Sometime later they came under attack again. This time the plan was for Aegis to protect the Archangel while the Skygrasper hunted down the submarine. The Strike with the Sword Pack jumped into the ocean and saw three mobile suits. Two GOOhNs and a ZnO.
"The commander must be here" thought Kira
Kira tried to do the same strategy as last time but both GOOhNs just blasted past him towards the Archangel while the ZnO charged at him.
"Karui, I will have to leave two of the units to you" said Kira
"The commander is here" he said
"Ok" said Karui
The Aegis started firing at the two GOOhNs, but they would dive underwater before any attacks could hit them.
"This is just like fighting Kiri shinobi" thought Karui
"But I can't use Jutsu here" she thought
Soon she heard over the radio "Prepare for barrel roll"
"WHAT" yelled Karui
The Aegis jumped up as the Archangel did a barrel roll and fired its Gottfrieds at the two GOOhNs destroying them. The Aegis landed on the Archangel as it finished its barrel roll.
"Did you forget that I am out here" shouted Karui
Kira drew the Anti-Ship sword while waiting for the ZnO to get closer. As it did, he saw that it was a CQC mobile suit. When it got into range it thrusted one of its claws towards the Strike. The Strike fired it rocket anchor at the ZnO before dropping its Anti-Ship sword. While the ZnO was distracted the Strike drew one of its knives and stabbed the ZnO. It then grabbed the Anti-Ship sword and slashed the ZnO and pushed it away before it exploded.
The Strike returned to the Archangel along with the Skygrasper that destroyed the submarine that was following them.
In the locker room Kira asked "How did it go"
"It was like fighting Kiri shinobi" said Karui
"Did you eventually get them" asked Kira
"No" said Karui shaking her head
"The Archangel did a barrel roll and destroyed them with the Gottfrieds" she explained
"I bet no one liked that" said Kira
They went back to their room and told Cagalli and Samui what happened.
"So, the only enemies we have left are the stolen G-Weapons" said Cagalli
"Are we still on track for Orb" asked Samui
"Yes" said Cagalli nodding her head
As they got closer to Orb's border ZAFT has not attacked yet with the G-Weapons.
"If they don't attack soon, we are going to miss our chance" said Cagalli
"All hands level one battle stations"
"Speak of the devil" said Samui
"Looks like they are here" said Kira
"We will need to prolong the battle until we get to Orb's border" he said
"Then we can take out their flying units" he said
"Right" said Karui
They ran to the locker room and got changed before getting into their Gundams. The Strike was loaded with Aile pack and they both jumped out and landed on the Archangel.
The Duel, Blitz, and Buster flew towards them on Guul units. They started attacking the Archangel with the Strike and Aegis firing back.
When they arrived at Orb's border, Orb's Defense Fleet was already there. Cagalli and Samui ran to the bridge and they got there when Orb gave them their first warning.
"Keep going into Orb" said Cagalli
"What about what they said" exclaimed Murrue
"Just do it" said Cagalli
She then went over to Kuzzey, who was cowering in his seat, and stole his earpiece.
"Give me that you coward" shouted Cagalli
"Attention Orb Defense Fleet" she said
"Allow this ship to enter Orb waters" she said
"Who are you to order me" said the Orb Commander
"I am Cagalli Yula Athha, daughter of Chief Representative of the Orb Union Uzumi Nara Athha"
"What proof do you have of that" said the Orb Commander
"Well, since you are blind get me your superior officer" said Cagalli
"I don't have to listen to you" said the Orb Commander cutting it
Cagalli took off the earpiece and threw it back at Kuzzey.
"Keep going into Orb and don't stop or react to whatever they do" said Cagalli
Outside, Kira and Karui took out two Guuls causing the Blitz and Buster to crash into the ocean. But before the Buster crashed it took out some of the Archangel's engines. That caused the Archangel to crash into the ocean as it crossed Orb's border. The Orb Defense Fleet fired on the Archangel and hit the water all around it. That caused ZAFT to retreat.
The Strike and the Aegis went back into the Archangel as the Orb Defense Fleet took it to Onogoro Island. They took the Archangel into a hanger hidden in a mountain.
The Command staff left to talk to Lord Uzumi while Myrna went onboard to find Cagalli. She found her in her room while Samui hid out of sight.
"I'm so glad you are alright Cagalli" said Myrna hugging Cagalli
"Why are you here Myrna" asked Cagalli
"To help you get dressed" said Myrna letting go of Cagalli and opening the suitcase she brought
"I don't need help" said Cagalli
"You can't go out dressed like that" said Myrna taking out a dress
"There is nothing wrong with what I am wearing" said Cagalli crossing her arms over her chest
Myrna started fighting with Cagalli over it until eventually Cagalli was forced into the dress. Myrna then took Cagalli's hand only for her to rip it away.
"I can walk just fine by myself" said Cagalli
Samui followed them as they went back to the Chief Representative's Residence. Once Myrna took them to Cagalli's room and left, Cagalli tore off the dress and unsealed her usual outfit.
"So, you can act like a princess" said Samui
"Shut it" growled Cagalli
"Let's go" she said
They left her room and went to her secret HQ.
"Cagalli-sama" said the solider saluting when seeing her
"What is the current situation" asked Cagalli
"Captain Ramius has agreed to give the Strike's and Aegis' combat data to Morgenroete in exchange for repairing and resupplying the Archangel" said the soldier
"That's good" said Cagalli
"What about the Sahakus" she asked
"Gina has disappeared after Heliopolis while Mina is on board the Ame No Mihashira" said the soldier
"So, there is nothing we can do about them" grumbled Cagalli
"He is the latest report from ZAFT" said the soldier holding it out to her
Cagalli took it and read over it. Her eyes widen before they narrowed.
"Tell Chief Simmons we are heading to Morgenroete now" said Cagalli
"Yes ma'am" said the soldier saluting and walking away
"Why are we going there now" asked Samui
"ZAFT is building nuclear powered mobile suits" said Cagalli
"I take she wants us to go up there and take possession of them" said Samui
"Yes" said Cagalli nodding her head
"I have an idea to you get you up there, but it will require another battle with the stolen units after you leave Orb" she explained
"You want them to fake their deaths by self-destructing their Gundams" said Samui
"Yes" said Cagalli nodding her head
They went to Morgenroete and went to where Chief Simmons was. She was speaking with Kira, Karui, and Orb's top three pilots, Asagi, Juri, and Mayura.
"You wanted to speak with me" said Erica seeing Cagalli
"Yes" said Cagalli nodding her head
"It is good you are all here, so I don't have to repeat myself" she said
"I just received word that ZAFT is building two nuclear powered mobile suits" she said
"You wouldn't have to worry about power with that leading to more powerful defenses and weapons" said Erica
"We need to get up there and take them" said Kira
"I have an idea on how to do that" said Cagalli
She went to go explain her idea when the alarm went off. Chief Simmons ran over to a communicator and activated it.
"What is going on" asked Erica
"The Duel and Buster are quickly approaching"
"ZAFT is attacking us" shouted Erica
"I do not think so ma'am"
"It is only the Duel and Buster"
Kira and Karui ran to their Gundams and got in them before taking off.
"Are our mobile suits ready to go" asked Cagalli
"Not yet" said Erica shaking her head
"We are still fine tuning the Natural OS and building yours" she said
"Damn" said Cagalli
The Strike and Aegis landed on a nearby island as the Duel and Buster jumped off their Guuls and landed near them.
"It's the two hotheads" said Kira
"Take our usual targets" asked Karui
"Yes" said Kira
The Strike drew one of its beam sabers while the Aegis activated one of its own as they charged forward.
Kira noticed that as he got closer to the Buster, while avoiding its shots, it wasn't backing away.
"So, all three of you are here" thought Kira
"It will take more than a simple trick to get me" he thought
At the last second before the Strike reached the Buster it jumped back and shot where it previously was. That revealed the Blitz whose arm with the shield system was extended was destroyed by the beam shot. The Strike stabbed the Blitz's cockpit destroying it. It then slashed the Buster in half destroying it as well.
The Aegis and the Duel starting dueling. Once the Duel was distracted by the Blitz's and the Buster's destruction the Aegis activated its second beam saber and slashed the Duel. That caused the Duel to stagger back allowing the Aegis to stab its cockpit destroying it.
"They tried to trick us with the Blitz" said Karui
"Yes" said Kira
"But it was so obvious it wasn't even funny" he said
Back at Morgenroete, everyone was watching the battle on the monitor.
"There goes that idea" said Cagalli
"Maybe we could just leave the Archangel saying our contract is complete" said Samui
"Let them form their own conclusions" she said
"Thank could work" said Cagalli
"I can't believe ZAFT let them do that" said Asagi
"They will probably say they were acting on their own without ZAFT's backing" said Samui
"Someone had to pilot the sub out here and launch them" said Juri
"Since they were Red Coats, they outranked them and ordered them to do it" said Cagalli
