AU where Mei Hatsume strives to be a hero but is rejected from entering the Hero course due to her weaker Quirk. She nearly gives up her dream, until one day she meets an old hero who shows her that heroes aren't just made, but they can be built as well. And that man is none other than Tony Stark AKA, The Iron Man (Mei is very OOC.)

15. Clash of Metals Announcement

Hello everyone! GloriousSanity here!

Now, I know what you're thinking, 'Hey this isn't a new chapter! What gives! I wanna see more Mei Hatsume become her own hero as Tony's pupil!'

Yeah, I know, but I have an announcement to make.

So I recently came into contact with another user named 'Fire Slash.' Now, if you haven't heard of him or aren't familiar with his work, Fire Slash is also a fanfic writer who is currently working on stories such as 'Izuku Midoriya: The Blue Beetle,' 'Immortality Sucks (Story where every time Izuku dies, he comes back with the ability that killed him),' 'Instant Pain (Story where Izuku is Professor Zoom; not Reverse Flash. I'm doing that sooner or later.),' and 'The Invincible Iron Deku.'

I think you can see where that last title hints at.

So, I read through his Iron Deku story and I found it fascinating about the similarities our stories share, especially the main ship which is IzukuxMei. So, I PM'd Mr. Slash with a proposal that went like this:

"Wanna crossover Iron Maiden with Iron Deku?"

"I'll say it like Kite Man: Hell yeah!"

So! Ladies and Gents, boys and girls, and all you other peeps, I am glad to announce that Fire Slash and I have finished chapter one of this crossover of worlds! It is called, "Clash of Metals," and you can find it on my profile!

Please be aware that this story will not, and I repeat, WILL NOT, be canon to the Iron Maiden or Invincible Iron Deku storyline. This is a separate AU in of itself and will not coincide with Hatsume and her adventures as Iron Maiden nor Fire Slash's version of Izuku and his adventure as Iron Man.

Also, I want to get an IzukuxMei week going, IzuMei week it shall be called. I don't know if it exists already, and if it does, I want to make it bigger. This ship is not sailing as fast as IzuMina or something.
