He then grabs his phone and turns on What We Do by Freeway and starts getting ready for school
As he gets ready he works out a bit (Push Ups, Sit Ups, Lifting Weights, etc), smokes, snorts on Xanax, and gets dressed.
Finally after finishing, he heads outside to see his best friend Lamar waiting

Lamar (pissed)

Lamar (excited)

The camera cuts to Davis High School, a mostly African American based tough school as Franklin is stomping super pissed in the hallway with Lamar

Franklin is ignoring him

Tonya turns to see two students recording as she realizes what's about to happen before her own eyes.
The camera cuts back onto hours later, Franklin is at home arguing with his Aunt, Denise as intense music plays.

Franklin WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU..
Franklin throws a pillow pissed
Denise (getting pissed as well)

The room gets quiet as Franklin realizes he just yelled at his Aunt for the first time ever.

Denise however walks off into the other room as Franklin once again has let his tensions hurt someone close to him.
Plateau by Bain begins playing in the background as Franklin busts through the door heading outside in the night to clear his head
He stares at the dangerous neighborhood around him and starts questioning his life
Franklin's brain has melted and he doesn't even know what he's doing or going anymore and is spiraling out of control.
Before he realizes it, he's walking in the cold night as it also starts raining.
The music starts fading as Franklins mental walk in the dark cold rain night is reaching even worse.
He passes almost nobody except some hood gangsters smoking a cigarette or some pedestrians.
However, Suddenly as he's about to pass out he's stopped.
He doesn't even realize who it is but is thrown into a white van like garbage.
Kell
Told yo ass you was coming to Vespucci…
Kell slams the door as Franklins vision blurs before he realizes he's being kidnapped.
Kell hops in the van passenger seat while another person drives while they both smoke cigarettes filling the van with smoke.
The Van eventually drives off into the night and the camera cuts.

Franklin wakes up battered in the dark van, confused but also remembers what happened.
Franklin (seeing reality for the first time in hours)
wtf…
Franklin's battered and tired eyes scan the van but sees nobody inside, he hears commotion outside so decides to climb into the front seat and look out the window.
Franklin sees he's on a beach next to a campfire where a bunch of Drug Dealers (including Kell who he sees) are cooking weed and what looks like Burnt Black Tar Heroin
Franklin
What the fuck…
Franklin realizes he has to escape but can't get killed so dials up Lamar intensely
The phone is ringing however after a few seconds the line goes dead
"What's up This is LD. If you a dude hang on my line rn, if you's a bitch… leave a message"
Franklin
Fuck!
Franklin accidentally bangs against the van causing one of the dealers to notice
Drug Dealer 1
Yo what the fuck was that?
Drug Dealer 2
It came from Yo Van Kell.
Kell gets up and pulls out a 9mm GLOCK.
The rest of the crew watch as they slowly and safely take their firearms out aswell.
Franklin sees Kell walking up to the van's back doors and slowly ducks down while also putting his hand on the passenger door.
Kell bangs on the door
Drug Dealer 3
Open that mothafucka.
Kell opens the back doors while at the same time Franklin opens the passenger door and sneaks out
Kell (scanning)
Who in this shit???
Franklin is now sneaking over to the stairs that lead to The Pier while crouching
Kell eventually exits the van
Kell
Must've been a fucking cockroach,
Drug Dealer 4
Oh hell nah N*gga I don't do bugs let's bounce.
The rest of The Drug Dealers get up leaving as Kell sees the party is over
Kell
Yall scary ass N*ggas.
Franklin is making his way up to the steps before someone shouts, causing his heart to drop.
Kell
AYO ITS THAT PUNK ASS N*GGA
Everyone finally finds the intruder being Franklin, and begin shooting and chasing at him
Franklin runs up the steps fast and is now trying to exit the pier as a shoutout has outbreaked
Franklin
Oh shit!!!
Franklin is exiting the pier but gets shot in the elbow
Franklin (raging)
FUCK!
Kell (chasing)
DONT RUN NOW PUNK ASS BOY
Suddenly, Sirens are heard and Red and Blue lights face the pier
Franklin is running to the cops while having to be dodged shots by Kell and the rest of the gangsters as it gets louder
"LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT EVERYONE FREEZE WITH THEIR HANDS UP!"
Franklin wants to stop and follow the law but knows if he does Kell is gonna kill him so as the pressure builds, he runs and jumps off the pier into the ocean in a very slow motion and cinematic light.
Franklin lands in the water and begins swimming away
Kell watches Franklin swim but while he's distracted, Police Brutality is enforced as he's suddenly slammed into The Pier Balcony and is handcuffed aggressively
Officer
- You got a g*n?
Officer (getting louder)
Do you have a g*n?
Other Officer
Take him down.
The Officer slams Kell brutally to the ground handcuffing him tighter and bending his shoulder
Kell (in pain)
My arm!
Officer
- Stop resisting!
Kell
- Hey, get the fuck!!!!!!!! off me!
Get off me!
Officer (tightening)
- Stop f*cking moving!
You hear me?
Kell for the first time feels like a Bitch and is lifted up by The Officer while angry tears stream down his face as he watches Franklin swim off
Officer
- You know them tears
ain't gonna save you, right?
Other Officer
- Hey, come on, man.
- Come on, Boy. Move it.
Kell is arrested into the dark night as The Camera zooms out into drown footage showing Franklin swim in the toxic waters running from his fears. hardship. and reality.
