After hours of telling their stories and whats going on in Hawkins from last year with Will's disappearance and others. "So you're 013 that escaped ten years ago from Hawkins Lab." Said Jim understanding Valerie's story. "Yeah. And i used my electric powers to find Eleven here like talking through walkies but with any radios with or without power." Said Valerie. "Thats how you got here. What about you?" Said Jim looking at Ethan. "Im normal like you. Its because of Brenner and the staff our families are dead. They had undercover agents to kill her and anyone who made a connection." Said Ethan as Jim noticed his left hand shaking. "You doing okay?" Said Jim. "Yeah. Yeah. Im fine just tired." Said Ethan. "Take a smoke." Said Valerie. "Fine. Its for medical purpose." Said Ethan walking outside. "He has a bit of epilepsy and takes weed to control it. It works sometimes and i let my friends, Steve, Jonathan, and Nancy know in case im not around." Said Valerie. "Now that we told each others story. Where's El?" She says. "You're not allowed to see her. Its too risky." Sais Jim. "Okay but pissing off two lab rats is not good idea." Said Valerie walking out as Ethan put his joint. "You good?" She asked. "Yeah. El?" Said Ethan. "He cant let me see her. Im gonna go explore." Said Valerie. "Hey. You're gonna see each other." Said Ethan while Valerie took out her folding long board. "I know. See you at the Byers." Said Valerie before going for a run. "Listen Valerie. Hey!" Said Jim seeing her run off with her board amd backpack. "She needs to cool off or have the town in a black out." Said Ethan.
"Those two sure think alike. You two do realize you both cant stay with the Byers right?" Said Jim looking at Ethan. "And we cant stay with you so back to living in my grandpas 1957 wagon." Said Ethan. "I'll find a place. I just have to deal with problem in the farm." Said Jim. "Well am i going back to hell i mean school because im hungry as fuck." Said Ethan. "I'll get us burgers. Come on." Said Jim getting to his car with Ethan. Valerie rode along the empty dirt path for a bit until she suddenly stopped her skateboard at a middle school. Her strong hearing caught on an argument making her look over seeing a boy talking to a girl who looks mad at him. "Why dont you want me involved? Because im a girl." Said the girl. "Its not that we dont trust you but theres some things you dont understand." Said the boy then saw Valerie watching them. "Just forget it, Lucas." Said the girl going to the car. "Max!" Said Lucas seeing her leave. He sighed before looking at Valerie who skated off down the road and turn the corner disappear behind a building. "Lucas?" Said a boy with a cap on over his curly hair. "What Dustin?" Said Lucas. "Who was that girl?" Said Dustin. "I dont know. I never seen her around. Something about her is off." Said Lucas. "Should we follow her?" Said Dustin. "I dont know. Come on lets check on Will." Said Lucas going to the bike racks.
Valerie stopped her board at the side of the road amd walked on the sidewalk passing the back of the police station. She looked around seeing a radio shack and walked towards it then saw a car almost speeding towards her but made a complete stop. "Watch it! You fucker!" Said Valerie looking at the driver. She saw it was the boy from her class looking at her up and down. Flipping him off Valerie went into the store while folding her board so it wont bother anyone. Having a look at the walkies, record players, and radios didnt catch her attention also the money she had on her wasnt enough. "Hey." Said a voice next to her. Valerie glanced to her right seeing the same boy and went back to looking at the radios that were cheap. "You better be apologizing for earlier." Said Valerie. "Good luck with that." Said a girl passing them. "Shut up Max. Im Billy. You're friends with Harrington right?" Said Billy. "Yeah and?" Said Valerie. "Well Steve is going to Tinas party and i thought maybe you and i can go." Said Billy. "Thats nice but partying isnt my thing especially with alcohol. Thanks though." Said Valerie walking off. She went to the cashier who looked up from her magazine boredly. "Do you happen to have Radios for a 1957 wagon?" Said Valerie. "We dont. You can try ordering online, auto shop, or the junk yard." Said the cashier. "Thank you." Said Valerie. She walked out the store going around back without anyone watching and headed to the dumpsters. "What are you doing?" Said Billy at the end of the alley. Valerie turned around seeing him standing there with his hands in his pockets looking at her confused. "Is this how you treat girls that turn you down?" Said Valerie tilting her head. "No. I noticed that you were looking for a radio and thought maybe i can help." Said Billy.
"At least to make up that i almost didnt hit you with my car." He says shrugging. "I get back to you on that." Said Valerie before going into the dumpster. "Billy lets go. I need to go to the arcade!" Said the girl walling toward him. "Wait a minute." Said Billy glaring at her. He then went to the dumpster grabbing Valerie by the arm then saw her ready to punch him. "Im not gonna hurt you relax." Said Billy. "Yeah like im one of those dumb girls who falls for a pretty face. Let go if you want your teeth in." Said Valerie as Billy did so. "Go take your sister Max to the arcade. I'll be fine. Its not the first time ive dug through trash." Said Valerie looking through the bags and boxes scattered inside. Billy rolled his eyes walking back to his car with Max waiting for him and drove off. Valerie looked all over only to find nothing and climbed out grabbing her bag and board that she tossed next to the garbage cans. She walked around the town along the road feeling herself drown to the woods where Jims old cabin is. Valerie carefully went down the steep hill until her foot caught a rabbit hole and rolled all the way down. Ping. Thud. She groaned in pain after her head slammed into something metal looking at the object to see a metal door that was covered in dirt build up and leaves. Moving everything off and few tugs the rusted door opened causing some dust to blew out. Valerie couldnt see anything at the bottom of the stairs having no other option to make a stream of electric spark to get a better look. With each step she kept on looking back to make sure no one was out there before reaching another door. Once she opened it slowly while shooting her lightning energy to the lights hanging in the ceiling. There was a very large open space to see living area on the right and kitchen on the left. Down in the middle was a long hall way with four doors on each side with the last door being the bathroom. Checking through the rooms and anything seemed like a living person used remained untouched for years. "Looks to me that i found our new home." Said Valerie going ouf the door but saw her reflection through the full length mirror. Her clothes were dirty and torn on few spots with blood smeared from her head having a deep cut near the hairline and glanced down at her leg where she stepped into the rabbit hole making her slight red ankle noticeable. "Im so going to get bitched at for this." Said Valerie before leaving the bunker and covering the door again placing a burned mark on a root of branch close by to find the door again.
