A/N: Because Big Hero 6 takes place in a world where superpowers aren't common in folks, the canon for the team is heavily altered.

I'm not sure if I am supposed to be impressed by his actions and name, but I feel a sense of awkwardness shower over me as I have no idea what to say to Hiro.

Hiro had a pretty big smile on his face, but it faded quickly into one of contentedness and some disappointment. "Really? Nothing?" Hiro says to me as the nanites bring him closer to me, "Creator of Nanite tech here! Something Tony stole from me!"

"I didn't steal it. I just made a better version of it." Tony said, "Like how the 1983 version of 'Scarface' is better than the 1932 original. They didn't steal it; they just made it better."

"Whatever," Hiro groans and steps off his high chair, "I really thought that was going to get to her, ya know?"

"Sorry," I say with a shrug.

Hiro shakes his head momentarily, "Let's just move on." Hiro clears his throat, "So, you wanna do hero things while also learning how to be a better inventor because the school is demanding you get 'mentored' and Tony is too chicken to admit he's alive so he can't, quote and quote, teach you on file?"

"Yeah." I blankly reply.

Hiro and I have a brief stare off before Hiro looks to Tony, "Even she thinks you're chicken."

"Says the guy who'll die from a peanut," Tony remarked.

"Remember when you created an AI of yourself during Civil War II, and it somehow got DRUNK?" Hiro retorted, "I would have never done that."

"Of course you wouldn't," Tony quipped, "You're not smart enough to create an AI."

Hiro clicked his tongue, "At least I don't let my ego get in the way of everything. Does a certain '42' remind you of anything? Or maybe a fake Thor?"

I groan in frustration and speak up, "Boys! You're both handsome, but hearing you two argue like an old married couple isn't what I came for."

Hiro and Tony begrudgingly stop fighting as Hiro then looks to me, "You're right, you're right. An event like that deserves to be shown on PPV, but anyways back to the original topic at hand." Hiro claps his hands together and the nanites roll away and into the walls. "I guess I might as well give you a tour first before we move onto anything. I'm pretty sure you already know what a kitchen and a living room look like so let's get going." Hiro turns around and walks down a hallway as I follow him with my case in hand and Tony dematerialized into my headgear.

Hiro quickly shows me around the house as well as pointing to me where I'll be staying in for the next week. The room was your run of the mill set. A bed, desk area, dresser, closet, etc. Just the things that I'll need. Since this isn't my room I'll do my best to not leave a mess.

After the tour was done and I set my case into my room, I met with Hiro in the living room where we were sitting across from each other on his couches. "So," Hiro speaks, "It ain't much, but it is home. Of course, you'll be wanting to know where the lab is, and I'll show you in a bit, but first, I feel the need to tell you what you are going to be doing here." I straighten my back and listen. "You're going to be training mostly here in fighting and creating. Secondly, you will create a device that will be tested against one of my best, and it must surpass it. Lastly, and this is a crucial one," I lean in closer, "you'll learn how to create the basic form of nanites which are the ones you saw earlier."

I quickly jump out of my seat and am suddenly in Hiro's face, "I'M GOING TO CREATE NANITES?!"

Hiro looks unphased at my reaction, "Yeah. Exciting, huh?"

I jump away from him and stomp on the ground quickly in delight, "YES!"

Hiro signs and laughs a little, "Geez, you remind me of a young me. Full of energy and excited to learn new things." Hiro got up from his seat and pointed to me, "Think fast!"

"What?" I stop moving, and before I know it, I'm hit in the face by a literal fistful of nanites. I'm knocked onto the floor with a stinging pain on my left cheek, "Ow!" I look at Hiro with an angry look, "What the hell was that for?!" I say with my right palm being wrapped around by the Iron Maiden suit and ready to blast him.

"Give it a moment," Hiro says as a loud 'ding' noise echoes.

I turn my head to the sound and see a red box on the floor in the corner when it suddenly opens up and the second most adorable machine I ever saw puffs up from it. A puffy marshmallow appeared before my eyes. It had a large body with two smaller, but still big arms with puffed up fingers and puffy legs; with two black dots acting as eyes that were connected by a straight line. It stepped out the machine and started to waddle to me before it bumped into a chair. It stopped and looked at the chair for a moment then picked it up and moved it to the side.

I was just screaming in my head about how cute that action was.

The cute robot then continued to waddle to me and stopped in front of me with it's hand out. I grasp it gently as it helped me up and raised its hand in a gesture. "Greetings," It spoke with no mouth, "I am Baymax. Your personal healthcare companion. I was alerted to the need for medical attention when you said, 'ow.'"

"Oh my gosh, I love you." I randomly sputtered as Hiro laughed in the background.

Baymax's chest suddenly lit up with ten different expressions expressing different types of pain. "On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?"

"Two," I say, "But your adorableness made it zero in an instant."

"I will scan you now." Baymax eyes me for a few seconds before talking again, "Scan complete. You have a slight contusion on your left cheek."

"No thanks to Hiro." I give Hiro the stink eye as he rolls his eyes.

"I suggest topical arnica ointment," Baymax said as his finger opened up and some light green cream came from it. Baymax gently dabbed my cheek and spread the cream around in circular motions. I swear I can go to sleep with Baymax's touch.

"All done," Baymax says and pulls back his finger much to my disappointment.

"My goodness," I look to Hiro again, "Did you build this….. Marvelously cute and puffy angel?"

Hiro shook his head, "No. My older brother did. This was his greatest work." Hiro said with a sad tone, "Baymax was meant to be shared with the world, but sadly, that never came to be."

"What happened?" I ask curiously.

"During a rather dark time in my life, I managed to turn Baymax into a killing machine for a brief moment, but no one got hurt." Hiro looked as though he was going through memories. "Though brief, it showed me how deadly Baymax can be, and was only proven further a while later. A man by the name of 'Yama' managed to create clones of Baymax that went around causing trouble. Big Hero 6, my team, managed to stop them, but the damage was done and I knew people wouldn't be so forgiving to see Baymax. All Might wasn't around yet so villains were still running around in high numbers; especially those with Quirks that can hack almost anything." Hiro then looked to Baymax as Baymax looked back, " Baymax fell victim to them numerous times and that worsened his public image. By the time All Might arrived and started to affect the crime rates worldwide, Baymax was viewed as a liability by WHO and the rest of the health industry as well as the Hero headquarters. Not only that, but Baymax was outdated and better medical quirks and medication were present." Hiro let out a breath of sadness, "My brother's dream was never realized, but I rather see it as just a dream than know it was ruined forever."

"We could have upgraded Baymax's security, Hiro," Tony said from my goggles, "We offered several times."

Hiro's face changed into a frown, "I know what you, Dr. Richards, Dr. Pym, and all of you hero scientists do to other people's work. You make them better, but you also steal the blueprints and make weapons from them. That's why I never accepted any of your offers."

"Don't be a hypocrite. You did that exact thing after Tadashi passed."

"Because I was forced too after I discovered Callaghan had stolen my tech and was going to use it for revenge!" Hiro shot back, "I couldn't go back and undo Baymax's coding in fighting because, suddenly, Big Hero 6 was needed on the field more often in San Fransokyo. I didn't hate it back then, but as I got older I slowly started to, and to this day I despise how I made my brother's last creation into a weapon, and I wouldn't dare let any of you make weaponized copies of him!"

"Please stop fighting." Baymax spoke, "You are speaking to one another, but neither is listening. This arguing will only lead to more fighting if no one is willing to understand the other."

I nod my head, "Baymax is right. Both of you obviously don't like each other, even after death, but neither one of you is willing to hear the other out."

"Let's just get back to work." Hiro suddenly cuts off the topic and looks to me, "We're going to need Baymax a little longer. Baymax." Baymax turns to Hiro, "We're going to train Hatsume, so get your armor on."

"I understand, Hiro." Baymax walks past us and out of the room with Hiro following.

"Hatsume, with me," Hiro said and I tailed him.

We were now in a training room. It was large but empty. Nothing but white walls for several yards.

Hiro and I were smack dab in the middle of the room with Hiro dressed in his hero costume. He wore a black protective two-piece suit that covered his body along with black knee pads and black steel-toe combat boots. On his hands, he had on thick, forearm-reaching, black and indigo padded gauntlets that had red circles on the palms. Lastly, he wore a dark red cape.

"I used to have a helmet and didn't have a cape," Hiro stated, "But costume's change over time."

"Neat," I say as the Iron Maiden suit spawns over me aside from my helmet.

"Show-off." Hiro mumbles and looks to the ground, "Ready big guy?"

The ground let out a hiss as it began to split and steam escaped from it. Hiro and I moved away from the spot as a large armored Baymax rose from the ground. He was dressed in red armor with a large purple metal covering his midsection.

"Awwwww now he looks like an ironed marshmallow." I say with glee, "Okay, I'm calling you Iron Fluff when you're armored up Baymax."

"Acknowledged." Baymax says, "I recognize this is a training session; however, I must inform you, Hatsume, that my purpose is to not cause pain. I dislike causing pain to others whether it be physical or mental. So, I will do my best not to harm you."

"Wait," I hold up my left hand, "I'm fighting you?"

"Affirmative," Baymax responds.

"But I don't want to hurt you either," I reply with some dejection.

"Whatever happens to me is not permanent. I can always be rebuilt, so I encourage you to try your best against me." Baymax assures me. "To relive more of your insecurity, the data I collect is transferred to a memory core in an isolated area every second I am active. So if I were to ever be destroyed, my data banks will contain the last thing I saw before my destruction."

"Please don't jinx it, buddy." Hiro walked to Baymax, "You haven't been destroyed in decades, and I'd hate to see that streak be broken." Hiro grabbed Baymax's hand, "Every time you were wrecked felt like a little piece of my soul went with it."

Baymax titled his head, "I do not understand what you mean. I will always be here because of you."

"And I'm damn sure glad." Hiro let Baymax's hand go and went to the sidelines. "Okay Hatstume, you heard Baymax. He won't go full power because he hates to cause pain, and don't try to force him either because he'll know. Even when villains attacked, Baymax never went full power unless it was absolutely necessary. In other words…" Hiro let out a chuckle, "He's going easy on you because you can't handle him."

I felt offended by the comment, "Seriously?!"

"Hiro is not wrong." Baymax blankly confirmed, "Mr. Stark has sent me videos of your training and battles, and I estimate you are only able to take 15% of my potential."

I was fuming under my helmet! My number one trigger is people doubting me! Everyone's been doubting without even knowing me!

"I scan high levels of Epinephrine being released from the adrenal glands," Baymax says, "Hatsume, you need to control your emotions."

"I'll show you both!" My thrusters exploded from under me as I flew towards Baymax at high speed and aiming for his head with my right hand. When I threw my fist at him, Baymax caught my fist with ease. I was speechless and tried to pry my hand away, but couldn't.

"Anger will not help you," Baymax relieved my hand as I step back, "You are more prone to making mistakes when frustrated," I growl and swing a right hook at Baymax as he dodges it with ease. "Hatsume, you need to relax if you have a chance of defeating me."

"Shut up!" I yell and throw a fury of punches at Baymax and only get even angrier as he dodges each one. I swing my left leg to Baymax's head, but Baymax blocks my kick and backs up.

"If one comment can make you unstable, how are you going to defeat a villain who knows what to say to make you hurt?" Baymax asks me as I continue to try and land a single blow on Baymax.

"I'll make them regret it!" I bark and charge up the Unibeam for a few seconds before firing it. Baymax quickly evades the blast as my shoulder-mounted cannon comes out from my shoulder. The cannon fires and a net successfully latches itself onto Baymax. For a moment I feel happy to finally do something against Baymax, but Baymax simply rips through the net with ease.

"When I was first created, I was able to lift 1,000 pounds." Baymax says, "The net is made of a strong alloy, but would be useless against those with super strength."

I snarl at Baymax and fire both of my mounted lasers at him. The laser bounce off of Baymax as my chest opens up and mini-missiles are fired towards Baymax. Baymax stands still and takes the hits. Through the smoke, I can see Baymax isn't affected by the missiles, but I anticipated that. I begin to charge my Unibeam once more, but this time, I charge past the limit. The suit gives me a warning sign that I am now drawing from my suit's power supply, but I ignore it and press on. I dash at Baymax and go for a high kick and miss. Baymax jumps back and swiftly dodges each attack I swing at him.

"Hey, kid!" Hiro yells to me, "What's going on with you?! You're fighting like a wild animal!"

I ignore Hiro and press my attack on Baymax and continue to charge my Unibeam.

"Really? You're going to ignore me like a brat?" Hiro says, "What's making you angry? Is it that you can't hit Baymax? Is it because you suddenly got an ego check, again?" I look to Hiro and I see a smirk rise on his face, "Or is it because you know that even with the suit, you're still the same girl that is looked down upon by everyone."

I completely stop my offense on Baymax and turn my body and attention to Hiro. Without a second thought, I fired my overcharged Unibeam towards him.

"Hiro!" Baymax yells out.

"Don't worry," Hiro calmly says, "I got this." Hiro puts both of his hands out and in a stunning show of might, absorbs the Unibeam.

"What?!" I shout in shock as Hiro is unphased by my actions.

"Baymax, take a backseat," Hiro starts to walk towards me, "I think Hatsume needs a lesson from her teacher."

I get out of my paralyzed state and rush Hiro, but before I could reach him, Hiro raises his right hand and I freeze in place. "Huh?!" I try to move my body but can't, "Hey, Tony!"

"That isn't me," Tony says as I see him standing next to Baymax.

Hiro walks to me and places his left hand just a few feet away from my face, "Funny thing about nanites. They listen to the brainwaves of the human they are connected too, but if you interfere with the brainwaves and implant your own…" I feel my suit slowly start to retreat into my headset, "Then they'll listen to you." The nanites around my legs fully disappear as I am now on my feet and feel my entire body becoming exposed. I internally scream for the nanites to obey me, but with no success as the nanites continue to collect themselves into my headset. Soon, Version I has collected itself back into my headset and left me vulnerable as I fall onto my rear.

Hiro looks down at me as I look back to him with some fear, "I expected better from you." Hiro says disappointedly, "One comment and you lose your goddamn mind. How come this didn't affect you at the tournament when that Bakugo brat told you the same thing endlessly?" I say nothing as I have no answer to the question. "I'll tell you why." Hiro states, "It's because you had power. You had your Version I and knew you could beat anyone there. No one was going to stop you when you busted that suit out and rag-dolled Todoroki. Not a single competitor and some pro-heroes attending the show would be able to take you on." Hiro then lowers his hands as I can feel the nanites now listening to me again. "But when faced against an enemy who is simply too powerful for you, you felt weak. You felt useless. You were angry at the fact that even with Tony's tech you were not strong enough to earn Baymax's full might, and even then, you weren't able to land a single physical blow despite the handicap he gave you, which again, was only 15% of his power." I lower my head in fury as I hear the truth coming from Hiro's mouth.

"But beyond that," Hiro continues, "You're angry at the realization that if you can't beat Baymax when he's not trying, let alone stop yourself from getting embarrassed by an old man like me, then how are you going to beat the people you want to keep the innocent away from? Not the common thug or the man who stole that one ladies purse at a McDonald's, but the villain who commits murders like it's a regular Tuesday morning for them and doesn't give a damn if he or she does it in public. How are you going to beat that?"

My breath is staggering violently as I can't seem to come up with an answer for Hiro. But I didn't need to as Hiro scoffs lightly and speaks again. "You need discipline, kid. Mental discipline. You're haunted by your past and until you accept it as just that, you will never be a real hero."

I fixate my eyes onto my shoes as they suddenly became the most interesting thing in the world. I hear Hiro walk away from me and Baymax approaching me. "Hatsume," Baymax lowers himself to my level and removes his helmet, "You are powerful without the suit. The suit is powerful, but Version I is just an empty shell without you."

"I'm satisfied with my care…" I mumble audible enough for Baymax to hear. Baymax gets up, collects his helmet, and walks away to leave me alone. I figure Tony is inside the internet again doing whatever he is doing and will leave me be too.

I sit for what feels like an eternity before getting up and walking out of the training room. I make my way towards my room to unpack my things. As I'm unpacking, I'm still in thoughts about what Hiro told me. It was harsh. Very harsh. It wasn't as bad as Tony yelling at me for almost killing myself with Mark II, but it was still painful to hear.

I never thought about how self-conscious I was about myself after I got Version I. I think I got worse because before then it was just my quirk, but now, it's everything from head to toe. I sit down at the desk and look outside to see the moon high in the sky. I begin to wonder how long I was sitting in the room for wallowing in self-pity before I hear a knock on my door.

"Hatsume?" It's Baymax.

"I didn't yell in pain," I reply.

"I know, but Hiro told me to attend to you regardless."

"Well I don't want to see anyone right now, so go away Stay Puft Marshmallow…"

"I can not abide by that request. I programmed to help all those in pain until they are fine."

"I am satisfied-"

"That will not work for I can sense your distress. Hiro fixed that loophole to help one of his friends a long time ago when they were feeling suicidal."

I let out a heavy sigh, "Then come in because you are never going to leave."

Baymax opens the door gently unarmored. He closes it behind him before sitting on the nearby bed. "Hatsume, why are you angry?"

"I'm not angry," I twist my head to Baymax, "I'm just sensitive about myself…"

"Hatsume, where does this 'sensitivity' stems from?" Baymax asks.

"I thought you only helped with medical needs?" I asked him.

"I'm not limited to treating just physical injuries. I was also programmed by Tadashi to help with mental and emotional trauma as well."

"So you're a therapist as well?"

"Unlicensed, but essentially yes."

I laugh lightly and look back outside. "I guess it comes down to my quirk. I think you already know my quirk."

"Zoom," Baymax answers, "By focusing your eyes into a particular spot, you are capable of seeing up to 5 kilometers."

"Yeah." I signed, "It ain't much use…" I say as I zoom outside and see a family of four walk inside their home. "I mean sure it has its uses, but for what I want to use it for, which is to save people, I haven't found it."

"Yet." Baymax gets up, "You haven't found it yet." Baymax stands next to me. "Tell me, what do you see?"

"A family. Two dads with their son and daughter. They all had ice cream. The parents had vanilla while the boy had chocolate and the daughter had strawberry. The kids had sprinkles and the parents had hot fudge. Before they entered their home, the kids told their fathers they had the best day ever and that they loved them."

"How do you know that?" Baymax asks curiously.

"I can read lips." I responded, "I learned how too when I was in middle school. Everyone was always talking about me and I was nosy enough to wonder what they were saying so I taught myself."

"And you don't think that'll help you in the future?" Baymax looks to me. "You were able to tell me who they were, what happened, what they were doing, what they had, and what they said. And you don't think that'll help you in the future as a hero?"

"It ain't special," I say with some hate. "So what I can see a happy family from far away, it doesn't mean anything."

"But it does." Baymax places a hand on my shoulder as I look towards the robot. "You were born with a gift. Your quirk is special, but it's up to you to make it so. Hatsume. Has anyone ever said anything negative about your quirk?"

I stare at Baymax as flashbacks of my younger school years pass through my mind. Every day was the same thing. I was bullied because of my quirk. No one ever left me alone, and sometimes, I would find a place to be alone at lunch and cry silently to myself because a girl can only take so much. Then I applied to U.A and ranked in the top 15 of all students who participated. When I thought I didn't have to hear about my quirk anymore, I was put in support instead of a hero course because of my quirk. Then, Bakugo. Yeah, I beat him, but with a suit and not with my quirk.

"...Yeah." I silently replied.

"By who?"

I look back outside, "By everyone. From the day I got my quirk to Bakugo at the Sports Festival. Not a day goes by when I'm reminded how pathetic my quirk is."

"That's what they see." Baymax looks outside the window, "What do you see?"

"A useless quirk," I say, choking a bit.

"No. That's what they see." Baymax turns his head back to me, "What do you see?"

I bite my tongue from yelling at Baymax because I understand what he means. He wants to know how I feel about my quirk. Thing is though, that is how I feel about it. I truly believe it is useless to me.

I feel Baymax wrap an arm around me and hugs me. I feel a few tears roll down my face as I lay my head on him.

"Your quirk isn't useless, Hatsume, but you need to find a reason to believe in it. Only then will you be able to begin the road to recovery and learn how to control your emotions."

Tadashi. I may have never met you, nor ever heard of you till this day, but you built such an amazing healthcare unit. A great friend for anyone who needs him.

I wrap myself around Baymax and hug him back tightly. "Please...help me… I'm scared to relive my past alone…"

"I will help you, Hatsume," Baymax says gently.

"As will I." I lift my head to see Hiro standing by the doorway still in his outfit. "You had a rough past Hatsume and I'm sorry about that. I wasn't bullied growing up, but I know it's one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. It doesn't get as much attention as it should." Hiro walks next to Baymax and kneels to my level. "You won't be alone. We'll help you. Tony, me, and Baymax."

I smile weakly at the two, "Thank you."

Hiro smiles back and pats me on the head, "We're heroes, Hatsume. It's what we do. Tomorrow we'll begin the real training. Today was just a test to see where you are in the mind so Baymax knows what to do when it's time for training." Hiro stands up tall and walks back to the door, but before he exits, he looks back at me one last time, "In case you haven't noticed, a replica of Baymax's portable charger is in the corner of your room. He'll be staying with you for the time being." Hiro leaves the room.

I look to a corner and see the bed area. I smile more and squeeze Baymax a little then release him. "I'm satisfied with my care, Baymax." Baymax nods his head and walks to his bed area. He stands on top of it and turns his body to me.

"Goodnight, Hatsume. Wake me when you need me." Baymax then deflates as a red light appears on his bed.

"Goodnight, Baymax," I say and change into sleeping attire. I get on my bed and not too long later, fall asleep.

Hiro

Hiro looked outside his room to make sure no one was following him. Once he's sure, he closes the door and presses a button on the wall. The room lights up for a moment. "Hopefully this keeps Tony out," Hiro whispers to himself as he walks to the back end of his room and feels around the wall. When Hiro finds the spot he's looking for, the wall lights up and scans his hand. When the scan completes itself, the wall slowly yet quietly opens up to reveal a lone briefcase. Hiro takes the briefcase and places it on his bed. Hiro stares at the briefcase for a moment before his mind is overtaken by the last mission of Big Hero 6.

The day when Big Hero 6 died.

It was a normal mission per usual. Defeat the villain, save the civilians. Simple as that. Except it wasn't. The villain was no ordinary villain. He was a monster. He destroyed everything he saw and killed anyone he could get in his grasp. Hiro would never forget that purple bald head of his nor the golden glove he wore.

Flashback

"Hiro!" Gogo yelled to Hiro, who was on the floor bleeding out with Baymax tending to him, "Get out of here!" Hiro looked up to see Honey Lemon and Wasabi attacking the titan with no avail. He was just toying with them.

"No!" Hiro shouted back and tried to stand but screamed in pain as he fell back down to the floor as a metal pipe had pierced his liver and his left leg was broken. "I can still fight, Gogo!"

"No, you can't!" Gogo heard an explosion as both of them looked to the battlefield and saw Wasabi being choked by the monster.

"This is what the Avengers send to me?" He spoke with disgust, "These pitiful heroes? Do they believe they are too powerful for me or are they sending out the grunts because they are too scared to face me?"

Wasabi slashed his energy blade across Thanos' face. Thanos retaliated by throwing Wasabi into a car. Fred, who was in a suit that resembled his old costume, rushed up to Thanos with Honey Lemon and both stuck the mad titan with no effect. Thanos smacked them away like ragdolls.

Gogo immediately turned to Baymax, "Baymax!" Gogo yelled with desperation, "Get Hiro out of here! We'll hold him off as long as we can!"

"No!" Hiro yelled back, "Don't be stupid! You'll die! All of you!"

"I know…" Gogo softly replied, but looked to Hiro, "But it's worth it if we save you. When Tadashi died, we all swore we would protect you, even if it meant one or all of us died." Gogo, with what little strength she had left, picked herself up and grabbed her destroyed helmet, "And we're going to keep that promise." Gogo put her helmet back on before running back into the fight.

"Gogo!" Hiro screamed with tears running down his eyes. Hiro tried to stand up but felt Baymax wrap his arms around his waist and blast off from the scene. "NOOOOO!" Hiro grabbed at Baymax's hands and tried to pry them off, "Put me down! I can save them! Baymax, please! I can save them!"

"I'm sorry, Hiro," Baymax replied.

Hiro looked down at the fight and saw the surrounding area. He saw the fires that were raging, the people that were running away or aiding in the fight. He also saw pro-heroes gathering up but no Avengers in sight. What Hiro saw next would haunt him forever. Hiro watched as Thanos lifted his glove and his teammates were suddenly in the air. Thanos, with a nightmarish grin, squeezed his hand as Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Fred, and Gogo glow bright red. Hiro could faintly hear their screams of agony as all of them vanished into red mist.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Hiro cried out, "Wasabi, Fred, Honey, Gogo!"

Flashback End

Hiro struggled to breathe normally as he placed his hand over his heart. He felt a river of tears flow down his cheek as he recalled that painful day.

"I'm so sorry…" Hiro mumbled to himself, "I'm sorry I couldn't save any of you…" Hiro placed his on the briefcase and slowly opened it, "But…"

Hiro looked inside the briefcase and saw the artifact he stole from the Avenger's one day. It took decades of careful planning and scheming, but he did it.

Inside was the Infinity Gauntlet in all its glory. Only the space stone was attached to it as the rest were scattered amongst people that Reed Richards trusted more than anyone.

Hiro lifted the gauntlet and placed it over his hand. The power that Hiro felt flowing into his body was unfathomable. The same power that took his family away could bring them back. "They may have erased the memory of everyone about Thanos. About Galactus. About everything from space except a few things. But they could never erase mine. They spared me, but left me with nothing but pain." Hiro took the glove off and placed it back into the case. "I will bring you all back. I promise."
