Chapter 73: Pure Power, Fusion vs. The Crew
Up in the sky, Secre Swallowtail (in her anti-bird form) was flying to the battle Dylan and the girls were in, carrying a weird orange and white baton in her mouth.
"Oh I hope I'm not too late, Nami really needs this, thank god Robin told me where they were going," Secre thought.
A few hours ago…
Secre had made it back home as Nico Robin opens the front door, seeing the anti-bird with the baton in her mouth.
"Oh hey Seal Mage," Robin said to Secre and then she looks at the baton.
"Is that Miss Navigator's new Clima-Tact?" Robin asked Secre as Secre nods "yes".
"I'm sorry to break it to you, but she, Dylan, and four other girls left to find another girl in possession of a card," Robin said to Secre.
"But I know where they are if you're interested," Robin said to Secre as Secre wants to know where Nami was.
"They are in Ottawa, if you fly diagonally away from the house, you'll reach Carleton Place, then fly straight once you see the highway, from there go slightly left at the exit to Merrivale, you should see the group in no time," Robin said to Secre as Secre understands.
"I won't let you down Robin," Secre thought.
Present day…
"I'm in Ottawa and I'm close to Merrivale," Secre thought and then she turns slightly to the left.
"Now to find Dylan and the girls, it's pretty easy with him, look for the glasses, his girth, and the fact that he wears black, pretty easy," Secre thought.
Meanwhile at Lebreton Flats, Dylan Riley, Nami, Ristarte, Botan, Meredy, and Karui were standing across from Téa Gardner, Stone Dragon, Mystical Sand, and St. Joan. Dylan and the girls were bloodied and battered, but were not going down without a fight.
"So, what's your move?" Téa asked Dylan.
Dylan was thinking this over, even if all the girls combined to try and take down St. Joan or Stone Dragon, they would get ganged up and mostly likely get destroyed, killing Dylan in the process.
After a few minutes of thinking, Dylan had quite possibly the craziest idea to date.
"I got my move," Dylan said.
"Nami and Meredy take out Stone Dragon, Botan and Rista go and take out St. Joan, and Karui go and take out Mystical Sand," Dylan said to the girls.
"You are fucking nuts," Nami said in an exaggerated tone to Dylan.
"No way I can take out that knight with Rista," Botan said.
"Hey," Ristarte said as she heard it.
"Even with my power, me and Nami can't take down that dragon by ourselves," Meredy said.
"Don't worry, I got a plan, once Karui takes out Mystical Sand, she'll help you two take out Stone Dragon. Once you three take out Stone Dragon, help Botan and Rista take out St. Joan," Dylan said to Nami, Meredy, and Karui.
"I like the plan," Karui said.
"I don't," Nami said in a scared tone.
"It's our best option," Dylan said to Nami.
"I agree with Dylan, this might be the best option we got," Meredy said to Nami.
"Fine," Nami said with a little bit of anger in her voice.
"Alright ladies, go and take out those monsters," Dylan said to the girls as they rush towards the monsters.
"Oh you won't rush us," Téa said to Dylan.
"Okay monsters, take out all of those bitches," Téa said to her monsters as they rush over to the girls in Dylan's group.
Soon, the girls and the monsters reach the middle of the field as the true battle was going to begin.
"Alright, Maguilty Saber," Meredy said as she summons a yellow saber in her hands.
Meanwhile, Karui swings her katana at Mystical Sand, but Mystical Sand dodges the attacks.
Mystical Sand's hands had this light golden glow to it.
"The hell?" Karui asked in shock.
Mystical Sand then swings their fists at Karui, but Karui was dodging the attacks.
Then, Mystical Sand sees an opening and nails three punches to Karui's ribs, breaking it in the process.
"God that hurt," Karui said as Dylan could feel a few more of his ribs breaking as well.
Mystical Sand then nails a punch to Karui's face, knocking her onto the ground three feet away as blood was leaking down the right side of Karui's face.
"Oh fuck," Dylan said and then he feels pain in his head.
Then, a three inch horizontal gash appears on his forehead as blood was leaking down his face.
"Oh god the pain," Dylan said in pain.
Nami and Meredy were dealing with Stone Dragon as Nami tries to nail kicks to it, but they weren't that affective. While Meredy was swinging away with her saber, leaving five small gashes on it's body.
"It's not doing anything," Nami said to Meredy.
"I'm trying, but the scales are tough as bricks," Meredy said.
Meanwhile, Botan and Ristarte were dealing with St. Joan as St. Joan was swinging her sword at the two women. But Botan and Ristarte were dodging the sword attacks.
"How do we take down this crazy powerful knight?" Botan asked Ristarte.
"Use your Spirit Gun, maybe do it in a way like a machine gun," Ristarte said to Botan.
"But that will zap my energy," Botan said.
"It's our only chance to weaken her," Ristarte said to Botan.
"Fine," Botan said as they were still dodging the sword swings.
Botan and Ristarte then step away as she points her right index finger at St. Joan.
"Take this knight, Spirit Gun Barrage," Botan said to St. Joan.
Botan then rapidly fires dozens of blue ki shaped bullets at St. Joan, causing the monster to step back from each blast as dust gathers around her.
After firing off nearly five dozen rounds, Botan stops as she could feel the attack getting to her. She then falls to her knees as she felt very weak.
"Oh god, that took so much out of me," Botan said.
"I think you got her," Ristarte said to Botan in an excited tone.
Soon the dust clears as St. Joan was still standing with a few cuts on her arms and her cheeks.
"Oh damn it," Ristarte said in anger.
"You can't take out St. Joan that easily, she's my most powerful monster on the field," Téa said to Botan and Ristarte.
"That's not what I want to hear," Botan said weakly.
Botan then pulls out her metal baseball bat out of her kimono and hands it to Ristarte.
"It's up to you Ristarte," Botan said to Ristarte.
"Got it Botan," Ristarte said to Botan as she grips the bat tightly.
Meanwhile, Karui gets back on her feet as she had a tight hold of her katana.
"I got to up the damage, I can't rely on just the katana alone," Karui thought.
Karui then uses her electric power in her hands as she coats her katana in an electric glow.
"Okay witch, you are going to face my full power," Karui said to Mystical Sand and then she runs towards the monster.
Mystical Sand then throws these soccer ball shaped gold ki towards Karui. But Karui uses her katana to block each shot.
"Game over," Karui said to Mystical Sand as she was getting close to the monster.
Karui then swings her electric katana at Mystical Sand and slices her three times with it. The attacks were powerful enough to destroy it.
"No Mystical Sand," Téa said to her monster.
Téa then screams in pain as she could feel both of her feet breaking. She then falls onto the ground as she hisses in pain.
"Oh my feet, they're broken," Téa said in pain.
"One monster down, two to go," Karui said as she looks over at Nami and Meredy, who were having a tough time with Stone Dragon.
"Don't worry Nami and Meredy, I'm coming to help," Karui said to Nami and Meredy as she rush over to help her friends.
Nami and Meredy were having a very difficult time with Stone Dragon. Stone Dragon was trying to land an attack on either Nami or Meredy, but the two girls were dodging each attack.
"This dragon is insanely tough," Nami said.
"Yeah, I don't think I ever messed with a monster this powerful," Meredy said.
"Thought you could use an extra hand," Karui said to Nami and Meredy as she stands beside Meredy.
"Oh thank god you came," Nami said to Karui.
"Yeah, we could use some help taking this dragon down," Meredy said to Karui.
"Well if one sword can't take it down, maybe two swords will," Karui said.
"Oh you're saying we should team up on this dragon," Meredy said to Karui.
"Yes, we take it out together and one less troublesome monster to deal with it," Karui said to Meredy.
"I like this idea," Meredy said as she held on to her saber tightly.
Karui and Meredy swing away at Stone Dragon, striking away at it.
After ten swings each, Meredy and Karui manage to cut up Stone Dragon a little bit, weakening it a little.
"We got it," Meredy said.
"But I don't think it did any significant damage," Karui said.
Meanwhile, Ristarte and St. Joan were in a face off as Ristarte had a tight grip on the bat.
"Okay, time to swing for the fences," Ristarte said.
Ristarte then swings the bat at St. Joan, but St. Joan was using her sword to block the attacks.
After ten swings, St. Joan sees an opportunity as she knocks the bat out of Ristarte's hands.
St. Joan then stabs Ristarte's knees, causing Ristarte to scream in pain and fall onto one knee.
"Oh shit, Rista," Dylan said in horror to Ristarte.
Dylan then feels something stabbing on top of his head as two inch long gashes appear on top of his head, blood dripping down as well.
"God that hurt," Dylan said in pain.
Seeing an opportunity, St. Joan rushes over and stands behind Ristarte as Ristarte gets back to her feet.
Then, St. Joan swings her sword and slices up Ristarte's back.
"AHHHH," Ristarte screamed in pain as she falls face first onto the ground and falling into unconsciousness.
"No Rista," Botan said in horror to Ristarte as Dylan hisses in pain.
Dylan then lifts up his shirt as there was a six inch long gash going up the left side of his body.
"Oh fuck, fuck," Dylan said in pain as he lowers his shirt.
St. Joan sees Botan and rush over to her. She then swings her sword and runs past Botan as it looked like it missed her.
"AHHHH," Botan screamed as a seven inch long diagonal gash appears on her chest and stomach.
Botan then falls onto her stomach as blood was leaking out her wound.
Dylan then feels pain in his right shoulder as a five inch long gash appears on it.
"Fuck, I'm going to die from these injuries," Dylan said quietly as he could feel the pain from this battle.
St. Joan then looks to Meredy, Karui, and Nami as she readies her sword and rushes over to them.
Meanwhile, Meredy and Karui were planning out their next attack for Stone Dragon.
"If we attack the head, maybe we can destroy it, I mean the head has to be the weak spot," Meredy said to Karui as Karui sees St. Joan coming towards them.
Karui then pushes Meredy out of the way as St. Joan swings her sword at Karui. But then, Karui uses her katana to block the incoming attack.
"Oh shit Karui, you saved me," Meredy said to Karui.
"I wasn't going to allow her to take you out," Karui said to Meredy.
Karui then pushes St. Joan back as the two sword fighters ready their weapons.
"You just met your match," Karui said to St. Joan.
Karui and St. Joan swing their weapons as the blades connect with each other each time.
As this sword fight was happening, Dylan was watching on as he hoped Karui could take down St. Joan.
"St. Joan is very tough, I hope Karui can do some considerable amount of damage and it destroys her," Dylan thought.
After a minute, both Karui and St. Joan step back as Karui looked like she needed to step up her game.
"If one sword can't do it, maybe two will," Karui thought.
"Hey Meredy, toss me the saber," Karui said to Meredy and then Meredy tosses the saber over to her.
Karui catches the saber as she was ready to fight.
"Alright St. Joan, get ready to feel my full ninja power," Karui said to St. Joan.
Karui and St. Joan rush over to each other and swing their swords at each other. Most of the time the swords hit each other, but other times Karui and St. Joan would land some cuts on their bodies, but it wasn't affecting them too much.
After twenty strikes, St. Joan stabs the top of Karui's left hand, causing Karui to hiss in pain and drop the saber.
"Fuck, fuck," Karui said in pain.
Seeing the perfect opportunity, St. Joan swings her sword and slashes three times on Karui's chest and stomach.
"GAHH," Karui screams in pain as she was left with three eight inch long gashes along her chest and stomach, and she drops her katana, which turns back to normal.
St. Joan then picks up the saber and stabs Karui in the stomach with it, causing Karui to cough up blood. St. Joan then pulls out the saber and Karui falls onto the grass, losing consciousness.
"Oh god," Dylan said in horror and then he feels three five inch gashes go across his chest.
"God it feels like I'm getting a heart attack," Dylan said in pain.
Meredy watches on as she sees Karui out like a light.
"Oh my god Karui," Meredy said in horror to Karui as she picks up her saber.
"You will pay," Meredy said in anger to St. Joan, who had several small cuts along her arms and legs.
Meredy then rushes over to St. Joan, hoping to take her out.
But then, Stone Dragon grabs Meredy by it's right claw as this cause Meredy to drop her saber, disappearing three seconds after.
Stone Dragon then squeezes Meredy tight as Meredy screams in pain as she could feel her bones breaking.
"AHHH THIS HURTS LIKE HELL," Meredy shouts in pain.
"Don't worry Meredy, I'll save you," Nami said to Meredy.
Nami then attacks Stone Dragon with kicks, but even with those kicks it wasn't doing damage to the dragon.
Then, Stone Dragon slams it's right claw on Nami, leaving an eight foot crater in it.
"Oh fuck Nami," Dylan said in horror to Nami.
Stone Dragon then moves it's right claw off of Nami as Nami had numerous cuts all over her body, blood leaking out as she felt like she broke several bones in her body.
Dylan then feels some intense pain in his knees as he felt like he torn something.
"God my legs, I think I torn my ACLs," Dylan said in pain.
Meanwhile, Meredy coughs up some blood and then Stone Dragon let go of her. Meredy drops onto the ground, several bones broken as several pieces were sticking out of her arms, legs, and stomach, with blood leaking out of it.
"Oh god, I can't move, I can't move," Meredy said in a panicked tone.
Dylan then feels something breaking in his back and then he lies down in pain, looking at the sky.
"Oh god, I broke my back, I broke my fucking back," Dylan said in intense pain.
Téa looks at the carnage by her two monsters, the girls all downed and injured, not to mention Dylan severely injured as well.
"What a pathetic waste, I expect way more," Téa said in a cocky tone.
"Now Stone Dragon, St. Joan, take out that fat piece of shit," Téa said to her monsters.
St. Joan and Stone Dragon slowly approach Dylan as Dylan felt like he was done.
"So this is how I die, looking up at the sky with monsters about to kill me, this must be the craziest death ever," Dylan said.
Before the monsters could attack, they hear the sound of a bird chirping in the sky.
"What's going on?" Téa asked as she looks at the sky.
Téa then sees a bird flying up in the sky. What she didn't know was that bird was Secre Swallowtail, holding Nami's new Clima-Tact.
The bird flies a little bit closer to the ground as Dylan recognize it as Secre.
"Secre, you awesome anti-bird girl, but you got to be careful, the monsters are crazy powerful," Dylan thought.
Once she was closer to Nami, Secre drops the Clima-Tact out of her mouth and it lands very close to Nami.
"That must be my new Clima-Tact, it looks so nice," Nami thought as she grabs onto it.
Nami then slowly gets on her feet as the pain she felt was off the charts, but she wasn't going to let Téa win.
Nami then twirls her new Clima-Tact a bit as a dark cloud starts to float up into the sky, while Téa looks on.
"She survived my attack, big deal that little item she got won't take down my monsters," Téa thought.
Soon, a large dark cloud forms above Stone Dragon and St. Joan as Nami was ready to take out two monsters at once.
"Here it comes," Nami said.
"Thunderbolt Tempo," Nami said as she swings down her Clima-Tact as two lightning bolts come down from the cloud.
Then, the two bolts of lightning hit St. Joan and Stone Dragon with so much power. The attacks cause St. Joan and Stone Dragon to be destroyed.
"No Stone Dragon, St. Joan," Téa said to her monsters.
Téa then feels bones breaking in her arms and legs as she couldn't move an inch.
"Oh god, my arms, my legs, oh god they're broke," Téa said in pain.
"Nami, do it," Dylan said to Nami.
"Got it," Nami said as she points her Clima-Tact up.
Then, a lightning bolt shoots into Nami's Clima-Tact. Nami then points the Clima-Tact towards Téa.
"Here it comes," Nami said.
"Thunder Lance Tempo," Nami said as she shoots out a bolt of lightning from it.
The bolt pierces through Téa as Téa screams in pain.
Ten seconds later, Téa passes out as her skin was blackened like charcoal and had damage to inside her body.
"Yes we did it," Nami said as the cloud disappear and she falls onto her back, passing out from the pain.
"Way to go Nami," Dylan said to Nami and then he passes out from the pain as well.
Soon, Secre lands on the ground and glows a bit. She then turns back from a bird to a human.
"That was fun, man I do miss flying like that," Secre said and then she sees the aftermath of the battle.
"Woah that must have been a crazy battle," Secre said over the scene.
"I got a lot of healing to do," Secre said.
Three hours later, Dylan slowly opens his eyes as he sees a now human Secre in his sights.
"Hey there big guy," Secre said to Dylan and then she gives him a quick soft kiss on the lips.
"Hey," Dylan said.
"You were out like a light, glad I came by to heal the group," Secre said to Dylan.
"Was it bad?" Dylan asked Secre.
"Oh it was," Secre said.
"I was able to heal everyone's broken bones and close the wounds slightly, but I'm too weak to continue to heal," Secre said.
"That's okay Secre, you just need some rest," Dylan said to Secre.
"What about Téa?" Dylan asked Secre.
"That girl over there, I healed her a little, but she is still in some bad shape," Secre said.
"That's fine, just as long as she isn't at death's door," Dylan said.
Dylan then slowly sits up and then he gets up on his feet, still feeling a bit stiff from the battle.
"Ow," Dylan said as he feels some slight pain in his legs.
"Yeah, you're not fully healed, so you'll still feel some pain," Secre said to Dylan as Dylan looks to see the more serious injuries completely healed.
Dylan then sees the other girls getting up as their serious injuries were healed. They get to their feet as Karui puts her katana back in her scabbard.
"God, that was crazy," Karui said.
"Yeah and not fun," Ristarte said as Botan picks up her bat.
"Oh god I hope the payout was worth it," Botan said.
"Me too, but I got myself a new Clima-Tact and it works to perfection," Nami said with a smile on her face.
Ristarte then sees Secre standing next to Dylan.
"Oh hey Secre, when did you get here?" Ristarte asked Secre.
"Three hours ago," Secre said.
"You didn't notice," Nami said to Ristarte.
"No, but those attacks did a number on my body," Ristarte said.
"Thank you Secre for healing us," Nami said to Secre.
"You're welcome," Secre said to Nami.
"I'll go and get the card out of Téa," Dylan said and then he and the other girls slowly walk over to a still unconscious Téa.
Soon, they stand over Téa as her skin was now clear as some of her wounds weren't fully healed yet.
"She looks a lot better than when I saw her," Nami said.
"Yeah, but she's isn't at one hundred percent yet," Secre said as Dylan kneels next to Téa.
Dylan then puts his right hand near Téa's chest and it starts to glow a bit.
Soon, Téa's number appears and disappears off her body. Then a card floats out of Téa's body and into Dylan's hand.
Soon, Dylan's right hand stops glowing as he looks at the newly acquire card.
"Okay, Téa Gardner, stars: five, special ability: fairy deck, daily income: $170 per day," Dylan said as Nami couldn't believe it.
"Five stars, that has to be some kind of fucking joke," Nami said in anger.
"No it's real," Dylan said.
"This is confusing," Ristarte said.
"Well I think the reason is that Téa isn't much of a duel player, if she was it would be at a seven, but because of the cards she has, it is at a high five," Dylan said.
"That would make sense," Nami said.
"Okay, who will take her?" Dylan asked the girls as the girls look at him.
"Yeah I shouldn't have asked that," Dylan said as he picks up Téa and carries her on his back.
Later on, the sun was starting to set, while at the mansion, the other girls were anxiously waiting for Dylan and the others.
"I hope Dylan is okay," Aqua said nervously as she and Nico Robin were sitting in the living room.
"I haven't heard from them, but I'm sure they are fine," Robin said to Aqua.
Then, they hear what sounded like a truck pulling up.
"It's them," Aqua said as the other girls race down to the living room and sit or stand in the area.
A few minutes later, the door open as Secre, Nami, Ristarte, Botan, Karui, and Meredy enter the house.
"We're home," Nami said.
"How did it go?" Beth Vanderwood asked the girls.
"Hard as hell," Meredy said.
"Yeah it was like pure hell," Karui said.
"Lucky I healed you all a bit," Secre said to the girls.
"Where's Dylan?" Nojiko asked the girls as they notice he wasn't with him.
"Yeah, is my beloved okay?" Juvia Lockser asked the girls in concern.
Then, Dylan walks into the mansion with Téa on his back.
"Oh Dylan my beloved, you're okay," Juvia said to Dylan as she was about to cry.
"Please don't cry Juvia," Karui said to Juvia.
Juvia then sucks it up as she was now calm and cool.
"So where's the girl?" Robin asked Dylan.
Dylan then shows the girls Téa, who was still on his back and still knocked out.
"She's pretty," Kinoko Komori said.
"This is Téa Gardner," Dylan said.
"What powers does she have?" Itsuka Kendo asked Dylan.
"No powers in her body, but the power is in her cards," Dylan said.
"What do mean?" Shampoo asked Dylan.
"She has a deck of cards that she could summon to the battle and the monsters she had were powerful as hell," Dylan said.
"Yeah they did a number on everyone," Nami said.
"Including Dylan?" Nefertari Vivi asked.
"Yeah even me, I was linked to the girls and I took damage like they did," Dylan said.
"Oh you must have bled like crazy," Robin said to Dylan.
"A bit, but I also broke some bones as well," Dylan said.
"I have to thank Secre, for not only healing us but for delivering Nami's Clima-Tact," Dylan said as Secre smiles a little.
"How is your new Clima-Tact?" Vivi asked Nami as Nami holds out her new Clima-Tact.
"I love it, lightweight, durable, powerful, and easy to carry," Nami said.
"Well we will leave you all to rest a bit," Robin said to the group as the girls head to their rooms, while Dylan carries Téa to one of the guest rooms.
Once Dylan made it to a guest room, he gently lays Téa on the bed and pulls the covers over her body.
"Rest well Téa, I promise you, you will love being in this harem," Dylan said quietly to Téa as he walks out of the room and gently closes the door behind him.
Later on, it was nighttime as Dylan was still up, sitting on the couch in his den as he placed the new Téa card on his coffee table.
Dylan takes out his iPhone from his front right pocket and goes to the home page. He then goes to the special app and puts it on scan mode.
Dylan then scans the card and after five seconds, the scan was complete.
"Perfect," Dylan said as he hears a knock on the door.
"Come in," Dylan said to the person as he exits the app and puts his phone on sleep mode.
The door opens as Nami (decked out in her pajamas) walks into the den and closes the door.
"Hey," Nami said to Dylan.
"Hey," Dylan said to Nami as Nami walks over and sits on the couch next to him.
"I'm about to head off to bed, you scanned the card?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Yes," Dylan said.
"How much are you making now?" Nami asked Dylan.
"Twenty-two hundred dollars per day, which is over fifteen grand a week," Dylan said as Nami was trying to contain her excitement, which Dylan notices this.
"Okay you can hug me," Dylan said to Nami.
Nami then gives Dylan a tight hug as she was happy beyond belief.
Thirty seconds later, Nami breaks off the hug as she looks at Dylan.
"You won't believe how happy I am to hear that number," Nami said to Dylan.
"I believe it, you do love money," Dylan said to Nami.
"Oh I love money," Nami said.
"I'm sure once Téa is healed, she will get used to this situation," Nami said.
"Yeah I was thinking the same thing, she will be shocked at first but will love it," Dylan said.
"Goodnight Dylan, you did a great job," Nami said to Dylan.
"Goodnight Nami, you were amazing, all of you were amazing," Dylan said to Nami as Nami gives him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Feel better," Dylan said to Nami.
"I will," Nami said.
Nami then gets off the couch, walks out of the den, and closes the door behind her.
"Alright, fifteen cards down, eighty-five to go, my collection is getting bigger and I'm loving every moment of it," Dylan said as he smiled knowing he loved the adventures and the ladies he is meeting, this was the best time of his life.
Holy shit, another brutal battle has finished and the group has another girl in the form of Téa Gardner. These battles are getting wild and crazier and I love every moment of those fights. Hopefully Téa will be fine with this harem, but I'm pretty sure she will be cool with it, just like the other ladies. Anyway, here are the stats after this chapter.
