Chapter 65: Ninja With a Katana? A Surge of Power
Dylan Riley and his group were staring at the mysterious red haired ninja looking girl.
"That must be the girl," Nami said.
Then, they see a red "36" glowing on her left forearm. Five seconds later, the number disappears from her body.
"Yes it is," Dylan said.
"Who is she?" Secre Swallowtail asked Dylan.
"I don't know without my glasses," Dylan said.
"My name is Karui, member of Team Samui, from the Hidden Cloud Village," the woman known as Karui said.
"Karui?" Juvia Lockser asked in confusion.
"I know I haven't seen her before," Mei said.
"Wait Hidden Cloud Village, she is definitely a ninja, but I don't know much about her," Dylan thought.
"You six want to face me?" Karui asked the group.
"Yes we want to face you," Dylan said to Karui.
"It's for your good," Nami said to Karui.
"That's bullshit," Karui said angrily.
"No it's not," Nami said.
"Keep an eye out girls, there is someone with her and we can't focus on her the whole time," Dylan said to the girls.
Karui then pulls out a katana and holds it in her hands.
"I think it got worse," Nami said.
"A katana," Shampoo said.
"I know samurais are great with a katana, but not really ninjas," Dylan said.
"Ninjas?" the girls (minus Karui) asked Dylan.
"Yes, she is a ninja," Dylan said.
"I see a little of it," Nami said.
"Juvia thought ninjas dressed up in black, wear masks, and throw those shurikens," Juvia said.
"Well not all ninjas are like that Juvia," Dylan said to Juvia.
"So, who wants to taste steel?" Karui asked the group.
"Shampoo wants taste," Shampoo said as she somehow carried a scabbard with her.
Shampoo then pulls out a Dao (a Chinese sword) from the scabbard and holds it in her hands. The sight of Shampoo's sword left Nami in utter shock.
"Shampoo brought a fucking sword," Nami said in shock.
"It's a Dao," Dylan said.
"How did she get it past the airport security?" Nami asked in shock.
"How did we get your Clima-Tact and that staff past airport security?" Dylan asked Nami sarcastically.
"At this point, my world is now fucked up with everything going on, basically questions like that are meaningless now," Dylan said.
"Yeah but still," Nami said.
"Oh this is going to be exciting," Secre said.
"I hope Shampoo is good with a sword," Nami said.
"She showed skills when we faced her, so Juvia thinks she will be good," Juvia said to the others.
Karui and Shampoo then circle around the area, not taking their eyes off of each other.
"It's like one of those shootouts in those western films," Nami said.
"I'm getting more Kill Bill vibes and Shampoo is pretty much Daryl Hannah in this case," Dylan said.
Twenty seconds later, Karui and Shampoo were still walking around in a circle as they were waiting for the first chance to strike.
"What are you waiting for, hit me," Karui said to Shampoo.
"Shampoo not falling for that," Shampoo said.
Fifteen seconds later, Karui and Shampoo rush towards each other as they were looking for the first strike.
Once they were close, Karui and Shampoo swing their swords at each other. But each swing ends up causing their swords to hit each other.
"Come on Shampoo," Dylan said to Shampoo.
"Yeah take down that ninja you Amazon," Secre said to Shampoo.
Ten seconds later, Karui nails a kick to Shampoo's ribs, knocking Shampoo back a few steps.
Karui then swings her sword at Shampoo, but Shampoo arches her back and Karui misses her.
Once Shampoo bends back up, Karui thrust her sword forward, looking to hit Shampoo. But then, Shampoo dodges the attack again.
Shampoo then hops up and lands on the blade of Karui's katana.
"What the?" Karui asked in anger.
"You got ninja skills, Shampoo got acrobatics," Shampoo said to Karui.
Shampoo then nails a kick to Karui's left cheek as this stunned Karui a tiny bit.
Shampoo then jumps off the sword, does a flip in mid-air, and lands behind Karui.
"Impressive," Mei said as she was impressed by Shampoo's moves.
"She could easily be on the levels of some of the legends on American Ninja Warrior," Dylan said.
Then, Karui turns around as Shampoo looks at her with a smile on her face.
"Surprise," Shampoo said and then she nails a punch to Karui's face, causing her to stumble back a bit.
Shampoo then runs over to Karui and swings her sword at her. But then, Karui blocks the attack with her sword as Shampoo was trying to push her sword forward, trying to land some damage on Karui.
"Go down," Shampoo said to Karui.
"No way," Karui said as she was trying to hold back the attack.
Twelve seconds later, Shampoo nails a kick to Karui's left knee, causing Karui to lower her sword.
"GAH," Karui screamed in pain.
Shampoo then swings her sword and manages to strike Kauri with it, leaving a two inch long thin gash on Karui's left thigh.
"Damn it, you bitch," Karui said angrily to Shampoo.
"Shampoo sword skill better," Shampoo said as Karui regained her focus.
"Not for long," Karui said.
"Dylan, what do we do?" Nami asked Dylan.
"If there is an opening, help Shampoo," Dylan said to Nami.
"Got it," Nami said.
Karui then swings her katana at Shampoo, but Shampoo was blocking it with her Dao.
After six swings, Karui hits her sword on Shampoo's chest, lucky the breastplate absorb the blow and didn't look like it did any damage to it.
"Shit," Karui said angrily.
"Shampoo armored," Shampoo said.
Then, Karui's left hand glowed blue and was electric as she moves it off her sword.
"What's going on?" Nami asked in confusion.
"Shampoo, look out," Dylan said to Shampoo.
Karui then nails an lightning punch to Shampoo's right cheek, knocking Shampoo ten feet back and landing on the grass. The impact also knocks the Dao out of Shampoo's hands as it sticks in the ground.
"Shampoo," Nami said to Shampoo in horror.
"Not good," Secre said as Karui's hand goes back to normal.
Shampoo then gets on her feet as she regains her focus, not knowing that Karui was rushing right behind with her katana.
Karui then swings her katana and slashes at the back of Shampoo's thighs. Shampoo then screams in pain as three inch long gashes were left on her thighs.
"Shampoo," Nami said to Shampoo in horror.
"Oh god," Mei said in horror.
Shampoo then pulls her Dao out of the ground and turns around to face Karui as she looked serious.
"Shampoo won't forget," Shampoo said with an intense look in her eyes.
"Nami, go and help Shampoo please," Dylan said to Nami.
"On it Dylan," Nami said to Dylan as she rushes over to Shampoo with bō staff in hand.
"And Mei, you got any of your babies on you?" Dylan asked Mei.
"Of course Dylan," Mei said to Dylan.
"If Karui comes over here, use one of your babies to take her out," Dylan said to Mei.
"Got it," Mei said.
"What about us Dylan?" Secre asked Dylan.
"Yes, about us?" Juvia asked Dylan.
"If Nami, Mei, and Shampoo take them out, then Secre use your Mana Skin to increase your power and take out Karui, or use your Seal Magic to trap Karui," Dylan said to Secre.
"And Juvia, you'll be our last resort, your power will be what it takes to take Karui out," Dylan said to Juvia.
"Understood," Secre said.
"Juvia won't let you down Dylan," Juvia said to Dylan.
Karui swings her katana at Shampoo, as Shampoo deflects it with her sword.
After eleven swings, Karui kicks the Dao out of Shampoo's hands as it lands back in the ground.
"Oh damn it," Shampoo said angrily.
Karui continues to swing her sword, but Shampoo uses her acrobatic skills to duck and dodge each swing.
On the twelfth swing, Shampoo jumps out of the way and lands on her feet. The landing cause Shampoo to feel the pain from those earlier wounds.
"AHH," Shampoo screams in pain.
"Those wounds must have hurt you," Karui said to Shampoo as she raises her katana over her head.
"Now this won't hurt at all," Karui said as she was about to take out Shampoo for good.
Before Karui could strike, Nami jabs her bō staff into the lower left side of Karui's back as Karui felt it.
Karui then turns around as she lowers her sword and looks at Nami with an intense look in her eyes.
"I'm not letting you hurt Shampoo," Nami said to Karui.
"Shut up," Karui said to Nami as she swings her sword and breaks Nami's bō staff in half.
Nami looks at her broken staff and looks over to Dylan as she was angry at him.
"Way to go Dylan," Nami said angrily to Dylan.
"Hey, I did what I can in such short notice," Dylan said.
"Whatever," Nami said as she tosses the broken pieces away.
"If you want a fist fight, you got it," Karui said to Nami as she sets her sword on the ground.
Nami and Karui then swings their fists and feet at each other, but they deflect each attack.
After ten seconds, Karui nails a punch to Nami's ribs, followed by a roundhouse kick to Nami's right cheek as Nami didn't look too happy by that.
"Shampoo won't have Nami hurt," Shampoo thought.
Shampoo then turns Karui around and nails her with a punch to the chest, breaking a rib in the process.
"Fuck," Karui said in pain.
"Shampoo better without weapon," Shampoo said.
Shampoo nails five punches to Karui's stomach, followed by a spinning kick to Karui's chest.
Karui turns around and Nami nails Karui with a hard kick to her right kneecap.
"GODDAMN," Karui shouted in pain.
Shampoo then turns Karui around and steps on Karui's left foot. With Karui stunned, Shampoo nails some stiff slaps to Karui's cheeks.
"Ouch," Secre said as she winced in pain.
"Those are WALTER level slaps," Dylan said as they watch the fight.
After fifteen slaps, Shampoo moves her right foot off of Karui's left foot as Karui's cheeks were a bit bruised.
Shampoo nails a jumping spinning kick to Karui's right cheek as this knocks Karui down as she was close to her sword.
Karui then grabs onto her katana as Shampoo and Nami stood over top of her.
"I'm not going down that easily," Karui said.
Karui then gets on her feet and swings her katana at Nami, slicing Nami's left cheek and leaving a small gash on it.
Karui then stabs her sword into the lower part of Shampoo's left leg as Shampoo hissed in pain.
"Damn it," Nami said in pain.
"You bitch," Shampoo said to Karui in anger.
Karui then slides the sword out of Shampoo as Shampoo was left with a two inch long gash on her leg.
"Shit," Shampoo said in pain as blood was leaking out of her wound.
Shampoo then looks at her Dao as she knew she needed to even the playing field.
Shampoo then limps quickly over to her sword as Karui sees what was going on.
"Oh no you don't," Karui said to Shampoo in anger as her hands had this electric glow and her sword had it to.
Karui then rushes over to Shampoo and before Shampoo could reach her Dao, Karui stabs her katana into the upper part of Shampoo's right arm.
"GAHH," Shampoo screams in pain as she feels the sword in her arm and the electricity on her skin.
Karui then slides her sword out of Shampoo as it left a three inch long gash and some burns around the wound.
Karui then nails a spinning kick to Shampoo's face, knocking her thirteen feet back and Shampoo hits back first into a tree.
"Shampoo," Nami said to Shampoo in horror.
Shampoo then lands on the ground, face first, as she was knocked out.
"You're next," Karui said to Nami as she turns around to face her.
Karui then swings her katana at Nami, but Nami was dodging each swing.
On her fourth swing, Karui nails a kick to Nami's ribs and raises her electrified katana.
Karui swings her katana as Nami dodges the strike again.
Nami then tries to nail Karui with several kicks to her body, but Karui was deflecting the kicks with her sword.
On the sixth kick, Karui swings her katana and slices Nami in the stomach with it, leaving Nami with a six inch long diagonal gash on her stomach.
"AHH," Nami screamed in pain as she falls onto the ground and she feels the burn from the slash.
"Oh shit," Dylan said in shock.
"Are you okay Nami?" Juvia asked Nami in concern.
"Like the flesh around my wound got set on fire," Nami said in pain.
"Her katana is filled with electricity, if we get cut we'll get burned as well," Dylan said.
"Mei, come with me as I get Nami," Dylan said to Mei.
"On it," Mei said as she and Dylan run over to Nami.
Karui then stabs her katana into Nami's left knee and Nami screams in pain from the electricity burning her skin.
Five seconds later, Karui slides her sword out of Nami as Nami was left with a two inch gash on her left knee.
"Hey, get away from Nami," Dylan said to Karui as he and Mei race towards Nami.
"Dylan I got this," Mei said to Dylan as she pulls out a compact.
"A compact won't help Nami," Dylan said to Mei.
"It's more than a compact," Mei said.
Mei then presses the top of the compact and fires off these two prods, it was almost like a compact taser.
When the prods were close to Karui, Karui catches it with her left hand and crushes them.
"My electricity is no match for that," Karui said.
Then, Dylan and Mei made it to Nami as Dylan grabs underneath Nami's arms.
"Dylan, get Nami to safety," Mei said to Dylan.
"On it Mei," Dylan said to Mei as he starts to drag Nami away from the action.
"You are not going anywhere," Karui said to Dylan as she raises her electric katana.
Karui then swings her katana and before it could hit Dylan, it ends up hitting this blue shield.
"The fuck?" Karui asked in shock.
Karui then sees Mei standing behind the clear shield as she pressed another button on the compact, summoning it.
"Taser and shield, a perfect combo for a girl to protect herself on the dangerous streets," Mei said.
"You are going to die," Karui said to Mei in a very angry tone.
Karui then swings her katana as it keeps striking the shield. Meanwhile, Dylan keeps dragging Nami away from the fight.
"Don't worry Nami, you'll be safe, away from this action," Dylan said to Nami.
After seven strikes, Karui swings her katana hard and strikes the shield. The force cracks the shield and shatters it into hundreds of pieces.
"Oh shit," Mei said and then her compact breaks into a dozen pieces.
"Oh shit," Mei said in anger as she drop her broken baby.
Karui then had a sick smile as she swings her katana at Mei.
Mei then extends the poles on her belt, hoping to dodge the katana. But, Karui slices the poles off as Mei was in shock over it.
"Oh no," Mei said in shock.
"Now you are defenceless," Karui said to Mei.
"Not totally defenceless," Mei said as her boots activate and she hovers a bit.
Karui then swings her katana at Mei, but Mei glides away, dodging each swing.
On the eighth swing, Karui swings her katana and leaves a gash on Mei's left forearm that was an inch and a half long.
"Damn," Mei said in pain.
Karui then continues to swing her katana as it continues to leave gashes on Mei, which consisted of three one inch gashes all over Mei's right arm and four one inch gashes all over Mei's chest and stomach as blood was leaking out from her wounds and burns surround her wounds.
"Oh fuck, my body burns and hurts," Mei said as she was trying to ignore the pain, but it was a bit intense because of the burns.
Karui then thrust her katana forward and stabs right into Mei's stomach. Mei was in shocked as she could feel the sword impaled her body.
"MEI," Juvia shouted in horror to Mei.
Mei then coughs up some blood as it lands on Karui's face.
"You got blood on my katana and face," Karui said to Mei as she yanks the katana out of Mei.
Mei then collapses onto the ground, resting on the right side of her body and holding her stomach.
"Oh god it hurts," Mei said in pain from the attack.
Karui then looks over to see Dylan drag Nami away from the area.
"Oh fuck no," Karui said as she rushes over to Dylan and Nami.
Karui then stops when she is right near Dylan and Nami.
"Oh shit," Dylan said in a slightly scared tone.
"You two are done, say goodbye," Karui said to Dylan and Nami as she raises her katana.
"Please don't go for my junk," Dylan begged Karui.
As Karui was swinging her sword down towards Dylan and Nami, someone was ready to save the pair.
"Water Cane," Juvia said as she summons a whip made of water and strikes Karui in the back with it.
Karui flinches in pain from the attack. Then, Juvia whips her Water Cane again as she strikes Karui in the back two more times.
"AH SHIT," Karui shouted in pain.
Karui drops her katana as she stumbles around in pain as three foot long and a few inches wide gashes were on her back and blood was coming out from the wounds.
"Wow, that was a lucky break," Nami said as Dylan carefully let go of her.
Dylan looks to see Juvia was holding her Water Cane as he was happy that she saved them.
"Juvia, you amazing water elemental," Dylan said to Juvia as this made Juvia blush a bit.
"Oh Dylan my beloved, hearing your compliments is making Juvia very happy," Juvia said to Dylan in happiness as Secre stands beside her.
"Okay, time for the big guns," Secre said as Juvia's Water Cane disappears.
"Mana Skin," Secre said as she coats her body in mana.
"Wow so pretty," Juvia said as she was mesmerized by Secre's glow.
Secre then rushes over to Karui's katana and picks it up at a fast speed.
"You may be fast and got my blade, but I got the power of lightning," Karui said to Secre as her left hand continues to have a blue lightning glow to it.
When Secre was close to Karui, Karui swings her lightning charged fist at Secre. But Karui's fist wasn't connecting due to Secre's fast speed.
"Come on you stupid horned girl, hold still," Karui demanded to Secre as she was trying to punch her.
"No chance," Secre said as she continues to dodge Karui's attacks.
Seeing her opportunity, Secre swings the katana and strikes Karui in the stomach, legs, and left arm with it as Karui screams in pain.
Soon, Secre stops as she left two gashes on Karui's stomach, three gashes each on Karui's legs, and one long gash along Karui's left arm. The wounds were deep, a inch wide, and five inches long, expect for the arm which was ten inches long.
"Oh fuck this hurts," Karui said in pain as Secre drops the katana.
Secre then walks over to Juvia as she stands beside her.
"Ready to finish this ninja Juvia?" Secre asked Juvia.
"Yes," Juvia said.
"Wait, I need to give you some extra firepower," Secre said to Juvia as she puts her hands near Juvia's left hand.
"Mana Skin," Secre said as she coats Juvia's left hand in her special Mana Skin.
"Will this work?" Juvia asked Secre.
"I hope so," Secre said.
Juvia then summons a whip made of water but it looked different. This water whip had this black electric type ki to it.
"Woah, Juvia's powers haven't been this intense before," Juvia said in shock.
"Amazing, I didn't expect my Mana Skin to increase magical abilities, but maybe the magic from Juvia's world is different from my world," Secre thought.
"Okay Karui, this will put you down," Juvia said to Karui.
"Mana Water Cane," Juvia said as she whips her water whip at Karui.
The whip strikes Karui with such hard force. The impact knocks Karui back as she screams in pain.
Karui then lands on the grass after getting knocked back ten feet, and was out cold. Karui was left with a long two and a half inch wide gash, that went diagonally from her right shoulder to her left hip.
Juvia's Water Cane disappears and the spell wears off to.
"Holy shit," Secre said in shock.
"Juvia didn't expect your spell to have such power packed into it," Juvia said to Secre.
"Yeah, me neither," Secre said as Dylan rushes over to the pair.
"Oh my god Juvia, that was so epic," Dylan said to Juvia.
"Thanks, but Secre powered it up," Juvia said to Dylan.
"Well you did a great job too Secre," Dylan said to Secre.
"Thanks," Secre said to Dylan.
"Let's get the card out," Juvia said to Secre and Dylan as she and Secre walk over to Karui.
"We have to be careful, there is still another person that could attack us," Dylan said to Juvia and Secre as he walks behind them.
Soon, Dylan, Secre, and Juvia stand over a knocked out Karui as Dylan was ready to pull out the card, but was worried.
"Don't worry Dylan," Juvia said to Dylan.
"I'm pretty sure once you get the card out, her connection with her friend will be gone," Secre said to Dylan.
"I hope so," Dylan said as he was about to kneel down to get the card out.
Then, Dylan could hear something as he looks to his left. He then sees a big ball rolling towards them.
"What the, is that someone doing their best Sonic impression?" Dylan thought.
Once the ball was getting closer, Dylan realize that ball was coming towards them.
"Oh crap, get back," Dylan said to Secre and Juvia and then he pushes them out of the way.
Then, the ball rolls past them as it misses them by an inch.
"Phew," Juvia said as she breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was close one, Dylan you are a life saver," Secre said to Dylan.
"It was no problem," Dylan said as the ball rolls back and stops five feet away from them.
"What the fuck is your problem?" Secre asked the thing in anger.
Then, the ball unrolls as it was a fat guy, the same guy that Karui linked to.
"It's a guy," Secre said.
"And he has the same girth as my beloved," Juvia said.
"He must be from the same world as Karui, he has a similar look as her," Dylan said.
"I'm Chōji Akimichi, member of Team 10 and part of the Akimichi clan," the man known as Chōji Akimichi said.
"Dylan, what do we do?" Secre asked Dylan.
"He might not be a match against Mana Skin, so Secre, go and take him out," Dylan said to Secre.
"You got it Dylan," Secre said to Dylan.
Secre then rushes over to Chōji and starts to punch him, but Chōji was blocking the punches with his hands.
Fifteen seconds later, Chōji grabs onto Secre's wrists as Secre was trying to escape but with little luck.
"Can't escape?" Chōji asked Secre.
"No," Secre said.
"Good," Chōji said.
"Now you'll see the power of the Akimichi clan," Chōji said to Secre.
Then, Chōji's hands start to grow as Secre could feel her wrists getting tight.
"What the hell?" Secre asked in shock.
"Chōji's hands are getting big," Dylan said.
"Like Itsuka's power," Juvia said as she and Dylan watch on.
Soon, Chōji's hands were huge as Secre could feel her wrists starting to break.
"That's the power I possess," Chōji said.
Chōji then throws Secre over his shoulders and slams her very hard onto the ground, leaving a seven foot wide crater in the ground. Chōji then let go of Secre as Secre could feel the intense pain from the slam.
"Oh god, the power is nothing like I felt before, it's like getting hit by a wall of spikes," Secre said in pain.
"That's the power of Multi-Size Technique," Chōji said.
Chōji then takes his large fists and starts to punch all over Secre's legs as Secre screams in intense pain.
"Oh god," Juvia said in horror.
Eleven seconds later, Chōji stops as his fists go back to normal.
Secre was in bad shape as her legs were broken with some bones sticking out and numerous small gashes appear along her legs with blood leaking out from it.
"SECRE," Juvia shouted in horror to Secre and then she covers her mouth over the gruesome sight.
"Oh god," Dylan said as he was slightly shocked at this scene.
Then, Secre's Mana Skin wears out as she was too damaged to continue to use it.
"Oh crap, her spell wore off," Dylan said in a slightly worried tone.
"Juvia, is your turn," Dylan said to Juvia.
"As you wish my beloved," Juvia said to Dylan.
Juvia then turns her body into water as she looks at Chōji.
"Water Jigsaw," Juvia said as her body spirals around like a tornado.
Juvia then lunges forward and spins towards Chōji.
Juvia then strikes Chōji as Chōji was still up and being dragged thirty feet away.
Then, Juvia stops and backs up as she sees that her move did little damage to Chōji.
"What the, impossible," Juvia said in shock as her body turns back to normal.
"I'm durable as hell, something like that won't take me down," Chōji said.
"Water Slicer," Juvia said as she throws blades of water at Chōji.
But then, Chōji summons a wall of rock in front of him as the blades hit the wall. Juvia continues to throws blades of water at the wall, hoping to break it.
"I can't believe he summoned a wall of rock, I don't know if Juvia can break through it," Dylan said as he watches Juvia battle.
After twenty attempts, Juvia stops as the wall crumbles down, thanks to Chōji's powers.
Chōji had a smile on his face as Juvia summons a whip of water.
"Water Cane," Juvia said as she tries to whip Chōji.
Before it could hit him, Chōji's hands grew huge as he manages to catch the whip.
"Oh shit," Juvia said in horror.
Chōji then throws Juvia around as he slams her onto the ground hard each swing.
"Oh this is worse than when the Hulk did this to Loki," Dylan said.
After slamming Juvia eight times, Chōji throws Juvia as she slams back first into the front of a windmill. The force cause the water whip to disappear as Juvia falls from twenty feet in the air and onto the ground, landing on her stomach.
"Perfect," Chōji said.
Chōji then expands his body and retracts his arms and legs. He then rolls over to Juvia as she was getting to her feet.
"Oh fuck, Juvia look out," Dylan said to Juvia.
But unfortunately, it was too late as Chōji strikes Juvia at full speed, pinning Juvia against the building. Juvia then coughs up some blood as it lands on Chōji.
Chōji then backs up as five circular gashes were left on Juvia's stomach, thanks to Chōji's hair. Juvia then collapses onto the ground, bleeding from her wounds and her hat falling off in the process.
"Oh god, Juvia," Dylan said in horror to Juvia as Chōji shrinks down and returns to his normal form.
Chōji then looks over to Dylan as he was standing six and a half feet away from him.
"You bastard, you hurt my friends, you are going to pay," Dylan said in anger to Chōji.
"No, you won't and I'll make sure you and your friends won't get out of this alive," Chōji said to Dylan.
