle had pushed him to his limits, and in doing so, had made him stronger. Orochimaru's words echoed in his mind, a grim reminder of the darkness that could consume even the most powerful warriors.

But Goku knew the difference. He fought for his friends, for justice, and for the strength that came from within. Orochimaru had been a test, a dark mirror of what he could become if he lost sight of what truly mattered.

As he closed in on the battlefield, Goku's aura flared, a beacon of hope and power in the midst of chaos. The clash of titans had tested his limits, but he had broken through them, emerging more powerful than ever before. The fight was not over, but Goku was ready.

The next battle awaited, and he would face it head-on, with the strength and resolve of a true Saiyan warrior.

The battle had raged on, the destruction spreading far and wide. Different spies from various villages observed the conflict, each jotting down notes to take back to their respective leaders. They watched in awe and terror as Goku and Orochimaru clashed with unimaginable power. But the battlefield was merciless.

One spy, hiding behind a crumbling wall, was crushed to death by a massive piece of debris. Another, taking notes in a nearby tree, was incinerated by a stray ki blast that obliterated everything in its path. Shockwaves ruptured the eardrums and brains of several spies, their bodies collapsing lifelessly to the ground. Explosions tore through the ranks of the hidden observers, and the ground itself split apart, swallowing some unfortunate souls whole.

Manda, Orochimaru's summoned serpent, crashed down, crushing several spies beneath its massive weight.

Haku's eyes darted around, taking in the carnage. Her breath hitched as she saw the death and destruction wrought by the battle. She knew she had to stay focused, to remain hidden. But the scene was a nightmare come to life.

Then, through the dust and debris, Haku saw Goku. His aura blazed brightly as he stood victorious over Orochimaru. She watched as he took to the sky, flying off towards the direction of his friends. Her heart clenched as she thought of Sasuke.

"Sasuke-kun," she whispered to herself, her eyes softening. "I need to help him. I can't let him face this alone." She paused, her voice barely audible over the silent, ominous battlefield. "I won't let you do it alone."

Determined, Haku began to move. She stayed in the shadows, her form blending seamlessly with the environment. She followed Goku's trail at quickened pace, her mind set on reaching Sasuke. The mission from Danzo weighed heavily on her...

But her heart led her to her true goal.

Haku slipped through the cracks, her form a ghostly presence amidst the chaos. She trailed Goku's path, her thoughts consumed with her love for Sasuke and her determination to protect him at all costs. Danzo could go to hell.

"Sasuke-kun, please stay alive," she murmured, her resolve strengthening with each leap. "I love you."
