Ch. 8: The Acne Celebrity
The Wartwood's Farmer's Market is full of business today and frogs are buying and selling.
"Fresh crickets, ma'am? Always fresh." A merchant said to a frog woman.
"Worms, we got worms!" Another merchant said.
"Are these grubs organic?" An elderly female merchant said.
Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku were walking around as they were exploring the place. Crash starts to get tired as starts to yawn loudly.
"You starting to get tired, Crash? We've only been walking for about 5 minutes." Coco told him.
"So, why are we here, Coco? You haven't explained that to us yet." Aku Aku said.
Coco said, "The Planters told me that they have a stand here and asked me to take a look, so I decided to bring you guys with me."
"I know you promised them, but shouldn't you be busy finding more crystals?" Aku Aku asked.
"I checked my computer when we came here and found nothing. Getting Anne home is gonna be harder than I fought." Coco said.
As they continued searching, a familiar face appeared in front of them. It was Wally hopping towards them.
"Well, if it isn't the three out of nowhere strangers who are always with the Planters." He said.
"Oh, your crazy one-eyed frog we met when we first came here." Coco said.
Wally said to her, "The name's Wally, luv. I just wrote a song about you lot. Want to hear it?" Before they could say anything Wally brought out his accordion and started to play it. "Ooooh…. There once was a pair of furry visitors who came from the unknown…"
Coco quickly tells me, "Maybe another time. We just walked around to find the Planter's stand."
"If that's what you're looking for, their stand is over there." Wally said as he pointed to the direction where the Planter's stand was. He then walks off while playing his accordion.
"Ok, he's a bit of a loon." Coco said. "Let's head to the stand."
All three head the direction Wally pointed until they see a stand in front of them. Hop Pop and Polly were there as they were waiting for customers.
"Look who just showed up, Polly." Hop Pop said as he saw Crash, Coco and Aku Aku.
"It's our furry friends and mask from who knows where!" Polly said.
"Hi, guys." Coco said to Hop Pop and Polly. "So, this is your stand?"
"Sure is." Hop Pop said. "This stand is the heart and soul of our family. I don't know what I do if we ever lost it."
"It seems you're having a slow day today." Aku Aku said.
"That will change once we sell these." Hop Pop said as he brought an odd looking vegetable out from the stand. "Scream beans!" He squeezed it and a beak-like mouth appeared and made a screaming noise. "Anne and Sprig are already out there and selling like their life depends on it, because they are. We really need this."
Crash and Coco looked from behind them and saw Sprig was trying to sell scream beans.
"Come one, come all. Try the beans everybody's screaming about." Sprig said. He then squeezed the scream bean and it screamed.
Coco sees a slim person near Sprig. "Is that who I think it is, Crash?" She said in which Crash looked at the figure and also noticed the person in someone familiar. He gasped when he noticed that she had only one shoe. He pointed to tell Coco this.
"One shoe? That is Anne!" Coco said.
Hop Pop said to them, "Yep, but this isn't a great time to.." Crash and Coco left before he finished talking to them. "Oh, dang it. There they go."
"I wonder what he meant by not a great time." Aku Aku said to himself.
Anne was selling scream beans like Sprig, but she was also wearing a scarf and sunglasses to cover her face. "Beans, everyone. Wow, can you believe it?" She said nonchalantly.
"Oh, gracious." A female villager said.
"Like, I buy beans from a monster." A male villager said.
"Yep." Anne said.
Crash and Coco walk over to talk to Anne.
"Anne! How's it going?" Coco said.
Anne turned around and saw them both.
"Hi guys." She said with a lack of emotion in her voice.
"What's up with you covering up your face? Did you fight off some giant predator attacking the Planters and it gave you a black eye or something?" Coco said with Crash wondering as well.
Anne doesn't want to say anything with so many witnesses so she said, "Look, you two. This isn't the best time to talk right now. I just need to sell these beans and get out of here before anyone sees me."
"Ok, now you're really hiding something, Anne." Coco said. "We just want to know if you're fine. If you told the Planters about what was going on with you then you should tell us as well. We're friends, remember?"
Anne sighs and said, "Fine, I'll tell you somewhere where we can't be seen."
Before they could hide, two frog kids were playing around. They start to run towards Anne.
"Hehehe, you can't catch me!" The green frog kid said.
He bumped into Anne which caused her sunglasses and scarf to knock off her face revealing what she had hidden. It is shown that Anne has red pimples all over her face.
"Whoa!" Crash said as he and Coco were surprised at this.
A villager heard him and turned to see Anne's pimples. "Leapin' larva! Look!" He said with everyone gasping as they saw Anne's pimples.
"No! No, don't look at me!" Anne shouted as she tried to cover her face with her hands.
Coco said to Anne, "Sweet Wumpa Cheeks, Anne why did you tell us that you have…"
"Warts! Beautiful, ruby-red warts!" A townie wearing glasses said, interrupting Coco.
"Wait, huh?" Anne said as she stopped covering her face.
"Stunning." Another townie said.
"Are they real?" A third townie said.
"I wanna touch them." A female townie said.
A scarfed townie said, "Three cheers for the girl with the ruby-red warts!"
The villagers toss Anne up in the air multiple times while saying "Hip-Hip-Hooray!" Anne quickly starts to like the Citizens of Wartwood finally starting to like her.
Crash and Coco head to the Planters' stand while still in a state of unbelief as they see Anne becoming an instant star.
"What is with the townies? Those things on Anne's face aren't warts, they're pimples." Coco said.
"Well, it looks like they gave her instant fame." Aku Aku said.
"This fame of hers had better not go over her head." Coco said.
Meanwhile at City Hollow, Toadstool is not doing well in the election polls as shown by Toadie drawing a line downward on a piece of paper on the wall that sayed Polls.
"Oh, this is bad, Toadie. Everyone in Wartwood hate us!" Toadstool said.
"With a passion, sir!" Toadie said to him.
Toadstool said, "It's as if embezzling money from the town and giving the pot luck prize to two last minute strangers makes you the bad guy!" He groans. "If we don't fix things soon, we'll lose next month's election for sure. The only thing that can save us now is a miracle."
Faint cheering was heard from outside. Toadstool hears this and looks outside and sees the townsfolk cheering Anne and carrying her.
"Oh, my dear Toadie, I do believe our miracle has arrived." Toadstool said as he got a plan to change this around.
Heading to the Planters' House, Anne and the Planters are surprised at how many gifts Anne has received due to her sudden fame.
"This is awesome! Look at these gifts!" Sprig said.
"They like me. They really, really like me." Anne said.
Polly shook a present and smiled when she thought it was candy so she ripped it up and gasped. "Chocolate Covered Maggots, come to mama!" She said. She then opened her mouth wide and ate the entire box of candy.
"Ahem." Coco said, which got everyone's attention. "I don't wanna be rude or anything, but have you three known she had an acne problem?"
"Absolutely." Polly said.
"She said it's just a human thing." Sprig said.
"We nearly quarantined her." Hop Pop said.
"Everyone here always calls me a monster, so when I got my pimples, I thought I was going to be called something even worse than that, but the exact opposite happened." Anne said. "Everyone in Wartwood now treats me like a celebrity."
"Yeah. They really seem to like your human bumps, Anne." Hop Pop said who is wearing a crown that is supposed to be for Anne.
Anne gasped and said while placing her hands on her pimples, "I better take care of these moneymakers if I wanna keep this up." She grabs a stick of butter and starts to rub it on her face. "Babies, babies are hungry." She looked at the Planter who shuddered in disgust and saw what she was doing. Crash and Coco were pretty disgusted by this too.
"Too much?" She asked them.
"There is one word I can say about what you're doing right now and it's spelled G-R-O-S-S!" Coco said.
A horn honked from outside, Anne opened the door to see Toadstool waiting for her.
Coco came out next and said, "Toadstool and Toadie? What are they doing here?"
"Not anything good, I'm sure of that." Aku Aku said as he and Crash came outside.
"Anne, my dear. Care to join me for a joyride?" Toadstool said to Anne with the snail whinnying.
"We brought the fancy snail!" Toadie said.
"Get out!" Anne said with excitement.
Sprig quickly came out, accidentally bumped into Coco which annoyed her and said, "We all get to ride in that? Awesome!"
"Finally, the luxury I deserve." Hop Pop said as he and Polly were heads for the snail, but were stopped by Toadstool using his cane.
Toadstool said to them, "Nope. I'm afraid only Anne is invited. Just look at those beautiful warts." He does a finger frame around Anne as he knows her stardom is her key to his election.
"Hey!" Coco shouted which caught Toadstool's attention. "Don't you remember us?" She gestures towards Crash who just waved at him.
"Oh, it's you two." Toadstool said. "Yes, I remember you both when you won the potluck, but too bad for both of you. I told you both I won't be so generous next time and I meant it." Those words Toadstool said caused Coco to look at him angrily.
Anne said as she got on the snail and put on her sunglasses, "Don't look so glum, guys. It's just a ride. I'll be back in a few." The snail whines and dashed outta here kicking up dust which caused The Planters, Crash and Coco to cough.
"What was that about?!" Coco said to Crash. "While I knew he wouldn't be so kind to us next time we see him, I didn't expect him to treat us this badly!
"Yeesh, I know toads always look down on frogs, but you're taking it this much harder than we usual would." Sprig said, curious as to why Coco is so heated up at Toadstool.
"Coco had a bad history with toads." Aku Aku said with Crash closed his eyes, crossed his arms, and nodded yes as he also know his sister isn't a fan of toads
"And I don't want to talk about it!" Coco said to Sprig.
"It begins." Hop Pop said, changing the subject.
"Huh?" Everyone said, except for Crash who just looked confused.
He told them, "Fame changes people, kids. And not in a good way."
"Makes me wonder why Liz wants to be famous." Coco said to Crash.
"Whoo! Man, this snail is fast." Anne said as she placed her shades on top of her head.
Toadstool starts to make a deal with Anne, "Anne, we can help each other. I can make sure you stay popular, and in turn, you can help me improve my reputation. How does that sound?"
"Sounds harmless." Anne said as she quickly agreed. "Can I honk the horn?"
"Yeah, sure." Toadstool said to her.
"Whoo!" Anne said as she honked the horn.
Her partnership with Toadstool starts with a meet and greet and Anne signing autographs to her fans (dubbed her F-Annes). After signing an autograph to one of her fans, she winked at him which caused him to swoon off his feet. Crash and Coco appeared at the Planter house to see the Planters working at the farm.
"Guys, is Anne still with Toadstool?" Coco said, which caught their attention.
"She is. It's been a while since we seen her." Hop Pop said,
"Look, there she is now." Polly said with her pointing to show that Anne and Toadstool were riding the fancy snail though the farm. Rumbling was heard once they left.
"What's that?" Sprig asked. Before he got an answer, Anne's fans charged though like a crazy mob to follow her and ended up trampling The Planters, Crash and Coco.
"I think you got your answer, Sprig. Ouch." Coco said.
Anne then cut a ribbon to open an orphanage, community center and a statue of her and Toadstool shaking hands.
At the Planter's stand, The Planters are once again trying to sell scream beans. Crash was sleeping while Coco was looking at her laptop, trying to find any crystal around Wartwood. Anne and Toadstool were once again riding the snail past the snail.
As the rumbling appeared, Coco said, "Oh no. Not again!" The crazed fan mob charged through, destroyed the stand which had The Planter, Crash and Coco to get trampled again, and caused the scream beans to be let out and started screaming.
Back at City Hollow, Toadstool was giving a room to Anne.
"Here we are!" Toadstool said as he opened the door. "From now on, Anne, this is your home."
Anne removed her sunglasses and looked in awe, her pupils grow as she saw her new room. It has a deluxe bed, a fountain, and many other fancy furniture.
"This is awesome. And to think just yesterday people were treating me like a monster. Look at me now, baby!" Anne said.
Toadstool chuckles then said, "Glad you're enjoying yourself. Stick with me and I'll make sure you never go out of style. He takes a stick of butter and hands it to Anne. Now take care of those warts. Toodles." Toadstool left the room.
Out of nowhere, the Planters appeared and entered via the window.
"Hey, Anne. Got time for a visit?" Sprig said.
"We would have entered through the front door, but I doubt that strutting peacock. would let us see you." Coco said as she, Crash, and Aku Aku went inside the room through the window.
"Don't you know that peacocks are deadly flying beasts in Amphibia?!" Hop Pop shouted to Coco who just ignored him as she knew that Amphibia has many predators that are hazards to a frog's health.
"Oh. Hey, guys." Anne said, greeting her friends. "Just look at this place. Epic, right?"
"Yeah, it's great." Sprig said sarcastically as he wasn't interested in the room. Hop Pop and Polly weren't really sure if Anne's new room is that special.
"I guess it's fine?" Coco said with Crash just grunting "Eh?"
Anne jumped on the sofa and said, "Can you believe I was living in your basement? Ha! It was cold, dusty, not to mention smelly and I had to deal with orange fur around the place from time to time. Oh, no offense."
"None taken." Hop Pop said. Crash and Coco were a little offended by Anne talking about their fur.
The clock near Anne chimed. "Oh, shoot. We gotta wrap this up. I've gotta sign autographs, kiss tadpoles and do some interviews, all before dinner." She said to them. Anne pushed the Planters, Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku out the door. "So good to talk to you guys. Love you, mean it. Mwah." She closed the door behind them.
She was about to get ready, until she heard one of her friends on the other side.
"Unbelievable!" Coco said. "What is up with Anne? She became a star in less than a day, and now she thinks she can just walk over us!" Crash was angrily grumbling on what Anne did to them.
"I know, it's like she is a completely different person!" Sprig said.
"Yeah, a crazy person!" Polly said.
Sprig sighs and said, "This stinks."
"Hey. None of that." Hop Pop said while bopping Sprig's head. "Kids, when one of your own makes it big, you support them. No matter what. Because deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down, they're the same person."
Sprig sighs and said, "Alright, Hop Pop. We'll do it your way."
"Okay." Polly said.
I guess we'll believe you in this, right guys? Coco said to which Crash gave an ok sign while Aku Aku just nodded.
Anne hears everything and starts to wonder if all the fame she is getting is worth ditching her friends.
Toadie appeared and said to Anne, "Ma'am, I think I found you the perfect dress for tonight."
"Oh. Yeah, okay." Anne said as she followed Toadie.
The next day, Anne was sleeping on her new bed with her face covered in the blanket. She hears a knock at the service door.
"Ugh. Five more minutes." She said.
A note slipped under the service door and into Anne's room. Anne got up, opened the letter and began reading the letter. "Be at the assembly at noon sharp." She read out loud.
She heads to the sink to look at her pimples in the mirror.
"Good morning, my greasy babies. Time to get ready for the…" Anne opens her eyes and gasps when she sees her pimples have cleared up. "No. No." She looked at another mirror beside her and started to freak out. "No, no, no, no, no. My pimples!"
She starts rubbing butter on her face in a desperate attempt to get her pimples back. "What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" She said repeatedly. She sees a quill pen and a piece of paper, so she tosses the butter aside and starts writing an emergency letter to the Planters. She heads to the service door and starts to knock.
"Uh, hello? Anyone there?" Anne said.
Toadie appeared from the door and said "Just me! Toadie!" Anne quickly closed the door so Toadie couldn't see her face. He just laughed about it and said, "Wow."
" Uh, can you deliver this note to the Plantars?" Anne said as she slid the note through the door.
"Of course, ma'am." Toadie said. "But before I do, could I get an autograph? I'm a huge fan."
"Yeah. Sure. Why not?" Anne said as she quickly grabbed the quill and note from the table behind her and wrote an autograph for Toadie. She slides it under the door. "Here. Now get going."
"Uh, this is a little hard to read." He said.
"JUST GO!" Anne shouted.
"Yes, ma'am!" Toadie said. Footsteps were heard as he ran off to give the note to the Planters.
Anne sighs as she thinks about it. She grabs her phone and starts to type a text message.
At N. Sanity Island, Coco was busy on her computer while Crash and Aku Aku were playing Wumpa Volleyball. A message appeared on Coco's computer which alarmed her. She opened it and was surprised as she read it.
"Hey, guys!" Coco said which caused Aku Aku to come over immediately.
"What is it, Coco?" He said as Crash came by next, his face full of Wumpa juice.
"I just got a text message. It's from Anne." She said. "It's said, S.O.S! Come quickly!"
"Looks like she's in trouble." Aku Aku said, however Crash wasn't concerned as he knew it got to be about Anne's pimples.
" Crash has a point. It just had to be something to do with her pimples." Coco said.
Aku Aku said, "True, but we won't know until we see her."
"I know. Let's see what her problem is." Coco said. All three head for the warp room.
Back at Town Hall, Sprig was about to knock on Anne's door, when Crash, Coco and Aku Aku appeared from behind them.
"You got Anne's note too?" Hop Pop said to them.
"Yes, but I doubt that it's urgent as she said it is." Coco said while Sprig knocked on the door. Anne opened the door and looked around to see if anyone was nearby.
"We got your notes." Sprig said.
"We came as fast as we could." Hop Pop said.
Once she saw the coast was clear, Anne pushed the Planters inside.
"So, what's your problem, Anne?" Coco said as she, Crash, and Aku Aku went into the room.
Anne closes the door and grabs Coco by her shoulders and starts to shake her rapidly. "Can you see I have a huge problem right now?!" She shouted. Anne let go of Coco. "My life is ruined. My zits. They're gone. Without them, I'm...I'm nothing."
"I knew it! Some emergency this is!" Coco said. "I can't believe you're freaking out all because of that stupid blemish of yours."
"Ugh!" Sprig said, joining in. "Anne, that's ridiculous. I'm sick and tired of this and...and…" He looked at Hop Pop who nodded back at him. He sighs and said, "We'll do everything we can to help you."
Crash, and Aku Aku looked at Coco who groaned and said, "It pains me to say this, but we'll help you too, Anne."
"Oh, thank goodness!" Anne said.
Sprig thinks of a way to help Anne. Once he got an idea he said, "I got it!" He gets a book out of his pocket and shows it to Anne. "What if we stuck some of these swamp berries to your face? They kinda look like pimples."
"Great. But how can we get to the swamp without me being seen? I have F-Annes everywhere." Anne said.
"F-what?" Sprig said
"She said F-Annes." Coco said to him. She then starts talking to Anne. "You been calling your crazy fans that these days, right?"
"Yep, pretty much." Anne said.
The Planters gave off a look of concern and unbelievably as they heard what Anne called her fans.
"I don't want to live on this planet anymore." Polly said.
"Don't worry about the crowds, Anne. I have a pla-Anne." Hop Pop said to which Polly groaned.
At the town desk, Anne, crazy fans were waiting for her. Some were carrying name boards, others had Anne dolls. There were even some that dressed like her. The Planter came through with a wagon of dirty towels.
"Make way!" Sprig said.
"Plague towels, everyone. Plague towels." Hop Pop said, in which the crowd backed off.
"This has better work." Coco said as she, Crash and Aku Aku looked at the wagon full of towels in the distance.
Polly said, "If you don't wanna cough up your organs, stay back!"
The wagon hit a rock which caused one of the towels to fall off revealing Anne's foot.
"Hey, everyone, that's Anne's foot. "The crazed F-Anne said.
Anne popped out of the towels and said, Uh-oh.
"Their cover is blown!" Coco said.
"The jig is up! Run!" Sprig said as the Planters out of Town Hollow and into town.
Anne's fans start to chase the wagon as they wanted Anne.
Let go follow them. Coco said as she, Crash and Aku Aku head outside to the town outskirts to help Anne before her fans get to them.
"We're not gonna make it!" Anne said as she looked back to see her fans are getting closer to them.
"Not without a diversion we won't." Hop Pop said. "Anne, give me your shoe."
Anne, confused by Hop Pop's request said, "Uh, ok." She closed one of her eyes as she tried to get her shoe off her foot. Once she did she handed it to Hop Pop.
He let go of the wagon and said, "Hey, everyone! Lookie! I got Anne's shoe!"
"Hop Pop, NOOOOOO!" Anne said dramatically.
"He's got Anne's shoe!" One of Anne's fans said.
"Get him!" Another fan said.
Hop Pop turned back to Anne, Sprig, and Polly, and said. "Fly, you fools." The mob piles on him trying to get Anne's shoe.
Anne, Sprig, and Polly looked said until Polly broke the mood by saying "Eh, he'll be fine."
"Do you guys have to be so dramatic over everything?" Coco said as she, Crash and Aku Aku caught up with them.
Once they made it to the woods Sprig sees the swamp berries they will need. "Look over there!" He said.
Anne grabs a handful of swamp berries and places them all over her face.
"How do I look?" Anne said.
Sprig placed a swamp berry in the spot of Anne's face where she missed. "That should do it."
"About as good as you having pimples. Your fans won't notice a thing." Coco said.
"F-Annes." Anne said, correcting Coco.
"Please don't make me say that again. It was annoying to say it once." She said.
Anne looked at herself in the pond. The swamp berries worked like a charm as they nearly looked like her pimples.
"Thanks for helping me, guys." Anne said to her friends.
"It's no problem, Anne." Coco said with Crash smiling despite not liking how Anne is treating them recently.
"That's what we're here for." Sprig said.
"Not me, I'm here for the drama." Polly said.
Later, tonight at the assembly, Anne's fans were waiting for her to give her speech. Toadstool behind the curtains have been waiting impatiently for her.
"Where is she? I'm losing a point in the polls every minute she's late." He said.
"I'm here! I'm here!" Anne said as she went up the stairs to the back of the stage.
"There you are, my dear. I was so worried." Toadstool said.
Anne told him, "Sorry, I was caught up in this whole mob situation. Luckily the Plantars, Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku were there to help me and–"
When Toadstool heard this he said, "The Planters? And those orange strangers? Anne, honey, I thought we talked about this. Hanging out with those bumpkins will only pull you down to their level. I think it's for the best that you not be seen with them anymore. Understand?"
Anne looked at her phone showing her screensaver is the Planters who do not like the bright flash. She then starts to think about Crash and Coco. Even though they both don't like Anne's attitude, they still end up being with Anne and helping her.
She looked at Toadstool then looked away, but she said, "Understood."
"Good. Now get out there. Your public awaits." He said.
The curtain opened at Anne is shown. She walked toward and started to say her speech.
"Crazy week, huh? Couple days ago, I was a monster. And now I'm the pride and joy of Wartwood. I've got a nice apartment, F-Annes, fame. But you know what I'm missing? The people who'll stick with me whether I'm a monster or not." Anne grabbed the berries on her face and dropped them on the stage. The crowd gasps and starts to repulse at Anne once more.
"She's hideous again." A villager said.
Toadstool and Toadie came from the curtains. "Anne, what are you doing? You're throwing it all away? Now how am I supposed to convince these idiots to vote for me?" He said to Anne.
"Uh, sir?" Toadie said.
"What is it, Toadie? Toadstool said. He look at the crowd and realized that his words had caught the crowd's attention but not in a good way.
Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku head in center ahead of the crowd.
"Looks like your mayor was keeping his true intentions from all of you." Coco said to the crowd.
"Did I say "idiots"? I meant lovely, lovely townspeople eh? Toadstool said, but the crowd aren't buying this one bit so they start to bring out fruit ready to throw. "Uh, simmer down now. Simmer do… "Toadstool was hit by a melon in his mouth. He quickly runs off the stage. "This is an outrage! Stop that!" While running, he dropped something shiny on the ground.
"Now that was satisfying to watch." Coco said with Crash laughing.
"Crash, Coco, looking over there!" Aku Aku said with both of them looking to see the shiny object Toadstool dropped. They head over to see that it was a blue crystal.
"It's a crystal. So, that's why that greedy toad just gave us one. He was keeping more of them for himself!" Coco said.
"He might have more crystals on him, but that for another time." Aku Aku said.
"Show's over." A townie said.
"What a waste of time." Another townie said.
"Let's get out of here." A third townie said.
Anne was with the Planters, Crash, Coco and Aku Aku. "Uh, hey guys." She said to them.
Sprig held up an Anne doll on a stick and said, "These are horrifying."
"Yep." Hop Pop said.
"Thanks for sticking with me, even when the attention got to my head." Anne said.
"We all knew you were still the old Anne we know despite you treating up badly during your 24 hours of fame." Coco said.
"Just remember to do the same when I'm rich and famous." Hop Pop said to them.
Polly said, "Never happening." Crash ending up laughing at what Polly said.
Anne said to the Planters, "Any chance I can go back to being the monster that lives in your basement and who is also friends with marsupials?"
"Of course." Sprig said to which he and Polly hugged Anne's legs.
Crash shook his head yes to what Anne had just said.
"Thanks, you guys." Anne said to them. "Hey, you know what? I still have the key to the apartment. You guys wanna try out the hot tub before they change the locks?"
"Well, I'm kinda busy back home…." Coco looked at Anne and the Planters who stared back at them. "Oh, what the heck. Why don't we hang out with them this time, guys?"
"That's a good idea, Coco." Aku Aku said with Crash agreeing.
"Ok, we're in." Coco said.
"Whoo-hoo!" Sprig said.
"Yeah!" Polly said.
"Hot tub! Hot tub!" Anne chanted as she headed to the hot tub with the Planters following her.
"Don't worry, Crash. Hot tubs have shallow water." Coco said to his brother they walked with Anne and the Planters.
"Can't wait to feel those bubbles…in my pants." Hop Pop said.
