Author's Note- Hey guys, Steven here! Apologies for my long absence, but Fanfiction has been really screwy lately and I haven't been able to post or update.

Thankfully the problem finally fixed itself, and I even came up with a few things. In fact, here's a little something I thought of, let me know what you think.

"There you have it, another wonderful season full of pain and misery." Chris began, a twinge bit sad that the reboot's scheduled seasons were already over. "But no matter how hard we try...it always ends in someone happy." Chris slumped over, the sounds of celebration in the background.

"Okay Chris, just say some quirky goodbye then collect your paycheck." Chris mentally told himself. "Well hopefully we can change that...on the NEXT season of Total...Drama...Island!" Chris exclaimed, the cameras shutting off. "Darn it! Force of habit, I'm just so used to...hey, I'm sure nobody will pay it any mind. Everyone's brains are so rotted by the internet nowadays, some offhand comment will slip right on by." Chris shrugged it off.

It then smash cut to Chris sitting in a boardroom, in front of a frustrated man in a suit. "...We're not happy, McLean...not happy." He said. "L-Look, it was out of habit. I closed out previous seasons pretty much the same way-" "I personally don't give a rats ass what you did." The man interrupted Chris.

"It's the creators, now they're scrambling to either course correct, or scrounge up something for another season. Remember, the marketing said TWENTY-SIX half hours. Not thirty-nine, fifty-two, or even a hundred." The man explained. Chris responded by sheepishly rubbing his head.

"Now if their IS another season...you're clearly hosting it. As for your Co-Host..." The man began, and then the door opened, revealing the familiar Chef Hatchet. "Alrighty, I got my best suit on, my schedule's clear, and I'm ready to be a star!" Chef exclaimed...before looking at Chris, then he just looked angry.

"Hey, y'all said I was gettin' my own spin-off show!" Chef yelled. "Well we lied...welcome back for hopefully the last time." The man said.

It proceeded to cut to two Network Employees, sitting in a car in someone's driveway. "Okay, let's go through it one more time. We deliver these letters to the contestants, then we leave." The first Employee explained. "*nods* Got it." The second one agreed. They then proceeded to exit the car and knock on the front door of the house.

Soon, a middle-aged woman wearing aerobics gear answered the door. "Can I help you?" "Yes, we're from The Fresh Network, and we have a message for your daughter." The first Employee answered, handing the woman a letter, and then the two employees left. The woman walked back inside and to the living room, where a muscular teenage girl with a ponytail was also doing aerobics.

"Evelyn, sweetie, there were some men at the door, they left something for you." The woman gave her daughter the letter, which she started to read. "...Well, it's about damn time they asked me to come back!" The rage filled/determined voice of Eva shouted.

The Employees were now walking through a loud dance club. "Are you sure he's here!?" Employee #2 shouted. "That's what his parents said!" Employee #1 responded. The two walked through dozens upon dozens of ravers and partygoers, until they reached the DJ booth, where a boy with an unnatural amount of hair was operating it.

Employee #2 just tossed the letter into the booth and the two began making their way out. The boy saw the letter, stopped moving his mouth and ACTUALLY switched the music on, and picked up the letter. *crowd gasping sounds* *victory fanfare noises* "Jackpot!" Beardo excitedly said.

Beardo

Next the two Employees were sitting inside a fancy-looking house. "Now this one may take a bit of convincing...so let me do the talking." Employee #1 said. Shortly after that, a blonde girl with bright green streaks in her hair entered the room. "So...Total Drama is coming back for me?" She asked, arms crossed.

"Now Ms. Milton, we know you're mad about the whole "You got turned into a giant, near-brain dead mutant" thing. But we have a very good reason as to why you should come back." Employee #1 explained. "Really? I'm all ears then." Dakota said. "...My associate will explain everything." Employee #1 said, completely passing the buck.

"Uh...*clears throat* Miss Dakota, there is no Toxic Waste, or dangerous planes, or mutated wildlife. It's just a safe, cookie cutter reality TV experience. And one that will no doubt be better than anything you had to handle...including radiation-removal treatments." Employee #2 gave as heartfelt an explanation he could muster.

"Look, I'll join the dumb show! Just stop being all sappy...only my boyfriend can be sappy!" Dakota exclaimed. "Alright cool, catch you soon." Employee #1 handed Dakota a letter, and both Employees walked out.

Dakota

The Employees were now standing on someone's front porch. "To make this encounter a little easier...let's just slide the invite through the mail slot." Employee #2 said, before sliding said invitation through the slot. The letter hit the floor, and was soon picked up by a relaxed looking man.

"Hezekias, you got some mail!" He shouted. A tall, chill boy with a prosthetic leg, and holding a soda walked up and grabbed the letter. "I got mail? Sweeet...what's in it?" Zee asked. "I dunno, it's your mail not mine." "Ohh, that makes WAY more sense, Pops." The two conversed. Zee then opened the letter and read it.

"Hey, I'm invited back for another season...nice!" Zee took a sip of his soda as celebration.

Zee

The Employees were now standing at someone else's front door. They wanted to continue the strategy from last time and slid the invitation through the door...but this house didn't have a mail slot, so they were forced to knock. And soon a disheveled girl with light blonde hair and a beauty mark answered the door.

"What the hell do you two dickwads want?" She rudely asked. "Yes, we're here to drop these off. They're for a Ms. Amy and-" "DON'T!" She cut them off and took the letters, closing the door afterwards. The girl was looking at the letters with a vengeance. "Hey, did they say we both had mail?" A second female voice asked from behind the first.

"...Take them both, SAMEY!" She threw the letters at her sister and stormed off. And Sammy just sighed at how far from grace Amy had fallen.

Amy and Sammy

Next the Employees were looking up at a treehouse is someone's backyard. "They said she'd be back here but...I don't see nobody." Employee #1 commented. "Maybe she's hanging out with some animals? That's what her type like doing. Right?" Employee #2 asked.

"Let's just tape it to the tree. We in agreement?" "I agree." "Yes, all this searching has become quite tiring." Employees 1 and 2 turned to see that a short, pale girl had miraculously appeared beside them. "How did...we looked...?" "Here, take the letter." The Employees gave their reactions and promptly left.

"Hm...their auras are very puzzling right now." Dawn commented.

Dawn

It next cut to the two Employees at a small music venue. They handed the letter to someone, left, then that someone handed the letter to a boy tuning a guitar. "Here, it's for you." The guitar player grabbed it and began reading it. "They...actually want me back?" He asked nobody in particular.

"I...need to go, to make things right once and for all..." Trent said with determination.

Trent

The Employees were sitting in someone else's living room, and sitting across from them was a chubby girl with blonde hair tied up in a ponytail. "Okay, Ms. Carmichael. We'll get right to this...we want you for the next Total Drama season." Employee #2 said. "Hold up, for reals? Oh my God this is so..." Emma trailed off.

"Wait, how do I know this isn't a ploy to stir up more drama with my ex?" Emma asked with crossed arms. "Emma, let me assure you, that isn't the reason at all. People all over the forums have wanted to see how you would do on your own, because a lotta people want to see what Emma can accomplish." Employee #2 explained.

"That's good enough for me!" Emma exclaimed, also proceeding to get up and start dancing. "Wow...it really is just like watching a car crash in slow motion." Employee #1 commented.

Emma

Next the duo were at a farm in the middle of...somewhere. "So, you want my boy to compete on your program again?" A tough-looking man asked. "That's...exactly what we want, yes." "He didn't get far last time, but he could win a LOT of money this time around." The Employees responded.

"...Rodney! Get your ass out here!" The man yelled, and a big boy with orange hair came running. "Yeah Dad, what's the problem?" Rodney asked. "Pack up your stuff, boy. You're headed back to civilization." Rodney's Dad ordered. "Uh, yes sir, you got it!" Rodney exclaimed.

Rodney

Next on the list, the Employees approached the front door of a plain looking house. "Okay, just an in and out." Employee #1 said. But just then, a small mechanical claw came out of the doorbell, and grabbed the letter, taking it away. "...Nevermind then." Employee #1 commented.

The letter passed through an intricate chain of mechanisms and contraptions. Before eventually landing in the hands of a large black boy wearing a backwards baseball cap. "..." B began reading the letter. "..." B smirked in satisfaction, clearly happy at a second chance.

B

Next the Employees were sitting in someone's driveway again. "*sigh* Look, I'm not really up for confronting THEM...so I'm just gonna..." Employee #2 folded two letters into a big paper airplane and threw it into an open window. The paper plane landed on a pink carpet, and was picked up by a girl with tan skin.

"Sadie look, Total Drama wants us on the next season!" Katie exclaimed. "OMG, it feels like it's been like...fifteen years since we actually competed!" Sadie joined in. "This'll be so exciting!" "I know!" "*SQUEAL*" The BFFFLs both shouted with excitement.

Katie and Sadie

"Okay, this one shouldn't be too hard." Employee #1 commented, before sliding the letter under the door. The letter slid beneath the door, and was picked up by an Indian woman. "Rajesh!" She shouted. A tan boy wearing a hockey jersey soon appeared. "Yeah Mom?" Raj asked.

Raj's Mom handed him the letter and walked away. "Let's see here..." Raj ripped open the envelope and read the invitation. "Aw sweet! One more chance for this guy!" Raj pointed at himself with a smile. And then suddenly...Wayne walked into the room. "Hey Raj, is that what your Mom called you for? What is it? Is it good? *gasp* It's not bad is it!?" Wayne asked.

Raj

Now the Employees were standing at the front desk of a modeling agency. "Just make sure he gets it, tell him it's from The Fresh Network." Employee #1 said, as he gave the letter to the receptionist. A brief montage of the letter getting passed around began to play out. Until it reached the hands of a VERY handsome boy with absolutely perfect hair.

"Another Total drama season huh? And here I thought they'd bring back those freak shows for a third time." Justin read the letter, finding a way to compliment himself. "And hey, it's about time some real beauty was injected back into the game." Justin shrugged as he prepared for his next photo shoot.

Justin

The next place the Employees went to was a weird one. At first it started as a normal house, but then they were directed downstairs to what appeared to be a bomb shelter. "...Dude, I don't like this. Let's just toss the invite and leave." Employee #2 suggested.

"I...okay, I agree. Let's just-" "What...the hell...are you doing here...?" A rough-yet-feminine voice called out from behind them. The Employees turned around and saw a very pissed off girl wearing army clothing. "Uhh...we...this?" Employee #1 handed her the letter, before cutting to them leaving the house with several bruises.

It then briefly cut back to the girl. "*scoffs* Competing on that god awful show again? Going on there has been nothing but bad decision after bad decision!" She shouted, before slowly looking at a picture of her seemingly on a date with a big guy in a blue shirt.

"...Damnit Axelle, don't second guess yourself!" Axel said, already looking over the details of the invitation.

Axel

Next it showed the Employees approaching an apartment complex. "Okay, which mailbox is hers...?" Employee #2 was looking through the names listed on a form. "Oh! It's right over here." Employee #1 pointed to a set of mailboxes, specifically one on the far right.

They dropped off the letter, and decided to leave without confrontation. And a while later, a girl with a fair complexion opened the box, grabbed the letter, and began reading it. "Oh my good golly gosh! I'm being given another shot at Total Drama? Oh this is such wonderful news that I must sing about it!" She exclaimed.

But first she looked around to make sure nobody could complain about it. "There are many...kinds of news...but the the best, is not just any." Ella sang as she walked back to her door.

Ella

Now the Employees were standing in the backyard of a pretty nice house, but more specifically...approaching a boy wearing a red tracksuit sleeping in a hammock. "*ahem* Excuse me, Tyler?" Employee #1 asked. "Ugh...yeah?" Tyler groggily replied. "We'll make this short...how'd you like to compete in Total Drama again?" Employee #2 also asked.

"...Alright, good deal." Tyler yawned and nodded his head. "Uh great, here's the info." Employee #1 said, handing Tyler the letter, and leaving with his partner. Tyler, seemingly realizing what just happened, began shaking himself awake. "Wait, what did I just sign up for!?" He exclaimed to himself.

Tyler

Next up, the Employees were waiting inside a fashion salon. "Why are the waits always so long here?" Employee #1 commented. Meanwhile Employee #2 was mindlessly reading a tabloid magazine. The duo was soon called back to a semi-break room, where a boy with a buzz cut was waiting for them.

"Greetings, can I help you gentlemen?" He asked. "Brick McArthur, I presume?" "You'd be correct in your presumption." Brick nodded. "Brick, we're from The Fresh Network. And we want you for Total Drama's next season." Employee #1 explained. "I...you mean...wow." Brick was actually taken off guard with the news.

"You don't gotta decide on the spot, the competition isn't for a while. But this letter contains information on like, where to go, and when to do it. Just basic stuff, you know?" Employee #2 explained, handing Brick the letter, and shortly afterwards leaving with the other Employee.

Brick looked at the letter for a moment, before reaching into his pocket, pulling out his dog tags, and putting them on. "This competition is going to be fair and competitive!" Brick pumped a fist.

Brick

It then cut to the Employees knocking on the front door of a house. "Okay, so SHE lives here apparently. So let's just try to act professional, give the letter, and dip." Employee #2 said. Soon after though, a pale-skinned boy with black hair in his early twenties opened the door. "Hello? Is there something I can help you with?" He asked.

"...Letter for Scary Girl!" Employee #2 handed the boy the letter, then the two employees ran back to their car. The boy merely shrugged, closed the door, and walked into the living room. Where a pale-skinned girl with black hair was laying on the couch and playing with a black cat.

"Lauren, you got mail." The boy tossed the letter to Lauren, and left. "Thank you!" She exclaimed, before reading the letter. "Hmm...well, here we go again." Lauren sighed, before cutting to her digging through her bedroom closet. She soon pulled out a strange dark purple dress, a few gothic accessories, and some purple hair dye.

"Well...looks like it's time to give the Scary Girl persona another go." Lauren commented.

Lauren

Next, the Employees dropped off a letter to a house at some boujee neighborhood. A man picked it up and brought it to a blonde girl sitting at a fancy table. "Here honey, something came for you." The man said. "Oh, thanks Daryl!" She took the letter and began reading.

"You're welcome...also it's pronounced Dad, not Daryl." The man corrected. "*squeal* I get to be on TV again!" She exclaimed. "Good job, Lindsay. That would be...five times?" "I...think so?" Lindsay and her equally as airheaded Dad began thinking about something that should be common knowledge in the family.

Lindsay

The Employees were now approaching another farm. "Now, I wouldn't be surprised if this one told us to just screw off." Employee #1 began. "I agree...Total Drama did screw him up for a couple years." Employee #2 agreed. "Let's just go in there, but just expect the worst..." employee #1 knocked on the door.

It proceeded to cut to a boy with sharp teeth, green blotches on his skin, and wearing a dark blue toque. "Heck yes I want to compete again!" Ezekiel exclaimed. "Oh...are you sure?" Employee #2 asked. "Yeah homes, I ain't hardly been out much since the "De-Feralization" or whatever. I want to do some stuff!" Ezekiel answered.

"...Okay, here's all the information and...the show starts this summer." Employee #1 handed the letter to Ezekiel, and the duo of Employees soon left. "This is gonna be the best summer ever!" Ezekiel shouted.

Ezekiel

The Employees slid the next letter through a mail slot, and walked away. After a bit, the letter was picked up by a boy with well-styled hair, and whose clothes looked awfully similar to a certain Reality Show Host. "Well well well...I guess Chris really did need me in some way after all." The boy said, looking around at a bunch of destroyed Chris McLean merchandise (most of which was clearly bootleg).

"It's time to give the world the new and improved Topher Experience!" Topher exclaimed.

Topher

Now the Employees were standing inside a science classroom. "What do you say? People have been saying that you've been robbed...twice!" Employee #2 asked. "No way! I've dealt with sharks, large animals, manipulation, and worst of all I was almost pounded into paste by a psycho girl!" Damien exclaimed.

"Well, the best I can offer you is that Julia and MK won't be here this time. Actually, a lot of villains won't be here...you know who people like Heather and Alejandro are, right?" Employee #1 asked. "Who?" Damien replied. "The point is that this season will be a lot safer, and we promise that." Employee #1 said, secretly crossing his fingers behind his back.

"...I'll think about it, alright?" "Cool, and you got it." The Employees left, leaving the letter with Damien. "*scoff* Safer...as if." Damien muttered.

Damien

The Employees were now on a brief tour of America for the final contestants. First, they were standing outside an apartment in New York. "Ugh, why'd she have to move countries?" Employee #1 groaned. "Let's just get through this." Employee #2 encouraged. As the duo got up to the door, they could hear shouting coming from the other side.

"What in the-" Suddenly, a half-naked guy was literally thrown out the front door. Along with a bunch of clothes, all due to an angry girl with very tan skin and thick hair. "And don't you go disrespectin' the pouf anymore either!" She shouted like a stereotypical New Jersey girl.

"And what do you two fruit cups want?" She asked with crossed arms. "...Invitation to the next Total Drama season. That is all, nothing more and nothing less." Employee #2 answered, before the two slowly backed away from the apartment. "Total Drama...? Hmph, maybe that sexy Vito guy'll make a little comeback?" Anne Maria smirked at her own fantasy.

Anne Maria

And now the two Employees had driven all the way to Northern Minnesota, to some small town, and were standing in front of a small house. "*shivering* Jesus, why's it so cold? I feel like I'm gonna get frostbite!" Employee #2 exclaimed. "Oh no...we had to turn on the car's heat and put a coat on. This isn't Siberia!" Employee #1 scolded.

The Employees knocked on the door, and a middle-aged woman with blonde hair answered. "Yes, can I help ya?" She asked with a Midwestern accent. "Excuse me...are you Mildred Stacy Andrews O'Halloran?" Employee #1 asked. "Yes I am...who's asking?" Mildred narrowed her eyes.

"We are from The Fresh Network, and we want you to join the next Total Drama season." Employee #2 answered. "...Not interested, I ain't no celebrity anymore. I just want to live a relaxed life in my hometown for a while..." Mildred explained. "Here's the thing, we're not asking "Blaineley Madam" the TV celebrity to join. We're asking Mildred to join...think it over." Employee #2 said, handing the letter to Mildred, then he and his accomplice went back to the car and left.

"Should I...? One last chance for a comeback?" Mildred pondered the question.

Mildred

And then finally, it cut to Chris standing on the ever-familiar Camp Wawanakwa. "I didn't really expect to be standing on this dock again." Chris said. "And I didn't think I'd be playing second fiddle to a B-List celebrity again." Chef snarked. "Hey, ever since we blew up the budget on World Tour all that time ago, the network's done nothing but half-length seasons to make up for it." Chris looked on the positive side.

"Let's hope so, because I had to cancel a lotta things this summer..." Chef said. "I mean, it's not like this one little blunder I said on live TV will cause the network to create a full-blown 26 episode season...right?" Chris asked. "..." Chef remained quiet, as that's definitely something the network would do.

"...Right?" Chris begged.
