Its been a week since i left everything behind me and got out my hideout which was an abandoned house with danger written all over from the looks of it. I walked into the city looking around the dumpsters after i found some bedding in very good condition and kept on exploring. I soon enough found myself at the food court where i pick up the leftovers and walked up the stairs seeing one of the employees that met every time i come here. "Sel." said the woman. "Melinda." said Selene feeling something. She looked to find a group of teens talking feeling the same feeling again and looked away to have a seat at the corner with Melinda handing her a cup of water. "Thank you." said Selene pulling out her notebook that was used for grocery. Ever since her previous book was burned along with her other belongings Selene had rewrite everything. The girl with the blue cloak looked over while her friends talked seeing Selene sketching feeling something from her. "Hey guys. I'll be right back." said the girl getting up walking over to her. "Hey." said the girl making Selene shut her notebook. "Sorry I know the routine." said Selene standing up putting her notebook away. "No. i was wondering about what brings you here to Jump City." said the girl. "Doesn't matter." said Selene looking at her. "Just making a conversation. Im Raven." said the girl. 'You're a witch. Aren't you?' said Selene in Raven's mind. "You can say." said Raven then noticed her friends watching them. "You want to join us?" said Raven. Selene looked at her and the group confused before walking with her to the table sitting next a bionic man. "Hello friend. Im Starfire." said the red haired girl wearing a two piece purple and silver outfit. Selene didnt say anything but looked at the group cautiously until the bionic man spoke up. "Cyborg. Are you okay?" said the bionic man. "Yeah. Just that i never get to meet new people that much." said Selene. "Well Im Robin and thats Beast Boy." said the boy with dark hair wearing a tight costume. "You a vegetarian?" said the boy with green skin and hair. "No." said Selene. "Then we'll get the pepperoni." said Cyborg as they started arguing. Selene watched them talking about what they want until she looked at Raven who shrugged until they stopped to hear something. She looked with them seeing a bus moving down the hill to a baby stroller in the middle of the street making her curious of what was going on. "Titans Go!" said Robin as the group scattered.
Selene watched Starfire fly to move the stroller and Cyborg slowing down the bus while Raven use her power to put on the breaks. She didn't hear what was going on once Robin, Starfire, and Beast Boy checked on the 'baby' before it blew up. "And i thought Xjankia people were idiots." said Selene walking away from the food court. She walked down the block while the titans fought not wanting to help two reasons. Not going for repeat and barely knew them besides their names. The other was this dimension was all new to her which is why she needed to know more without getting any attachments to the Titans. She didnt want to let her guard down to just anyone that easily until she look back to absorb a pink energy fired at her by accident from the girl a updo hair style shaped like horns with black and purple outfit. Selene kept on walking but the girl wasnt done with her by jumping high in the air to attack her but in slow motion Selene made her freeze in midair for a second before forcing her back to the large man and the boy with a very strong to create a slight crater from the impact. "Way to girl." said Cyborg until the boy threw a device on his back making him fly way with Starfire going after him. Selene took her chance to walk right into the glass door next to her like water and emerge at a random place in Jump City. She walked around seeing she was somewhere in downtown by the many shops and restaurants until one area caught her interests going inside. The shop had crystals in any shade size or form, dried herbs, candles, and books that looked new or old. "Hello. interested into buying?" said the cashier walking in. "Just looking." said Selene pulling off her hoodie to let her hair breathe. "Let me know if you need help with anything?" said the cashier. "Do you perhaps have blank books?" said Selene looking at him. "In the back one the left shelves. Im Dean by the way." said the cashier. "Thanks." said Selene following the directions. She looked through each one feeling the material before taking one and pulled out some money she picked pocketed using it to pay. "Care to look at our Quills. They just came in." said Dean handing her the change. "Next time." said Selene keeping the receipt. She walked home talking the long route crossing he bridge seeing the T shape building on an island seeing four figures getting washed out to shore. "uh what the hell just happen?" said Selene getting the fours attention to her.
"You want to know what happened?! We just got thrown out of our home. They won and we lost." said Cyborg. "Why didnt you help us back there?" he asked. "Its not my business. I just did my thing and left you guys to handle it figuring you guys have fought like this before." said Selene. "She's got a point." said Beast Boy. "How? Robin is gone and she couldve joined in to prevent it from happening." said Cyborg. Selene rolled her eyes walking away passing Robin who came out of a sewer pipe leading to the ocean making himself known to the team. She then stopped for Raven land in front of her and looked at the team. "Wouldn't hurt to help out some friends especially new ones?" said Robin. Selene snapped her fingers to make her hoodie disappear showing her outfit. "Looks like someone has done some fighting before." said Robin. "Lets just focus getting your home back." said Selene vanishing into smoke. She emerged from the walls getting the groups attention with the large guy charging at her. He swung his large fist at her who slides down between his legs standing up and swung her leg up around his thick neck hooking it and swung to the other side making him bend and flip him on his back. Then looked over her shoulder seeing the girl coming her way and ripped off her black choker from her neck flicking it straight to turn into a staff stick it to the floor to laugh a kick to her stomach. Selene jumped backwards for Starfire to take the big guy into the hall and looked at the boy screaming to get the robot arm off of him until she snapped her fingers to make a portal appear underneath him. "Where did he go" said Cyborg after reattaching his arm. "No where. I created a infinite void making him fall nonstop." said Selene. "Good now meet us on the roof. We arent done yet." said Cyborg. He lead her up to the top of the tower with the portal opening up for the boy to fall on the big guy while Beast Boy and Starfire got the pink haired girl. Selene disappeared and reappeared on top of the new structure to looking down seeing the big guy being knocked into the boy and girl finishing them off. She waved her right up to make her disguise appear again and fall back vanishing to her place.
