"This… He's who you've let stay?" Severus said shocked. He schooled his expression quickly.
Eileen nodded, "Yes, I hadn't told you his name for a reason. I wasn't exactly sure how'd you react."
Her words were true. She wasn't sure how her son would react to the fact of who she lets stay with her during the summer. Eileen had a feeling maybe her son would have a few.. interesting words. Hopefully he would not, at least not in front of him.
"I suppose we could have a word later mother? If that is alright."
"Of course," Eileen sighed.
The boy, who had been staying with Eileen the past two summers, simply sat in one of the chairs and continued reading. How was he supposed to react? It didn't shock him finding out Professor Snape was Eileen's son. He had actually figured that out last summer.
It was pure luck each time Severus had visited his mother that Harry had been out of the house for whatever reason during that time. Not this time though. Severus himself wasn't completely sure what to think. Why was one of the Potter brats staying with his mother? He knew Rose Potter was spoiled rotten, so of course Harry Potter would be too.
Of course Severus knew something had to be wrong. He knew Harry wasn't a trouble maker like his twin sister nor like his father. He was quiet, on time, behaved, and did the work given. Not once had Severus had to take points from the boy or give him detention.
"Eileen?" Harry spoke up, shocking Severus out of his thoughts.
"Yes dear?"
"I will be going up to bed now, Goodnight Eileen," He smiled at her. "Goodnight Professor," Harry added on his way out.
"Potter?" Severus questioned as he sat down on the loveseat, his mother sat on the chair across.
"Indeed."
