It has been a quiet few days for Dylan Riley and his group of girls, as it was nothing but relaxing in his home. Luckily, Dylan and the girls were now completely healed and didn't need bandages anymore.
Outside the town of Perth, Nami (wearing a white t-shirt with a blue line going horizontally on the middle of her shirt, orange skirt, and gladiator sandals) and Beth Vanderwood (wearing her black t-shirt with white cuffs and collars, blue overalls over her shirt, and red sandals) were in Dylan's Chevy Silverado, driving around a bit.
"I like your outfit Nami," Beth said to Nami.
"Thanks, I can't believe this still fits me," Nami said to Beth.
"How did you feel about sleeping on the couch last night?" Beth asked Nami.
"Horrible, I really want to get a new house so soon, otherwise I will go insane," Nami said.
Ten minutes later, Nami was still driving around until Beth sees something and she couldn't believe it.
"Nami, Nami," Beth said to Nami as she grabs onto the steering wheel and they veer off onto the shoulder of the road.
"Damn it Beth, what the hell?" Nami asked Beth angrily.
"Nami, look," Beth said to Nami as they look out the front passenger side window.
"No way," Nami said in shock.
"Yeah that's it," Beth said.
"We got to get back to the home," Nami said to Beth.
"Alrighty, let's go," Beth said to Nami as Nami steps on the gas, heading back home.
Chapter 31: A Shark Among Mermaids
Back at Dylan Riley's home, Dylan Riley (wearing his glasses, black Darby Allin "Facelift" t-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers) was in the living room, playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on his Nintendo Switch. He was playing an eight person match, beating out competitors as Kirby.
"Oh yeah, come on Kirby you cute pink ball, beat up those competitors," Dylan said as he continues to play his game.
After five minutes, Dylan takes out the last computer controlled enemy and wins the match.
"Oh yes, that's it, another victory for me," Dylan said excitedly.
"Umm Dylan, can I have a turn?" Aqua (who was wearing a white t-shirt with a water drop on it, blue jean shorts that goes to her mid-thighs, and blue high-top sneakers) asked Dylan as she sits next to him on the couch.
"Sure," Dylan said as he hands Aqua the Switch.
Aqua then selects a character for the eight person match (as she chose Zelda) and picked a random stage as the match was about to begin.
"Okay, here it goes," Aqua said.
Soon the match begins as Aqua was frantically pressing buttons like a pro gamer. Unfortunately for her it wasn't going to work, as thirty seconds into the fight, she lost all three lives and was the first one out.
"Ahh fuck," Aqua said angrily as Dylan was quietly giggling over Aqua's epic fail.
"Wow Aqua, you suck at Smash Bros.," Bellemere (wearing a white tank top, blue ripped jeans, and brown sneakers) said to Aqua.
"I fucking hate this game," Aqua said angrily as she starts to cry hysterically.
Dylan then takes the Switch out of Aqua's hands as he didn't want it to break by the water goddess.
Over at the dining room table, Ristarte (wearing a black t-shirt, white jean skirt, and golden platform shoes), Kinoko Komori (wearing a red t-shirt, red and white stripe skirt, white knee-high socks, and red sneakers), and Lucoa (wearing her pink cap, blueish green overalls that go down to her mid-thighs, black stockings, and pink sneakers) were sitting down, talking about the new house.
"Am I the only one feeling Dylan's needs are a bit excessive," Kinoko said.
"No you are not," Nefertari Vivi (with her hair down, wearing a black t-shirt with a crown on it, grey jeans, and white sneakers) said to Kinoko as she sits down with them.
"I love Dylan baby, but he's super picky," Lucoa said.
"If I had to sleep on a couch, I'm going to smack him upside the head," Ristarte said in an annoyed tone.
"You got to be kidding, right Rista?" Vivi asked Ristarte.
"Yeah, kidding," Ristarte said as her eyes shift left and right.
Over on the stairs leading to the second floor, Botan (wearing a pink t-shirt with a brown jacket over it, dark blue jeans, and white slip-on shoes) makes her way downstairs to talk to Dylan.
Once Botan makes it to the living room, she sits next to Dylan on the couch.
"Hey Botan, do you need something?" Dylan asked Botan as he plays on his Switch.
"Nope, just want to sit next to you," Botan said to Dylan as she rests her head on his left shoulder.
"Is this the Smash Bros. Ultimate I have been hearing about?" Botan asked Dylan as he was at the character selection screen.
"Yes it is," Dylan said.
"Is there any character that I would like?" Botan asked Dylan.
"Hmm, I think you would like Joker, he kind of fits your style," Dylan said to Botan.
"Can I play?" Botan asked Dylan.
"Sure," Dylan said as he hands Botan the Switch.
"Hey Dylan, want to see something cool?" Nico Robin asked Dylan from upstairs.
"Sure," Dylan said as Robin makes her way down the stairs.
Robin soon walks into the living room as Dylan couldn't believe it. Robin had on her aviators as they were covering her eyes, she had on a grey jean jacket, white Orange Cassidy "Yearbook Photo" t-shirt, grey jeans, and white sneakers.
"Holy crap Robin, you are dressed up like Orange Cassidy," Dylan said to Robin in an excited tone as he stands off the couch.
"Thanks, I knew you would love it," Robin said to Dylan as Dylan approaches her.
"That's a bit of a stupid look," Bellemere said.
"Hey as long as Dylan likes it, I don't care," Robin said.
"You can pull off the look, but can you pull off the style," Dylan said to Robin.
Robin then puts her hands in the air and after five seconds, she puts them in her jeans pockets.
"Alright," Dylan said as he was somewhat impressed.
Robin then gives Dylan three very soft kicks onto Dylan's left shin and puts her right foot down afterwards.
"Okay, that was awesome," Dylan said as they didn't see the real Orange Cassidy (how he got there we'll never known) walking across the front yard, giving his usual thumbs up, and leaving soon afterwards.
"I don't know why people like Orange Cassidy, he's too overrated," Ristarte said as Dylan gasp in complete shock.
"How dare you, you don't deserve to watch AEW or be a fan of Best Friends," Dylan said to Ristarte.
"Who are the members again?" Aqua asked Dylan.
"Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent?, Wheeler Yuta, and Kris Statlander," Dylan said and then Robin gives him a gentle boop on the nose.
"Are you trying to be cute?" Dylan asked Robin.
"Maybe," Robin said in a playful tone.
Then, the Chevy Silverado pulls up into the driveway and then Nami and Beth exit the truck. They race up to the front door and they push it open, entering the house.
"Everyone," Beth said to the group as the others look up to her.
Nami then looks to Robin as she sees what Robin had on.
"Umm, I don't want to know," Nami said.
"Where's the fire Beth?" Dylan asked Beth.
"You won't believe what I saw," Beth said to the group.
"What did you see?" Vivi asked Beth.
"I can't tell you, I need to show you immediately," Beth said to Vivi.
"Can we do it tomorrow?" Dylan asked Beth.
"No we need to go right now," Beth demanded to the others.
"We'll go until Botan finishes up her Smash Bros. match," Dylan said and then he hears the familiar music at the end of a match.
"Okay, we'll head off," Dylan said as Botan puts down the Switch.
After twenty minutes, everyone was in the truck and had made it to the destination which was outside of Perth and located on a huge plot of land. Once the truck is parked, they exit the vehicle.
"So Beth, what is this thing you want us to see?" Aqua asked Beth as Dylan sees what they wanted to see.
"Holy shit," Dylan said in shock.
What Dylan saw was this huge building that was made of stone and looking like a castle. There was a small lake next to the building and several water drains around the building. The most notable thing about the building was the mermaid on top of the building and a large banner with a logo on it. This building was the Mermaid Heel guild building.
"Here it is, Mermaid Heel," Beth said.
"I can tell from the name on the building," Nami said as she points to the name on the building.
"Why is the guild outside of Dylan's hometown?" Vivi asked.
"I'm not sure, it's either a plot device or everything is in or near Perth at this point," Dylan said.
"Let's go inside," Beth said as she was about to walk forward.
"Wait," Dylan said as Beth stops.
"What's the matter Dylan, afraid you are going to get beat up?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Yes," Dylan said as Nami was surprised by the answer.
"Mermaid Heel is an all girl guild, if I show up, I'm going to get castrated," Dylan said.
"No way Dylan, they are not going to do that," Beth said to Dylan.
"You mean it?" Dylan asked Beth.
"Of course, Risley will certainly like you, Kagura will like Robin, and I know Araña and Millianna will like all of you," Beth said to Dylan and the others.
"I hope you're right Beth," Dylan said to Beth.
Dylan then takes a step forward and then he gets hit in the leg with something.
"Ahh," Dylan said in pain as he falls onto his knees and the girls notice this.
"Dylan, what happened?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Someone attacked me from behind," Dylan said as he gets back on his feet.
Then, three strands of spider web hits Dylan and it sends him to a fence as his left arm and ankles were stuck to the fence thanks to the webbing.
"Holy shit," Nami said in shock.
"Everyone arm yourself," Robin said to the girls.
Nami then puts together her Clima-Tact, Botan holds her baseball bat, Vivi pulls out her Peacock Slashers, and the other girls were ready for a fight.
"Who is attacking us?" Nami asked as Beth gets out of the way.
"That would be us," this female voice said as it belonged to Kagura Mikazuchi.
They look to see Kagura Mikazuchi, Risley Law, Araña Webb, and Millianna standing at the front of the guild.
"Oh crap, Mermaid Heel," Aqua said in a scared tone.
"There is one thing we don't need here is a guy," Kagura said.
"I told you it was a bad idea," Dylan said to his group.
"Not helping," Nami said angrily to Dylan.
"And we don't need a bunch of trespassers here," Kagura said.
"We are not trespassers, someone told us about this place," Robin said.
"Who?" Araña asked the group.
"Beth Vanderwood," Botan said.
"We haven't seen her since we got here," Millianna said.
"We'll we have her," Aqua said.
"Really?" Araña asked the group.
"Yeah, she's over there," Vivi said as she points to an empty spot where Beth was standing.
"Oh we are so fucked," Lucoa said quietly.
"Liars, you are a bunch of fucking liars," Risley said angrily to the group.
"We know what to do with liars," Kagura said as she readies her sword.
"Yeah, I can't wait to scratch them up," Millianna said as she readies her claws.
"I feel like this is going to end badly for everyone," Dylan said as a battle between his group and Mermaid Heel would most likely end badly.
Lucoa sees the intensity between the group and Mermaid Heel as she knew she didn't want to be part of this.
"I'm just going to stand to the side," Lucoa said as she walks away and stands on a patch of grass.
"Bring it on Mermaid Heel," Bellemere (who had a lit cigarette between her lips) said to the members of Mermaid Heel.
"Oh it's on," Kagura said.
Then, the Mermaid Heel girls rush at the group as Beth watches on from a bush.
"Oh my this is bad, I never knew it would go to this level," Beth said quietly.
Ristarte then sprouts out her wings and flies up about thirty feet into the air. The girls of Mermaid Heel see it as Kagura knew this was a bad mistake for Ristarte.
"You Mermaid Heel girls are no match for a goddess," Ristarte said to the girls of Mermaid Heel.
"We'll see about that," Kagura said as this orange ki like energy was on the ground.
Suddenly, Ristarte slams onto the ground hard as she could feel the gravity was heavy as hell.
"What's going on, why I do feel like I can't move?" Ristarte asked as she couldn't move a muscle.
Kagura then rushes over to Ristarte and nails her with a running knee to Ristarte's cheek, taking her down.
"Oh shit," Botan said in shock as the magic wears off and Ristarte had the spiral look in her eyes.
"Okay, charge," Araña said as she, Risley, and Millianna charge at the others.
When Kagura turns around, Bellemere nails a Black Mass kick to Kagura's face.
"Huh, I guess pro wrestling does help out in real life," Bellemere said.
Kagura soon gets her bearings back as she was not too happy by that kick.
"Yeah I think she's pissed off," Bellemere said as Botan notice this.
"Bellemere, here," Botan said to Bellemere as she throws her the oar and Bellemere catches it.
"Thanks," Bellemere said to Botan as she and Botan surround Kagura.
Bellemere and Botan were swinging their weapons at Kagura, but Kagura was deflecting them with her sword.
"She's tough," Botan said.
"She's must be the most powerful one of the group," Bellemere said as they continue to swing at Kagura.
Twenty seconds later, Vivi wraps her Peacock Slashers around the blade of Kagura's sword.
"Got her," Vivi said as she tries to pull Kagura towards her.
But unfortunately, Kagura had planted her feet on the ground and wasn't going anywhere.
"Big mistake," Kagura said as she starts to swing her sword.
Soon, Vivi swings around as well as she ends up hitting Botan and Bellemere accidentally. The slashers slip off the blade as Vivi lands on the ground hard and the weapons were knocked out of Botan, Bellemere, and Vivi's hands.
Then, Araña shoots out webs from her hands as she ties up Botan, Bellemere, and Vivi in it.
"Three down," Araña said and then she notices a tall pile of mushrooms fifteen feet away.
"Millianna, Kagura, take out that pile," Araña said to Kagura and Millianna.
"Yes Araña," Millianna said to Araña as she and Kagura rush over to the pile of mushrooms.
Millianna then slashes at the mushrooms with her makeshift claws, while Kagura slices at the mushrooms with her sword as the mushrooms get knocked down and Kinoko was left standing.
Millianna slashes at Kinoko with her claws and Kagura slashes Kinoko with her sword as she gets taken down.
"KINOKO," Nami shouted to Kinoko in horror as Dylan watches on.
"Oh the horror, this is worst than watching a modern day Goldberg match," Dylan said.
Aqua sees what was going on as she knew she needed to help them.
"Okay Mermaid Heel, time to feel the power of a water goddess," Aqua said.
Aqua sees the lake in her sights as she raises her arms up. Then a three foot wide water ball rises up as she looks over to the Mermaid Heel girls.
"Here it comes, Water Ball," Aqua said as she throws the ball towards the girls.
The water ball was heading towards Millianna and Kagura, until Risley kicks the ball as it flies up into the sky.
"Shit," Aqua said in a slight angry tone as she sees that Risley looked very slim.
"Is that Risley?" Aqua asked as she didn't recognize her appearance.
"This Gravity Change is so useful," Risley thought and then she hops onto the wall of the guild.
Risley then runs across the wall and then jumps off of it. She then nails a kick to Aqua's back as Aqua was sent flying towards Millianna. Millianna then nails a punch to Aqua's ribs, taking her down. Then, Araña shoots out a web and traps Aqua in it.
"Well we got only two left," Millianna said as she looks at Nami and Robin.
Millianna rushes over to Nami and tries to attack her with her claws. But Nami was using her Clima-Tact to deflect each attack.
"Man, this kitty has got some claws," Nami thought as she continues to use her Clima-Tact to deflect the strikes.
Nami then notices Kagura coming at her with her sword and then she begins to deflect Kagura's attacks as well.
"They are not making it easy for me," Nami thought as she continues to deflect Millianna and Kagura's attacks.
Fifty seconds later, Nami sees an opportunity as she swings her Clima-Tact and strikes Millianna hard in the ribs with it. While Millianna holds her ribs in pain, Nami swings and strikes Kagura in the face with her Clima-Tact. The force knocks Kagura ten feet away and knocks the sword out of her hands.
When Kagura got on her feet, she ends up going face to face with Robin, who had this dark look in her eyes.
"Okay, this is going to be fun," Robin said as she cracks her knuckles.
Kagura then swings her right fist at Robin, but Robin catches Kagura's fist with her left hand.
"Punching the devil, a bad move," Robin said to Kagura as she swats Kagura's fist away from her.
Robin and Kagura then tries to nail punches, slaps, and kicks to each other, but they were deflecting each shot with their arms or legs.
Dylan was watching this fight between Robin and Kagura and couldn't believe how fast they were going.
"Holy crap, Robin and Kagura are not letting up, I think Robin's two year training is paying off," Dylan said.
A minute into this battle between Robin and Kagura, Robin sees an opportunity to nail a karate chop to the upper part of Kagura's back. Robin then nails four hard punches and a kick to Kagura's ribs, sending Kagura onto one knee.
Robin then nails a hard kick to Kagura's left leg as Kagura felt a sharp pain from it. Robin then grabs Kagura's right arm and then she throws Kagura over her right shoulder and hard onto the ground.
"Ouch, that's going to hurt," Dylan said as Robin lets go of Kagura.
Robin hops back a bit and crosses her arms.
"Time to restrain these Mermaid Heel girls," Robin said.
"Ochenta Fleur: Tie," Robin said as twenty arms sprout all over Kagura, Millianna, Risley, and Araña's bodies and ties them up.
The four tied up girls fall onto the ground as Ristarte and Kinoko slowly get on their feet.
Beth was watching this as she felt like she couldn't stand by and watch this anymore.
"That's it," Beth said as she runs out of the bush.
"STOPPPP," Beth shouted as she runs over to Robin.
Soon, the other Mermaid Heel girls notice as they see Beth standing beside Robin.
"Beth," Millianna said happily to Beth.
"Thank god your safe," Araña said to Beth.
"Robin, let them go," Beth orders Robin.
"As you wish Miss Mage Farm Girl," Robin said to Beth as she uncross her arms.
Then, the sprouted arms disappear into flower petals as the Mermaid Heel girls were free and get to their feet.
The Mermaid Heel girls rush over to Beth and they give her a group hug.
"I miss all of you," Beth said to her guildmates as they break the hug twenty seconds later.
"Now, can you free my friends?" Beth asked her guildmates.
"Oh so they are your friends," Araña said to Beth.
"Yes, that one is a former marine," Beth said as she points to Bellemere.
"And that one is a princess," Beth said as she points to Vivi.
Once they realize they attacked a princess, the Mermaid Heel girls felt they fucked up royally.
"Oh fuck," Kagura said in a slightly scared tone.
"Okay okay, I'll free them," Kagura said.
Kagura then picks up her sword and uses it to cut the webs off of Aqua, Botan, Vivi, and Bellemere. Soon the four stand on their feet as Bellemere looks over to Kagura.
"I'm sorry," Kagura said to Bellemere.
"That's okay, I'm glad you didn't severely hurt my daughter," Bellemere said to Kagura.
"Who's your daughter?" Kagura asked Bellemere as Bellemere points over to Nami.
"Yeah if you hurt her in anyway, let's just say you won't have hands to hold a sword anymore," Bellemere said to Kagura in a threatening tone as Kagura knew not to mess with Bellemere or Nami ever again.
"I have never seen Kagura scared like that," Araña said.
"That woman must put the fear in her," Risley said.
Kagura then approaches Vivi as she felt bad for taking down a princess.
"I'm sorry your majesty, forgive me for my actions," Kagura said to Vivi as she gets on one knee for her.
"It's fine, but don't ever pull that kind of shit again," Vivi said to Kagura in a stern tone.
"I promise princess," Kagura said to Vivi as she stands back on her feet.
"Who are these girls Beth?" Araña asked Beth.
"Mermaid Heel, meet Nami, Nico Robin, Lucoa, Aqua, Ristarte or Rista for short, Kinoko Komori, Botan, Nefertari Vivi, and Bellemere," Beth said as she introduce the guild to the other girls as the girls in Dylan's group waves at them.
"Does Lucoa fight?" Millianna asked Beth.
"Nope," Beth said as the girls stop waving.
"Okay, you girls are cool with Mermaid Heel," Araña said to the girls in Dylan's group.
"But this guy is not," Kagura said as she looks over at a still tied up Dylan.
Soon, Kagura and the other Mermaid Heel girls approach Dylan as Dylan looked relieved that he was going to be released.
"Oh good, they found out it was a big misunderstanding," Dylan said as the Mermaid Heel girls stand in front of him.
Kagura then puts her sword up against the left side of Dylan's neck as Dylan was freaked out.
"Oh fuck," Dylan said as he was scared out of his mind.
"How would like your balls cut off, awake or knocked out?" Kagura asked Dylan.
"I don't want my balls gone, I'll bleed to death if that happens," Dylan said as Beth couldn't let Dylan suffer.
"Kagura, stop," Beth said to Kagura in a stern tone.
"Why?" Kagura asked Beth.
"Dylan Riley is not a bad guy," Beth said.
"How do you know that?" Kagura asked Beth.
"Well he's my beau," Beth said as Kagura moves the sword away from Dylan.
"He's your boyfriend?" Millianna asked Beth.
"Not really, actually, I'm in his harem," Beth said.
"WHAT," Kagura, Millianna, Araña, and Risley shouted in shock as pretty much all of Ontario heard it.
"Yeah," Beth said as she rubs the back of her head.
"I think I got tinnitus from that shouting," Dylan said as he could hear some ringing in his ears.
Kagura then points the tip of her sword blade to Dylan's throat.
"Forget about the balls, I'm going for his voice box," Kagura said as Dylan was scared out of his fucking mind.
"I can't believe he would take advantage of you," Araña said to Beth.
"He hasn't," Beth said.
"She's telling the truth, I'm begging you don't hurt me," Dylan said to the Mermaid Heel girls.
"Yeah, Dylan hasn't done anything to hurt her," Nami said.
"Has he hurt anyone of you?" Kagura asked the girls in Dylan's group.
"No way, in fact we all had fun with him," Nami said.
"By fun you mean you had sex with him?" Millianna asked Nami.
"Yes we had sex with him, except for Beth," Nami said.
"Okay, bye bye voice box," Kagura said as Dylan closes his eyes in fear.
"But Dylan isn't bad," Nami said as Kagura stops herself from stabbing Dylan.
"Oh really?" Risley asked.
"Yeah Dylan is such a gentle quiet guy, he wouldn't harm a living soul," Nami said.
"He might look like a killer, but he loves the lighter side of things," Robin said.
"His a big bear you would like to cuddle," Kinoko said.
"He always sees the good in me despite me being useless," Aqua said.
"And no matter what he loves each and every one of us," Lucoa said.
"You all really care for him don't you?" Kagura asked the girls in Dylan's group as they nod "yes".
"Well I can buy that," Millianna said.
"Me too," Araña said.
"Me three," Risley said.
"Fine," Kagura said as she puts down her sword.
"Now that we are good, I wanted to ask you something?" Beth asked her friends from Mermaid Heel.
"What is it?" Araña asked Beth.
"Can we stay here?" Beth asked as the Mermaid Heel girls were in shock over hearing that question.
"You can't be serious?" Kagura asked Beth.
"I am, the house we are staying at is getting cramped and some of the girls are sick and tired of sleeping on couches or sharing beds," Beth said.
"It's true," Nami said.
"I thought since I saw this guild and I knew you four, I thought maybe you can let us stay for a while," Beth said to her Mermaid Heel friends.
"It would be a yes if it was just those girls, but it's a no because they have a guy in the group and Mermaid Heel is a no guys zone," Araña said.
"Pretty please," Beth begged Araña.
"No," Araña said.
"Pretty please," Beth begged Araña some more.
"No," Araña said in a slight stern tone.
"Pretty pretty please," Beth begged as she gave Araña the sad dog eyes.
Araña try to resist Beth's look, but it was hard considering Beth was quite honestly the cutest member of the guild.
After thirty seconds, Araña couldn't take the look anymore and finally caved in.
"Okay, they can stay here," Araña said as Beth have this big grin.
"Oh thank you Araña," Beth said to Araña as she gives Araña a hug.
"That's sweet, can someone please let me out?" Dylan asked any one of the girls.
Kagura then cuts the webs off of Dylan as Dylan steps away from the fence.
"Thanks for cutting me down," Dylan said to Kagura.
"Just to let you know, I got my eyes on you," Kagura said to Dylan in a threatening tone and then she walks away.
"Got it," Dylan said.
"It's like I'm dealing with a mage version of Nick Gage," Dylan thought.
"Hey is it alright if we head back to grab some things?" Beth asked Araña.
"Sure," Araña said.
Several hours later, Dylan and his girls return back to Mermaid Heel with their belongings. While the girls brought a few bags with them, the Mermaid Heel girls (during that time Risley changed back to her chubby appearance) were shocked to see what Dylan brought.
"Are you kidding me?" Araña asked in utter shock.
What they saw was Dylan bringing two duffel bags full of his clothes, his HD TV, his satellite dish and receiver, his internet modem, his Nintendo Switch, and his iPad Pro.
"What, if I was going to stay here, I need my creature comforts," Dylan said as the Mermaid Heel girls facepalm over it.
"Yeah, Dylan can't live without his internet or his YouTube videos," Nami said.
