Elizabeth plans for lunch with Nathan with no interruptions...

This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell. This part 2 and picks up where part 1 left off.

A modern day twist to When Calls the Heart/Hope Valley. Elizabeth Thornton is returning home to Hope Valley after three years away. She's newly single and finally past grieving her late husband. This story mainly picks up after S10 of the show but, in this reimagining, Elizabeth left Hope Valley not long after breaking Nathan's heart and choosing Lucas.

This will be a journey back and forth in time in the relationship between Nathan Grant and Elizabeth Thornton. An emotional journey of these two in very different timeslots. After Elizabeth's decision to pursue a relationship with Lucas Bouchard, Nathan decided to leave Hope Valley but left something for Elizabeth that causes her more turmoil than she thought she ever has to face.

Elizabeth Thatcher and Nathan Grant meet while studying, her to be a Teacher, him a Mountie. While the attraction is instantaneous, they know now is not the right time for them; they are both about to graduate and head out on their first assignment, not knowing where that could take them. Will their life's journey lead them to love?

Starts with Elizabeth and Jack meeting an orphan girl with a troubled family life. Follows the drama, adventures and love of Elena Sheperd.

The decision made at the end of Season 8 is tough to understand - especially watching Elizabeth go from such confusion at the beginning of 8.12 to such certainty at the end. How does that happen? This is my attempt at constructing a potential thought process for Elizabeth that we never saw play out on screen.

It all starts for Elizabeth on a sister's trip to Oahu. Lucas is there to reconnect with his girlfriend. How do they meet?

Nathan and Elizabeth have just shared their first kiss together. What was going through Nathan's mind, as Elizabeth poured her heart out and confessed her love to him? What happened after the screen went to black? Written from Nathan's POV, this is my take on what could have happened that night, and the days after, they finally allowed their souls to collide.

Elizabeth Thatcher, a recent graduate from Stanford needs a break from her recent breakup. She looks on the internet and finds an ad for help at a state park... Anxious to change her life completely, she packs up all her belongings and heads to her new job. Who will she meet, what obstacles will she endure? Will she be able to find something to make her feel valued again?

Nathan and Elizabeth are finally married and off on their honeymoon. It's a new journey for the blissful couple, and their time to bask in the glow of newfound intimacy. This story is a continuation of When Hearts Shine Bright.

This story takes place after the season 11 finale (assuming that there's a time jump–even though we were told there won't be, and ignoring the cliffhanger in the finale). It's based on one of my favorite tropes, as well as something we haven't seen on When Calls the Heart in a while, real danger. I hope you all enjoy!

*Modern day version of L&R's love story* Rosie LeVeaux, the local newspaper reporter, is searching for her next big story when she meets Hope Valley's new mayor, Lee Coulter, who is in need of publicity to boost his name in small town politics. Rosie is smitten by him and jumps at the chance to help Lee and her growing paper. Will there be more than friendship & collaboration?

Elizabeth and Nathan work together to solve a mutual issue of attraction. Definitely Hallmark afterdark themes. Definitely out of character moments. Definitely not my usual fare.

Takes place as soon as the season 4 christmas episode ends. Winter is over, and Spring is blossoming in hope valley and so is Jack and Elizabeth's relationship. Will they be able to face anything that comes their way?

I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.
