The room fell silent after the strange woman stopped shaking her head from side to side, seemingly trying to rid herself of an image in her mind that, although he didn't know what it was, he didn't want to know precisely what it was, given that the woman in her current attire seemed like someone Jiraiya would love to meet if he were still alive, taking her as inspiration for writing his next Icha Icha book.

But setting that aside, he separated from the stone bed under the woman's gaze to go not far from where the bed was, into a corner to grab the top part of his clothing and put it on. While he didn't know the woman and looked away from her, he wasn't an exhibitionist to go around showing his torso to just anyone, besides it brought back bad memories with a certain snake and his best friend.

Although he didn't know what his friend did training during the three years with the traitorous snake in the past, it still made him uncomfortable to know that Orochimaru wanted to take his friend's body, which in a certain way, if you didn't know the complete context, sounded too strange, even sexual in a way.

But those were matters of the past now; at the moment, he supposed his best friend was on his journey of redemption, while the snake still roamed the elemental nations, no longer causing harm but still researching all the jutsus he wanted to know.

With the top part of his clothing already on, he turned his gaze to find himself now completely dressed, facing the woman who observed him silently. The silence lingered for a few more seconds, neither of them knowing what to say to break the silence. Though he was fed up with it, he wasn't one to stay quiet for long. So, he decided to introduce himself to break the strange moment they were currently in.

Naruto: Well, this is weird, so let's break this awkward silence. I'm Uzumaki Naruto, nice to meet you.

Smiling still, despite the previous awkward silence, he extended his hand forward for a handshake, as one would when formally introducing themselves to a stranger. Yet, with his left hand nervously scratching his head, he added his personal touch to his characteristic greeting when meeting someone new in the elemental nations after the Fourth Great Ninja War, when different people came to the Leaf Village just to meet him. Even though he was new in this new village, he preferred not to be rude and greet properly as his master, Kakashi sensei, currently the Sixth Hokage, had taught him.

Meanwhile, Ishitar remained silent, watching every move of the strange man in front of her as he introduced himself, extending his hand respectfully. Though for the man in front of her, this was becoming somewhat normal, for herself, it was still too strange for two important factors, but mostly for a third one that had formed in her mind, one she didn't intend to tell anyone.

The first factor that made this still strange in her eyes was that in the forest they were currently in, especially in the area where she found the man in front of her, was a sacred place where very few had access, and the few selected individuals had power or status far above average. This was because in the forest lay the temple of the divine courtesan called Shamhat, someone who, it is said, served as the sacred prostitute of Uruk to calm a beast made by the Babylonian gods, one that was no longer alive due to certain circumstances she preferred not to remember.

The second factor that made this strange was that after the death of the divine beast made by the gods, the forest where she stood had assumed a tranquility that had not been affected for a long time. And now that had vanished like sand carried by the wind because before reaching this forest while she was in the heights, she could feel and see with her own eyes that a strange energy she had never seen before began to surround a quarter of the forest, filling it with a vitality never before seen. Although that was odd, the strangest thing in her eyes when she landed in the forest was that the trees and plants seemed to block the way the more she advanced to reach the temple.

And even though undoubtedly these were strange things in her eyes because they had never happened in the past years, what had her attention right now was still the man in front of her, who had his hand extended. Taking that into account, plus the two past factors, she preferred to be cautious with the man who, although he looked friendly, the aura around him was not normal at all. Because although the man might not want it or not know it, he was emitting large amounts of that strange energy. But analyzing it in the few seconds she could, she delved deep enough for the alarms in her head to sound. Because, for starters, the man not only overflowed in overwhelming amounts of that strange energy, but she could also feel an energy she was very familiar with, and it was nothing less than divinity.

Something that people like her should have in their blood, with divine beasts being creations of the gods themselves, like the Heavenly Bull, or better known as Gugalanna, a beast said to be the size of a mountain with dimensions such that its hooves and legs towered over several houses, though its appearance was similar to that of a small black boar, with blue horns, four protrusions protruding from the spine, and two golden stripes.

But going back to the previous flags, the ones that were now warning her to be careful with the man in front of her, put her on alert for any hostile movement the man might make, because among the gods they fought very often. But that wasn't what had her so alarmed. She knew most of the gods, and knew that almost none of them were as stupid as to be near this forest, considering it was close to the Kingdom of Uruk, which was ruled by the King that most of the gods hated and feared, none other than Gilgamesh.

He was the cornerstone between the gods and humans for being half-god, half-human, born of the union between the king of Uruk, Lugalbanda, and the goddess Rimat-Ninsun. Born with a body that was of the highest quality by mortal standards, and knowledge that reached the truth; Gilgamesh was born, designed, to become king and the cornerstone of the sky between ascending humans and fading gods.

Being the only one of his kind that had been seen so far in human history as in the gods, but now at this moment she didn't know what to think if this was the case or something strange had happened under the noses of the gods, including herself, and someone similar to Gilgamesh had been born. But that was sure that it shouldn't be like that because almost no god would dare to lie with a simple human without having anything special that attracted their attention.

Even though that didn't matter now, all of that was irrelevant now if someone similar to Gilgamesh had been born under the noses of the gods, it had to be eliminated at all costs because the gods couldn't deal with another being like Gilgamesh. So, without the blond man noticing, behind her she was preparing an attack to kill the blond without him noticing, but before she could make her attack, she saw behind the man the figure of a beast with nine tails beginning to form, growing at a gigantic pace, transforming the man's friendly aura into a corrosive danger, overwhelming her.

Feeling overwhelmed by what had appeared behind the man, unconsciously she took a step back with a few drops of sweat running down her face. Few times in her life had she felt this sensation of being overwhelmed by something unknown, but before she made a reckless move that could put her life in jeopardy at any moment, the being behind the man disappeared, leaving her alone again with Naruto, who was now waving his hand in front of her face to get her attention. So, blinking, she looked back at Naruto again.

Seeing that she had finally caught her attention, he let out another sigh for the strange woman in front of him. If he was honest with himself, he didn't interact much with women, given that most of the women he had met in his life were quite peculiar, to say the least. The best examples that came to mind were Sakura with her explosive temper, Granny Tsunade, who also had an explosive temper despite that her appearance gave much to talk about because despite being a woman of 54 years old, she had the appearance of a woman in her 30s, and Hinata, who was too strange but respected her courage, especially in the war when she encouraged him after seeing Neji's death in front of his eyes.

It was the first time he had lost a friend in front of him without being able to do anything, something that undoubtedly affected him at the time, and if it hadn't been for Hinata, he would have been in a trance that would have led him to death. But those were events of the past that he preferred not to remember, at least not for now.

But that didn't matter now; for now, he didn't want his mood to drop by thinking about his dead friend. So, looking at the woman, he preferred to move on from her, even though it wasn't really his style to do such things with people, it was the best he could do to avoid attracting unwanted attention. So, quickly passing by the woman without her noticing, he ran out of the temple where he was to return to the village/kingdom to see if he could find information.

In the training he did on his own after the war, he had learned that information was the most important thing when one was in unfamiliar territory. So, he would gather information to find out where this person he was assigned to help called Gilgamesh was.

-With Ishtar-

She really didn't know what had just happened; from one moment to the next, she was overwhelmed by the strange beast, and now the other, the blond man who was in front of her, had disappeared in a blur of speed that she couldn't see because she was still distracted with everything that had happened before.

So, with that, she turned around to see if she could find the blond man again and see if he was a danger to the gods or someone who would unbalance the power currently held throughout Mesopotamia.

Starting to fly from the temple, she began to look to see if she still found him. She hoped so before someone else found him and did something stupid.

But without anyone seeing after the temple was left empty, a few minutes passed before a figure appeared, looking in the direction Naruto had gone running back to the Kingdom of Uruk to find his target.

And end of the chapter.
