Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: If anyone noticed continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now her in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 121: New Futures And Fresh Starts VII: Time's Arrow and Recovery VII

"He's trying to escape you, and you're refusing to leave him alone, only now he can, with you trapped in that hospital, in all your cases. You took him and now you think you own him, but no, that young man has his teenage self trapped in his adult body. You're like the sick sadistic marquis on that German ring he mentioned, you saw his upper body frame. And then took him, and now you think you own him here." he said and Jack swallowed hard at that remark then.
And they saw a key in the lock the, before he saw, on closer inspection the very tiny initials J.O. then and on it and nodded sternly then. "Well Uncle Brandon, there's your direct opinion, this is not even a passive attempt at suicide now. I'm not even close to that, and our conversation, there's an opening now. Just how stupid do they think you and Dave are exactly here, as if someone really wanted to kill themselves, they'd get a gun.'
"And shoot themselves, or jump off a bridge or the balcony, they're not sitting here watching tv, contemplating retirement. Preparing to transfer sectors right now, under the other psychiatric uncle right now.' they heard and Hoffman nodded in stern agreement to that. "Point taken, and we'd see you if you had been standing there, and you were stargazing." Pantoliano said and Jones nodded sternly in agreement to that thought then.
"And to say this now, it's not pertinent here, this is no passive attempt, it's not a real one and if there's evidence lying around, we have enough to call attempted murder. When Joe is living right below you." Roebuck said and they all went pale, as they never checked the names. Of said cops living in the apartment building, nor they ever check to see that the apartment manager. Was living directly below Daniel's apartment, that he would see him if he had been there.
"Agreed here, people that would really want to kill themselves would get a gun and shoot themselves, or jump off the balcony or bridge. They would not be sitting there, watching tv, waiting for the Nembutal overdose to kick in. All the while preparing to transfer under the other psychiatric uncle and calling him, before he does it." Hoffman said sternly and Jack swallowed hard then in fear, realizing they screwed up at that, as this didn't even sound like Daniel.
He just gave him and Henderson enough to have him, Makepeace and Maybourne arrested for attempted murder. "Twenty yellows, and you're trying to convince me here, that he's depressed to the point of attempted suicide. That I bet if we ran a toxicology report on his body and found nothing, but non alcoholic cider in his system. We'd know this is no attempted suicide, but rather attempted murder and when we all know, that you have a key to his apartment here now."
"No forced entry." Coyote said sternly and Jack swallowed hard, realizing he screwed up completely, as he forgot to check the cabinet to find the pills. "He's not on that crap anyway here right now, he stuck to Valium, knowing passed two is lethal, in the yellows." Warner said and they and Stone nodded sternly. "Uh huh, but mixing it with alcohol, you're going to kill yourself and why would you attempt that, directly after calling us, doesn't make sense."
"So clearly this is not attempted suicide, when you find a switchblade on the floor, and you never carry around a switch, like you're a Greaser." Hoffman said and he went white, realizing he was 13 in 1965, the time-frame for the book and only Greasers. Then, in self defense, carried switchblades and he chose the clothing of a Greaser, during their shot to '69. "I was born a Soc, sure I'm traveled alot, but my family was Soc, not Greaser." Daniel said to that gently then.
"And there's the evidence, this is no suicide attempt, but rather attempted murder, if you had spoken to Brandon, before calling me next. I know this is an attempted set up, after you told them you're leaving and we're passing the alpha gate to Hank. We keep the beta gate and gate travel, SGC side is called for the next 2 years." Hammond said to that gently. "I must have just come from his apartment, if Dustin arrived, before me." Coyote said and Barnes nodded sternly.
"I had and I found it looking like a murder scene, there was blood all over the floor, and the tub, I checked the fridge and found 20 more bottles of the serum. And checked his safe, and found 1/4 of the number he saved up from his parents account missing. And Jerry told me, it was meant to upgrade the security at the apartment building now. Putting the cassette tapes into a small briefcase, I brought them back with me, and we spent 8 days pouring over his reports."
"The last one, the one we just heard, told me everything I needed to know, he set them up, and we yanked him out, as enough was enough now. I knew him, and knew this for a fact, why would he consider suicide and after we just told him now. There's an opening on our unit again, get the team back together, Derek and Rose. They wanted to see him, and he decided immediately, time to come home, to us again now." he said and Coyote and Hoffman nodded.
"Like I said, you, as Brandon, he been listening to you way too much lately, it's clear you're his favorite actor in the parental side of things, a clear replicate, in personality. Of Brandon himself right now." Stone said and he nodded smiling, as he crossed his arms. "You speak to me and Peter, before we showed up on the base the following morning." he asked and Daniel nodded. "Yeah I just got off the phone with you, before I was on the balcony." he said to him gently then.
"So they had no idea who the voice belongs, if they tapped the line to realize retirement was in order, I was coming by the base the following morning to come get you. As it could be any of my characters, and in the end, it was me, as Brandon." he said and they all went white in fear, realizing the tapping of the line, never gave the voice a name. Just to realize he was talking to Henderson, Barnes, Patterson and Levy, and he was transferring, whether they agreed then.
Or not finally, they were coming to get him either way. "Well back it up then, you're on the phone with us, and before heading onto the balcony to stargaze." Streisand said and he nodded, as he restarted the episode from the beginning. As he dialed a number gently, as they saw them on the computer. "Hey Danny, what's going on exactly here." he asked and he smiled. "Just considered retirement right now, if there's an opening." he said and they smiled.
"Yeah there is, we have 10 true, but having you back, that's perfect right now, Jake said these guys all lost their minds during Hathor right now. But the reveal is enough to get them completely in trouble now." he said and Daniel nodded then. "Uncle Brandon, my job with the SGC just came to an end, they murdered the sole cause I joined. And by taking too long here right now, and couldn't care less, but you remember here."
"About Mac's title lesson in anthropology right now?" he asked and he nodded, as Coyote crossed his arms. "They did exactly as we said never to do, and drank the marriage elixir now here." he said and they nodded sternly. "So to them if the words are never said that doesn't count, yeah a bunch of ignorant grunts, your job is an art. For those of us that take the job seriously, good news, Jim's been transferred to my department."
"So your reassignment, in the archeology/anthropology department is under him now, but having you back, 4 years is really too much, too long son. We all miss you here, time to come home now, kiddo." he said and he smiled at him then gently, and Jack started shaking in fear, he hadn't seen him in 4 years now. That was only a cover, they were waiting for this, him to get assigned to the program and just so they could have him confined now then.
"Oh I see what's going on, you been working with the program psychiatric services here, and they never knew that, and when West assigned Jack to the program. I chose you at the same time, and Lou's reaction was meant to protect you, when Ra showed up. But he murdered half the team by bringing that bomb, and now even Charlie is dead." Catherine said and they nodded. "Exactly, that's exactly what we decided." Carson said and Hammond crossed his arms.
"And I just played along, but his scream of I can't send that bomb, is what sealed his fate in my eyes, he's dangerously unstable, and I knew this. And I started warming up to Danny again, as the months went by in my eyes, till we reached his breaking my car window." he said gently then and Jack swallowed hard, realizing he never had the General fooled at all then. He knew, his insanity showed in everyway possible, and Daniel had enough of the undercover ops finally.
"Four years, the four of us hadn't seen Danny in 4 years, yeah we can make that work, as Michael never kept pictures of us lying around, for them to realize we were his family. Team family, and the quartet of slightly elderly parental family that all adored him." Streisand said smiling and Hoffman and Coyote nodded. "Issues in the team, you sent me the files, and I had pictures of Sam, Sharon, Dave and Liev, and the quartet scattered across the table there."
"You 4 I knew, it was the 8 I didn't know, and we decided Dave and I were swapping turns, so one shift is me, the next was David, so I knew this. And I had your latest team files lying on coffee table then, the files only told it, in half the story. Just to know who I was working with now, I had to speak to them face to face, that was a set up the next morning. And when you both arrived on the base." he said and they both smiled sternly and Sam swallowed hard.
"Dead man walking here." Arquette said, as he started laughing and he nodded smiling. "Well you only do horror movies so far, what do you expect here." he asked and he started laughing. "Good point, I never took stock in psychological sci fi thrillers, though I did a cameo on the muppets last year, along with Josh Jackson." he said and Daniel nodded. "Right, he's playing Pacey Witter, and that kid, not him, but Dawson, is self absorbed and materialistic in truth."
"Which appears to be the normal here." he said and Jack swallowed hard then, realizing the teenager was him at 18, before he went into the military, and became a cold blooded killer. "Well you have the personality of Josh entirely, as Pace Witter." he said and Daniel nodded gently. "And to quote him, after they forgot his sweet 16 now." he said sternly and she started shaking in fear, realizing out of their own self absorbed desire, to protect themselves then finally then.
They forgot his birthday. "Do you see this look on my face that I'm trying so hard to conceal, it's has nothing to do with my birthday. It has nothing to do with the visions she left me, and it certainly has nothing to do with Linea right now. It has to do with the stark realization that everyone in SGC has either written me off, demanding me unworthy. Of their time or their concerns and the conclusion that I came to today, on my 34th birthday no less now."
"Is that my best friend in the world, now looks at me the very same way, you can't fix this, everything is different now, and frankly, I can't live like this anymore." he said, as he looked away from the camera in pain and she swallowed hard at that. As if that wasn't the bashing of a lifetime in her case, nothing ever was and now his real team. And family, could be there for him when he needed them, as Walker, Collins, Parker and the rest of their team crossed their arms.
As he wiped the tears off his face, his eyes red, as he struggled to control the absolute pain in him, she herself had strewn on him and Jacob nodded. "The last time I saw that look on your face was after Kenny now." he said and he nodded. "This is worse then Kenny, much worse." he said to him gently and he nodded. "You, in your cold blooded cruelty, forgot the date last month didn't you, July 8th?" Barnes asked sternly then and she started shaking in fear at that now.
Now realizing she had at the time at the remark. "I wish I bailed out, taken her to Cimmeria, and we got the damn snake out, but the clock ran out. I have nothing left to give there in the SGC, they'll never listen to me, and keep doing what they're doing. And till it nearly kills them, so what's the point, if not retirement and resignation from the SGC. Then transfer me to another sector, at least then my real family remembers dates, and we spend all our time together."
"They just cast aside Sha're's death, before Linea now, but my birthday was around the time of us finding Kyle now, and out of multiple missions. And their self absorbed desire to protect themselves, I was alone now, no one to celebrate my 34th with me now." he said and she started shaking in fear and they nodded. "Yeah we can fix that definitely, but this just shows how far into the dumps now here, they fell, in this psychosis now." he said sternly to this then.
"Agreed, a better life here, we're your real team, and they're about to have their own birthdays forgotten, in this desire to protect yourself now. Self obsessed and materialistic now in truth, it's clear everything is forfeit to save themselves here. Yeah okay right now, everything is forfeit to protect yourself, including you deliberately ignoring said date." Levy said and she and Jack went white, if that wasn't payback in the face of their cold blooded cruelty, nothing ever was now.
They were both in the hospital and missing having friends at their houses for a birthday party now. "You see what happens when you never let something go, you get it thrown back at you now Colonel, you deliberately forgot his birthday. And now it's his turn right now, and you're trapped in that hospital for the next 7 months now. And till we decide to let you out, no one to share your birthday with you, no one to celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving and other holidays."
"Now with you, so tell me, was this worth all your attempts to turn this back on him, because you're not strong enough right now." Hammond said and he swallowed hard at that. "I had nothing left to give here and my only option was reassignment now finally. Being around my real family, and the SGC is not family, only co workers, only now it's not even that. My real family is here, and we, the team, are engaged in everything." Daniel said and Landry nodded sternly.
"These teams are carrying 12 to 13 members each, and at times whoever it is takes turns, one shift is one person, the next another. So the sphere is Daniel, as he'd be busy with anthropology find, and then shift off." Barnes explained and Hammond nodded smiling. "I been reassigned to Hank Landry, so could you come in the morning, to come get me. I've gained medical technology from last year's mission should be enough to set them up."
"Because it's the serum, the chromosome enhancer that they're about to use in the next edition to the Doom games." he said and he nodded. "Yeah David and I are coming to get you, but it doesn't matter what they say, same rank maybe. But we're your parents, and what we say goes, I'm going to look into the side effects. And of that pheromone, if it's what I think they're trying to break you, but it could be, in truth."
"Erotomania, and if that's the case we have to get you out of there permanently, it doesn't matter what they say or how much they argue. You're not coming back to the SGC ever again, it could be permanent, though it is. They just undid the progress I put into healing you from Powell now, but frankly you're looking far too thin baby." he said and Daniel nodded. "They all snapped mentally." he said and he nodded sternly then.
"Got it, and they argue all they want, nothing changes anything, so I'll see you in the morning son." he said and he nodded. "You too Uncle Brandon, Uncle Dave, see you tomorrow." he said and they nodded and Hammond nodded. "Hence the attempted murder looking like a suicide now, they were trying to keep you at the SGC. By claiming you tried to kill yourself, only how can we believe that, when you drank the serum." he said sternly to that.
And Jack swallowed hard in fear then, realizing that was exactly the point, as he hung up the link between them, and stretched then. And as he moved to the balcony, and seeing a black van that had no license plate then and nodded. 'Yeah thought so, they tapped it, only 27 hours and I'm free of this rathole, alright here. My undercover operation just ended and my family are forcefully yanking me out of this now.' they heard sternly to this in relief.
As he walked back into the apartment then, and sat down over his notes, in the privacy of his apartment. You guys really are an idiot right now, we knew you were likely to tap the line, after your interrogating him just two weeks prior on why he's leaving now. Just so you can keep him from leaving now." Levy said and Jack started shaking in fear, as he watch him as he got everything that he needed to prove his ex best friend at the time, his marine counterpart.
And everyone they duped into believing he was the traitor set up, as he put a tape deck into the radio. "This must have been he decided to drop the act in the psychiatric undercover, and was ready to retire." Barnes said to this then. 'If this doesn't do it, nothing ever does, because I'm getting Sarah, the guys. And my family, and we're getting the hell off the continent.' they heard sternly, as he activated the radio, and spoke into it, as he hid a sigh.
"August 21, 1999: Well I just told them the truth, I'm considering hunting down the baby, get to him, before the renegades do. But knowing they'd never let me leave, I got the gear prepped and ready, so they take the bait. And assault me at my own apartment, Jack just sealed his fate, because he made a fatal mistake 6 months ago. During our incarceration, as it just says it all, the effects are now permanent then."
"And their training as MIS interrogators is permanently stuck in the on position, that I want to get out here, because I can't keep this up much longer. So one more stunt, they sealed their fates and I'm out of here, I'm playing the part of a secret agent. But my time is over, and my retirement is on the horizon, but knowing they'd never. Now, leave me alone, it's vacating the continental US altogether and getting the heck."
"Now out of dodge, and taking my friends and family with me, I'm going back to Sarah, going home and we leave the states. But knowing they're chasing me all over the place, from one country to the next, one planet to the next. Via Maybourne's retrieval team now, it's putting us and the others, inside a heavily fortified fortress. As my inner cub wants the cage, it needs the cage, so there is only one option here."
"Said I have return to the Navy and back to my team, childhood team, under Uncle Brandon, I been waiting for this reposting. And for 18 months, if the base is fully fortified now, it's time to take the reassignment. The SGC, that no longer exists, the duo as I once knew them, no longer exist, in fact they never existed. They're MIS, and therefore my enemies, the SGC is a forefront for NID." he said into it and nodded sternly.
As he hid that tape deck, inside the pillow case, he kept the others, as he remembered the last one he made, just 2 weeks prior, after the funeral. 'You people never know when to stop do you, if Mckenzie knows about your infliction. This means like you, he needs to make sure you never get captured by Shyla's courts now. Well sorry gentlemen, you did this to yourselves, you be the ones to change yourselves back.' They heard sternly to this
And played back the tape deck. "August 07, 1999: it's been 4 months since Machello's aftermath. And I just recovered, but once again, they're still convinced, I'm not sure. If I should keep this up or just pull the plug, because they're getting worse right now. Well anymore stunts, and they blow their get out of jail free card." he heard his voice say, as he sat there, seeing his paper work, on the destinations, to where Kheb was then.
When in the Ancient database. "This should help right now with a fast study in theology." he said to himself smiling softly, as he unscrewed the bottle with a red cap, with the flag symbol for France on it, as he unscrewed the cap and smiled then. 'Thank god I brought that with me out here, thank you Shyla for the help right now, I know this is not the serum or the elixir.' he thought with a stern smile, as he saw the message, and knowing then now.
That she snuck 10 bottles into his gear then, in case of emergencies. "Smart move highness and thank you for the help with lunatics like this in the military, you just gave us enough to call. This is not a passive attempt at suicide, but rather attempted murder right now, in truth. And when we know they tapped the line, and waited till he fell asleep after drinking it." Hammond said and Sam swallowed hard, realizing said keys were the conclusive evidence to the authorities.
As he read the message. 'Dear my love, we figured if they, the red soldiers, try anything else, this should help, this, like the serum and the elixir, is created with the sarcophagus. Healing any fatal injuries, but if you have a media game like this, then there's your explanation, it effects the genomes, turning you into a stronger version of Jaffa. Only you're human, but stronger, faster, smarter, your cells divide 75x's faster.
Then normal, so you can heal almost immediately, it also erases any marks now. That are making it look like you tried to hurt your self, and replaces it with the evidence. That shows someone assaulted you, just come back to me soon, it's time, if you found her, we stay friends, but if you lost her again, we have a chance to start over. "Nice effect right now, so we can see this as it's preparing to evacuate right now." Hammond said and he nodded gently then at that, as they saw him looking over his notes. In the privacy of his apartment, he got everything he needed to prove his ex best friend, his marine counterpart.
"Thanks beautiful, I can use this tonight, if they try it now." he said smiling gently then, as he unscrewed the bottle and took a whiff. "That's the invulnerability serum?" Jacob asked and he nodded and they smiled. "Nice thinking right now son, that's classic." Hammond said smiling as he saw him swallowing it then and smiled gently. "You really should have left well enough alone, he's like me, when I played Kimble now." Harrison said and Jack swallowed hard then.
"Yeah that's really good right now, well time to finish the research here, so Kheb, yeah I know I have to find him. But first, I have to keep my promise, well time for a TNG marathon tonight." they heard gently to this then and as as he poured himself a second glass, and watched season 3, as he dozed off and fall asleep. In watching tv, before hearing a noise, and waking up at hearing something, a noise in the room, and realizing someone then.
Had unlocked his apartment door, his eyes snapped open and looked around the room and before his eyes landed. And on Colonel Harold Maybourne. But before he could scream for help, they covered his mouth. Before dragging him into the bathroom. And cutting his wrists, turning the water on high, before leaving the bathroom at that. Waiting till they were gone, he switched off the water, as he cleaned off his wrists, and smiled as they saw no trace of a knife, scalpel.
Or razor blade there. 'Whoa, that's some fast acting healing serum, this is amazing right now, okay where's the assault scars exactly.' They heard in amazement then, as he removed his soaked shirt, and then saw his stomach, with a very fresh line. And 3 times, to different spots to his stomach then. 'Okay, I have 30 minutes, before the anemia starts kicking in right now, so make this believable, I'm SGA, not SGC, SGA are scientists."
'We can simulate it, in a forensics attempted murder scene, so here we go, the SGA is civil services, once the cops find this, and they're going to lose it here. This is illegal and the SGA has more power then the NID, who else besides Maybourne attacked me exactly here?' They heard sternly to this, and Hoffman crossed his arms, knowing once the manager saw him, he was calling the cops, as he went to the front door firmly at that

"Dead man walking here, you are so dead right, we all know he chose not to give up here." Austin said and Jack swallowed hard at that.
"Dad, listen to me carefully here, but last week after Linea, I decided on sabbatical here, in going after the baby, well that made the duo desperate enough. To try attempted murder, yeah they crossed it, I got a positive, Maybourne was here. And his accomplice, though wearing a ski mask, he left evidence lying around, it's Jack." he said and nodded. "Well that's plenty of incriminating evidence." Hoffman said to this sternly.
"No kidding that's plenty right now." Jacob said, in total disgust at what his daughter was caught up in. "No I'm calling the cops, we're taking them by surprise, and arm all the cops with intars, to prevent an escape. Yeah SGA arrest, Sanderson is level black, I out rank them in clearance, so we're going red alert. And placing them under arrest, get Lou, Jared, Dave and Annie up here." he said and nodded then as he answered him then.

Hoffman translated then and Jack went white in fear, realizing he called out arrest orders for all of them.
