"No" Carissa more or less shouted and she saw how Jim quickly retreated his hand from the bowl where she had the cut ingredients and glared at the man "Honestly, it feels like I'm working with two kids" she glanced to Erik who was slowly stirring the strawberry sauce for the dessert. It wasn't exactly useful but he had insisted that he wanted to help so she had handed him a whisk and asked him to stir the sauce, which he happily did. "To be honest, I don't even get what you're doing here"

"Well, I heard someone was wanting to cook something and just had to come and watch"

"Oh okay. Does it remind you of something? Many people have good memories linked that have to do with watching someone cook"

"Yeah, I actually do. It also has to do with Christmas. Because my Mom often was off planet for most holidays but when she was here for Christmas she always cooked herself. It was like the only time of the year I didn't have replicated food"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be. Just, what makes you enjoy cooking so much? Isn't a replicator much easier?"

"I know but my parents own a restaurant… and I guess I've been helping them with easy things when I was even younger than Erik" when she looked back to her son, she saw that he was trying to lick the whisk again but stopped and quickly continued stirring with a sheepish smile when he saw her looking at him. "Well, I hope you don't mind he's had his mouth on almost every ingredient" she sighed

"Of course not. Nothing goes over a self-cooked meal. Can I ask you why exactly you do it? I mean you've never been to the kitchens before?"

"I don't know… I did it last year because I wanted Erik's first Christmas to be something special. And I thought I could also do it this year. Part of me wants to invite everyone who would be alone tomorrow… no one should be alone on Christmas"

"Yeah that really sucks"

"Did it happen in your childhood?"

"Well Uncle Frank was here most of the times… but he wasn't the best company. My Mom often wasn't home for Christmas. I only remember like five years she spent with us. In two years I've been all on my own" she smiled

"Well, you won't be alone this year, right?"

"I know. It still feels weird to know that Carol will be celebrating with our daughter at the other end of the galaxy."

"I'm sorry you never got to see her"

"It's not your fault"

"From what I've heard you have behaved impossible when I gave Erik in yours and Carol's custody, so she decided you wouldn't be a good father. So it kind of has to do with me"

"No. I was the idiot, I get the consequences"

"Has she at least sent you a photo? Of the baby?"

"Yeah, her name's Lauren" he grinned at Erik "Who knows, I might try to hook you two up when you're older" Erik blinked at him and absentmindedly tried to lick the cooking utensil again

"Heaven's sake Erik, if I catch you trying to lick it one more time you're not helping anymore"

"Sowwy" he whined and stirred again "sowwy, sowwy"

"Well, he does have manners"

"You can thank Spock for that" she chuckled "he'd do anything to impress his father"

"Seems so. I take it the three of you are going planet side tomorrow or on Sunday, right?" they were in orbit around an icy planet. Well not exactly icy, it looked like a nice winter landscape and since it was Christmas, they had decided to spend the weekend here and let some people beam down if they wanted some wintery atmosphere for Christmas.

"Yeah"

"Spock's spent half of Beta shift yesterday trying to find anything potentially harmful on the planet"

"Sounds like him"

"Sa-sa" Erik squealed

"Yes, Erik, we're talking about sa-mekh" she almost rolled her eyes because in the past few weeks he seemed determined to show everyone that he knew when either of his parents were mentioned. And not only when someone said their name, but also of someone referred to their ranks or position. Of course he had also learnt that not every 'Lieutenant' or every 'Science Officer' meant either of his parents so his tone would be more questioning.

"Sometimes I don't think he truly believes in the whole 'worry is illogical' mantra"

"It's just his form of showing that he cares about Erik's well-being"

"I think it's cute" he let out a sigh "sometimes I like to imagine what my father would've been like. I mean Mum did tell me what he was like with George"

"What about your uncle Frank?"

"An asshole. I would have liked it better to be alone rather than having him"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be"

"At times I just feel bad"

"For what?"

"That I had such a carefree childhood and two loving parents while both you and Spock had such family problems"

"No, what are you talking about that is nothing you should feel bad about. It is no one's fault things went like this. I just don't get how your emotions work sometimes" she chuckled

"You almost sounded like Spock a little. He says stuff with a similar meaning"

"Just a bit more complex"

"Yeah. Can I ask a personal question?"

"Sure"

"If your uncle was such a prat… why did your mother not leave?"

"He has given us a home, one we needed. So we had to stay" she wanted to reply something, when the oven beeped, showing that it was hot enough

"Could you put the tray in?" she asked, pointing at it with her elbow. "Middle"

"Of course" he opened the oven "Oh uh… there's another tray inside"

"Oh just take it out" he placed the tray he was holding down and went to remove the other one from the oven. She was just trying to tell him he had forgotten the heat-resistant gloves but Jim had already noticed himself. He let go of the tray and stumbled back

"Ow holy fucking shit"

"Are you okay?" she placed down the knife to go over to him

"Yeah I'm fine."

"You want me to get a medkit? Or Leonard?"

"I swear if you tell someone, I'll kill you"

"Holy fucky shid" they both turned to Erik who was grinning broadly while licking the whisk.

"Erik" Carissa said "You can't say such words. And stop licking that!"

"I can. Holy fucky shid. See?" she rolled her eyes. He was only 1.5 years old and was already correcting unprecise statements.

"Of course you're able to say them but it's not good to say them. That's not nice. I said do not lick the whisk. That's not nice either"

"He say" he pointed at Jim

"I know he said the words but he shouldn't say them either"

"Why say?"

"Because sometimes, when we get shocked or hurt we curse. It's easy to alleviate the pain a bit" Erik tilted his head and hit the whisk over his hand, splashing some of the strawberry everywhere.

"Holy fucky shid" he looked at her, then did it again

"What's he doing?" Jim asked

"Conducting an experiment to see if cursing actually helps with the pain. Erik stop. Don't hurt yourself" he gave a nod and continued stirring, humming 'Twinkle twinkle little star'

"He seems to like that song"

"Yeah. Though now that he's older, Spock tried to explain some of the songs to him or point out the illogical parts"

"That's hilarious" when she noticed it was silent she looked to Erik who must have dipped his hand into the sauce and was licking it off

"Erik!" she said, warningly, he looked at her

"Oopsie"

"Oopsie what? That you accidentally tipped your hand into the dessert or that I caught you?" he was sucking on his finger

"Both"

"An accident that his hand got dirty, my ass" Jim muttered

"Ass"

"No Erik!" Jim almost shouted "You can't say such things or your father will kill me" he looked at the man, frowning

"Ceppan?" he asked "Illosikah"

"Did he just call me illogical?"

"Uh-uh" she agreed with a grin.

"Bet Spock's been proud when he first said that word, huh?"

"Not really. Because he was trying to get him to bed and Erik kept insisting 'sleep illosikah'. He looked like he'd been betrayed and tried to explain why sleep was vital. Suppose it didn't help that I was cackling with laughter on the bed" Jim chuckled

"At times I wonder how you manage to put up with such a child"

"It are exactly moments like this that make you see over all the trouble. So that's it" she said and marched over to Erik to take the bowl away when she saw he had used her distraction to dip his hand in the strawberry sauce again and made him shriek. He tried to get out of her reach and hit himself in the face with the whisk in the process.

"Holy fucky shid" he exclaimed and tossed it against the table, with what he also managed to knock over the bowl with the sauce, it dropped half on him spilling a huge part of the content on him then fell to the ground "Yummy" he exclaimed and tried to jump of the chair, probably to eat the sauce off the floor. But he slipped on the mess on the chair and instead fell face forward off the chair. Although he managed to cushion the fall with his arms he was still screaming his head off. This only made her hurry closer even faster, making her slip on the sauce as well and she landed on her ass. Unfortunately, she had also kicked the bowl against her son, who let out an angry cry "Ass" he pushed the bowl away and crawled to his mother, wrapping his arms around her

"Oh dear. That's what you get for not listening" she muttered

"Hey are you two okay?"

"Yeah we're alive"

"Looks like someone's inherited someone's clumsiness"

"Wouldn't be the first time he showed that. He once was crawling out of his bed but tangled up his foot in the blanket and then fell out of it. Happened to me too by the way" she sighed and tried to pick her sticky son up "Come on, let's get you bathed"

"No" he screamed, slapping her chest

"Don't be ridiculous, we're both filthy"

"No. Yummy" he was putting his shirt in his mouth and started sucking off the sauce. She rolled her eyes

"Come on" she only said and picked him up, then looked to Jim "Could you make sure the kitchen doesn't burn down till I'm back?"

"Not sure I'm the right person for that"

"You're the Captain. Figure something out" she said after getting up and taking off her shoes that were full of strawberry sauce too because she didn't want to leave a trail on the ship.

"Pumme down" Erik protested

"No, you're dirty. I won't let you walk" in retrospective she had no idea how she managed to carry him to her quarters. But once she was there she couldn't hold him much longer because he had seen his father and was struggling in her arms until he finally bit her hand "Ouch Erik! Why did you bite me?"

"Sa-sa" he growled "Pumme down" Spock got up to scold his son for deliberately hurting her

"Are you injured?"

"No, it's just strawberry. And I'm quite glad Vulcans have green blood. Or otherwise I couldn't know if maybe he was bleeding beneath all the strawberry sauce"

"May I ask how it happened?"

"A mixture of Vulcan and Carissa genes" he raised an eyebrow "Well, he was disobeying me, so when I came towards him, he clumsily hit himself in the face with the whisk, then tossed against the bowl with such a force that he knocked it over and when it fell to the ground he wanted to go after it but slipped on the chair. Then I slipped on the floor" in her inattention, Erik had managed to free himself from her grasp and dropped to the floor, this time on all fours

"Fucky shid" he shrieked before he caught himself and waddled over to his father to hug his leg

"Ugh Erik, no, don't soil him too" she moaned, not knowing what she was supposed to say about the fact he just let himself fall from her arms. "Come on, time for a shower"

"No"

"Not a water one. A sonic shower"

"No"

"Erik, listen to your mother"

"No. I yummy" as if to prove it he was licking his hands again

"It would be unwise to try and eat all of the food on you"

"Yummy" Spock picked him up whereupon he too got a load of strawberry into his face, what seemed to amuse Erik and reduced him to a giggling mess. Without a comment, he carried him to the bathroom and took him to the shower. Almost instantly Erik started screaming and banging against the walls of the shower after Spock had closed the door.

"My God you could believe we're torturing him" Carissa muttered as she followed them to the bath and prepared a cloth to wipe the strawberry off her with water before getting changed. Of course she was quicker than Spock was with cleaning Erik and then the Vulcan had to face another of their son's tantrum because he insisted to wear his 'yummy clothes' again instead of new ones. "'Have a child' they said 'It'll bring you joy and laughter' they said. But no one told you it'll also cost you a great deal of nerves"

-oO0Oo-

The impromptu shore leave was just what she needed and she loved to see how Erik seemed happy in the snow and instantly was trying to build something.

"I do wonder if he'll still like it so much once the starts to be cold" she told Spock and kissed his cheek. "What about you anyways? I bet you haven't seen snow either that much"

"You are correct. It is the fourth time" she chuckled

"And I was four the first time I saw snow" she went closer to Erik "Hey, do you want me to show you how to build a snowman?"

"Snowman?"

"Yes" she formed a small ball of snow which she then started rolling on the floor while explaining how you did one.

"I want" he shrieked and tried to push the ball himself, which he then did with a row of happy sounds. When it got bigger, she had to help him again because he didn't have enough strength to do it.

"So, I think that's it for the body. Let's make the head"

"I do" he said and made a small ball which he started rolling on the ground until it got too big for him too so that she had to help him. She then carried the head to the other part and placed it on top of it. "Again?" Erik asked

"Of course, we can make a third one" she said, although she had only made two-parts snowmen before. Somehow, Erik wouldn't see why they had to make the third and last ball smaller than the others and luckily now Spock intervened to explain why a big form could destroy the whole snowman. "Besides, we also need to decorate him" she sat down to dig in the snow, wanting to see if there maybe were some stones or something they could use. Also Erik was digging but she doubted he knew what she was looking for, so she told him.

"I doubt you will find something else than snow for at least two meters" Spock said, making her look around

"Ah look, there are plants over there. Maybe we find something there" she said and went to dig at said place. But apparently that plant just was growing deep out of the snow she sighed and gave up. Then she considered it for a moment and ripped off two of the stalks, intending to use the leaves as buttons and the buds at the top as eyes. The mouth could be made with another stalk and the rest could be the hair. After she had explained her plan to Erik he was happily tearing away the leaves and was arranging them in a rather crooked line of buttons in the middle piece of the snowman.

"Ta-dah"

"That looks great" she assured him as she got to work on the mouth and then draped the rest of the plants on the head as hair. "There we go. Now we should have a carrot for a nose"

"A carrot?"

"Yes. The tradition wants it! I'm going back to the ship"

"I doubt they will beam you back solely that you may retrieve a carrot for your unproportional snow sculpture" she crossed her arms and pouted

"You don't like it"

"I solely fail to understand how it is supposed to represent a male being"

"Well sorry to inform you but last Friday we found a planet with beings that look exactly like this. Jim called them snowies" he raised an eyebrow

"I trust I would have heard about such a discovery"

"Meh fine, but if we ever find such a species you owe us an apology"

"Us?"

"Me, Erik and the snowman"

"I am certain your snowman has not taken offence at my words and I apologize should you or Erik have done so" she chuckled and pressed a kiss to his cheek

"You know one second you sound very mean and the next second I could hug you to death because you're being too cute"

"Why should you wish to kill me in such a case?"

"Not wanting to kill you. But just hug you so tight"

"I doubt you possess the strength to perform a lethal hug"

"You mean me specifically or humans in general?"

"I am certain that most humans would not be able to crush a Vulcan's body"

"Well that's good" she chuckled and pressed him close against her "Then I can do this without fearing to hurt you" she buried her face in his jacket.

"However, what concerns the snowman's olfactory organ, I believe that our son has found a suitable replacement for the root vegetable you wished for"

"Huh?" she turned around and saw that Erik had formed a small ball which he had pressed into the middle of the snowman's face. And it seemed like now he was trying to fabricate ears in the same way but seemed to get frustrated about something why he angrily kept tossing the balls to the ground before making a new one. She took a wild guess and suggested he wanted to give him pointed ears but couldn't quite get the shape right. "Aw poor baby" she muttered and was walking to her son, when she felt a sharp pain at the back of her head and then something cold against her neck. She whipped back around "Spock! Did you throw a snowball at me?"

"No, I would not deliberately throw an object at you with the intent of hitting you" she rolled her eyes

"Then whoever that was is dead" she looked around and started climbing the small steep to look over it. And then she saw two figures running away. She was pretty sure that one of them was the Captain "Oi!" she shouted

"I'm sorry Cass" Leonard shouted "I wanted to hit Spock not you, I swear" she growled and picked up a handful of snow, trying to hit either of them but failed

"Missed!" Jim shouted

"That's it. You're both disinvited from my self-cooked Christmas dinner"

"No. We'll make it up to you!" she chuckled

"Then both of you stuff a snowball into the back of your jacket" they both did it, making her laugh "The things people do for self-cooked food" also Spock had joined her by now and Erik was climbing to them as well. Probably before he could determine what was going on, Spock too got a snowball right to his face

"Yass. Finally"

"I cannot understand human's amusement of launching balls of snow at each other"

"We call that a snowball fight" Jim explained "Care to join us?"

"I find it illogical to willingly join a fight I am not involved in"

"It's a game" Carissa said "you play in opposing teams and try to hit each other. Sometimes you also build yourself a small cover and get yourself a replenishment of snowballs"

"Come on. Two against two" Leonard

"What about Erik?" Carissa asked "I don't want him to get hit"

"Let him come too. But if someone hits him by accident they instantly lose"

"Or he's the king and both parties try to get him and protect him because they want him"

"Hmm" she turned to Spock "What do you say? It will be fun"

"I fail to see the logic in such a game"

"It's a game. Most games aren't logical. Just put logic aside, just this once. It's Christmas"

"Technically, Christmas is in two days"

"Well then it's Christmas soon"

"Come on Spock. Or else we'll just recruit Carissa and search for other people that help us. You can be the referee and count the points. Or are you not coming either?"

"Hell I'm in" she said running down the hill to join the other two and saw Erik running after her. But he stumbled and then tumbled down the rest of the slope "Oh God" Carissa muttered, hurrying towards him and she reached him a little before Spock did. "Are you hurt?" the question was redundant, as Erik's laughter shortly after told her

"Again"

"How dare you scare me like this?" she muttered, pressing him against her body.

"Hi there, you wanna be in our snowball fight?" Erik looked at his godfather

"I don't think he understands" Jim said and went to his knees

"You know, we're playing a game. Would you like to join?"

"Play" he eagerly nodded

"But I told you I don't want him involved or getting hit"

"We'll build a fort and he can be with you and producing your refill of snowballs. Under the condition that we get him for the next game, for fair chances"

"Okay, good. But if he's feed up he can leave at any time"

"Sure. What about you Spock? Made up your mind?"

"I suppose I shall give your game a try"

"That's the spirit, Spock" Jim patted his arm and took out his communicator "Sulu, if you and Tyler want to come, we're going to make a snowball fight. Or if you know two or four more people that want to come, take them with you too"

"We're coming. Who else is playing?"

"Bones, Carrie and Spock"

"Oh okay. We're on our way" Jim ended the call and looked at the couple.

"I suppose you'd like to be together, on a team, right?"

"Yes" Carissa said, grabbing Spock's arm "Because he's just told me he could never willingly throw something at me to hit me"

"You old romantic"

"I do not see why I should choose to hurt my mate willingly"

"You're not hurting her. Did the snowball hurt?"

"It was unpleasant and I do not wish to be a source of my wife's uncomfortableness" Jim shook his head

"You love her, we get it"

"It would be illogical not to do so" Leonard rolled his eyes

"Could we focus on the rules?"

"Shouldn't we wait 'til the others are here?"

"First come first served. They just have to play by our rules. Okay, before the game starts each time has ten minutes to prepare. To build a fort and produce some snowballs"

"Are we playing with points or deaths?" Carissa asked

"Points" Leonard said

"What gives how many points?"

"A shot to the heart three, anywhere else one point. Except for the face, that is a deduct of three points. Oh and hitting Erik deducts five points"

"If you would clarify which location of the heart you were referring to"

"Good question"

"Let's make it correct and say that both is possible. Wherever the heart is on the person"

"Fair enough"

"How do we count?"

"How do you mean that?"

"Well does each one count how many times you were hit or do you count how many points you scored"

"The latter"

"Am I right to conclude that in case I hit a member of my team the respective amount of points is deducted from mine?"

"Correct"

"Hm then you could theoretically hit your teammates in the face and subtract minus three points, ergo plus three" Leonard said

"Yeah but if it was an actual game to life and death it would still kill your teammates" Carissa countered

"What if Erik hits one of us?"

"That doesn't count or deduct anything" not much later, Sulu and Tyler Stiles, the new navigator who had taken over for Chekov since they continued their journey, joined them. "Alright" Jim said "Let me just give you the rules we agreed on" then they split up in teams, respectively asked Sulu and Tyler which teams they'd like to join, so Sulu was with Carissa and Spock and Tyler with the others. "Okay, ten minutes for both teams to prepare. I don't want to see one snowball flying before that time" they instantly went to work and started stacking up snow to build something like a wall. Erik was meanwhile producing some snowballs which he too stacked up a little

"You're doing fine, honey" Carissa assured him "How do we do it? Will someone be here to watch our stock? Or are we all out on the field"

"It would make sense if someone was here and made more snowballs" Sulu said

"Good. I can do that?"

"If you want"

"Spock?" he looked at her and gave a nod

"It would be preferable to know you are out of harm's way"

"Geez, it's just a game" she snickered "No need to worry about me" she moved closer to peck his temple. "But I have nothing against you getting protective" they built in silence for another couple of minutes

"How much longer?"

"2.4 minutes" Spock replied

"You guys wanna come up with a plan or just see how it goes?"

"Let's try to make a plan" Sulu said "So their shelter is like…" he checked quickly "five to ten meters away?"

"I suppose it are eight, actually"

"Good let's say eight" Carissa agreed "You think it is a good idea to split up?"

"Probably. We could cover a bigger field and are not such an easy target"

"I concur"

"How's your aim, Spock?" Sulu wanted to know

"I have never attempted to put it in relation, however on a distance from twenty meters I am able to hit an unmoving target with probability of 97%. In this situation, however, it is important to consider the fact that the targets are moving, however, the…"

"Okay you know how to aim, from a distance. I'm better at close-up fights, so I thought I get closer than you"

"That sounds great"

"What if we used Erik as someone to carry new snowballs to you onto the field?"

"This would put him at risk of being hit by accident"

"But he still could be useful to deliver the snowballs" Sulu said and Carissa looked to her son

"Erik? When sa-mekh and Sulu leave, would you like to go after them to bring them new snowballs or stay here and watch the ones me made?"

"Uh… sa-sa" he replied

"There, we can just see, if he wants to go he goes if not, I'll go" she squeezed Spock's arm.

"Okay" Jim shouted a bit later "Game starts in… three… two… one. Go" Erik shrieked and clung to his mother when Spock and Sulu both jumped over the fort they had built

"Come on, let's make more snowballs, shall we?" Erik nodded and was soon forming more of them mumbling happily to himself.

"Carissa" she heard Sulu shout "More snowballs, quick"

"Will you bring Sulu some?" she asked and handed him five snowballs. Erik nodded and hurried off. She chuckled when she saw that he dropped two and in the end handed them to his father before hurrying back to pick up the ones he had lost, which he actually brought to Sulu "Well at least that settles that he loves his father" she chuckled. Suddenly, she was grabbed from behind and a hand was clasped over her mouth. Out of instinct, she was trying to break free

"Stop struggling" it was Tyler's voice "I'm just here to relieve you of your stock" now also Jim appeared and grabbed the snowballs she and Erik had made in the past minutes before grinning at her

"Sorry and thank you" he said before attempting to flee unseen but he was hit square in the chest by a snowball. Jim instantly threw three back and Tyler got up, holding Carissa in front of him like a shield

"Shoot me, I dare you" he said as he began to kick against the wall they had built to destroy their little fort.

"Spock do something" Carissa whined. Her husband was looking at her and seemed to weigh his chances he had to hit Tyler without hitting her

"Suddenly not so bold anymore?" Tyler sneered and stepped over the remainders of the snow-wall, obviously intending to use Carissa as a shield until he was back at his own place. Also Jim joined them and hid behind her.

"Help me" she moaned in playful despair. Behind Spock, she saw Erik looking at her

"Ma-ma" he cried and was running towards them and more or less stepped into Tyler's way "Ma-ma" he demanded, crossing his arms. When the Lieutenant made no move, Erik seemed to get angry and he started pounding his fists against his legs

"What is wrong with that child?"

"He's just trying to protect me. He doesn't know the difference between a game and reality in all cases" she explained "Sweetheart, it's okay I'm just playing. Acting"

"That's cheating. If he wasn't there I wouldn't need to let you go and could just... ahh" he cried out and everyone looked to Erik who was biting the man's leg. At least he let go of Carissa

"Hey, I'm fine little one" she assured her son who still didn't let go and only let out a growl as he seemed to bury his teeth further into the man's skin "Erik stop" as it seemed Tyler was pretty pissed and when shaking his leg didn't seem to bother Erik he grabbed him by the hair to remove his head from his leg. Erik let out a shriek and held his head. "Oi" she protested "Don't be so rough on him"

"That little bastard bit me. That hurts like fucking hell" Spock and Sulu approached them as well

"I know he did and I'm sorry. But he's just a child and thought I was in danger. And Vulcans just have a tendency to get protective over their loved ones if they don't control their emotions"

"Then make him control his emotions"

"It shall be Erik's choice whether he chooses to do so when he is older. However, I too apologize for his actions, should he have caused you inconvenience"

"What's that supposed to mean? The brat bit me. Do you think that doesn't hurt? Teach him some manners"

"Look, I know he hurt you but as I said, he's not able to determine if I'm actually in danger or not. Erik, please tell Tyler that you're sorry for hurting him" when she looked to where her son was, she gasped. He wasn't there. "Erik?" she shouted and broke away from Tyler to look for him. She saw him running towards the abyss, obviously crying "Erik stop" she shrieked and found herself hurrying after him. "Stop, you're gonna fall down" although he wasn't the fastest, he still was too much ahead and she thought that she probably couldn't get to him in time. Then she saw Spock and Sulu beside her and also Leonard and even Tyler were running after her son.

"Come back, beanie" Leonard shouted but Erik still didn't listen

"Erik, you're gonna fall. Stop running!" as it seemed, he finally had noticed that it was going down (no one knew how deep) and he stopped at the edge

"Ma-ma" he said, sounding full of fear

"It's okay. We'll come and get you" she saw how Spock had slowed down and was approaching him "Sa-mekh is gonna get you, okay? Just don't move" there were a few things in the world you didn't want to see as a mother. Your child standing at the edge of a snowy slope was one of them. But even worse was seeing the snow giving in and resulting in making your child fall. "Erik!" she screamed and hurried towards the abyss as well.
