Here's the adaptation of Charmander the Stray Pokémon. This episode will be when the toons' antics really start to frustrate Team Rocket. You'll see how. Enjoy.

Episode 13: Charmander the Stray Pokémon
With Bulbasaur as his newest Pokémon, Ash, the toons and their friends are making their way triumphantly to Vermillion City, aren't they? Ash stared at some Spearows through a pair of binoculars. Pikachu sat on a tree stump along with Fifi La Fume. "There's nothing but Spearow around here," said Ash.
"I hate Spearows," mumbled Fifi.
"Well that's the least of our worries, isn't it?" asked Misty sarcastically. Brock was looking at a map.
"Just because we're a little lost, doesn't mean Ash and I can't stop catching all the Pokémon we can. Does it?" asked Mary.
"Chu," said Pikachu. Fifi then scooted next to Pikachu.
"And maybe you and I can get to know each other more, my cute, chocolate covered croissant," said Fifi sweetly. She then fluttered her eyelashes while giggling. Pikachu groaned in annoyance.
"Of course not. Enjoy yourselves," said Misty. Our friends have gotten off track, just a bit.
"I knew we should've taken that left turn at Albuquerque," said Buster. Ash and Brock stared at Buster. "What? It's what Bugs says whenever he gets lost traveling," said Buster.
"I just can't go one step further. We've been looking for Vermillion City for ten whole days!" said Misty.
"Uh, there's bug right on your . . . ," said Brock. Suddenly, Misty let out a scream.
"Get it away!" said Misty, jumping onto Ash's back. Brock picked up a piece of grass.
"It's just a piece of grass," said Brock. Misty just growled as she blushed in embarrassment. Brock laughed. But then, he got kicked in the face by Misty. A foot mark was left on Brock's face by the kick. Brock groaned.
"I'm going crazy! Where are we?!" asked Misty. The map fell into Ash's hands.
"According to this, we're right in the middle of nowhere. But it looks like Route 24 leads right to Vermillion City," said Ash.
"Does this trail take us to Route 24?" asked Misty.
"According to my calculations it does," said Ash.
"All right! Then let's get this show on the road," said Misty as she grabbed her backpack and began to walk away. But then, she stopped. "Huh?" asked Misty. She saw something sitting on a rock in front of her. "Hey Ash, Mary, everybody, take a look at this thing," said Misty.
"It looks like some kind of giant Pokémon," said Ash. Brock recovered and got back up.
"Pikachu," said Ash.
"Chaaa!" cried Pikachu in fright. He hid behind Brock's backpack.
"Pikachu!" said Ash. "Do I have to keess you silly just to motivate you, you lazy bum?" asked Fifi.
"Let's take a closer look," said Fowlmouth. and Everybody did. It wasn't a giant Pokémon. It was just a Pokémon on top of a rock. It was an orange reptilian creature resembling a tailed bipedal salamander with some dinosaur qualities, particularly like those of theropods. The Pokémon had four small fangs visible on its upper and lower jaws, a cream underside and an expansive cream coloration on the sole of its foot. Its most notable feature was the flame burning on the tip of its tail, which is there even at birth.
"A Charmander!" said Brock. The Charmander let out a yawn. Everybody fell to the ground in embarrassment.
(Insert "Pokédex Theme, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)
Ash took out his Pokédex to get data on it. "Charmander. A flame burns on the tip of its tail from birth. It is said that a Charmander dies if its flame ever goes out," said the Pokédex.
(End Music)
"When I went to get my first Pokémon from Professor Oak, I was disappointed 'cause I couldn't get a Charmander since it was stolen by an unknown thief. Now I can catch my own," said Ash.
"I don't know. It looks like its in bad shape," said Misty.
"Catch it and we'll take it to a Pokémon Center for help," said Brock. Ash took out an empty Pokéball.
"Pokéball, go!" said Ash. The Charmander batted the Pokéball right back toward Ash. It fell into Ash's hand.
"It looks pretty healthy to me," said Hamton.
"Oui," said Fifi.
"You think I should Pikachu battle it first so it'll weaken it and make it easier to catch?" asked Ash.
"Why not let me catch it. My Water Pokémon will be stronger against Charmander," said Misty.
"You're forgetting that Ash has his Sandshrew and Ground-types are, like, effective against Fire-types as much as Water-types are," said Shirley.
(Insert "Creeping Shadow" from Pokémon)
"Hold on. Take a look on the flame of its tail, guys," said Brock. Ash noticed the flame was smaller than what it showed on the Pokédex. "There's no way it could still have the strength to battle," said Brock.
(End Music)
"Ash, try the Pokéball one more time," said Mary.
"Alright, I will. Pokéball, go!" said Ash. He threw the Pokéball at Charmander once again. This time, it hit Charmander and scooped it up. "Alright!" said Ash. But then, Charmander popped out of the Pokéball and it was sent back toward Ash. The Pokéball almost hit Ash, but he managed to dodge it and was about to hit Fowlmouth.
"Oh sh . . . ," said Fowlmouth. But he was interrupted when the Poké Ball got lodged into his mouth. He let out some muffled curses. Charmander was becoming annoyed.
"It sure has a lot of spunk," said Brock.
"Well, too much if you ask me," said Ash.
"I zink zis Charmander has, how you say, an attitude problem," said Fifi. Buster and Hamton began to try to get the Poké Ball out of Fowlmouth mouth as he cursed. Pikachu then climbed up the rock Charmander was standing on and the two Pokémon began to communicate. After talking Charmander, he went back to Ash.
"What's the story Pikachu?" asked Ash. Pikachu began to explain everything to Ash. Ash was able to understand what Pikachu was saying.
"So, what deed Pikachu tell you?" asked Fifi.
"Pikachu says that Charmander is waiting on that rock for somebody to come and get it," said Ash.
"You mean it belongs to somebody?" asked Dizzy.
"Well, I'm not exactly sure," said Ash.
"That probably explains why it popped out of the Poké Ball when it got scooped. I read that sometimes if a Pokémon already belongs to somebody, another Poké Ball won't work on it," said Shirley.
"If its waiting for someone. I think we better leave it. It's probably best if its own Trainer takes care of it," said Brock. Buster and Hamton finally managed to dislodged the Poké Ball from Fowlmouth's beak.
"I hope its Trainer comes back soon," said Ash.
"If it's okay, I would like to stay with Charmander," said Mary.
"Why?" asked Fifi.
"I want to make sure that his Trainer picks him up. Not only that, it's not safe for him to be all alone with the likes of Team Rocket and Elmyra out there," said Mary.
"Good point," said Fowlmouth.
"Once Charmander is reclaimed, find us at a possible Pokémon Center, okay?" asked Buster.
"Sure," said Mary. Everybody else began to leave, leaving Mary Melody and Charmander by themselves. Charmander looked up toward the sky and saw gray storm clouds approaching. He grabbed a leaf, which he hoped would protect his tail flame. "I don't think that leaf will protect your tail," said Mary. She took out a box that read "Acme Instant Tent". She opened the box and pressed a button on part of the folded up item. In an instant, a tent formed over herself and Charmander. Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, Buster, Fifi, Shirley, Bookworm, Hamton, Fowlmouth and Dizzy continued down the road when Misty saw something.
"Hey you guys. Look over there. It's the Pokémon Center," said Misty.
"The one on the map," said Ash.
"Route 24 can't be too far," said Buster. Just then, rain began to pour.
"Pi? Pikachu?" asked Pikachu. His cheeks were sparking as well. Ash and his friends began to run for the Pokémon Center.
"Hurry!" said Ash.
(Insert "Prayer" from Pokémon)
The Acme Instant Tent did indeed protect Mary and Charmander from the rain. "You see. That tent is doing a much better job of keeping your dry than that leaf you were gonna use," said Mary.
"I don't understand, who is this Team Rocket and Elmyra you mentioned?" asked Charmander.
"Team Rocket are a group of bad people who are always trying to steal people's Pokémon. My friends and I have been stalked by three particular ones who have the vain belief that Ash's Pikachu is rare and valuable. But that is all in their heads and they're just delusional idiots. As for Elmyra, she's a former classmate of mine. She has an unhealthy obsession of making every animal she finds cute her pets. She's also pursued my friends. Unfortunately, she has the brain of a toddler and is oblivious to the abuse she puts the animals through. Sone have even died as a result," said Mary. Charmander gasped hearing this. "But good thing I'm here. I won't let her hurt you," said Mary. She then gave Charmander a pat on the back. Charmander felt much better.
Ash and his friends were in the Pokémon Center having dinner. "Here's some nice hot soup," said Misty handing Ash a bowl of soup.
"Thanks, Misty," said Ash.
"Have some soup, Brock," said Misty. But then, she noticed Brock had a grim look. "What's wrong?" asked Misty.
"I wonder. Do you think anybody picked up that Charmander yet? What if its trainer left it there?" asked Brock. "I don't think the Charmander would wait around this long, do you?" asked Ash.
"I don't either, Ash. It's trainer must've gotten it by now," said Buster.
"Eef he or she deed, then Mary would've been back," said Fifi.
(End Music)
Just then, he heard a group of six Pokémon trainers laughing. They were gathered around a table that had a bunch of Pokéballs on it. Among one of them was a man with blue hair and purple eyes. He wore a pair of goggles, a pink shirt, a red bandana, a brown vest and black pants. "You got a lot of them," said Trainer #1.
"Just look at them. It's a pretty cool collection," said the blue-haired trainer.
"Heh, heh. Way cool," said Trainer #2.
"You're the man, Damian," said Trainer #3.
"Yo. I thought you had a Charmander too," said Trainer #4.
"Yeah. I had one. That puny thing was so weak, it couldn't beat the weakest of opponents," said Damian.
"I don't like his attitude," said Misty.
"Charmander may be weak against Water Pokémon, but if their trainers' work hard, they can be strong," said Brock.
"Oui," said Fifi.
"So what did you do with the Charmander?" asked Trainer #4.
"Eh, I left it on some rock in the woods," said Damian.
"Huh?" asked Ash & his friends.
"That thing is so stupid. No matter what I do to it, it keeps on following me. I finally got rid of it by promising I'd come back for it. It fell for it. It's probably still there waiting for me!" said Damian. He and the other trainers began to laugh.
"He's the one who abandoned that Charmander!" said Ash.
"Yeah. It its still waiting for him on that rock with Mary," said Hamton. Brock stood up and began to walk toward where Damian and his friends were at.
"Brock, what are you doing?" asked Ash.
"I bet its still up there, wagging its tail," said Trainer #3.
"It'll probably wag it so long, it'll put the flame out," said Trainer #4.
"Yeah, for sure," said Damian. Damian began to laugh. Suddenly, Brock grabbed Damian by the shirt.
"Go and get it!" said Brock.
"Huh?" asked Damian.
"That Charmander is still waiting for you! Go and get it, now!" said Brock.
"Why should I?" asked Damian.
"You lied to your Pokémon and said you'd be back! Now its waiting out there in the rain for you with one of my friends! And if its tail flame goes out, it'll die!" said Brock. Damian forced Brock to let go of his shirt collar.
"What I do is none of your business! Next time you see your friend, tell him or her that Charmander is now their Pokémon," said Damian. Without warning, Ash executed an uppercut punch on Damian, knocking him down. Everybody else gasped.
"Le gasp!" said Fifi.
"Do what he says!" said Ash.
"What'd you say, nerd?" asked Damian as wiped blood from his mouth.
"You heard what I said. And you wanna be a Pokémon Trainer," said Ash.
"A true trainer won't abandon his or her Pokémon!" said Buster.
"You're disgusting!" said Misty.
"Your attitude makes moi want to puke!" said Fifi.
"Pika pika!" said Pikachu. Just then, Damian grabbed one of his Pokéballs.
"You want to fight with me?!" asked Damian.
"You better not mess with Damian!" said Trainer #2.
"Let's go!" said Ash, taking out a Pokéball. Fifi cocked her tail like a gun, ready to stink Damian and his group if things got very messy.
"Let's break it up! You know the rules!" said a voice. It was the Nurse Joy who ran the Pokémon Center. This one wore a hat with a green cross.
"Huh?" asked everybody.
"Pokémon are never to be used in personal fights. It's disrespectful to the Pokémon and their Trainers," said Joy.
"Yeah. But tell them that they were the ones who started it," said Damian as he and his friends left. Trainer #2 collected Damian's Pokéballs.
"It think you'd be better not to get mixed up with them. They have a very bad reputation," said Joy.
"Thanks for the advice," said Brock nervously. He was infatuated by Nurse Joy's beauty. Nurse Joy giggled and went back to work. "She sure is pretty. I've never seen anyone as pretty as her," said Brock, blushing.
"What are you talking about? She just looks like all the other Nurse Joys," said Misty.
"Yeah. It's a joyful world," said Ash.
"Hello Ash," said a voice. It was Lacey the traveling nurse (a.k.a Latias).
"Lacey, nice seeing you again," said Ash.
"Nice to see you too. I see you found more of your missing toon friends. Is your Pikachu behaving better?" asked Lacey.
"I'm still working on getting him to change his attitude," said Ash.
"But I am lending a helping hand," said Fifi. Brock then went up to Lacey and began to hold her hand.
"My name is Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader now Pokémon Breeder. Perhaps the Pewter City Nurse Joy told you about me and how handsome I am?" asked Brock.
"She told me about how much of a pervert you are," said Lacey coldly. Brock fell to the ground in dismay. Lacey shook her head.
"Boys," said Lacey.
"Zey are such children," said Fifi.
"You'll get no argument from me," said Lacey. And she went to help Nurse Joy with some stuff.
"Alright, snap out of it," said Ash.
"Oh, quit spacing out!" said Misty.
"What about Charmander?" asked Shirley.
"Ah, that's right. We've gotta help it!" said Brock.
(Insert "Absolute Death" from Pokémon)
Changing into rain coats, Ash and his friends began to hurry back to where Mary and Charmander were at. "This is dangerous, going out in a storm like this to help a Pokémon! What if we all catch pneumonia," said Misty.
"Well nobody asked you to follow along!" said Ash.
"Gotta help a Pokémon in need," said Misty winking. Mary and Charmander were still fine and safe in the tent. But not for long. A trio of Spearows from earlier were eying them. And they didn't like how they were in their territory. With a squawk, the three Spearows charged at the tent. They ripped through the tent and began to attack Mary and Charmander. They used their claws and beaks to attack them.
"Stop it! Cut it out!" cried Mary as she tried to fend them off. Suddenly, a rock was thrown at the Spearows, hitting one of them.
"Hey! Leave them alone!" said Ash. Angered, the Spearows then began to attack Ash instead. Brock took off his coat and waved it to try to repel the Spearows. Dizzy stared at the Spearows. Then, he imagined them as a flock of roasted chickens. The purple Tasmanian Devil licked his lips before charging at the Spearows as a tornado. The Spearows were sucked into the tornado, screaming. Everybody began to hear crunching and munching sounds from the tornado. Feathers were sent flying everywhere too. When Dizzy stopped spinning, all that was left of the Spearows were bones and feathers.
"Dizzy!" scolded Buster.
"What? Dizzy hungry. And Dizzy saved Charmander," said Dizzy. He burped out some of the Spearow feathers.
"Le yuck," said Fifi.
(End Music)
Ash and Brock gathered around Charmander. "Oh no! The flame on its tail is almost out!" said Mary.
"Let's get it to the Pokémon Center!" said Brock.
"I'll make sure its flame tail stays lit," said Ash. Ash and Brock wrapped Charmander in their raincoats and they along with others ran to the Pokémon Center as fast as they could.
"Hold on! You can make it, Charmander!" said Brock. Very soon, Ash and his friends burst into the Pokémon Center. They panted.
"Joy. Please help us!" said Ash.
"What is it? What's wrong?" asked Joy, running to where Ash and his friends were at.
"This Charmander is in bad shape!" said Brock.
"The flame on its tail . . . ," said Ash. Nurse Joy gasped.
"There's not much time!" said Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy and Lacey began to perform medical treatment on Charmander. "Will it survive?" asked Brock.
"Charmander is very weak. How can you let it get into this condition?" asked Joy.
"It's not our fault. Damian's the one who abandoned it," said Ash.
"What?" asked Joy.
"Well. Damian promised Charmander that he'll come back for it," said Buster.
"Charmander's loyal to Damian," said Fowlmouth.
"So, eet believed heem," said Fifi.
"Poor Charmander. And Damian left it with the rest of them," said Lacey.
"Joy, Lacey, I'm begging you! Please save it! Charmander has gotta get better!" said Brock. Nurse Joy and Lacey nodded.
"We'll do whatever we can," said Joy.
"You can count on us," said Lacey.
Ash and his friends had to wait outside the medical room while Nurse Joy did her delicate work. The needle icon above the room's entrance was lit to show the medical treatment was in progress. She had Charmander strapped to a medical machine. Ash and his friends waited for a long time. Fifi held Pikachu in her arms. But since Pikachu was worried about Charmander, he didn't care if he was being held by the girl who was constantly wooing him aggressively. Charmander, you've got to hold on. Please, keep your flame burning, thought Brock. Just then, the needle icon stopped glowing.
"Huh?" asked Ash & Co. Nurse Joy did a V pose with her fingers. Ash and his friends sighed with relief.
"Le sigh," said Fifi.
"Charmander's recovering. It should be fine by morning," said Nurse Joy. Everybody saw that Charmander was asleep.
That's the spirit, Charmander, thought Brock.
It was now morning again, and Ash and Co. were still asleep. Most of them were on the couches except for Brock. When Ash turned, part of the cover came off Ash and fell on Pikachu, who was woken up by the covers falling on him.
"Wake up everybody!" cried Brock. Ash and Hamton fell off the couch.
"What's up Brock?" asked Hamton.
"Yeah, what's the matter?" asked Misty.
"Le yawn. What's so important that you had to wake us all up?" asked Fifi as she stretched her arms.
"Pikachu?" asked Pikachu.
"It's Charmander! Charmander has disappeared from the E.R.," said Brock.
"Le what?!" asked Fifi.
"But how?" asked Ash. Everybody arrived to the E.R. where Nurse Joy was waiting.
"I bet it went back to that rock to wait for Damian," said Mary.
"We gotta go back!" said Buster.
"But that's no use," said Hamton.
"We can't force Charmander to come with us if it wants to wait for Damian," said Shirley.
"Even if he is a lying creep," said Fowlmouth.
"They're right. There's nothing you can do until Charmander realizes the truth," said Joy.
A few miles from where the Pokémon Center was at, Charmander was on the move. The flame on its tail was burning nicely and was bigger than yesterday. He looked back at the Pokémon Center before moving again. Ash and his friends began to leave the Pokémon Center. Brock sighed in disappointment. "I thought Charmander understood that we cared about it," said Brock.
"Brock, Charmander knew zat we cared," said Fifi.
"But don't you see?" asked Shirley.
"It couldn't forget about Damian," said Ash.
"It's still loyal to him," said Dizzy.
"Chu," said Pikachu.
"That's why it went back," said Buster.
"A Pokémon is loyal to its Trainer to the very end," said Hamton. Bookworm nodded in agreement. Brock smiled. But then, Misty gave Brock a dope slap to snap him out of his daze.
"Come on. Route 24 is just ahead. Once we get to Vermillion City, there'll be plenty of Pokémon," said Misty. They began to walk again.

Miles away from where they were, Team Rocket were up to their old tricks yet again. They were practicing their motto again. They had a dark green machine with them. "To protect the world from devastation!" said Jessie.
"To unite all peoples within our nation!" said James.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" said Jessie.
"To extend our reach to the stars above!" said James.
"Jessie!" said Jessie.
"James!" said James. His tooth shined.
"Mind if I cut in? Huddle up. They're gonna be here soon," said Meowth.
"Finally, a full proof plan to capture Pikachu," said James.
"I'm so excited! I can't wait to test our new automatic high speed super duper watchyamacallit!" said Jessie.
"Start it up," said Jessie & James as they pressed a button on a remote control. Then, the machine began to transform.
"So, what does this thing do anyway?" asked Meowth. Then, a drill appeared on the machine and it began to drill a hole.
(End Music)
"Not another hole driller! We tried that already!" cried Meowth.
"If at first you don't succeed," said Jessie.
"This time, we'll remember where the hole is," said James. Very soon, Jessie and James covered up the hole.
"Are you sure you're gonna remember where the trap is?" asked Meowth nervously.
"Meowth, don't you think we're smarter than that?" asked Jessie. Meowth fell to the ground.
"Our trap is set," said James.
(Insert "Team Rocket's Secret Strategy" from Pokémon)
Just then, Meowth saw Ash and his friends coming. "Hey, here they come now!" said Meowth. Team Rocket hid behind the bushes and Jessie used the remote control to have the drill machine hide as well. Ash and his friends began walking toward where the trap was at.
"They're getting warm," said Jessie.
"Warmer," said James.
"They're burning up," said Meowth. However, Ash and his friends hadn't fallen yet.
"It's too strong," said Jessie.
"You used too much covering," said James.
"Hey!" said Meowth. He scratched his partners.
"Quiet!" said Meowth.
(End Music)
But something hilarious happened. Ash and co. didn't fall into the pit, at all. Team Rocket's eyes and jaws dropped at what they had seen. "Impossible!" cried Jessie.
"It defies logic and physics!" said James.
"Don't just stand there! We can't let them get away!" said Meowth. Team Rocket speedily changed into blue rubber suits & black gloves & boots resembling hazmat suits. They jumped out of the bushes and began pushing the group back toward the covered pitfall trap. "Oh no! Into the pit you go!" said Meowth. But Ash and co. still didn't set off the trap. Instead, it set off when Team Rocket were standing on it, again. Team Rocket screamed as the ground collapsed underneath them and landed at the bottom of the pit with a loud CRASH!
"Hey, that's Team Rocket!" said Ash.
"Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu. Team Rocket recovered and saw Ash and co. looking down on them.
"How can this be?!" asked Meowth.
"How come you fell into the trap and we did?!" asked Jessie. Everybody began to hear a familiar laughter. It was Sweetie Bird.
"I'll tell you why! In a lot of our Warner Bros. cartoons, the bad guys' traps only set off when the bad guy is near it or on it. So the same thing is happening to you," laughed Sweetie.
"But that defies the laws of physics and gravity!" objected Meowth.
"We toons never study law," said Buster.
"Hand over Pikachu or suffer our wrath!"'said James.
"Excuse moi, but you're clearly een no position to make threats to us. Especially since you heet rock bottom, literally," said Fifi. Some of the toons snickered at Fifi's joke. Fifi also giggled too.
"Pikachu, give them what for!" said Ash.
"Pikachuuuuuuuuuuu!" said Pikachu as he fired a Thunderbolt attack. But it when it hit Team Rocket, they were unaffected and just laughed.
"You'd have to be rocket scientists to outsmart us. Team Rocket scientists. For these suits are made of rubber and are Pika proof," bragged James. Sweetie Bird just laughed at Team Rocket.
"Oh yeah?! Wile E. Coyote may be a self proclaimed super genius, but his smarts couldn't help him beat the Roadrunner or Bugs Bunny. We toons aren't rocket scientists and you still haven't beaten us! Even someone as dumb as Elmyra could probably outwit you. That's right! I saw how she made fools out of you during the whole hidden village affair. In other words, your talk about being rocket scientists is just a bunch of hooey!" said Sweetie. And she gave Team Rocket the red eye face. This made Team Rocket mad.
"That's it! I've had it up to here with your heckling, you pink rat with wings!" said Meowth. Team Rocket climbed out of the hole, got out a bazooka weapon and aimed at Sweetie.
"For that, you will be the first victim of our Anti-Pikachu Rubber Balloon Bazooka! Meowth, care to do the honors?" asked James.
"With pleasure," said Meowth. He clicked the trigger and a bang sounded. Then, a purple rubber balloon started to inflate out of the bazooka barrel until it fully came out. Sweetie saw everything and burst into hysterical laughter.
"I'm so supposed to be terrified of that?! That's not even a real weapon! That's more for inflating balloons at birthday parties!" said Sweetie. And she continued laughing at Team Rocket til she fell on the ground, rolling. Just then, everyone saw the rubber balloon started to float toward Sweetie. She was too busy laughing herself silly to even notice it was coming toward her. Buster then realized what the purpose of the rubber balloon was.
"Sweetie, look out!" cried Buster. But it was too late. The purple balloon fell on top of Sweetie and it began to squish the purple bird.
"Hey! What the?!" cried Sweetie in a muffled voice. The balloon then engulfed Sweetie, trapping her. Everybody gasped seeing what had just happened. Team Rocket laughed at Sweetie Bird.
"How's that for a bunch of hooey?!" asked Meowth.
"Let me out, you bad ol' putty tat!" yelled Sweetie.
"After the way you mocked and belittled us?! Not a chance!" said Meowth. Team Rocket then aimed the balloon bazooka at Ash and co. "Now we're gonna trap you twerps one by one, saving Pikachu for last. That way, nobody can save him," said Jessie. Fearing for Pikachu's safety, Fifi picked him up and clutched him close to her.
"We'll never let you take my Pikachu Provolone away! Never!" said Fifi.
"You brats don't have a choice," said James.
"We have a choice! And we choose to defy you and fight back!" said Ash as he, Mary, Brock and Misty prepared to summon some Pokémon. But Buster held out his hand.
"I'll handle this guys," said Buster.
"But you'll be trapped like Sweetie," said Misty.
"Not gonna happen," said Buster. Buster zipped up to Team Rocket and looked into the balloon bazooka barrel. The blue bunny began to let out some wolf whistles, howls, growls and other lustful sounds. "Looking good and sexy, Babs. Rowr, rowr!" said Buster.
"What are you talking about?!" asked James. He turned the bazooka around and he & his partners looked into it. "I don't see anything!" said James.
"Then allow me to through the switch," said Buster. He clicked the trigger real good. Tram Rocket's eyes widened in horror. A red rubber balloon was fired out of the bazooka and it instantly engulfed the three thieves. Not to mention they were scrunched together within the rubber balloon.
"Hey! No fair! We're supposed to do the trapping!" snarled Jessie. Buster and the toons along with Ash & co. laughed at Team Rocket's predicament. Buster then kicked the rubber balloon and Team Rocket fell back into the pit.
"I guess you fell for that!" joked Buster. And the heroes laughed even harder. Now Team Rocket were really mad. Meowth used his claws to pop the balloon, freeing himself and his partners.
"That's it! Now you twerps asked for it!" snarled Meowth.
(Insert "I Got a Pokémon" from Pokémon)
But before they could fire the balloon bazooka again, a Flamethrower attack descended into the pit, setting the weapon ablaze. Team Rocket yelped. When the flames died down, the balloon bazooka was burned. And then, it crumbled into dust. "Who did that?!" asked Meowth. Team Rocket looked up and saw looking down on them was Charmander.
"Hey, it's Charmander," said Ash.
"What are you doing here?" asked Fifi.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"I just happened to be in the neighborhood," said Charmander.
"Hey, you! Stay out of this! This doesn't concern you!" yelled Jessie.
"Not a chance!" said Charmander. Charmander began to speak again.
"What's it saying now?" asked James.
"It's saying that we better leave those kids alone if we don't want to get burned," said Meowth.
"You got to be kidding me," said Jessie.
"Like Jessie said, stay out of this, you fire bug!" said James.
"Team Rocket plays rough! So get going!" said Meowth. This made Charmander mad. Jessie, James and Meowth's eyes widened, knowing what was going to happen. Ash and the others smirked, knowing Team Rocket were gonna get it.
"Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!" yelled Charmander as he fired another Flamethrower attack, this time at Team Rocket themselves.
(End Music)
(Insert "Fire Wario Theme" from Wario Land 2 & 3)
This instantly set the three thieves on fire. Team Rocket screamed as they jumped out of the pit and began to run for it. "You see?! Didn't I tell you we need fireproof uniforms?!" screamed James.
"Shut up and let's find water before we burn to ashes!" yelled Jessie.
"Some geniuses! Meowth" cried Meowth.
"TEAM ROCKET'S BURNING UP AGAIN!" screamed Team Rocket. Damian had seen everything.
"Charmander beat them?" asked Damian.
(End Music)
Ash and his friends were laughing their heads off due to Team Rocket's humiliation conga. "Those three morons were always good for a laugh!" said Fowlmouth.
"Like, totally!" said Shirley.
"Zat evil plan went down een flames, non?" giggled Fifi. Everybody laughed even harder due to Fifi's pun.
"Good one, Fifi!" laughed Ash.
"Hey, if you are done making jokes about and laughing, can somebody please free me?!" asked Sweetie.
"Fine, fine," said Buster. He got out a sharp pin and popped the balloon that Sweetie was in, freeing her.
"I wasted enough time here. I'm outta here," said Sweetie. And she flew away.
"Thanks for the help, Charmander, " said Brock.
"You see, Brock? Charmander knew we cared," said Misty.
"That's why it's here," said Mary.
"Way to go," said Fifi. She then gave Charmander a kiss on the cheek, leaving a pink kiss mark.
"Chaaar," said Charmander, blushing. Fifi giggled before wiping the kiss mark off with a tissue. "How did you not fall into pit and yet Team Rocket did?" asked Charmander, scratching his head.
"Us toons have done stuff that defies logic and physics. That's what makes the Warner Bros. cartoons funny," said Buster.
"Charmander, how'd you like to join up with us? I'm afraid your Trainer isn't going to be coming back," said Ash.
"Hey, Charmander. Been looking all over for you," said a voice. It was Damian.
"Damian, it's you!" said Ash.
"What do you want, Damian?" asked Brock.
"I came back for Charmander. Just like I promised," said Damian. Everybody gasped.
"So let's go," said Damian. Charmander looked sadly toward Ash and the group.
"Careful, this trainer already abandoned you once before," said Mary.
"Charmander is mine. I'm the one who caught it, remember?" asked Damian.
"Damian, you bragged about how you abandoned it!" said Shirley.
"Good thing I did. That toughened it up. Besides, what's wrong about dumping off a weak Pokémon?" asked Damian.
"Char," said Charmander.
"I wasn't gonna come back for it. But now that I've seen what it can do, I'm real glad I ran into you guys," said Damian.
"Char," said Charmander.
"The best thing is, I didn't have to raise it myself," said Damian.
"That's terrible!" said Dizzy.
"Raising a Pokémon is the best part of being a Trainer!" said Mary.
"You wish. It's the most boring part of the job," said Damian.
"How dare you call yourself a Pokémon Trainer!" said Brock.
"You see? He doesn't care about you," said Misty.
"He just wants to use you to win matches," said Fifi. Charmander sighed sadly.
"Charmander!" said Ash.
"Charmander!" said Brock.
"Charmander, return!" said Damian. He threw an empty Pokéball at Damian. But Charmander simply tail-whipped the ball back at Damian. Damian gasped before he was hit in the face by the Pokéball. Everybody gasped seeing what had happened. This made Damian angry.
(End Music)
"That does it! I'll crush you with every Pokémon I got!" said Damian, taking out a whole pile of Pokéballs.
"Chaaaaaaaaar!" said Charmander as he fired a hot stream of flames at Damian.
"Chuuuuuuuuuuu!" said Pikachu, firing electricity. Both the flames and the electricity burned and electrocuted Damian at the same time. Damian screamed as he was getting attacked. And finally, Fifi fired a single stink bullet from her tail. It ignited the fire and electricity, causing a big explosion. Everybody shielded themselves from the explosion. When the explosion subsided, Damian and his Pokéballs were black as soot and smoking. Fifi blew on her tail like a real gun.
"Boo hoo hoo! Mommy!" cried Damian. And began to run away.
"Way to go, Charmander!" said Brock.
"Yeah! Good work!" said Ash. As Damian was running, he wasn't looking where he was going. He suddenly ran into a patty wagon. An Officer Jenny closed the doors of the van behind him. Her hat symbol was a tree.
"Hey! What's going on?" asked Damian.
"Nurse Joy and Lacey called me and told me about how you abandoned your Charmander. It nearly cost the poor Pokémon his life. I was also told by other Nurse Joys that you abused your other Pokémon. Therefore, I'm placing you under arrest and striping you of your license of being a Pokémon Trainer. Your Pokémon will be confiscated as well," said Jenny. Damian slumped to his knees. Then, the van began to drive away, with Damian in tow. Charmander looked at Ash and Co.
"Go ahead, Ash. You get Charmander. It'll be a great Pokémon," said Brock.
"But Brock. You saved it. So you deserve it I guess," said Ash.
"Right. But don't forget, you're the one who kept the flame on its tail lit," said Brock.
"I'm sure you'll raise Charmander to be a great Pokémon," said Mary.
"Thank you, guys," said Ash. He turned to Charmander.
(Insert "A Meeting & Parting" from Pokémon)
"Come on, Charmander. Welcome to the group," said Ash.
"Char, Char," said Charmander. Charmander jumped into its Pokéball and it was caught.
"You got a Pokémon and a new friend," said Misty.
"Yeah," said Ash. The Pokéball was transported to Prof. Oak's lab. "I'll switch one of my other Pokémon for Charmander when we get the next Pokémon Center," said Ash. And so, Charmander joins Ash and his friends on their journey. Maybe getting lost isn't so bad after all. Especially when your lost with your friends. Of course, finding your way with your friends is even better.

Sneak Peek
On the next episode of Tiny Toon Adventures in Kanto, Ash and co. have a run in with a group of mischief making Squirtles called the Squirtle Squad. The heroes also encounter Plucky Duck, who is determined to catch them to claim the bounty on their heads. Team Rocket decide to dupe the Squirtle Squad into helping them catch Pikachu. But our heroes are determined to show the Squirtles that they can't be troublemakers for the rest of their lives. Can our heroes stop the villains before somebody gets badly hurt or even killed? And how far will Plucky go to get the money for the capture of the Squirtles? Find out, in "Here Comes the Squirtle Squad" on Tiny Toon Adventures in Kanto.
I hope you liked this adaptation. Now you see how the toons' are further frustrating Team Rocket. Their traps will only set off when they are near them like a traditional Looney Tunes cartoon. Next episode, they'll finally encounter Plucky Duck and you'll see what has happened in his various attemps to catch the Squirtle Squad. Pikachu won't get hurt this time. You'll see why.
