The following day Hadrian and his Grandfather arrived at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, the sole purpose of their visit was to discover the truth of Hadrian's Paseltongue abilities, and where they come from. The inheritance test will show if his abilities are passed on genetically or if not they can find out where they came from by other means.
Once they arrived they were brought before the Director of the bank Barchoak they were then brought into the legacy chamber where Hadrian would give drops of his blood upon the Legacy Sphere and it will show any prominent inheritances on the individual.
Hadrian took the ceremonial blade and cut the tip of his index finger and allowed his blood to drop onto the sphere, where on contact it began to shine brightly and within the glass orb the crest of House Slytherin appeared, that was the proof, Hadrian was the true heir of Slytherin, Orion had a wide smile on his face, upon Hadrian and his return to Grimmald Place they along with Sirius conversed about this new development about the Black family heir it was decided that for the time being it was to remain secret between them, but would allow those who Hadrian chooses to know the truth.
Two months later the day Hadrian Black had been waiting for, it was time to go to Hogwarts. Hadrian was escorted to King cross Station and Platform 9 once he had safely stored his trunk, which was had one Hogwarts uniform removed because Hadrian did not feel like changing clothes more than necessary. He allowed Hedwig to fly ahead that way she would not be bored by being cooped up in a cage. Hadrian and Shadowscale discovered through Parselmagic as Hadrian's familiar could transform into a tattoo and attach himself on Hadrian's skin and only react in defense of his master or if told to.
Hadrian quickly found an empty cart. And took a seat by the window and waited for the train to start it's journey to Scotland. It was a half hour later the Hogwarts Express started and left Platform 9.
Hadrian was enjoying the scenery outside the window in his nearly completely empty train cart. A couple hours passed when he had heard a commotion outside his compartment he decided to see what was happening he saw boy his age who looked awful like an albino ferret with slicked back blonde hair, who was accompanied boy two larger boys who looked more related to trolls rather than wizards, the three were standing over a cubby boy who was looked afraid of his own shadow, and standing in front of that boy seemingly shielding him, was a young girl with bushy brown hair, chocolate brown eyes who's hands on her hips trying to look intimidating which Hadrian found to be adorably cute.
"Give back Neville's toad, please before I tell a prefect." The girl said in a firm voice.
The blonde ferret looked at her in disgust, before muttering a word under his breath but Hadrian reading his lips understood he said "Mudbloods" , before speaking down to the boy called Neville saying "How pathetic can you be Longbottom, coming to Hogwarts with a toad as a pet, well a pathetic pet for the Squib of House Longbottom surely fitting now that I think about."
The blonde nuisance began to laughed as if he said the world's funniest joke, completely ignoring the girl as if she didn't exist. The boy Neville Longbottom meekly asked him once more for his toad "Malfoy please give me back Trevor ?"
The blonde was now identified as Malfoy, Hadrian knew exactly who he was "Draco Malfoy, son of Lucius And Narcissa Malfoy", Malfoy looked ever so amused by Neville's weak begging before he vindictively spoke to the poor boy again "You know I hear Tiads are excellent potion ingredients and I don't think I quite stocked up enough of them." Malfoy raised his hand to the horrified faces of Neville and the girl who defended him showing them he intended to kill the toad by crushing him in his hands.
By this time Hadrian had enough, and whispered with his wand in hand the incantation " Accio" while focusing on the toad as it flew into Hadrian's off hand. As he caught the toad whilst not even looking leaning his back against his compartment door. All eyes present were on him, The boys looked at him wary and stunned, the girl looked at him more curiously, but blushed in what she believed was the first time by seeing his face look up in there direction.
Hadrian spoke out condescendingly.
"Really the heir of the Noble House Malfoy, behaving like a common Muggle bully, my it appears your parents have been severely lacking in teaching you the subtleties of one bearing such a title, a bigger failure still from someone who aims to be apart of Slytherin House, I would expect this unbecoming behavior from a Lion, not from a snake."
Malfoy looked as if he bit into a lemon he obviously did not enjoy being talked down to in such a manner.
"How dare you, talk to me as if we are on equal standing, I will not be insulted in such a way!" Malfoy boldly declared, especially at the large gathering of students who came to investigate the loud voices they heard.
Hadrian merely smirked before, responding to Malfoy's grandstanding, "Well how would you like me to insult you I take request?" The crowd of students laughed at his joke, even the Bushy haired girl covered her mouth to stifle her laugh, but Hadrian continued. "And of course your absolutely correct we are not in the same social standing."
Malfoy looked smug before Hadrian turned towards him with a vicious glare, the sent shivers down his spine, "You are far beneath me, as he walked towards him griped his Shoulder tightly causing discomfort and whispered into Draco's ear something that most do not know about his family and would hate for it to be exposed. "Sheep Herder" . The Malfoy family was originally from France, and Were Sheep Herders, that had sought favor with King John the Muggle monarch of England during the Crusades, his ancestor managed to buy a lordship from one of worst rulers of Britain at the time, they married into more magically powerful families over many generations creating more powerful wizards, but later producing just average ones of late, still they came along way from a Family of basically Squibs.
Malfoy took his two bookend bodyguards with him swearing revenge to the Upstart who held sensitive information on his family, Hadrian tossed Neville his Toad before turning to his compartment door, but the girl stopped him, "You could get in trouble for that, you know?" She said.
Hadrian scoffed before stating "And thought I was going to like you."
The girl looked offended at his statement, demanding what exactly did he mean by that. Hadrian answered in a irritated tone, saying she was the type to never question authority and just blindly follow the rules. She argued that rules were meant to be followed and must be followed.
Hadrian once again laughed, before speaking once more. "That is annoyingly naïve Miss?"
"Hermione Granger!" She answered hotly. But Hadrian continued on "Well Ms. Granger here's a lesson that you should learn sooner rather than later, the only rules in life that matter are these What a person can do, and what a person can't do, See I could've told someone about this little interaction, and hope the resolve it quickly and effectively which I doubt that they would prioritize a simple school squabble, or I can take the direct approach and deal with it myself, you for instance can accept that or you can't, but either way I can't find it in my heart to give a damn about such childish concepts. "
Hadrian then enter his compartment and closed the blinds as well as lock the door, leaving a Stunned and quite miffed Hermione Granger, That moment the two thought that they would hate the other forever, but time and experience change many things and sometimes faster than we think it would.
Hadrian as of this moment awaited for the moment of their arrival, so his education and future can finally begin.
