Getting Picked Up From School: Shark
(Okay, this is gonna be the first of a few earlier one shots I was trying to write a while back! Basically, each Bad Guy and Diane will get a center focus. This is Shark's days when he picks up Zeke. For this, I was actually inspired by an Undertale comic I found. On another note, I'm thinking of putting this on a hiatus until the announced sequel comes out. Don't worry, I still have a bunch of one-shots planned, so don't expect me to go radio silent completely. But, I will keep these one shots on a bit of a hold until the second movie comes out. Getting that outta the way, enjoy the chapter!)
Zeke tried to climb on through the monkey bars, "I'm gonna make it this time! I'm gonna make it!" The young rabbit said, trying to make it across in one go. "Okay, made it to four…" his friend Jack had said, "Almost…there…g…" Zeke said, over exaggerating the pain his arms were feeling. "I-I can't do it, g." Zeke said, letting go at the fifth monkey bar. "Almost made it, though, there were two more!" Jack said, "Yeah, still, I shan't go on…Jack…carry on my legacy…" Zeke said, pretending to be fainting on the ground.
"Stop sounding so fancy, you just sound weird." Jack said, "But I will take my turn now!" Jack climbed up the ladder and tried to climb across the monkey bars. Zeke immediately got up and counted how many bars Jack could reach. "Okay, 4, 5, 6, 7…" Zeke looked over. Jack was almost there, but couldn't lift up his legs to reach the platform to the playground.
"Dang it!" Jack said, "Someday, we'll make it…If we exercise enough, I think?" Zeke asked.
Jack shrugged his arms. "Wanna go play basketball?" Zeke asked, "Sure!"
(Later)
Class went about as usual, Zeke was excelling at math and history, thankfully to past experiences with the Bad Guy's heists, but was failing at more unfamiliar territory, like English and Science. It was free time! "Here you go, Zeke." Mickayla handed a crayon over to Zeke, "Thanks, g." Zeke said, happily to his friend. Zeke was working on a cool coloring page. His mom didn't want him getting too distracted with his sketchbook at class.
The teacher Ms. Greene went back to her desk, when her phone rang. She set it to speaker "Ms. Greene." A voice spoke over the speaker, "Zeke Wolf-Foxington is going home." Zeke looked up, "Oh yeah, I forgot Uncle Lou said he was gonna pick me up today." Zeke said, wondering if his uncle wanted to do today.
When he walked to the reception desk with a teacher, he saw his Uncle Lou and greeted him with a small wave, "Hi, Uncle Lou!" Zeke said, "Hey, kiddo! How was your day? Shark asked him, "It was fun! I am now the new winner of freeze tag!" Zeke said, Shark smiled, signing out his nephew for the school day.
"That's great, buddy! Makes me remember when you'd try to play with Snake." Shark said, reminiscing the times Zeke would try to play with Snake, but then the reptile basically as quick as a ninja.
"Okay, thanks. See you!" Shark said to the receptionist. "So, what'd you need to do today, Uncle Lou?" Zeke asked. "I had to get some threads for some of my outfits. I figured you'd wanna tag along." Zeke's interest piqued in the moment, "What are you working on? No—wait, lemme guess!" Zeke said.
Shark giggled, "I'll give you three chances."
Zeke tried to think about what Shark's outfits would be, "You're working on your…Breaking Bad outfits?" Zeke asked, remembering his "Jude Lawson: Attorney At Law" disguise. "Nah, try again. Two more tries." Shark said.
"Uh…I'm not sure. Oh, you're working on remaking those old outfits from the heists!" Zeke said, remembering his uncle was the master of disguise.
"Not that one, either, buddy." Shark said, "Can I at least have a hint, g?!" Zeke said, almost admitting defeat. Shark kept his eyes on the road, "Sorry kiddo, not happening." Shark said, smiling innocently.
Zeke sighed, "Okay, uh…Are you working on an entirely new outfit?" He asked, "Close, and I think you'd like what character it is!" Shark said, excitedly.
"Okay, enough with the secrets, please tell me, Uncle Lou?" Zeke asked, "I thought about making some of those cool outfits from those Final Fantasy games you bought. I figured you'd wanna work on it, too?" Shark said, "Ohhh…Whoa, hold on, WHAT?!" Zeke shouted in the car. It startled Shark a little, "Zekey, calm down, we're still on the road!" Shark scolded him.
"Sorry!" Zeke sat back in his chair, correctly. "So, who were the characters you wanted to make?" Zeke asked, "I was thinking I'd start with Barret!" Shark explained, "Were there any characters you had in mind?"
Zeke's eyes lit up, "Can you make an outfit that looks like Vivi from IX?! I'll help you make it!" Shark chuckled. The two wanted to figure out which FF characters to cosplay!
(At the craft store)
"Can we go to the supermarket, later? I wanted to get Mom something for Mother's Day." Zeke asked, "Sure, buddy! I just need to get some supplies." Shark said Zeke stood on the side of the shopping cart while Shark pushed through the aisles. "What are you gonna do about the pew-pew-arm for the outfit?" Zeke asked, grabbing a little box of glass marbles. "I'll have mto make that in a 3D printer." Zeke then thought about it, "We could also find a replica on Etsy." the boy said. "Nah, I already asked your Aunt Webs to help me out with it." Shark said. Zeke nodding his head. "Oh, and I get to draw your tattoo!" Zeke said. "I thought you'd say that." Shark smiled. "Then that leaves the characters. I gotta memorize some of the lines."
The two kept go my through the aisle, "Oh! They have spray-paint!" Zeke said.
(Later)
Zeke grabbed the right colored markers to draw the tattoo on Shark's arm. "What the heck are you two doing?" Snake asked them, coming by with a push-pop. "I'm drawing a tattoo on Uncle Lou. We're working on our cosplays." Zeke said, grabbing a different marker. "Oh geez. Shark WAS talking about something like that." Snake said.
"Oh yeah, I have Webs helping out with the 3D gun model!" Shark said. Snake just rolled his eyes, "Anyways, I got you guys the last of the push pops." Shark grabbed the two from Snake and handed one to Zeke. "Thanks, Uncle Hubert!" Zeke said, "Whatever." Snake said. Zeke's eyes lit up, "We're making you a leather- faux fur jacket next, Uncle Squall!"
"Don't start calling me that…" Snake said, slithering off.
Zeke put the marker down, and pulled out his phone. "Okay, how's it lookin', g?" Zeke said. Shark looked over, "Not bad, Zekey. We just gotta add the flame, now."
(More later)
"You just gonna sit there and pretend you can't hear the planet cryin' out in pain?! I KNOW you can!" Shark said, acting the role. "You really hear that?" Zeke said, acting as Cloud.
"Dang straight I do!" Shark punched his chest, "Get help." Zeke said, trying to sound as despondent and rude as possible.
"Sheesh, Cloud's a jerk…" Shark said, "A little." Zeke nodded in agreement. "So, got any other costumes in mind?" Zeke asked.
"I'll see if I can think of other actors or characters for any new ideas." Shark said. "That's be cool. I can help if you want! There are tons of cool Pokemon outfit designs!" Zeke said. "Oh, but since we're making Final Fantasy characters, should we make some for the others?" Zeke could already imagine some of the characters his family might like. "I bet Dad would like Ardyn's outfit."
(More later)
"Hobie, my guy!" Zeke said, trying his best to sound Indian, "Got this one, mate!" Shark said, spraying silly string at Piranha! "Aww! Get your stupid webs off me, Spider-Punk!" Piranha said. "My turn!" Zeke said, shooting his own silly string at Piranha. "Okay, no fair, where's my bad guy partner when we play?" Piranha said, taking off a Hob-Goblin mask.
"You want a shot at playing Spider-Man?" Shark asked. "Yeah, I wanna be a Spider-Man, too!" Piranha said. Shark and Zeke played Rock Paper Scissors to see who's switching with Piranha! Loser ended up being Zeke, "Aww…" Shark smiled and went "Yes!" because of the victory and Zeke handed his Spider-Man mask to Piranha. "Aww yeah! Time to stick to walls, chico!" Piranha had said. Zeke and Shark laughed, they were having fun. After all this, they'd sleep good, having fun making cool outfits. Which Wolf scolded that they wouldn't use in public, of course.
(And here we are! I hope u guys liked this. Sorry I didn't do a Mother's Day bit, but I was already working on this one, and by the time I was finished, Mother's Day was over. Anyways, like I said, I might put this on hold until the sequel shows up, but I'll be working on some of these. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord:
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord.
