F3: Welcome to chapter 6 of the Neptunia story. IF and Neptune have met the human Croire and looks like her father could be in trouble. Hyperdimension Neptunia is owned by Idea Factory and Compile Heart. With that said Let's Get Started.

Chapter 6: Trouble from Home.

Meanwhile at Lastation, Noire was going over some paperwork as she waiting for a call from her contact as she hoped that they found where the person of interest is and hopefully Rei Ryghts would be able to answer some questions for them about what she was doing long ago. Still it couldn't help but make her worry about what this Project Liberator was all about and what it could be for. Noire only hoped that she was wrong.

After placing another paper on the files that were completed she noticed that was the last paper on her desk and now she had complete free time for herself.

"Huh? For the first time I've completed all of my work and yet its not even past noon yet. Now what to do for the rest of the day?" Noire asked herself as she thought and then figured that Uni wasn't busy as the moment so she thought it would be nice to for the two of them to spend some sisterly time together.

So she got up from her chair and walked out of her office to go find Uni. Luckily she didn't have to look very far as she heard gunshots coming from the gun range that was specifically built for not only her guards but for Uni to train her weapon.

She saw Uni down at the gun range as she was very focused on her target ahead of her firing shot after shot with almost ridiculous accuracy. Then after she finished shoot she checked on her target and not much to her surprise each shot was a direct hit. Uni sighed at this almost not even surprised by the result.

"Keeping your shooting sharp sis." Noire said surprising Uni.

"O-Oh. Big sis. I thought you were still working." Uni added.

"I actually got everything done rather quickly. Guess I've gotten so used to it I found some of the loopholes." Noire replied.

"That's good." Uni said with a smile as she might actually get some sister time with Noire.

"So... what do you want to do today?" Noire asked.

"Um... well... maybe lunch in the park?" Uni questioned a little nervous.

"Hm... it certainly has been a while since we've done that... okay. I'll prep something and then we'll head out." Noire said which brought a smile to Uni.

They headed inside as Norie went into the kitchen to find some stuff to pack for a picnic. She found bread along with some lunch meat and of course Uni's favorite, chedder chesse slices. She packed them into a basket that would be rather easy to carry. Noire also grabbed a bundle of apples to go with it so they wouldn't spoil their lunch.

"Alright. I'm ready to head out." Noire called out as Uni grabbed a large blanket that they would sit on while out on their picnic.

Having everything ready the two sisters headed out of the basilicom and walked down the streets of Lastation. It took them about ten minutes to find where they were going as it was a lavishing green park with a small pond in the middle. Tall trees stood out with their freshly green leaves as the winds blew fluttering the leaves.

"I haven't been in this place in a while. A good place to unwind for a bit." Noire said as they found a spot to sit down near the pond as Uni unrolled the blanket as Noire placed the basket down and started to get the item she brought out of the basket. Uni and Noire began making some sandwiches for each other and ate their lunch.

Noire let out a reliving sigh "This is a great idea Uni. Just something we both need in a while. Being cooped up in the basilicom for a long time can make some go stir crazy." Noire said.

"Yeah. Sounds like Neptune might be rubbing off on you a bit sis." Uni added which got a little blush out of Noire.

"Not going to say she's rubbed off on me but a few of her habits of taking a break once in a while." Noire said with a small smile.

However the sisters simple outing was interrupted by the sound of her phone going off as Noire groaned.

"Whoever is calling had better make this important." Noire said as she answered her phone.

"Yes. This is Noire." Noire spoke into her phone.

"Hey. It's Sonya. Fuuki has found her. Want to come by?" Sonya asked.

"She found Rei. Well that's good news. Are we going to Fuuki's place?" Noire asked.

"Yeah. You know where it is?" Sonya asked.

"Of course I do. Me and Uni will come by." Noire replied.

"Cool. See you then." Sonya finished as Noire hung up.

"I'm guess they've found where Rei is." Uni said as Noire nodded.

"Yeah. We'll drop these off at home and then head to Fuuki's. I know where she is." Noire said as they picked everything up and began walking back to the basilicom before going to Fuukis home.

Meanwhile back in Lowee Kaito was suddenly waiting in the CPU's main office as he was suddenly brought up to speak with Blanc. He wondered what she was needing him to talk about, or maybe it was more concerning about her oracle was acting strangely in which he already knows.

The door opened behind him as he saw that it was the CPU herself walking toward him. Blanc walked past him and went behind her desk and sat down as their was a cup of tea waiting for her already.

"Glad that you could see me at this time Mr. Itoma. I'm sorry if my guards were a little insistant." Blanc replied.

"No apology needed Lady Blanc. Though I do have to ask what this is all about? I still have some patients that need my attention." Kaito added.

"This won't take too long. I just have a few questions to ask you." Blanc said.

"I'll answer it to the best of my ability." Kaito said calmly.

"Alright so I'll put it plainly. What is Project Liberator?" Blanc question staring directly at him.

Kaito froze a moment almost like he was suddenly hit by a blizzard that froze him to his core.

"L-Lady Blanc... where did you hear something like that?" Kaito asked back.

"Oh so that means you have heard of it before right." Blanc replied as she brought out her tablet and shown him the two videos that showed he was involved in both videos.

"Care to explain Mr. Itoma that you and this group decided to play god and create life. Give me a good reason that I don't place you in a jail cell for this." Blanc added.

"... Lady Blanc. I understand how this looks and it places me a bad light but if you'll allow me to explain I'll be happy to tell you everything." Kaito said.

Blanc stared at him for a moment before giving him a small nod in approval.

"It was about five years ago while you and the other goddesses where fighting above in The Great Plains it was nothing but hardship down here in Lowee. Myself, alongside my wife and daughter we were surviving to say the least but that was all we were doing just trying to get through the day. However everything changed for the worse for us." He began.

"My daughter fell greatly ill from a sickness that we couldn't combat against. She was bedridden. Me and my wife thought using our expertise in medicine we could try and find the source of it but with the winter snow it froze everything. So in a desperate attempt we tried to call out to you but... it was too late. Our daughter past in her sleep. She was only eleven years old." He continued.

"My wife blamed the goddesses and their war with each other that this happened. I never believed it but our day wasn't done when we were approached by someone. He was a high ranking professor for Lastation. Dextor Grimm." Kaito replied.

Blanc put a hand to her chin "Hm... I think I've heard of him before. He was exiled from his nation due to illegal experimenations." Blanc answered.

"Yeah. He alongside other scientist wanted us to join them in creating something that he said would solve all of our problems. He dubbed it Project Liberator. A project that would be used to create a goddesses that would not only be on par with you and the others but surpass. In our anger we wholeheartly agreed. Not even knowing what we were diving into." Kaito said.

"So you were angry and joined him and the other scientists. What happened after that?" Blanc asked.

"Well... as you saw in the video it was succesful. Even implemented a CPU Memory Core into it as well. Though when time went on something... changed in the both of us." Kaito said softly.

"What kind of change?" Blanc asked.

"We didn't want to continue on in his plans after the infant was created and started the growth cycle. We had to do something to stop this. So me and my wife devised a plan but in order to do that we knew that we'd have to separate from each other. My wife would cause a distraction that would give me an opportunity to escape with the creation." Kaito said.

"So you took it with you? Why?" Blanc questioned.

"...We both agreed that what we've stepped into something we shouldn't have. Yes we were angry but now... creating that wasn't going to be our answer. Our daughter is still dead." Kaito answered.

"Believe me Lady Blanc this isn't my intention to hurt you or the other CPUs. We were angry and distraught." Kaito said again.

Blanc hummed a moment as she was delibrating with herself as to what to say next. However she greeted him with a small smile.

"I believe you Kaito. You were honest with me and didn't hide anything from me. I'm glad that you told me." Blanc replied keeping that same smile.

"Thank you for believing in me Lady Blanc." Kaito said.

"Besides it would've been really bad for Rom and Ram. Those two are fans of yours." Blanc replied.

"Yeah. Though they really look up to you. Even if I can hear you screaming bloody murder at them." He said making Blanc blush slightly.

"I better get going. I don't want IF waiting on me." He said as he got up from his chair and began to head for the door.

However just as he was about to leave he heard footsteps rushing toward the door. Then the door opened revealing IF panting.

"IF. What are you doing here?" Kaito asked.

"You weren't home and I know you had an early shift today so I came to see what was keeping you." IF answered.

"Well... me and Blanc were just talking. I was just about to head home." Kaito replied before he patted her head.

"Now let's go home." Kaito added making her blush.

"Dad stop it." IF pouted not liking him ruffling her hair as they both headed out.

However Blanc watched them leave and listened what IF said to Kaito which kinda surprised her.

"Did she just say 'Dad'." Blanc replied not sure what to say about that but she that made her wonder if she was the subject that Kaito was talking about.

Meanwhile Noire and Uni were walking toward a home district that Noire knew where she was going.

"So we're going to see this Fuuki girl right. Is she another friend sis?" Uni asked.

"Yeah and she's a friend of Sonyas so that's a plus for us. So if Fuuki found something that we can use to find Rei the better." Noire said as they continued to walk toward their destination.

They walked for another ten minutes until they saw Sonya in front a single story house with a green roof on it along with multiple windows on the house.

"Glad you two could make it. Fuuki said she found where Rei is and how we can get to her." Sonya said.

"Great. Let's see what she came up." Noire said as the three of them entered the home. It was a simple home with a kitchen to their right and a living room to their left that had a large flat screen TV along with several gaming consoles that are plugged in ready to be played. It also has a big enough couch to sit five people all around.

"Yoah Fuuki you here girl!" Sonya called out.

"Do you have to shout?" A females voice said nearby. They looked over the couch and noticed the girl they were looking for. She is a year younger than Sonya with hip length black hair with silver hightlights in them. She has deep purple eyes and she wears a black strapless tube top that compliments her chest and shows off her stomach. She wears silver colored short shorts along with thigh length stockings and black colored shoes with red soles. Around her neck is silver colored choker with a flower on it.

"I was taking a nap you know." The girl said as she stretched.

"Sorry Fuuki but Noire's here along with her sister." Sonya said as Fuuki noticed the two of them next to Sonya.

"Oh Noire. Good to see your still in high spirits." Fuuki said giving Noire a quick hug before noticing Uni.

"And this must be Uni. Noire tells me your quite a gun collector right." Fuuki replied.

"Yeah... I have a few myself but Sonya said that you've found her." Uni said.

Fuuki nodded and she turned to her labtop near her as she started typing away "Oh yeah but let me tell you it was rather tough. Especially having to hack into Leanboxs satellites to pinpoint a location and not to mention search for potiental hotspots for internet activity but l managed to deduce where she is." Fuuki said as she brought it up on the TV.

The TV displayed a location in Leanbox that was outside of the captial city but it was a mountain.

"A mountain? Why there?" Noire asked.

"I did a scan of it with the satellite and that mountain is emitting electromagnetic waves. Now tell me. Why would a mountain emit those kind of waves?" Fuuki asked them.

It took them both a minute to answer but Uni got what she was meaning.

"Because their's electricity in the mountain." Uni answered.

"Yep. I got a feeling that she's inside that mountain." Fuuki replied.

"Fuuki you are a genius you know that." Noire said which made Fuuki smile wide.

"Don't give her an ego okay. That's the last thing we need is Fuuki getting an ego." Sonya replied.

"And as promised since you found a location of where she is..." Noire paused a moment she brought out two rolls of cash and gave them to Sonya.

"The ten grand as promised." She added.

"Thanks. So what are you two going to do now?" Sonya asked.

"Well we're going to go head to Leanbox and get Vert to help us capture Rei." Noire said.

Though Uni had her doubts "Sis don't you think we should get Neptune and Blanc in on this too. The more we have the better our chances." Uni replied.

Noire shook her head "We should be fine. Besides it would take Blanc a bit to get to Leanbox from Lowee. Plus Neptune has something going on with Histoire so I wouldn't want to bother her. The three of us should be enough." Noire replied.

"If you're sure sis." Uni replied.

"So hey Noire what's all this about trying to find this woman? Sonya didn't explain it to me after she told me just to find this woman for you. So I kinda want to know what going on." Fuuki added crossing her legs on the sofa.

Noire looked at Uni before looking at Sonya who nodded at her seeing as she trusts her to keep a secret.

"Okay. So short version is like this. She along with other scientists decided to play god and created an infant that is infused with a CPU Memory Core." Noire stated.

"Wow... that's the short version." Fuuki said.

"Yeah. Plus we've noticed that both Lastation and Lowee had both lost shares. Its not much but still. And that their is a fifth share energy signal." Uni added.

"Whoa! A fifth energy signal. You think it might be a CPU like you two?" Fuuki asked.

"We hope not. We don't need another incident like Eden and Yellow Heart." Noire added.

Fuuki had a thought in her head almost like she was coming up with a plan of her own before returning to her keyboard.

"You've got something kid." Sonya said.

"I have an idea but I'm not sure if it'll work. I can try and trianglate where the energy is coming from and where it's flowing to but the energy signal is too low to trianglate. If their was more energy then it'll be possible to find out who's taking all of the shares." Fuuki said.

"Well at least the good news is that we've located Rei." Uni said.

"True but I suggest caution if you're going in their. Never know what's in their." Fuuki warned.

"Need a tag along?" Sonya asked.

"Nah. You two done enough we'll take it from here. We'll have to inform Vert that we've located where Rei is." Noire said.

"Pleasure doing business with you two. If you need anything else just let me know." Fuuki replied as the sisters left the house.

"It'll be faster if we transform." Noire suggested as Uni nodded in agreement as they activated their HDD.

The light faded as they were both in their HDD as Noire appearance with cyan colored eyes and her hair is pure white that goes below her shoulders. Her suit is black and white in color and a mechanical appearance is much more visible, it also exposes a mild amount of cleavage. Her sleeves are pure black, with silver patches in the bicep and triceps area, her gauntlets are black with silver protrusions on the knuckles.

Uni appears changes as her hairs is also pure white but styled into pigtails and curls. She also has bright green eyes. Her outfit consists of a two piece bikini like bodysuit with matching shoulder length gloves and thigh-high boots with 3 inch black heels.

"Let's get going." Black Heart said as the two sisters flew off toward Leanbox.

Meanwhile in Planeptune Neptune had finished another level of her game but she couldn't be feel... distracted by something odd as it sounds. So distracted in fact she didn't even hear her sister calling for her in the next room.

"Neptune!" A female voice shouted finally got her attention Neptune got up and headed toward the sound of the voice coming from the kitchen.

She went into the kitchen and noticed her sister was working the stove. The girl is about a foot taller than Neptune with long lilac colored hair with a single D-Pad hair piece. She also has purple colored eyes just like her sister and she wears a white sailor styled outfit with dark purple outlines. She wears white and cyan colored thigh length stocks and tennis shoes.

This is Nepgear CPU Canidate of Planeptune.

"Sorry if I was interrupting but I figured I would make some lunch for today." Nepgear said sweetly.

"Aw. Thanks little sis. I'm kinda famished myself." Neptune said with a grin on her face as she and Nepgear sat down for lunch.

"Though where's Histy? Shouldn't she be here too?" She asked.

"Hm... I thought she would be here right now. Is she okay?" Nepgear said with some worry.

"I thought so to but I'm starting to worry about her you know." Neptune added as Nepgear listened.

"I mean these last few days have been rather trying for her. Just yesterday it took her an hour longer to find anything. I'm afraid that she's going to break down or something." Neptune continued.

Nepgear took a bite of her sandwich before adding on "You've got a point. I just hope that she doesn't overdue it like that first time." She said.

"Think we should check up on her then." Neptune suggested as the two of them went to locate their orcale. The first place to look was Neptunes office but she wasn't their surprisingly. Next they tried the share room where their sharcite was being held and no luck their either.

"Okay where in the world could Histy be? This isn't like her to hide from us." Nepgear said as she is rather worried about their oracle.

"Yeah I know what you mean? Plus Histy is very bad when it come to hide and seek. So we should've found her easily." Neptune said.

However one their guards came rushing towards them almost frantic like.

"Lady Neptune, Lady Nepgear we have a situation!" The guard replied.

"Whoa! Easy their big fella. You look like your going to faint." Neptune said.

"What's happened? Is everything alright?" Nepgear questioned.

The guard managed to catch his breath before speaking to both of them.

"It's Lady Histoire. She's passed out in front of the basilicom!" The guard answered making them both wided eyed.

"What!?" The both shouted before rushing past the guard toward the entrance of the basilicom.

Once they've got their they noticed another guard was gently holding Histoire in his hands with a few bags with their contents exposed.

"I'm not sure what happened but she passed out after returning from town." The guard stated.

Nepgear went over and touched Histoires head and immediately retracted it as it was burning.

"She's burning up. This isn't good." Nepgear replied.

"What should we do Lady Nepgear?" The guard asked.

Nepgear wasn't exactly sure what to do as she never had done this before as it was making her a bit nervous of what to do.

"Hey! Take Histoire inside! She needs time to cool off. Also bring some fans to help cool her off until we can solve the problem." Neptune took charge as she gave her orders to the guards and they quickly went to take Histoire inside.

"Oh man this is just our luck. Sis I need you to montior Histoire while I give Compa a call and have her come over. I might not be much but it's better than nothing right now." Neptune said as they followed the guards inside and only hoped that it wasn't as bad as they thought it was.

F3: And that's chapter 6 done. Noire and Uni have located where Rei Ryghts could be and going to get Vert. Blanc has figured out Kaito, and now Histoire could be in danger. What more can you get.
