"Hinata…are the rumors true?" Mikasa looked at and tilted her head. "What rumors?" "That…you're part of a gang now?"

A girl in the middle immediately shut that idea down. "Hinata's not going to be in a gang. What gang would she join?" "Well there's a new gang form, apparently they're called 'The Headless Angle' or Valhalla. And there's an old gang that's rising again. The Black Dragons and there's the Tokyo Manji Gang or Toman for short. Isn't your boyfriend in Toman?" The girl asked. Mikasa nodded. "See? It's her boyfriend." Another girl spoke up. "No, the rumors are right. I'm part of a gang now." Mikasa stood up collecting her things. School ended a while ago. She was going home.

"Huh? Which one?" "It's probably Valhalla." One girl said. "Why do you say that? Her boyfriend is the enemy gang if she joins Valhalla!" "No, it's because their #3 is here looking for her boyfriend." Mikasa perked up. "Where is he now?" "He's probably already gotten Takemitchi, they're probably leaving by now. That or he's already beaten Takemitchi." Mikasa ran to the exit of the school hoping to catch him.

Takemitchi was walking behind a boy along with 2 other boys with crutches. Kazutora stopped and looked at the girl who was standing in his way. Takemitchi's eyes widened. "Hina?!"

She walked up to Kazutora. "Who are you?" Kazutora smiled. "He is your boyfriend? Do you have a girlfriend, Takemictchi? Wow a year younger than me, in Toman and you have a girlfriend? Aren't you lucky?"

"I'm bringing your boyfriend to the Valhalla base. Don't worry nothing's going to happen to him. I swear it." Kazutora promised.

Mikasa stared at him for the longest time. They stayed there simply looking at each other. Kazutora swallowed a bit of his saliva as he started to feel uncomfortable with the intensity of her dull eyes. "No." Was all she said before walking past him and grabbing Takemitchi.

"H-Hina what are you doing?!" "He's not mentally stable. He has those eyes. Eyes I've only ever seen once on a person before. It didn't turn out well for him."

"Hina, I have to go!" "Why?" "Because I'm getting Baji back or Mikey's going to kill me." "Shorty's not going to do anything to you as long as I'm here."

"Hah?" Takemitchi looked towards Hinata to see if he heard her right. Did she just call Mikey…Shorty..?

"Hinata, even if he wasn't going to do that, I still want to get Baji back. I have to." He ripped his hand out of her grip and went back to Kazutora. She stared at her hand that was holding him with furrowed brows. It had been so long since someone had done that to her. And with such intense eyes, the only person she thought of was Eren. Takemitchi wasn't Eren, she didn't have to go this far for him. So why did she strive so much to protect him? She doesn't even like him…or does she? She didn't know anymore. The only thing that kept her was the promise she made to herself to give him a genuine chance. But if anything it felt as if she was trying more.

Takemitchi looked back to see Hinata looking at her hand, the one that held his own hand, with furrowed brows. She looked up at him with a confused expression. Finally, she looked away from him, and suddenly immense guilt crushed him. Was he too harsh with her? The only reason he's doing this is for her.

"Oi Chifuyu, our leaders over here, know," Baji called him out. "Huh?" Chifuyu turned to look at his long-time friend. "What are you talking about?" "You're eyeing Emma again." Baji clarified. "Oh."

"You seriously always choose the worst people to have a crush on y'know that." Baji looped an arm around him. Chifuyu blushed a bit. "I don't have a crush on her!" "Yeah? Then why are you always eyeing her like that?"

"Like what?" "Like you want her, know more about her…in every different way there is," Baji smirked at him. Chifuyu's face became red. "It's not like that!" He shook Baji's arm off of him and turned away to look at Emma again. "She just reminds me of someone else, that's all." Baji raised a brow. "Uh-huh. Anyways, Mikey's gotten himself a new toy. Look over there." Chifuyu turned to see a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He seemed meek. "I don't think he'll last." "No. You're wrong." Baji looked over to Chifuyu who was looking intently at Takemitchi. "He has determination. He'll make it far, you can see it in his eyes." "Chifuyu, stop talking like an old man." Chifuyu released a small 'oh' and then smiled at Baji. "I don't talk like an old man." "You do." Chifuyu looked at him and rolled his eyes. "Apparently he has a girlfriend too." "Who?" "Takemitchy you idiot." Chifuyu turned around to see a thin girl with rosy brown hair and brown eyes. However, she didn't have the eyes you'd expect a girl like her to have. Instead, she had dull eyes and was glaring at Emma. "Does she have beef with her?" Baji shrugged. "She's fucked if she had beef with the sister of Toman's leader." Chifuyu didn't pay any attention to Baji, instead, he looked at Tackemitchy's girlfriend. He shook his head and walked off with Baji.

The second time Chifuyu saw Takemitchy's girlfriend was when he caught her tripping in the fight on August 3rd. This time he could see her more closely. She looked delicate, so what was she doing in here? He observed as her eyes looked at him with a familiar feeling but just as quickly it was there it disappeared. "What are you doing here? You need to leave. You're going to get hurt." He spoke. She didn't say anything and instead nodded. He looked at her for a bit longer, narrowing his eyes just a bit before setting her back up and going away to fight another member of the Moebius. He kept his eye on her in the fight whenever he could.

Turns out she wasn't as delicate as she looked. She took down members with ease. The way she fought was rough and ending.

The next couple of days he told Baji about her, and how she didn't look like she could fight at all. He couldn't keep his mind off of her.

"Seriously." Baji deadpanned at him. Chifuyu stopped talking and looked at Baji. "What?" "You seriously choose the worst people to have a crush on Chifuyu." "I don't have a crush on her! I'm just telling you that I didn't expect her to know how to fight that well." "You've been talking about her non-stop for the past 2 days. She has a boyfriend, that boyfriend just happens to be Mikey's new toy and that toy saved Draken along with the girl. You have a better chance of going after Emma." Baji barked out a laugh.

"I told you it's not like that..she-" "Just reminds you of someone." Baji looked at him unamused. "I'm serious though. She really does." 'Oh yeah? Who?" Chifuyu stayed quiet. "Told you-" "A girl from my hometown." Chifuyu quickly said. Well, it wasn't a complete lie. Hinata really did remind him of someone from his hometown.

"She was a girl I really liked. But I was too driven by something else to ever admit it to myself." Baji looked over to his friend and right hand as he sat down on a nearby swing. "I realized too late I liked her as well." "Someone else got to her before you?" Baji asked, sitting beside his friend on the swing.

"Something like that. By the time I realized I liked her, I was too far deep into my goal for me just to give up on it. There was another boy, he liked her a lot. Since the moment he met her. I guess I always liked her, just never knew." Chifuyu laughed a bit to himself. "I mean he told her once, the first time he saw her that he liked her hair. I was right next to her when he said it. Outside making sure he could hear me, I told her to cut it off."

Baji laughed out loud. "No way. Were you actually that stupid?" Chifuyu smiled and nodded. "Did she cut it off?" Chifuyu nodded. "A girl actually cut her hair off for you?" Chifuyu nodded again. "I knew she liked me. She liked me a lot, but I didn't know until later. She was always so protective of me, like a mother y'know? So I thought she saw me as her little brother or something like that." Baji lifted a brow. "It was hard to tell. She was rough with me. I mean I got mad at one of my other friends who she was friends with too. He was only looking out for me but I was hot-headed."

"Was?" Baji interrupted him.

"I still am, but not as much as before. Anyways, I yelled at him, he was always sorta of the weak one out of all three of our whole friend group so I got mad whenever someone picked on him. This time we were beaten and he told me to calm down. I called him a name and she punched me in the face." "A girl punched you in the face?" Chifuyu nodded. "She gave me a bruise. She was always stronger, faster, more cool-headed than I ever was. If I were to ever fight her I have no doubt in my mind I would lose in seconds. Even now, I'm sure she would still beat me."

"She's that good?" Chifuyu nodded. "She was crazy strong. Against all of Toman, she would lose but not without taking out more than half. I even bet she'll be able to beat you."

"Hah? What'd you say?" Baji stood up. But stopped when he saw his friend. He wore a sad smile on his face. This girl must've been something to be having his friend look like this. "So? What happened?"

"Well… I wanted what was best for her. I was leaving anyway and I didn't want her to be hooked up on me. I wanted her to move on…so…I…" "Hurry up Chifuyu!" "I told her I hated her."

"What?" Baji yelled at Chifuyu. "I wanted her to be happy. So I told her I hated her." "How the hell was that supposed to make her happy!" "She would move on…" "Chifuyu! She would've moved on just fine."

"Are you still obsessed with her?" Chifuyu's head hung low while he nodded. "How long has it been?" "4 years." "You're the one who wouldn't have moved on. She needs to tell you that she hates you, Chifuyu." Baji laughed at him.

"Yeah…" "So she reminds you of her?" Chifuyu nodded his head. "You need a girlfriend. Maybe try going after her? Quench your thirst for that other girl." "Maybe..But she has a boyfriend." "So? Just go after her, I've never known you to stop just because someone was in your way. Just crush him just like you do to all your enemies. Keep moving forward. It's all you do, you're like a child who throws tantrums if he doesn't get what he wants" Chifuyu looked over to Baji but didn't say anything to retaliate.

After talking with Osonai, Takemitchi asked Chifuyu if they could make a quick stop, to which Chifuyu agreed.

Going inside a store Takemitchi bought flowers. "Huh? What are those for?" "They're for Hina. I think I may have been too rough while trying to get Baji back." Chifuyu held back a smile. "What's her name?" "Hinata. Tachibana Hinata." He picked out some purple and blue flowers. Chifuyu looked around, and he spotted some strawberries. He smiled to himself and bought some.

Mikasa was walking home when she heard two pairs of footsteps. She turned around. It was Takemitchi and that boy who caught her in the fight.

"Takemitchi." She acknowledged. "Hina. This is Chifuyu." Mikasa nodded and looked back towards Takemitchi then down at the flowers. "O-Oh…here, this is for you. It's an apology. I'm sorry, I had to go to Valhalla to try and get Baji back." Mikasa took the flowers and smelled them. They smelt like…well flowers. She never really understood why they were so liked. They didn't smell nice, they smelt like a plant. "Did you get him back?" Takemitchi stayed quiet. She looked back up at Chifuyu. The name sounded familiar, he too was looking at her. She looked away.

Takemitchi and Chifyuy walked toward Baji. "Thanks for coming on such short notice, Baji." "Chifuyu. You wanna get your ass beat again?" "I didn't fight back. Disregarding that…what the hell are you doing? Takemitchi and I have discovered that Kisaki is the head of Valhalla…But you must've already discovered that, Keisuke." Baji scowled at him. "Who the hell do you think you are to call me by my first name!?" Chifuyu and Baji had a stare-off. "You're a spy for Toman…right? You didn't actually betray us? Did you!?" Chifuyu's voice got increasingly louder. "The fights tomorrow, if you fail to be back on Toman's side…I'll destroy you…just like I do to all of my enemies."

"You would do that to someone who slept under the same roof as you? Eaten the same food as you?" Baji knew Chifuyu better than anyone else, he knew that if anyone got in Chifuyu's way he wouldn't hesitate to take them down. Even if he would lose. He's a stubborn brat like that. But he also knew that Chifuyu only came to confirm something, if anything they both knew each other better than the back of each other's hand. Chifuyu would never strike down a friend, not unless they were never a friend in the first place.

"I keep pushing forward…until I exterminate my enemies. You of all people should know that I've been like that since I was born, in this life, in the next, maybe even in the past, I will always remain the same…Keisuke." Takemitchi wanted to scream right now. The whole point was to get Baji back, not threaten to exterminate him.

"Chifuyu? Can I talk to Baji alone?" Chifuyu nodded and left.

Even though he was a good distance away, Chifuyu heard some of their conversation. "Don't die Baji." His breath hitched. No, there was no way Baji would die…Chifuyu wouldn't allow it.

As an official member of the gang, Mikasa could no longer avoid the gang meet-ups. It was going to be hard sneaking back inside of the house, his father would probably be home by then. Her phone rang in the elevator. "Mikasa, where are you?" "I'll be right there." That was all she said before hanging up. Running out she spotted Annie. She was wearing a black puffer jacket, a nude color sweater, and nude sweats to match and black shoes to match her jacket. Meanwhile, Mikasa was wearing loose mom jeans with 1 rip on each leg on the knee, along with a large black graphic T-shirt, a black sweater, and a black mask just to add to the secrecy. She wore her hoodie up so her hair wouldn't show.

Mikasa climbed onto her motorcycle and they left for the shrine.

They arrived both right on time as the meeting started. Both wore their hoodies so as to not stand out. The meeting didn't last long.

Nothing eventful really happened. On their way, Mikasa noticed a car similar to her father's. "Annie don't go too fast, there's a cop car behind you." Annie nodded and slowed down a bit just to be safe. They stopped somewhere not too far from her apartment complex. They watched as the car went in. "Shit. He's here."

"Well, good luck." Annie sped away. Mikasa sighed looking at the empty spot. She checked the time. It was 12:30 and there was no valid excuse as to why she was out so late. She quickly ran to the stairs. If she was fast enough she would make it there fast. Her mom was probably asleep right now, or that's what she hoped. Getting in quickly through the door, she pushed some boxes to slow him down a bit. She pushed the elevator button. She stood there with her finger tapping her arm waiting. She then ran to the door of the stairs and put some stuff in front of her to signal that it was off-limits. When she came back she heard shuffling of the door trying to open. She heard knocking. She swallowed hard and assumed it was her dad, so she didn't look back and just went into the elevator when it opened. She finally heard the door open.

She clicked the elevator closing button multiple times. Her heart was racing. Mikasa heard the running footsteps. It was closing and she caught a glimpse of her father asking to stop the elevator. She looked down fast and sighed as it closed just in time. She quickly pressed her floor number, she heard her father grunt in frustration.

As soon as she got to her floor she pressed all of the buttons to stall for as much time as possible. She had blocked off the stairs so he couldn't go up that way, she ran to her door then as quietly as she could she slipped inside and went to her room. She panted as changed quickly into sets of clothes that she would normally sleep in so that if her father came in, he wouldn't see those clothes. Just as she finished putting on her shorts the door opened.

Calmly and as softly as she could she slipped into bed and closed her eyes with a big smile. That was the most fun she had in so long.
