Everyone arrived at the ZAFT base before Commander Waltfeld, Team Samui, and Cagalli went to his office. In there they saw a lady with dark blue hair wearing a blue bodysuit.
"You're back Andy" said Aisha
She then noticed who was with them and what they were wearing.
"Are these the ones we were told about" asked Aisha
"Yes" said Andrew nodding his head
"Who is this" asked Samui
"This is my partner Aisha" said Andrew
"So, you are the ones she learned everything from" asked Aisha
"Yes" said Kira nodding his head
"You look like you could fit right in with us" said Karui
"Why thank you" said Aisha smiling
They all sat down before they started talking.
"Do you know that Zala is going to win" asked Andrew
"Yes" said Kira
"Anything new you can tell us about that" he asked
"No" said Andrew shaking his head
"Did the three G-Weapons crash near here" asked Cagalli
"They did" said Andrew
"They are being repaired and the pilots are recuperating" he said
"They should be ready to go soon" he added
"That's good" said Cagalli
"Why is that" asked Aisha
"I thought you would want them destroyed" she added
"We can't pilot ours if we don't have anyone to fight against" said Kira
"Where and when do you want to have our spar" he asked
"Spar" asked Andrew confused
"I do not want to hurt one of our informants but we are going to have to fight you to keep our cover" explained Kira
"I was wondering if you knew the best time and place to do that" he asked
"It would be best to do it around the time the G-Weapons are finished being repaired" said Cagalli
"That way they can attack us on our way to Orb" she added
Commander Waltfeld took out a map and looked at it.
"The resistance fighters will probably suggest using this route to escape" said Andrew tracing it on the map
"It takes you through an old mining area out to the Red Sea" he said
"That would be the perfect place to lay a lot of traps" said Samui
"We can have our spar there" said Andrew
"We will be going all out" he said holding out his hand
"Then we will too" said Kira grasping Andrew's hand
They both shook on it.
They returned to the Archangel and watched over the next few days as the command crew of the Archangel planned with the resistance fighters on how to escape. They wound up using the exact same route that Commander Waltfeld told them they would. It was lined with mines they hoped would take out the enemy.
When the day to execute the plan came, Karui asked "How do you want to do this"
"I will spar with Commander Waltfeld while you deal with whoever else shows up" said Kira
"Ok" said Karui nodding her head
They both went to the locker room to get changed before heading to their Gundams. As they were getting strapped in a large explosion shook the ship as all the mines went off at once.
"There go the mines" said Kira
"So much for that trap" said Karui
"Prepare to launch" said Natarle
The Strike was loaded with the Aile Pack while the Skygrasper was loaded with the Launcher Pack as they all got ready to launch.
"Kira Yamato, Strike launching"
"Karui, Aegis launching"
The Skygrasper launched after them and all three of them headed towards the enemy ship that was launching BuCUEs and combat helicopters.
"Deal with the mobile suits" said Mu
"I will deal with the helicopters" he said
"Ok" said Kira
The Strike took out its beam saber while the Aegis activated one of its own as they charged at the BuCUEs. They started destroying BuCUEs until the Archangel was attacked by another ship.
"Go handle those other ships Karui" said Kira
"He should be showing up anytime now" he said
"Yes" said Karui
She deactivated her beam saber and took off towards the new ships attacking the Archangel. As she was avoiding the ship's fire she decided to try out an idea she thought of to use the Aegis' MA mode on Earth.
"Let's see if this idea will work" thought Karui
She had the Aegis jump high into the sky and transform into its MA mode. She then fired the Scylla cannon at the Petrie-class ships destroying one of its back 'wings'. The Aegis transformed back into its mobile suit form before crashing into the sand.
"It actually worked" exclaimed Karui
The Aegis got up and into its new position to try it again.
With the Strike, it watched as the LaGOWE was launched from the Lesseps. The Strike charged at it with its beam saber while the LaGOWE activated its own beam saber and met the charge. They both clashed for a bit before jumping back.
"So, you want a saber duel huh" said Andrew
"Aisha, fire the cannon at him but make sure not to hit him" he said
"You want to keep this a saber duel but make it look like it's not" said Aisha
"Yes" said Andrew
"Ok" said Aisha
As they were fighting Kira noticed that the LaGOWE's cannon was firing near him not at him.
"Nice illusion" thought Kira
"I knew you would fit in well with us" he thought
After a few more clashes Kira thought "It's time to end this"
During the next clash, the Strike took out one of its knives and destroyed the LaGOWE's camera with it. The Strike then dodged the LaGOWE's next charge and slice off one of its wings reducing its speed and maneuverability. Then on the next pass, the Strike chopped the LaGOWE's rear legs causing it to crash into the ground.
"Looks like I win this spar" said Kira
He returned to the Archangel and watched as the Aegis disabled the last Petrie-class ship.
"That was an interesting way to use the Aegis' cannon in the atmosphere" said Kira
"Thank you" said Karui
They both returned to the Archangel and it make it out onto the Red Sea. But the resistance fighters didn't make it. The Archangel splashed down into the water and started sailing towards Alaska.
All the off-duty crew members were given permission to go out on the deck to enjoy some downtime. Team Samui and Cagalli went out onto the deck and sat down enjoying the cool ocean breeze.
Looking out at the ocean, Karui asked "Does beam weaponry work under water"
"No" said Cagalli shaking her head
"Oh great" said Karui sighing slumping against the wall
"That means I going to be reduced to a gun emplacement" she said
"It's a good thing that the Sword pack allows the Strike to fight underwater" said Kira
"You could always steal one of the lifters that ZAFT uses" said Samui
"Or destroy the one the attackers are using causing them to fall into the water" said Cagalli
"I guess so" said Karui
Sometime after they went back inside the alarm went off and they heard over the radio "All hands level two battle stations"
"Looks like ZAFT has finally shown up" said Karui
Kira looked at the radar and saw two blips speeding towards the ship.
"Looks like we got to DINNs approaching" said Kira
"They must be scouts to help locate the ship" said Samui
"Meaning the main force will be made up of GOOhNs" said Cagalli
"We better go get ready" said Kira getting up
Both Kira and Karui left their room and ran towards the locker room. Once they finished getting changed they heard over the radio "All hands level one battle stations"
They ran to the hanger and got into their Gundams.
"Load the Sword Pack" said Kira
"But that will make your machine even less capable of flying" said Murdoch
"I'm not going to be flying" said Kira
"I am going underwater" he said
"But beam weaponry doesn't work in water" said Murdoch
"I know that" shouted Kira
"But the Anti-Ship sword is sharp enough to destroy a mobile suit" he said
"Alright" said Murdoch
The Archangel's hanger bay opened and the Skygrasper launched with the Launcher Pack, the Aegis jumped up onto the ship, and the Strike with the Sword Pack jumped into the water.
Kira looked around and saw that only two GOOhNs were attacking.
"This is either a test or they are underestimating us" thought Kira
"Better not reveal everything that I can do" he thought
The Strike started dodging all the GOOhNs' attacked and didn't attack back. Eventually one of the GOOhNs got frustrated and charged at the Strike. Once he was sure the GOOhN couldn't dodge, he took out one of the Strike's knives and stabbed the GOOhN destroying it. He then immediately put the knife away so to not lose it.
The second GOOhN stayed away from the Strike and kept attacking it from afar. The Strike took out its Anti-Ship sword and charged at it. The GOOhN started dodging all the Strike's attacks until it got distracted by the debris of the destroyed DINNs sinking around them. That allowed the Strike to destroy it before heading back.
Back above the water Karui worked with the Skygrasper and the Archangel and destroyed both DINNs that were attacking them.
Once they were both back in the locker room, Karui asked "How did it go down there"
"There were only two of them down there" said Kira
"I goaded one of them to charging at me and destroyed it with one of the Strike's knives" he said
"I then destroyed the other with the Strike's Anti-Ship sword" he said
"I saw you were able to take out those two DINNs" he added
"I worked with the Skygrasper and Archangel to corral them into an area where I could destroy them" said Karui
"The debris from them gave me the opening that I needed to destroy the other one" said Kira
"I'm glad that I could be of service" said Karui
"How was it being a gun emplacement" asked Kira
"Not as bad as I thought it would be" said Karui
"But it might be worse next time when they send more mobile suits after us" she said
"That's not including when the G-Weapons get around to attacking us again" said Kira
