Chapter 46: Dylan vs. Gray, Battle for Survival
Dylan Riley and Gray Fullbuster were in this intense face off as Dylan was ready to fight to survive.
"I'm ready Gray and I'm not going to back down," Dylan said to Gray in an intense tone as Gray laughs for ten seconds.
"You have to be serious," Gray said to Dylan.
"I am," Dylan said.
"Well then," Gray said as the ice protruding from his forearms disappears.
"To give your fat ass a fair shake, I won't use my Ice-Make powers," Gray said to Dylan.
"Now show me what you got," Gray said to Dylan.
After taking a few breaths, Dylan then nails Gray with five punches to the face. After the punches, Gray was standing still with no scuff marks on his face as Dylan shakes his hands from the pain.
"Oh fuck that was so stupid, fuck that hurt," Dylan said in pain as he continues to shake his hands.
A few seconds later, Dylan stops shaking his hands and then he grabs onto Gray's head. He then starts to headbutt Gray repeatedly as Juvia Lockser watches on.
"Juvia has to save her beloved," Juvia said as she tries to run towards Gray.
But then, Juvia felt she couldn't move as Secre Swallowtail, Ristarte, and Kinoko Komori wrapped their arms around Juvia's legs, even though they were in intense pain.
"Fat chance water mage," Secre said weakly to Juvia.
"We are not going to let you get involved in this fight," Ristarte said weakly to Juvia.
"Yeah, we want Dylan to fight fair and square," Kinoko said weakly as they continue to hold Juvia.
Meanwhile, Dylan nails twelve headbutts to Gray and then he let go of him. Dylan then holds his head in pain after those attacks.
"Fuck I think that was worst, no wonder it hurts to headbutt a Samoan," Dylan said as Gray had a few bruises on his forehead.
Dylan then shakes his head a bit as he sees Gray didn't have any major damage from the attacks.
Dylan then runs over to Gray and tries to take him out with a spear. But, Gray manages to stop Dylan's attack in time and holds him.
"Bad move fatass," Gray said to Dylan.
Gray then slams Dylan hard onto the floor as Dylan lands on his back.
"Ah god damn it," Dylan said in pain as Gray lets go of him.
Gray then gets on top of Dylan and starts to nail him with several hard punches to his face.
After ten punches, Dylan nails a stiff punch to Gray's left cheek, knocking Gray off of him.
Dylan then gets on his feet as there was a few bruises on his cheeks.
"Okay, pro wrestling skills don't fail me now," Dylan said to himself as Gray gets onto his feet as well.
Dylan then grabs Gray by his right wrist, pulls him forward, and nails him with a V-Trigger. Gray was still on his feet as Dylan pulls him forward and nails him with another V-Trigger. He then let go of Gray's wrist as Gray falls to his knees.
As Gray was a bit dazed, Dylan does this Roman Reigns like scream as he sees Gray starting to get back on his feet.
Dylan then runs up and nails Gray with a Superman Punch as this takes Gray back to his knees again. Once Dylan lands on his feet, he slips onto some ice that was on the floor and lands on his back.
"Oh god I didn't expect ice on the floor," Dylan said in pain as he gets back on his feet.
Gray then rushes over to Dylan, hoping to take him out. But when Gray gets closer to him, Dylan lifts up Gray and drops him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.
"Oh that was worse," Dylan said as he felt some pain in his back.
Gray then gets back on his feet and then Dylan flips him off. He then kicks Gray in the ribs and gets him with a Stone Cold Stunner, which didn't knock Gray down, but cause him to stumble around a bit.
Dylan then bends down as he waiting for Gray to turn around as he was ready to give Gray one hell of a spear.
When Gray turns around, Dylan runs up and takes Gray down with one brutal spear. Dylan then gets up on his feet as he was looking a bit amped.
"Holy shit, I think I might be winning," Dylan said in a slightly excited tone and then Gray slowly gets back on his feet.
"I am way more durable than you could imagine," Gray said to Dylan.
Dylan then gets Gray in a front headlock and then he hooks his arms. He then drops Gray with a Paradigm Shift as both of them were lying down on their backs.
Forty seconds later, Dylan and Gray get back on their feet as both of them were starting to breathe a little bit heavy.
Dylan then spins around and takes Gray down with a hard discus clothesline that would make the late Brodie Lee proud.
Dylan then backs up a bit as he was waiting for Gray to get back up. Once Gray was on his feet, Dylan runs towards him and nails him with a jumping forearm as both guys were flat on their backs.
Twenty seconds later, Dylan manages to kip up as he looked like he was ready to finish Gray off.
"It is time for me to tune up the band," Dylan said as he was looking over to Gray.
Dylan then stomps his right foot and a few seconds later he did again, he continue to stomp every three seconds as he waits for Gray to get up.
When Gray got on his feet, Dylan moves closer to Gray, hoping to nail him with Sweet Chin Music. But then, Gray ducks down and nails a hard punch right to Dylan's balls.
Dylan soon holds his balls in pain and falls onto the floor, stomach first.
"Oh I saw it coming a mile away," Gray said to Dylan as he gets on top of him.
Gray then nails some hard forearms to the back of Dylan's head as Dylan was trying hard to defend himself.
After eleven forearms, Dylan pushes Gray off of him as the two guys get back on their feet, with Dylan shaking his head a little.
Gray then rushes over to Dylan as he was looking to take out Dylan for good. But then, Dylan kick Gray in the ribs as Gray bends over and Dylan hooks his arms.
Dylan then drops Gray with a Pedigree as Dylan soon gets on his feet. He then backs up a bit as he wants to make sure he knocks Gray out.
Gray soon gets on his hands and knees as Dylan rushes over and nails him with a Randy Orton style punt to the right side of the head, taking Gray down again.
Dylan then yells again as he was still amped up and looking for his first ever victory.
Gray then gets back on his feet as he had some scratches and scuff marks on his face.
"Okay, time for the big guns," Dylan said as he readied his next attack.
Dylan then spins around and nails Gray with a Judas Effect, but it didn't take him down.
Dylan then runs back over to Gray, spins around and gets him with another Judas Effect, which still didn't take Gray down.
"Damn it," Dylan said angrily as he rushes back over to Gray.
Dylan then rushes over and spins around, hoping for another Judas Effect. But then, Gray grabs onto Dylan by his waist as he knew he wasn't going to go down like that.
Gray then slams Dylan face first onto a chunk of ice and then he lets go of Dylan.
"GAHHHH," Dylan screams in pain as he holds his face and kicks around a bit.
"Just stay the hell down," Gray said to Dylan.
Dylan then slowly gets back on his feet as his skull was split open and blood was pouring down his face and shirt.
"The hell," Gray said in an angry tone.
Dylan then flips off to Gray yet again as he had a sick smile on his face.
Dylan then starts to nail a series of stiff forearms to Gray's face. On the fourteenth forearm, Gray counters with a hard knee to Dylan's ribs.
Gray then summons an icicle and stabs Dylan in the left upper arm with it.
"FUCK, FUCK," Dylan shouted in pain over having an icicle in his arm.
Dylan then grabs the icicle and yanks it out of his left arm. He then drops it as blood was leaking out from his wound.
"Oh god that hurt," Dylan said and then Gray punches him in the face.
"I wasn't going to follow the rules after you were taking me down," Gray said as Dylan looked pissed off.
Dylan then roars and tackles Gray down and gets on top of him. He then nails Gray with some hard knees to the right side of his skull, just like an MMA fighter.
After ten knee strikes, Dylan gets up on his feet as blood was covering his face and it covered thirty percent of the front part of his shirt.
"Holy shit, I have never bled like this, this is Eddie Guerrero at Judgment Day 2004 levels," Dylan thought as he sees blood dripping onto the floor.
Gray then gets back on his feet as he started to look a tiny bit weak after taking those knees.
"That's the best you got?" Gray asked Dylan in an angry tone.
"No it isn't," Dylan said and then Gray rushes over to Dylan.
Gray then summons an ice shield with his right hand and slams it into Dylan, taking him down as the girls in Dylan's group watch on.
"How is Dylan still standing?" Ristarte asked in shock.
"My guess, pure adrenaline," Secre said.
"That's the only thing that would make sense," Kinoko said.
Gray then raises his ice shield up as he was looking to cut Dylan in half with it. Once he starts to lower the shield, Dylan moves out of the way and grabs onto the icicle that Gray stabbed him with.
Dylan then gets on his feet as Gray was looking to get him with the ice shield. Dylan then stabs the icicle into the ice shield as the icicle goes through the shield and misses Gray's chest by an inch.
Gray then throws the shield away as Dylan grabs Gray by the head. Dylan then starts to repeatedly headbutt Gray as Gray starts to stumble back a bit.
After fifteen headbutts, Dylan lets go of Gray and then he gets him in a fireman's carry.
"This is for you Danny Havoc," Dylan said and then he drops Gray with General Order 84.
Dylan then gets on his feet as about half of the front part of his shirt was now stained with his blood.
"Time to take you out," Dylan said to Gray as he gets Gray back on his feet.
Dylan then lifts up Gray and looks over to one of the large display windows in one of the stores.
After taking a breath, Dylan rushes over and tackles Gray right into the window, breaking it into pieces as Juvia watches in horror.
"Gray," Juvia said to Gray in a worried tone.
Then, Kinoko, Ristarte, and Secre trip Juvia onto her face as they let go of Juvia and Secre gets onto her feet.
Secre then grabs hold of a icicle as Juvia gets to her feet.
Secre then slashes Juvia four times with the icicle as this left eight inch long gashes on Juvia's stomach, thighs, and left forearm.
"AHHHH," Juvia screamed in pain as she falls to one knee and blood was seeping from her wounds.
Then, Secre's Mana Skin wears off as she drops the icicle and then she falls onto her back, knocking herself out cold.
"It's okay Secre, you need to rest," Ristarte said to Secre as she gets close to her.
Then, Dylan walks out of the store as he slowly limps away after tackling Gray into the store's window.
After forty steps, Dylan stops to see his left wrist was cut and blood was squirting out of it.
"Well this might be my only chance to do it," Dylan said quietly.
Dylan then lifts his left arm up as blood was squirting into his mouth as it was almost like what SexXy Eddy did at Tournament of Death III after cutting his wrist after a light tube botch.
As Dylan was doing this, Nami sees this and was disgusted.
"Oh that is gross," Nami said weakly.
"What's going on?" Nefertari Vivi asked Nami as she was still blind.
"Dylan cut an artery in his wrist and is drinking the blood," Nami said weakly.
"Oh shit," Vivi said in horror.
"Tear off your jacket sleeves so Dylan can cover up his wounds," Nami said to Vivi weakly.
Vivi then takes off her jacket and rips off the sleeves.
"Dylan, here," Vivi said to Dylan as she tosses him the sleeves.
"Thanks Vivi," Dylan said to Vivi as he catches the sleeves.
Dylan then wraps the sleeves around his upper left arm and wrist and ties it up, hoping the blood would stop leaking out of his body.
Dylan could then hear someone get up as he sees Gray getting back to his feet and steps out of the store. Gray's back was badly cut up as it was bleeding profusely, but it wasn't going to stop him.
"You are one hell of a fighter," Gray said to Dylan.
"You're pretty good yourself," Dylan said to Gray.
Gray then rushes over to Dylan as Dylan turns around to face him. But before Gray could take him out, Dylan grabs onto his head again. Dylan then looks to his left to see another display window.
"Time for another ride Gray," Dylan said to Gray.
Dylan then launches Gray right into another display window, Gray's head strikes the window and it breaks apart, sending Gray into the store.
Dylan then roars again as adrenaline was fuelling his body.
"MDK all fucking day," Dylan said as he was pumped up like crazy.
Once Dylan faces away, Gray gets back on his feet and stumbles out of the store as blood was pouring down his face.
Gray then quietly summons a sword made of ice and quietly approaches Dylan from behind.
Once Gray was a half a foot away from Dylan, he slices his sword twice along Dylan's back.
"GAHHHH," Dylan screams in pain as he collapses onto his knees as a long "X" shaped gash formed along his back as blood was leaking out of those wounds.
"You should never turn your back against me," Gray said to Dylan as he breaks his ice sword on the ground.
Gray then nails a kick to the back of Dylan's skull, taking him down onto his stomach.
Gray's hands had an icy glow to it as Dylan slowly gets back on his feet, looking very beat as his entire shirt was stained in his blood.
"Ice-Make: Ice-Geyser," Gray said as he hits the ground with his fists.
Then, a spiked tower of ice hits Dylan and sends him flying up into the air. Dylan then hits a wall and then he falls onto the floor, stomach first, landing on the second floor of the mall.
Dylan then crawls around a bit as he sees a pen on the ground.
"This might come in handy," Dylan thought as he picks up the pen and puts it in his pocket.
Gray then climbs up to the second floor (thanks to some stairs made of ice he summoned) and walks over to Dylan.
"Game over fat fuck, you are no match for the power of Ice-Make," Gray said to Dylan as Dylan picks up two icicles and hides them.
"Now prepare to get your ass frozen," Gray said to Dylan as he stands over top of him.
Gray then flips Dylan onto his back as Dylan sees a perfect opportunity. Dylan slashes Gray's chest with the icicles as Gray is left with a long "X" shaped gash on his chest and stomach as blood was pouring out of his wounds.
"FUCK," Gray shouts in pain as Dylan sits up.
"Payback is a bitch," Dylan said and then he stabs Gray's kneecaps with the icicles as blood was leaking out of those wounds as well.
"SHIT," Gray shouted in pain as Dylan pulls the icicles out.
Gray falls down to one knee as Dylan gets on his feet and tosses away the icicles. Dylan looks down to see a huge structure with multiple layers of ice in it.
"I think I got an idea," Dylan said.
Before Dylan could put his plan into motion, he starts to nail several Bryan Danielson style kicks to Gray's bloody chest.
After eight kicks, Dylan stops and gets Gray back to his feet.
Dylan then lifts Gray over his right shoulder and wraps his left arm around Gray's head. He then backs up a bit and then Dylan stands up on the railing as the girls in Dylan's group watch on.
"Oh shit," Nami said weakly.
"Dylan is out of his fucking mind," Ristarte said in shock.
After five seconds, Dylan launches him and Gray off the railing and nails him with Air Raid Crash as they break through six thin layers of ice and onto the hard floor.
"Oh fuck, fuck that didn't sound good," Ristarte said in concerned tone.
Dylan and Gray were down on the floor, breathing heavy and bleeding profusely from that gnarly bump.
A few minutes later, Dylan slowly got back to his feet and stumbles around after that move. He then sees that Gray was down on his back.
"I did it, I just beat fucking Gray Fullbuster," Dylan said in an excited tone as it looked like he beat one of Fairy Tail's strongest members.
But then his celebration gets cut short when a water bubble hits Dylan in the head, covering it completely.
"Oh shit, not good," Dylan thought as he was struggling to breathe.
It turns out that Juvia was back on her feet and she used a water ball to try and drown Dylan.
"You hurt my beloved Gray, then Juvia will hurt you," Juvia said angrily to Dylan as Gray gets back on his feet and starting to feel some intense pain.
"I may be hurt, but I'm not going to allow you to obtain a victory," Gray said to Dylan.
Dylan was struggling a bit until he realize something. He then pulls out a pen from his pocket and starts to take it apart a little.
"If this worked for Strahm in Saw V, it will work for me," Dylan thought.
Dylan then jabs the pen right into his throat and then he removes the ball point from it. Soon Dylan starts to breathe a bit as he manages to pull off a feat he thought he could ever achieve, he performed a tracheotomy on himself.
Gray then walks over to Dylan with an icy glow on his right hand.
"You might be able to breathe, but it won't be for long," Gray said to Dylan.
"You tell him my beloved," Juvia said to Gray as she summons her Water Cane.
Then, Juvia could feel her cane being control by someone else as she sees that Aqua was up and using her powers to control Juvia's abilities.
"I'm not letting you take out Dylan, even if me and him aren't on good terms," Aqua said to Juvia.
Meanwhile as Gray was near Dylan, Dylan grabs onto Gray's right wrist as he was making sure he doesn't freeze to death.
"Dylan, here you go," Aqua said to Dylan as he uses her water controlling abilities to send the cane to Dylan.
Dylan then catches the cane with his left hand as he moves Gray's hand to the cane. He then puts Gray's hand on the cane as it starts to freeze the water, heading towards Juvia.
"Oh shit," Juvia said in shock and then Juvia freezes into a pile of ice.
Dylan then let go of the frozen cane and Gray's hand and kicks Gray away from him.
Nami then sees Juvia frozen as she weakly sits up and points her Clima-Tact towards Juvia.
"Thunder Lance Tempo," Nami said as a bolt of lightning was sent flying towards Juvia.
The bolt hits Juvia as the ice breaks apart and Juvia is sent flying and lands thirty feet away. Juvia was out cold as smoke was coming out of her mouth from that attack.
"I did it," Nami said and then she lies back down.
Juvia's powers soon wear off as the water ball disappear and Dylan lands on his feet.
Gray then looks to Aqua as he starts to limp over to her.
"You little bitch, that was a huge mistake," Gray said to Aqua in anger as Dylan picks up a large ice block and walks over to Gray from behind.
Once he was close to Gray, Dylan smashes the block over Gray's head, taking him down onto his stomach.
Dylan then locks in this half Boston Crab on Gray and starts to stomp hard on the back of Gray's head repeatedly.
After fifteen stomps, Dylan let go of Gray as he notices he hasn't moved. He then flips Gray over to see Gray breathing, but knocked out cold.
"Holy fuck, I did it, I knocked out Gray Fullbuster, I won, I fought and beat him on my own," Dylan thought.
Dylan then pulls the pen out of his throat and collapses onto the floor. He was holding his throat as blood was leaking out of all the wounds on his body, but Dylan didn't care, all that matter was the fact he won in a fight.
"I DID IT," Dylan shouted in a horsed tone as he started to feel the adrenaline fade, but he wasn't going to waste this moment.
Well that takes care of this chapter, sorry for the sudden stop. Well Dylan had his first major fight (I'm not really counting his fight against Monoma, that was more of a one sided squash) and took on Gray Fullbuster, it was bloody as hell but Dylan scores his first major win and proves what he can do in a fight. As for Juvia Lockser, well everything after the fight will be seen in the next chapter.
