It was late as Selene walked down street like she normally does find new places looking to see people socializing with each other. She saw a bar going in to take a look until she saw Melinda talking with her friends by the corner table in the back. "Hey Melinda." said Selene. "Sel. Hi. What are you doing here?" said Melinda. "I like exploring." said Selene. "But you cant just waltz into a place like this." said one of her friends who had short brunette hair. "Because i look like a teenager. i get that way too much." said Selene. "Got ID?" said the ginger woman. "Never had one in my life." said Selene. Kim. Amelia. Enough. She can join us and get to know each other better." said Melinda. "So what brings you to Jump City?" said Kim. "Finding a better life. I just left after being treated like shit." said Selene. "Boyfriend?" said Amelia. "No. Hated by everyone for being myself." said Selene. "You mean a Wiccan? or a Witch?" said Melinda. "Its both the same thing. i never performed any of those satanic or devil worship in case you three are wondering." said Selene. "So is everyone like Salem?" said Melinda. "Yeah." said Selene. They continued talking until Selene felt Raven close by looking at the girls. "Im sorry but i have to go. Can we meet again like this?" said Selene. "Sure. How about Saturday?" said Melinda. "Perfect. bye Girls." said Selene leaving the bar. She walked to where she feel raven's energy until Starfire tackled her into a tight hug. "Oh dear friend. We have been looking for you. Where have you gone?" said Starfire holding her tightly. Selene looked at her then saw Robin coming with the rest of the team. "Starfire. You let go now." said Robin seeing Selene looked like she's ready to pass out. "Oh I'm sorry." said Starfire letting go. "Thanks. Why are you guys looking for me?" said Selene. "You kinda disappeared on us after the fight against the Hive. Why did you leave?" said Robin. "Look i kinda helped out you guys on getting your home back. I figured you guys handled this before and didnt want to interfere." said Selene. "Come on. You were amazing back there." said Cyborg. "You'd be perfect for the team?" said Robin. "Joining the Titans? You all barely know me." said Selene. "Then hang out with us. it'll be fun." said Beast Boy. "Won't kill anyone to make friends." said Cyborg. "Please. We shall watch a movie of your choosing as our guest." said Starfire.
"Fine. Let me take care of something at my place." said Selene walking away but Cyborg stopped her. "We can drive you." said Cyborg pulling out his car keys clicking it. A car in similar design as Cyborg pulled over fast with the doors opened on its own with Robin and Beast Boy going in. Selene went in the back with Beast Boy giving Cyborg directions to the abandoned house seeing the confusion on their face. "You live here?" said Cyborg as Selene just got out and walked inside. She walked up the wall to the second floor pushing the door open since the door knob was found broken off. She looked around for anything that was moved while she was gone knowing that there have been times squatters tried to take her stuff. Selene turned to see Raven who emerged from the walls looking at her 'home' then at her. "I like your alter." said Raven. Thanks. I needed to make none of the squatters were in here." said Selene. "Everything good in there?" said Robin outside. "You might wanna get your ass in the car. There's been needles everywhere." said Selene loud enough for him to hear. "Ready to go?" said Raven watching her take a belt buckle with a star in a circle. "Yeah." said Selene walking through the wall with Raven. They got to the tower to the main room with Selene looking at the movies curiously while the popcorn was being made. "Did you find anything you like?" aid Beast Boy. "I dont normally do this kind of stuff. Why dont you guys choose? Whatever is fine with me." said Selene. "Dont you have friends?" said Beast Boy. "One but not anymore." said Selene. "Wanna talk about it?" said Beats Boy. Selene shook her head side to side and went into the hall to find a bathroom until she saw a open door way going towards it. "OH. sorry where the bathroom?" said Selene after seeing raven inside. "End of the hall take a left two doors down." said Raven. "Thanks." said Selene following her directions. She did her thing and went back to the room sitting on couch next to Raven who was reading a book as the movie started. Selene watched the movie half the time seeing most of the team except her and raven were awake using her power to stop the movie. She got up stretching then took each of the team to their room with her help and cleaned up the mess. "Why did you come here?" said Raven out of no where. She walked over helping putting the dishes away listening. "I wasnt wanted for what i am. My only friend didnt defend me over the countless times of saving our home due to his family reputation. He was seen as a Hero and me not so much. So i left that dimension to start a new life. grew tired the same bullshit for many many years." said Selene. "I wont say anything." said Raven. "Thanks." said Selene smiling a little.
The next morning Selene was on the roof practicing with Robin to see what she is capable of beside her magic powers been going at it for good couple of hours. She finally fought against Robin remembering the times she done this with Blake when snuck around to learn different fighting techniques. Robin groaned after Selene took him down feeling his whole body sore and stood up stumbling a bit but Selene helped him get inside. "Very impressive fighting skills you had up your sleeve." said Robin. "Never too late to learn something new." said Selene leading him to his room. "See you guys later." said Selene. "Where you going?" said Starfire stopping her from going to the elevator. "Please tell me your not going back to the house." said Cyborg while playing video games with Beast Boy. "You live your way. I live mine. its not the first time i live like that." said Selene. "But you can live with us. we have plenty rooms." said Starfire. "Sweet of you but none of you can handle me." said Selene vanishing into smoke. She emerged from the brick wall between two buildings casually walking out blending into the crowded sidewalks. This gave her the opportunity to pick pocket enough to get something for the day then saw a toddler pass her running towards the street and quickly picked him up before a car hit him. "Dylan?!" said the mother rushing out of the shop. "Here lucky for you i saw him." said Selene placing Dylan on her hip. The mother breathed in relief taking Dylan from her to make sure he was okay while Selene walked away until Melinda came over to them. "Selene wait. Wait." said Melinda blocking her way from crossing the street. "You just saved my nephew." said Melinda. "it was a natural instinct." said Selene. "Still. i know we barely know each other since last night. Kenna. This is Selene. The one i was telling you about." aid Melinda. "Thank you so much. He often escapes from us. Look how we go out for dinner as a thank you." said Kenna holding Dylan in her arms. "It wasnt a big deal. Anyone wouldve done what i did." said Selene. Please. I can give you our numbers and call you. You are going with us." said Melinda pulling out pen from her purse. She grabbed Selene's arm pushing the sleeve up writing down the numbers with their names. "You are not going to let this slide. Arent you?" said Selene. "No. Call us alright." said Melinda waking away with her sister and nephew. Selene turned around going to the house not realizing someone was watching he every move under supervision along with other videos of her using her powers and one fighting against Robin. A man seated on a throne kept his visable eye locked on the screen humming in thought as his servant placed a cup on his ar rest. "She's interesting. Find everything you can about her." said the man looking from the screen to a woman with a uniform and white hair tied in a neat bun holding a file in her arms. "Of course, Slade." said the woman before she left.
