Valerie pulled the car in paeking next to Steves seeing him just getting out. She grabbed her bag getting out locking up feeling eyes on her. "What happened?" Said Steve looking her left eye is bruised. "Ethan had another seizure at the Wheeler's where his body twitches around which his foot kicked me in the face when i moved Molly out of the way. All because you let him drink." Said Valerie walking with him. "I swear it wont happen again. Where is he now?" Said Steve checking her eye. "At the Wheeler's. Mikes mom wanted him there just to make sure he's fine." Said Valerie. "Im sorry." Said Steve. "Dont. Besides Ethan wont remember what happened especially this." Said Valerie gesturing her eye. "Are you feeling anything else?" Said Steve. "Just headaches and this eye is kinda hurting." Said Valerie reaching to Steve's locker. She got her books then headed to their class first as Jonathan came over. "Oh my god. Are you okay?" Said the teacher seeing Valerie. "Im doing okay. Just my brother had another seizure last night and resulted to this." Said Valerie. "Well if you're not feeling great tell me and have someone take you home." Said the teacher. "Noted." Said Valerie sitting down in her seat as the bell rang. She got her notebook out seeing everyone coming in taking their seat. Billy sat down not paying attention until his eyes saw her purple eye reaching out to touch it but Valerie smacked his hand away. He then went back on the lesson and glanced at Valerie everyone once in a while she wasnt looking. Throughout the school day Valerie walked to the parking finding Billy waiting for her by Ethans car. She walked over to him looking tired and annoyed as he stares at her with concern. "If its about my eye. Im fine. It was an accident." Said Valerie getting her keys out. "Hows Ethan? I remembered him acting weird when you took to the car." Said Billy. "He had a seizure and another one at the Wheeler's which he accidentally kicked me in the face for trying to keep his legs down. That all happened for him drinking." Said Valerie unlocking the car. "Listen i know we barely been friends but i want to. So how about i install that radio for Ethan while i babysit my stepsister." Said Billy. "Tempting but i think i can handle it. I just need the tools." Said Valerie. "You dont want to be around me or what?" Said Billy. "I dont enjoy you mistreating others even if they didnt do anything." Said Valerie. "Didn't you have any siblings? Real ones." Said Billy seeing her get in. "Our families all died in a fire leaving us two." Said Valerie before pulling out and drove away.
She drove over to Mikes school close by and pulled into the pick up zone. Seeing the boys talking about something with Max looking pissed passing them. "You cant keep this thing. Its dangerous." Said Lucas "Hes my pet and i fed him my favorite candy. Why is Valerie looking at us?" Said Dustin looking at her. "Get all your asses in the car!" Said Valerie. "Thats okay we can walk ho-" Valerie honked the horn without taking her hand off until the boys got in. "Whats going on?" Said Valerie looking them through the viewer. "Nothing." Said Dustin. "Mike. Lucas. Truth or die." Said Valerie starting the car. "Dont listen to her she bluffing." Said Dustin. Valerie floored the car in speed passing Billys car ignoring the boys screaming and yelling at her to slow down. She swerved the car while making a turn and smacked Dustins hands off of her. Valerie then took her hands up speeding up a bit more making Lucas scream at Dustin. "We got a baby demagorgan from the upside-down." Said Dustin as the car spun wildly before parking in parallel in front the forest where her home is making a complete stop. "Have you lost your fucking MINDS?!" Said Valerie looking at the three. "Us what about you driving all psycho and where the hell are we?" Said Lucas seeing nothing but a road. "My place. Lets go." Said Valerie getting out after shutting the car off. The boys followed through the forest as Valerie opened the door using her power to turn the light bulbs on showing the stairs. "Son of a bitch. Were gonna die." Said Dustin. "Youre not. Just we will be talking about the upside down." Said Valerie going downstairs and unlock the door. They walked in looking around as Valerie stood in front of the couch gesturing to sit down. "You live here." Said Mike. "With Ethan and got three extra rooms and thank god two bathrooms." Said Valerie. "Good because i need a piss." Said Dustin walking down the hall.
Valerie crossed her arms looking at Mike and Lucas sitting down. "What do you know bout the upside-down?" Said Valerie. "You been there?" Said Mike. "Easy way in and a major bitch to get out alive." Said Valerie. "Why didnt you get rid of it?" She says. "We have been telling Dustin that and now Max wants to get involved." Said Lucas. "We cant trust her." Said Mike. "Hey. I trust Ethan when he saw me with my powers. Why cant she?" Said Valerie. "Its that she's not . . ." "El. She may not be her but you're good friends then let her if she wants to." She finished for Mike. "We'll see. Now we have to find it and have you kill it before anything bad happens." Said Mike. "Agreed. Where did you last see it?" Said Valerie. "It escaped in the boys bathroom. He slipped out of my hands." Said Dustin once he came back from the bathroom. "Okay we can radio each once we find it. I'll take you boys home." Said Valerie. The boys went outside to hear a car alarm not far and Valerie sprinted ahead of them. "What the fuck are you doing?" Said Valerie seeing Billy and Max in his car. "Installing the radio for you." Said Billy steeping out ot drivers side. "Did you break the window because this is Ethan's grandfather's car." Said Valerie seeing no damage. "I picked the lock which triggered the alarm before i started." Said Billy. "So are you taking us home or what?" Said Dustin. "Give me the keys to your camero." Said Valerie. "In the car." Said Billy not seeing Max looked shocked at she just heard. "Go in. If that car explodes or something. I'll kick your ass before Ethan does." Said Valerie as he nod his head once. She got in with the boys in the back and drove them to their houses then went back to where she left Billy within an hour or two. "Alright good to go." Said Billy putting his tools in the trunk of his camero. "Thanks. Ethan will appreciate that." Said Valerie. "Anything for a friend. If you need any help let me know. Hope your eyes and Ethan get better." Said Billy before getting his car while Max was 'playing' her music. Valerie waved him off as he drove to him and Max home then checked the radio for testing. she then heard a ringing inside the car and picked up the rectangular brick phone pulling the antenna out to get the signal. "Hello?" Said Valerie. "Hi Valerie. We wanted to let you know Ethan is doing better. Im making a doctors appointment for him to get his meds." Said Barbara. "Oh thank god. Thank you Mrs. Wheeler. Thats going to help him so much." Said Valerie. "Hey anything to help you kids. Anyways if you want dinner will be at seven." Said Barbara. "Thats perfect. I'll be there. Thank you bye." Said Valerie before hanging up.
