As always, the episode begins at the chill zone from the previous episode.
"I wonder where we're going next," Macarthur said.
"I hope it's another good place," Miles said.
Because everyone at the time leaves in the order they arrived, the ice dancers went first.
Josee: Take a donkey carriage to to Bucharest and fly to *gasps* Hawaii!
Noah, Geoff and Owen shuttered a little.
"You guys okay?" Emma asked.
"Yeah," Geoff answered.
"We went to Hawaii one time before," Owen said.
"What happened?" Brody asked.
"The million dollars fell into a volcano," Noah answered.
"Which exploded," Geoff added. "We just barely escaped with seconds to spare."
"My goodness!" Kitty said.
"It's a good thing they survived," Erin said. "But I'm sure you didn't have to deal with an erupting volcano this time around."
"Thank heavens, no," Noah said.
Don: Hawaii, home of beautiful sunshine, ukuleles, and shirts that should be worn ironically. Once teams land, they'll have to find this Don box.
The box had a Hawaiian shirt covering it. Everyone couldn't help but laugh at how funny it looked. Don too thought it was funny, but didn't laugh.
"You think he didn't like it?" Ryan asked.
"I'd enjoy wearing a shirt like that," Brody said.
"Me too," Geoff replied before fist bumping Brody.
Back with the teams, The Sisters and Reality TV Pros try to pass the time with a game of charades, where Kitty is clearly showing a camera, but Owen continuously gets the answer wrong, usually giving a food-related answer.
"I'm not the best at that game," Owen confessed.
"You think?" a majority of the others asked.
*Interview break* Josee: Playing is for children. We stay focused on our goals at all times.
Jacques: I'm so focused, I haven't washed my boxers since the race started.
The interview break ended with Josee revealing a rabbit's foot, which Jacques thinks is gross.
"No dude," Noah said. "The dirty underwear beats that when it comes to what's more gross."
"Not even I'm that messy," Owen said.
"I always wash mine with Tide," Ellody said.
"I use Oxi Clean," Stephanie said. "And Downy fabric softener."
"Cool," Dwayne Junior said. "We have our own laundry service at the college."
"And we're also down the street from a laundromat as well," Dwayne Senior said.
A frustrated Emma wanted to know how Noah puts up with him. Noah was too distracted by Emma to hear.
"That's why you couldn't hear me?" Emma asked. "You were crushing on me?"
"And look where that led," Owen answered.
"What can I say?" Noah commented. "You're a hottie in my eyes."
Everyone else oohed over those two kissing. Meanwhile, as the stepbrothers get into another argument, Dwayne Junior is looking their way, wondering how old they are.
Dwayne Senior: Never mind them. Some people just don't appreciate quality family time. Right sport?
"I guess that is true," Dwayne Junior mentioned.
"Heck yeah!" Kitty said. "I love it when I get to spend time with my sister."
"I feel the same way," Emma commented after a giggle.
Another donkey was pulling a carriage with Geoff, Brody, Rock, Spud, Macarthur and Sanders, the only one of the 6 not to feel enjoyment when the donkey farted. Macarthur laughed with all the guys watching while most of the ladies were grossed out.
"I still can't believe you boys like it when others fart," Stephanie said.
"As long as it's not Owen," Noah said. "I can laugh all day."
"Me too," Ryan said.
Brody: From Transylvania to Hawaii? This race is epic.
"I know," Macarthur said. "That fart was so cool, I just had to return the favor."
"Please tell us you didn't," Emma said.
Unfortunately for Emma, that's exactly what she did, which got more laughter from most of the guys.
Macarthur: I can't back down from a good fart down. Personal Pride. *After farting again, which Sanders leaves prior to* Uh-oh. I've got code six. This officer needs TP.
That got laughs out again, but this time, the ladies did giggle along.
"Karma, karma, karma," Ellody said.
"You got that, right," Laurie said.
Another carriage had the twins, best friends and goths, who sighed because of the fact that they're leaving Romania.
"Miss that place, huh?" Dwayne Junior asked.
"Yeah," Ennui answered. "My new home is made to resemble Transylvania."
"Sounds spooky," Carrie said.
"But in a good way," Owen said. "Just keep the psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook out, and I can come over anytime."
*Interview break* Ennui: Leaving Romania is tough, but to go to a tropical paradise full of sunshine and happiness?
The break ended with the goths sighing again.
"Some goths do end up enjoying a good day at the beach," Ellody said.
"Just look at Gwen," Geoff said. "She's really having fun now that she and Courtney are married."
The last carriage had Ryan and Stephanie, who's angry about how slow the donkey's going.
Stephanie: I'm usually not that competitive. I just wanna win, and this is a competition, so when things get tense, we can't hold back. We gotta dig deep! Give it everything we got!
"Woah!" Ryan said. "A little too close to the camera with that anger."
"Maybe you're right," Stephanie said.
"Meanwhile, you're definitely a lot calmer than you were back then," Mary said.
"She sure is," Ryan commented.
Ryan and Stephanie then proceeded to make out again.
Seconds later, the plane is seen landing in Hawaii.
"I was glad everyone was on the same flight," Stephanie mentioned.
"Let's hope the plane wasn't as gassy as the donkey," Sanders said.
"Thankfully, it wasn't," Dwayne Senior said.
"I sure had a laugh with that donkey," Brody said.
"All you fellas did," Miles commented. "Do you always laugh at that?"
"It's a guy thing," Owen answered.
Don: As is the custom of Hawaii, teams are greeted with a lovely necklace made of local flowers.
"Those flowers look nice," Laurie said.
"I know," Ellody commented. "We should team up to do more research on them."
"Yeah," Miles said. "We need to get more people to do whatever it takes to keep them from wilting away."
One local successfully tries to put one on Jay, but it makes him sneeze.
"Let me guess," Noah said. "Flower allergies?"
"Yep," Geoff said. "If you ever see Courtney, keep her away from yellow flowers. Those are the ones that make her sneeze."
Everyone else nodded.
Mickey: They sure like their traditions.
Jay: I'm allergic to orchids.
"That's rough," Mary said.
Owen and Noah arrive at the Don box, only for Emma to push them to the side, and request them to give up on the spot.
"Hey!" Kitty said. "That was rude."
"Yeah," Noah said. "How about one doing that to you?"
He then pushed Emma to the ground.
"Not so cool, now. Is it?"
"No," Emma answered. "Sorry about that."
"Hey," Owen said. "That's one of the things reality competition can do to people."
"I see that, now," Emma commented.
Kitty then grabbed the tip.
Kitty: It's a botch or watch. Whoever didn't do gymnastics in Romania has to go diving for wedding rings?
"I wish we were given swim gear for that challenge," Ryan said.
Geoff, Owen and Noah all facepalmed after hearing that.
"Let me guess," Dwayne Junior said. "You had your own and forgot to bring it with you?"
Geoff, Owen and Noah all nodded.
Don: In this challenge, botchers must dive into Hawaii's most popular wedding bay and retrieve one of the rings from the bottom.
Owen: then swim to the beach at the tip of the bay to meet your partner.
"I love a good swim," Owen said.
"I'm so gonna nail this one," Macarthur said.
"I wish we were there," Miles said.
Some of the teams manage to get a head start, with Spud and Jacques being the first two. When the sisters arrive, Kitty gets nervous, but Emma pushes her into the water, calling it a push of encouragement.
"More like a push of rudeness," Owen said.
"Do you want me to push Emma again?" Noah asked.
"No no," Emma said. "I get it. Sorry Kitty."
"Just never do that so rudely again," Kitty commented.
Carrie then jumped, but was so distracted by Devin, she hit a rock face first.
"Ooh!" winced everyone watching.
"That had to hurt," Kitty said.
"No kidding," Carrie said.
Macarthur: Cannonball?
Geoff: *While doing it with Macarthur* Yes!
Splash!
Brody: Macarthur! You kicked so much butt!
Sanders: You know she's my partner, right?
Brody: You did good too bro!
Everyone still clapped it up for the perfect landing.
"See?" Brody said. "Sportsmanship! You and Ryan can learn a thing or two about it from me and Geoff."
"You should also get that out to the ice dancers," Stephanie said.
Everyone laughed again. Jacques returning to the surface with a ring first gave the ice dancers another big lead.
"Showoffs," Miles said.
"I heard that!" Stephanie commented.
Miles then looks at you (whoever's reading) with a 'whatever' face.
Kelly: This is the part where you should be in the water by now. Taylor: Chill! How many swim medals do I have on my wall?
"Oh yeah!" Brody said. "She won a gold and a silver medal for swimming at the Olympics a while back."
"Meanwhile," Geoff started. "I saw Bridgette take home silver in surfing."
"That girl can surf the waves all day," Owen said.
*Interview break* Taylor: Daddy had to reinforce the walls so I could hold them all up, and my swim coach told mom I was the best student.
After seeing Taylor dive in the way she did, Kelly admits that she may have exaggerated a little of what the coach said.
"A little?" Kitty asked.
"Shut up!" Stephanie said. "She's gotten better since the race happened."
"I agree," Erin said. "She may not like going barefoot as much as you other ladies, but she is glad to have us as friends."
"That's nice to hear," Geoff said.
While the daters and twins are just starting the challenge, Josee is running into a commanding lead. Did she not need her good luck charm? Meanwhile, the teams continue watching or hunting rings as the episode cuts to its first commercial break.
"I can already get a feeling the ice dancers' luck is gonna run out very quickly," Miles said.
"Well," Geoff started. "You know what some say."
"One's luck trashed is another's luck treasured," Brody said.
"That luck is sure gonna bounce around now," Stephanie said.
"Maybe we might have been able to grab a piece of it," Ryan commented. "You know, to avoid coming in last place again?"
"Maybe this is a non-elimination leg," Carrie said.
"Each one can hope for the best," Erin commented.
Part 2 coming soon.
