Chapter 5

Zamasu's attack on Shin was swift and ferocious, his power amplified by the stolen body of Gine. The air crackled with energy as he lunged forward, each movement a blur of speed and strength that seemed impossible for even the most skilled warrior to evade.

Shin, however, was not just any warrior. He was a god, and with a calm demeanor, he raised his hand, creating a barrier of light that intercepted Zamasu's furious assault. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the surrounding area, but Shin remained unmoved, his focus absolute.

"You cannot win this battle, Zamasu," Shin declared, his voice steady despite the chaos unfolding around them. "Your actions have consequences."

Zamasu, fueled by rage and a twisted sense of divinity, only laughed in response. "Consequences? I am beyond such petty notions! I am a god now, created by the Super Dragonballs!"

Gine and Raditz, still reeling from their previous encounters with Zamasu, watched the exchange with bated breath. They knew they had to act, but how could they possibly intervene against such overwhelming power?

"Mom, we can't just stand here!" Raditz exclaimed, his eyes darting between Gine and the ongoing confrontation.

Gine nodded, her mind racing for a solution. "We need to find a way to weaken him, to give Shin an advantage." She glanced around, her gaze falling upon the remnants of the forest they had fought in. The destruction was vast, but amidst the devastation, she saw potential.

"Raditz, help me channel our ki into the earth. We can use it to create a trap!" Gine suggested, her voice filled with urgency.

Raditz didn't hesitate. Together, they placed their hands on the ground, feeling the earth's energy beneath their palms. With focused intent, they began to manipulate the very soil itself, causing it to tremble and shift under Zamasu's feet.

Zamasu, caught off guard by the sudden instability beneath him, faltered for a moment. It was enough of an opening for Shin to retaliate. With a wave of his hand, he unleashed a torrent of energy that struck Zamasu squarely in the chest, sending him flying backward.

The impact was immense, but Zamasu quickly recovered, his eyes burning with a fierce determination. He roared in defiance, his body glowing with a sinister aura that seemed to grow stronger with each passing second.

"Enough of this!" Zamasu bellowed, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "I will show you the true power of a god!"

As he spoke, the air around him grew thick with dark energy, swirling like a vortex of shadow and malice. Zamasu lifted his hands, and from the depths of this darkness, a massive sphere of destructive force began to form.

Gine's heart sank as she realized the gravity of the situation. "Raditz, we have to stop him, now!" she cried out, fear mingling with desperation in her tone.

Without waiting for a response, Gine charged forward, her body engulfed in a blinding light as she pushed herself to her limits. Raditz followed close behind, his own energy matching hers, step for step.

Together, they collided with Zamasu, their combined might crashing against his defenses. The force of the impact was unlike anything they had experienced before, a cacophony of light and sound that threatened to overwhelm their senses.

For a fleeting moment, it seemed as though they had succeeded. Zamasu staggered, the dark sphere wavering in his grasp. But then, with a malicious grin, he steadied himself, his grip tightening around the deadly weapon he had created.

"You fools! Do you really think you can defeat me?" Zamasu sneered, his confidence restored. "Witness the end of your pathetic existence!"

With a final burst of energy, Zamasu hurled the dark sphere towards Gine and Raditz. Time seemed to slow as they braced themselves for the inevitable impact, their bodies tensed and ready to absorb the unimaginable force headed their way.

"Special Beam Cannon!"

A spiral beam came out of nowhere and hit Zamasu in the chest, knocking him back.

Both Gine and Raditz were shocked and relieved. They turn to face their unexpected savior.

It was Piccolo!

They both looked behind him and saw Gohan and the other Z-fighters helping the Supreme Kai up to his feet.

They were saved!
