The sounds of the birds chirping outside began to stir the young summon from his slumber. After his little stunt last night because of Galluk, he swiftly fell asleep in no time. He was more lucky that Rem and Shera weren't awake and waiting for him upon coming back.

He slowly opened his eyes as his vision became clearer, as the light of the sun poured in, while Rem was having some tea and Shera having a sandwich for breakfast, of course the two girls quickly noticed he was awake as Shera beamed a happy smile at him.

"Ah! Morning, Cody!" The elf greeted with a wave before stuffing her face once again.

"You slept like a rock." Rem noted to him.

"Heh, guess traversing worlds did take a lot out of me?" Cody chuckled as he placed on his glasses to regain more of his vision before he hopped up to sit and eat as their were second helpings for him to have since Shera was akin to Kirby, and would eat anything without worry. Well, minus absorbing powers and whatnot.

"Be glad Shera didn't eat our share." Rem said, as she picked up a sandwich to bite on.

"You're so mean, Rem! I wouldn't eat it all!" Shera pouted at the comment.

"Knowing you? You would." Rem countered as the elf pouted more.

"Thanks either way." Cody chuckled in response as he took a few bites as well. "So, are we still doing the Guild application?"

"Mhm, we were just waiting for you to wake up. Rather have all of us their than just us two." Rem nodded in response.

"Yup! We have to send some papers to make us a team after all!" Shera added with a nod.

"There's no such papers, Shera." Rem stated with a sigh.

"Huh? But then how would the others know we're a team?" The elf responded in confusion.

"By simply seeing us together."

"Can't go one day without some arguing, huh?" Cody commented but with a smile as the girls huffed.

"Don't you think we should get some papers done for that, Cody?" Shera asked the young man, quickly hugging his arm as she pouted in response.

"W-Well… I mean…" Cody tried to respond to her question, but due to her grasp, his arm was fully embraced by the elf's chest, making him blush in response to it.

"Will you let go of him? Sides, his response does mean he agrees with me." Rem said with a nod.

"That's not fair!" Shera huffed with a frown.

'Geez… they truly do act like sisters….' Cody sighed within his thoughts. But it wasn't so bad being with them though. At least it won't ever get too boring around here.

Soon after a few more drinks and eating, the trio got fully dressed and started to make their way to the Adventurer's Guild, with Rem leading the way as Shera forgot the location, and Cody was new here. She did sigh in response, but accepted the lead as the young catgirl lead the other two, while also giving Cody a better look of the town and the area.

It was still like any regular town either in some game or in a movie as it was very low quality compared to his home and medieval-esc in design. But of course, it still had some charm to it. Rem even answered any question Cody had, besides the whole history of the town.

She did inform that they were living with Faltra City, but especially in a district mostly made for the Demi's to live in, as not many humans were here except for a few things. Explaining the other Demi's to him as he asked as he informed them that where he was from only had humans.

He rather not accidentally insult a Demi due to their background or even looks. But it also explained why it wasn't the best kept place, most likely due to people's fears and or attitude towards the Demi's.

He was also informed that the city was mostly meant to be the frontline against any intruding force, which she told that it would be from the Fallen, as they only want to destroy anything that the Demon Lord commands.

Remembering from last night his proclamation, he had a soft nervous chuckle. Worried that Galluk could use that against him, but he only could just assume and believe that his indimiation worked well enough for that to never happen.

Soon after their walk and small detour, the trio reached the Adventurer's Guild as they went inside. Of course, as he expected it to be, it was rowdy due to some of the members within either chatting away, arguing or fighting, or even simply playing some games to pass the time while other came and went for their mission.

"Not too bad of a place." Cody commented as it reminded him of a Renaissance Fair.

"We'll have to go the second floor to register you both." Rem informed as the two nodded.

As the trio went to the second floor, they find a small receptionist area with three girls, all with the same facial features, body types and looks as they had canine ears and tails. The only thing that separated them were the color of their outfits. These were Beastial Dwarven Woman, as it seemed the race of Dwarves in this world had either human design or beastial.

"W-Welcome once more, Rem." The demi-girl in blue nodded, albeit in a shy tone. "W-What can we do for you today?"

"I need to have these two register to the guild. Can you bring out the paperwork for it?" Rem requested to the receptionists.

The other two nodded as they brought out luckily only a few papers as Shera was the first one to start writing things down. Cody though only could look at his with utter confusion.

'Yup… Can't read anything. Why can't my new powers give that to me?' The blonde rider said with a heavy sigh, as that gained the attention from the Pantherian.

"What's wrong?"

"I.. um… can't read this language." Cody confessed to her.

Rem blinked before letting out a soft chuckle, "That's all? It's okay, I'll take over the writing part for you if thats what you need? But after the mission you're going to have to start learning our language." she stated to him.

Cody never much had a thing for school, even with its importance. But with a new life in his grasp, he'll work past those issues to learn as Rem helped fill out what he needed before finishing the paper work. But that wasn't the end of it as the receptionists gave them a knife.

"What's this for?" Cody questioned.

"U-Um… well.. T-To complete the paperwork. W-We need a blood contract addition…" The demi-girl in yellow informed. "I-It's needed so that this p-paperwork can't be forged…"

Shera and Cody flinched as this was a bit more than they realized. But if they want to make some living as being adventurers, this needed to happen. Cody stepped forward as he took up the knife, just visioning this as like taking a needle for medicine or for a diabetic test.

And with one little swipe across his finger, he did it! At least… for a second, as soon a literal fountain of blood spewed from the cut, like he just broke the dam to some lake!

'Cut too deep! Cut too deep!' He cried out in shock, as he swiftly stamped the paper with his very bloody finger, as specks of blood splattered in response, even being flung onto the receptionist who was mortified by the scene.

"Are you okay?" Shera asked, worried.

Cody at first seemed ready to whimper in response, but the blood spewing stopped. He looked at his finger to find the wound already healed!

'Must've been my new power that stopped that?' He pondered in his thoughts once more before waving off that he was fine.

The two girls sighed in relief as Shera then did her blood contract, as luck may have it, she did it without much problem as that gave everyone a relieved sigh.

"N-Now then… um, w-we need you two to step over here please…." The demi-girl in red called out as nearby was a simple mirror that was a metal gray on the mirror and gold rimmings around it. "T-This is to… read your power a-and see what level you are… T-This'll determine the q-quests that we can offer…"

"I see, thats very handy." Cody noted with a nod.

Shera stood next to the mirror as she will take the test first. Upon touching the glass, the mirror glimmered for a bit before revealing the mirrored image of Shera. The receptionist taking notes on how the reflection was and how detailed it could be.

"F-From how well the reflection is… a-and how detailed it can be… You s-seem to be Level 30…" The red dressed demi-girl informed.

"Wah!? Geez… I'm ten behind Rem…." Shera pouted out in disappointment.

"Hey, the fact that you're that close to her, just means how good you truly are Shera. Don't be so sad about that." Cody said, complimenting and trying to cheer the girl up.

"R-Really?" Shera got out, as she didn't think of that at all.

"Mhm, so have more confidence in yourself, okay?" Cody smiled before the elf hugged him happily.

"Thank you, Cody! I do feel much better now!" Shera said happily as the elf was happy to hear the praise.

"Hey… hands off, remember?" Rem glared at the elf, as she was unsure why she was so upset over the sight?

Cody chuckled softly as he then stepped forward. Knowing that if getting a reflection was all he needed, surely he could do the same. But the moment he placed his hand against the mirror, instead of a reflection, the mirror turned black as red and gold energy began to surge and shiver within the mirror. Crackles of red sparked out of the mirror as the entire room was now tinted in an odd haze as everything began to twist, distort and shake.

Whatever was happening, was bad news as Cody quickly pulled his hand away. The moment he did, the odd haze and alterations stopped as did the crackling of energy and power as the mirror soon cracked several times before it soon collapsed turning to a pile of ash.

"Just what was all that?!" A voice cried out as from a nearby door, flung open as rushing out with a confused look was a young woman, just as small as Rem, but with short pink hair, simple white cloth around her chest and waist as two rabbit ears and a tail were poking out of her body.

"G-Guild Master! I… er… um… we erm…" The demi-girl in blue got out, as it seemed even they didn't know what was going on.

The newly revealed guildmaster turned to the trio, looking at them carefully before looking at the mirror as she returned her gaze at them. But instead of some angered response or snap of emotion, she gave a friendly smile as she gestured to her room.

"Please, why don't we all speak about this privately?" She offered the group.

XXX

As the trio sat there with some refreshments as the Guildmaster, as she now introduced herself to Sylvie to them, listened to the report of what just happened, knowing it now to be an accident but still something that was unexplainable. But she didn't seem to scold the group or anything as she simply nodded.

"I must admit, that reaction to the mirror is something that never happened before. Not even some of the strongest or most powerful people in history have had such a response to that mirror. You seem to be a bit more special then, huh?" The guildmaster noted as she kept one eye on them while the other was closed to ponder.

"I hope this doesn't mean we're being kicked out, are we?" Cody stated, as he was worried he just ruined any chance of a job for him or the others.

"Quite the contrary. The fact that your touch gave an unknown reaction and turned it to ash, means I don't think we could have any job that'd fit with those parameters." She informed the group.

"But we need a job if we need to keep living here!" Shera gasped, as this did bring a problem.

"Hey now, just because I said that doesn't mean I'm denying you all a job. Just thought that with how much power your friend has, it would prove triviale to even try." Slyvie stated as she turned her gaze to Cody.

Cody though simply shrugged, "I honestly don't care. We could do the smallest and easiest job to the toughest and most impossible job. I just wanna have this new life with these two and I don't care about the money expenses to me." He informed her, showing he wasn't picky on what job they got or the pay for it.

The rabbit demihuman smiled softly as she nodded, "I see, then well I believe this job will suffice as a starter for you three, no?" She noted before pulling out one of the job fliers before handing it to Rem.

"Hmm, a group of bandits on the borders to the town and the dwarven kingdom?" Rem read off the job listing.

"They even have an ex-adventurer with them as their new first commander. Think you can bring them in?" Slyvie asked with a sly grin.

Cody though gave a cheeky smirk back to her, "We'll have them back and begging for forgiveness." He proclaimed to her.

"I thought as much. Enjoy the job you three!" Slyvie waved to them as she handed them their guild badges, that was their excuse to exit the office and head off to their job. As they made it outside of the guild building, all three of them let off a heavy sigh of relief.

"That was more stressful than I thought…" Rem groaned out.

"I thought I was going to be thrown out…." Cody groaned in response.

"Still though, even with heavy reactions from the mirror that I've heard of. To see it just turn to ash was unbelievable. What did you even do?" Rem asked the young man.

"Wish I could tell ya. Just simple placed and didn't even think about how to get it to activate." Cody shrugged.

"We must've got a God-Tier Summon if that's how it was!" Shera assumed, trying to show the brighter side of it as it truly did give them the option to handle and do any job request the guild gains.

"As much as that seems unbelievable to comprehend…. I don't think you're too far off this time, Shera." Rem nodded as it was the only explanation.

"Either way, we should get some supplies for our trip. Shera and I will get potions and food. Think you can handle anything else that we could need?" The Pantherian asked, handing him a bag of money.

"I've already got a few things in mind that we could need." Cody nodded in response. While this would be his first real adventure, but since he has some experience with these styles of jobs due to him playing games throughout his life, he could figure out what they needed.

"Good. Then we'll head off and reconvene at the south west gate entrance." Rem smiled softly as the two girls headed off.

Cody waved them back before he too set off. While he still was unsure on the layout of the city. But with his adventure badge, he could get some help as he made his way off to the northern side of his spot to find what he needed.

XXX

As the young man went through the shopping market of the area, he noticed many different things. Each shop owner, other than being Demi's also had their own unique style to either their works or produce. It was fascinating that even though there are a few shops that are the same, they had their own style and can coexist with others like them.

Cody pondered over in his thoughts on what he needed. From some projectiles, to first aid additions, some food, and any magical items he could use even if its a one use scroll.

Another thing was to carry it all which meant he needed baggage. Since it had some game elements, perhaps there is a bag that can hold countless stuff, right?

… Oh who was he kidding, of course they would but possibly expensive as well! But he also knew that he could make it bottomless as well thanks to what he has!

'Man, Oma Zi-O was a swiss army knife of powers.' Cody thought to himself with a snicker.

And that settled the matter, first off was a bag and some pouches to start off. He looked around before finding a utility shop as he made his way inside.

"Ah, welcome sir! What can I get for you, today?" The owner said, as Cody noticed the rabbit ears, meaning it was a 'Grasswalker' from Rem's description she gave him yesterday on the species.

"I'm here for some bags and pouches! Got anything for a new adventurer to use? Something affordable?" The blonde smiled at the Grasswalker for their advice and help.

"Hmm…" the owner pondered and rummaged through the current collection. "Ah." Pulling the selected bag from the shelf, the owner set it before the young man. "How about this choice? It's fairly simple, can hold up to 20 items and it's affordable for a new adventurer like yourself. What do you think?"

"I'll take it." The blonde smiled, as he handed the money to the owner for the bag. "Thanks again!"

"Do take care."

He chuckled albeit slightly and took the bag with him. At least he wasn't ripped off as the owner was genuinely honest and sincere.

Once out of the shop, next was small supplies for first aid and treatments as he made his way over to the nearby potion shop, knowing it would have what he needed from both potions and ingredients to make whatever he needed. Inside was an elderly dwarf who was stocking up some new supplies as they heard the door open.

Everything here was definitely straight out of fantasy with the various races here.

"Greetings! To which services can I do for you today?" Unlike the honest and calm owner from before, this one was boisterous and proud.

"Well, aside from the usual potions for a starter adventurer. Do you have anything that I can use to craft potions, ailments and everything in between?" He requested to the dwarf.

"Do you by chance have any experience in it?"

"Er, well…" Cody slumped and sighed. "Not really but I'm sure my two friends do." Well, that's an if.

"Bah! If you plan to buy it, you need to be the one to make it. Whats the point of buying yourself if you pawn it off of others?" The owner said, displeased to hear his response.

"Figures…"

This was going to take a while in regards to supplies.

XXX

"Cody! Over here!" Shera waved as the two girls saw the boy and waved him over to them.

"Found what you needed?" Rem questioned him lightly.

"Mhm, even got a few extra things due to the shop owners. They were all really kind and considerate." Cody smiled, gesturing to his new backpack with items inside.

"Then let's go~!" Shera cheered in delight as the trio marched out of the gates to the town and towards their job.

Cody pulled up the description of the job once more, as he requested to know about the ex-adventurer that joined the bandits. As he read, the young rider saw that at first the enemy was known as Derian Villard, a warrior class adventurer who was highly respected to the guild.

But seemed one day with odd jobs would pop up and he would take care of it swiftly only for another one to appear. It was a strange occurrences where the enemies Derian would face would appear not even after a week.

The guild investigated and found out not only was he fabricating jobs to earn money, but the enemies he fought were allies of him and were doing this not only to take whatever money and food they found to make the job liable, but he'd only pretend to capture them before releasing them the next moment to do it all over again.

He was scamming the guild for profit and cause havoc to whatever person, village or mine they'd find and "request" their payment to stop it. They'd then take whatever they wanted and left the people broke and unable to recover, or they'd just kill and take whatever they wanted, woman included.

Once found out, he was exiled from Faltra City and placed a bounty on him, but seemed because of his work on the Guild, he had enough information to know his enemies coming for his bounty and either persuade them to give up or kill them.

"Sounds like scum to me…" Cody commented with a frown as he pocketed the information.

"Indeed. He even has a distaste for my kind and loves to torture women for his sick kicks." Rem nodded with disgust as she heard about this ex-adventurer and what he has done.

"Meanies like this guy will pay for what they did!" Shera huffed out, as she too was angered by the information about Derian.

"Well, then we'll just have to make sure he pays for all of this. He may have fought many others in the past, but he won't expect all of us, will he?" Cody smirked, giving the girls some morale as they all cheered in unison.

In the back of his mind, Cody knew one thing. Keeping any secret about his new power today won't be possible. But he'll deal with the aftermath and questioning later as the job is more important right now than worrying about such a thing. He'll have to hold back so he doesn't kill the target, hopefully it won't be too big of a deal, right?

XXX

Within the cave near the border that the bandits were using, each one was either on patrol or having some fun for a bit. Each one seemingly just wanted to pillage and remain free. And with the help of the ex-adventurer that joined them, things were getting easier.

"Heh, this truly was the better option." The Ex-Adventurer smirked, downing a freshly opened wine bottle and began to drink it heartily.

"You said it boss!" One of the bandits agreed.

Not a single soul could mess with them as they were able to do whatever they wanted.

"If that's the case, then maybe you could use some assistance for another set of adventurers who plan to take your bounty?" A voice called out. It brought everyone's attention to a cloaked man walking in.

"I don't know who you are, but you best explain before I cut you down…" The Ex-Adventurer stated, as he placed his hand on his blade.

The robed intruder raised his hands, placating the bandits. "I'm not here to bring harm, just to tell you of a warning."

"A warning? Of what?"

"Three adventurers are on their way to claim the bounty on your head."

Although the warning didn't seem to scare or intimidate the former adventurer. His grip on his weapon only tightened.

"And what makes these ones different from the ones I've killed before?"

"One of them claims to be a Lord who holds untold magic." The 'guest' revealed. "Furthermore he has a trinket made from is to be gold, granting him golden armor."

"Golden armor you say?"

"Yes, that is correct! He is no pushover nor is he an idiot. Mayhap you can teach the brat a lesson and claim the golden armor he wields alongside magic trinkets that chant powers."

The ex-adventurer grinned, realizing a new power for him to wield would do some good for him and his group.

"What do they look like?"

XXX

"So… this is the hideout that reports have said the group of bandits use." Cody noted as the three of them were near the entrance to the cave. "And it's a simple miner cave…. How typical and boring and what was it? Ah right. Cliche. Could've at least placed some spikes or skulls around it to make it more interesting? Or guard dogs of sorts?"

Seriously, the sight was seen in practically most novels and fantasy games!

"Were you really expecting something else?" The blonde elf tilted her head.

"Honestly? Yeah, I was kinda excited to face a group of bandits. But now? I feel ripped off… How did they last this long again?" Cody questioned, looking at the other two.

"The leader is a former adventurer." Rem reminded the two with a sigh.

"Right… so they must've been really pathetic before he came along." Cody nodded, "Any info on the ex-adventurer? His weaponry, tactics, skills, magic?"

The Pantherian pondered, recollecting the information they were given. "From what I recall correctly, he is extremely skilled with his sword. Though given his former reputation, I say he hasn't lost much of it to be considered moderate. In other words-"

"He is a very tough, mean person!" Shera chimed

"Heh, right. Well then I may need to mull over the right combinations to use against him." Cody stated in anticipation.

In the back of his mind, he was already preparing the Ride Watches needed to use should he be the one to fight the ex-adventurer.

"Combinations? Just what else did you buy?" Rem questioned the boy.

"Oh you both will see. Can't ruin the surprise right now." He playfully winked.

"Wah! You're already getting me excited, Cody!" Shera said with delight. She wondered what he had to use. Maybe a cool magic spell or a weapon he discovered on his trips? There were so many assumptions!

"So, what's the plan?"

"We can't have them alert the others but at the same time if we enter the cave, there's a chance we can be ambushed." Rem advised as she reached into her own pouch and took out one of the gems Cody saw from before.

"Hm? Just what is that, exactly?" The blonde male asked, as while he could tell it summoned something, he still was new to these lands and their abilities.

"They allow me to perform my summons. As to which, I can show you now that this is the right opportunity for you to see it." Upon those words, she performed the summoning technique.

"Come forth, Shadow Snake!"

The summon was what was best described as a snake as announced but its body was black as the night, almost blending into the shadows.

"Wooah!" Cody gawked in awe, as now that he wasn't being used as an attack dummy, he could see it was much more different.

"This is Shadow Snake. I mostly summon him for stealth jobs or when I'm being lunged at. He's very resilient to poison, heat, and cold. As well as adept in camouflage and attacking from the shadows." Rem explained her summon as she pet it.

"I need to get a summon soon…" Shera said with a slight pout.

"Later. Shadow Snake? Go inside and do some recon. If there are any traps or surprises, take care of it." Rem ordered as the snake nodded before slithering away into the cave. "Now we just wait, and should he come back in one piece we can proceed."

"And should he not?"

Rem frowned, "Then this job will get tougher to deal with, especially since we were tasked to bring them in alive. So do your best not to kill anyone unless its your last option, you two."

"Roger!" Cody and Shera said in unison, saluting to the Pantherian.

XXX

It had taken a few minutes for the wait but it seemed to pay off as the shadow snake had returned to them. Circling around its master, the snake flickered in which Rem nodded, "It seems he is in the cave. Guess we can proceed with our plan."

"Wait, just him? Where's the rest of the bandits?" Cody questioned, as this felt too good to be true.

"He couldn't find a trace…." Rem responded, though even she knew this wasn't right.

"Let's proceed but be careful…" Cody requested as the two girls nodded.

The three of them entered the cave, following Shadow Snake's lead as they soon came out into a more larger area, as sitting there was the ex-adventurer, alone and seemed as if he was waiting for them.

"We're here to collect that bounty on you." Shera said, speaking up first.

"Hoo? An elf and Patherian? Much more interesting than I thought." The ex-adventurer said with interest.

'I really don't like the look in his eyes.' Cody's brows furrowed in disgust. Aside from the imposing figure the former adventurer had, Cody became defensive given the look the bandit sent to the two.

"If you don't want to be given to the authorities in a coma, you'll surrender right now." Rem ordered.

"Aren't you feisty? I think I'll keep you myself and let my men have the elf. Sorry boy, but you'll die here while your friends entertain us." The ex-adventurer stated with a lick of his lips.

From their peripheral vision, the three young Adventurers noticed the other bandits had made themselves known, forcing the trio to stand back to back. Shera gripped her bow tightly against herself while Rem held a few gems cautiously. Cody also looked nervous but there was a fragment of him that was… disappointed.

"Now… if you two girls don't want your friend to die as painful as possible. You'll surrender, and the boy? You give me that golden item I was told about."

This time, Cody turned. He quickly knew what this was about. Only he and Galluk knew about the driver, and with him here? It was obvious to know that the mage made this trap for them.

"And what will happen when I do give you it?" Cody questioned. "I rather not have my friends here become your toys."

"Is that so? Then it looks like the golden relic has to be pried from your corpse. Men!" The bandits brandished their weapons. "Let's teach them a lesson but do not hurt the girls, we need them unharmed!"

"Cody? Whatever is going on, you best tell us later!" Rem said, tossing to summon a tiger summon this time.

"R-Right!" The two definitely deserved answers to what occurred. And if he ever finds Galluk, he is going to teach that punk a lesson for causing this mess! He focused, laying out his hands as golden light appeared around his waist, revealing the golden buckle. However upon its appearance, the ground began to crack, seeping with crimson energy whereas a golden symbol appeared beneath him, ticking like a clock. A clock to doomsday.

"Henshin!" He called out, swiping his hands across the attachments on the belt.

SHUKUFUKU NO TOKI!

SAIKOU! SAIZEN! SAIDAI! SAKIYOU-OU!

OMA ZI-O

As the fire and rusted straps appeared, the girls alongside the other bandits stood in shock as the rusted golden armor formed before breaking out of the strapped sphere, as the red visor glowed softly.

"What… in the world…?" Rem got out in shock.

"Cody became some gold knight!" Shera shouted with surprise.

As for the ex-adventurer, he was grinning with delight upon seeing it. He could tell this was a powerful magic and armor, and it will do nicely once he gains it from his corpse.

When two of his men went to deliver an overhead strike at Oma Zi-O, everyone expected an easy kill but no, they didn't land a hit.

Or rather, they weren't moving at all, frozen in the air. Reason being a gold glow was visible in Oma Zi-O's lowered hand. He ominously glanced at the frozen bandits before he raised a finger and flicked, sending them out of the cave, literally.

"I have wanted to do that." Oma Zi-O hummed but his tone now held a sense of mockery to the two he just flicked out.

Everyone was left utterly dumbfounded by the sudden display.

"What are you men gawking at?! Kill him!"

Getting themselves out of their stupor, they obeyed and went for the armored blonde. While his back was turned, it didn't frighten the now almighty Demon Lord of Time. After all, he held the power over time and space! The power of all Heisei Riders. This… was just mere child's play in the eyes of Oma Zi-O.

With one charging in with a long blade, he waited before catching the blade with his fingers, snapping it in two before kicking the attack aside only to feel the metal of a mace shattered upon contact with his own armor as he turned to the shocked bandit before punching him into the wall of the mine.

Rem and Shera slowly lowered their respective weapons, their jaws slowly dropping in total disbelief to Cody's display of power.

To Rem, her instincts as a Pantherian was shivering, as if she was in face with something so powerful nothing could stand in his way. Time literally having no hold over him; instead he had his hold over time itself. Akin to a god. She steeled her footing, wanting a lot of answers and to rid the swelling fear that rose in the pit of her stomach.

Shera, though intimidated slightly, she was amazed to the power unleashed by their male friend. It felt like they were in the presence of a powerful king. Although she swore the back of her mind made an announcement to rejoice to the display and might of the golden knight.

"Let's put a hold on you guys." Cody said, holding up one of the watches as the face of Mach appeared, as he twisted the dial before clicking the button on it, activating its power.

MACH!

In his hand, the Zenrin Shooter appeared alongside one of the Signal Bikes. He placed it into the slot, before spinning the tire on the gun, initiating the bike's ability.

MAGARL! SHOOTER!

He soon launched a few blasts out of the barrel as it flew forward only to give a sharp turn to strike the bandits that attempted to pounce on the two girls, causing them to turn to the injured bandits before back to him.

"This is too easy." He looked at the ex-adventurer. "And you say, you and your man are the best? What I see are maggots waiting to be crushed."

The imposing man gritted his teeth. Did the cocky punk just call him a maggot?! A MAGGOT?! Screw killing the brat, he was going to break every bone in the punk's body and make him watch as he messes with the elf and pantherian!

"Then face me like a man, you cocky little punk!" The former adventurer. "None of your magic, just the blades in hand!"

Cody turned to the ex-adventurer, a slight grin under his helmet as he nodded and walked forward. He took up one of the bandits blades as he got into a stance, ready to duel the enemy. "Scared of losing?"

"Scared? No, I am going to enjoy breaking your bones and make you watch what will happen to those girls!" With his trustful sword, he lunged as he dragged the tip of the blade across the rocky floor before flicking the sparks at Oma Zi-O.

While it didn't blind Cody due to the visor, he raised the sword in hand to block the larger weapon. Their gazes met as the bastard tried to push the golden knight back but failed. He exerted more strength but it still didn't deter Cody!

Then the cocky knight yawned. He yawned out of boredom. "Is this it? Weren't you once one of the best adventurers there was?"

"Grr! Don't you get cocky! After all… I still have surprises." The ex-adventurer said, as his blade glowed before spawning another one in hand as he used it and slashed at Cody's neck. But the moment it came into contact, it didn't even budge against the suit underneath the armor.

All it did… was shatter into pieces.

"Woah! The sword broke like glass!" Shers commented in awe.

"Just how strong is he…?" Rem said in complete shock.

"I thought this was just meant to be a sword fight between men? Figures you'd be the one to break that code." Cody sighed.

"Th-This is impossible! Just who the hell are you?!"

Oma Zi-O chuckled almost darkly and spread his arms slightly. "I'm the Demon King of Time, Oma Zi-O! One who rules over time and space!" His thunderous voice held so much pride upon the proclamation.

And damn did it feel good to say it with such pride! Now he knew how Woz felt in the series.

"Demon King…?"

"Of time?"

The ex-adventurer could only shiver in response, as he soon dropped his sword before dropping to his knees. He quickly bowed his head, face near the ground as well as the other bandits who were still kicking around.

"WE SURRENDER!" They all shouted in unison and terror.

The golden knight soon turned to the girls, who flinched in response as he dispelled the armor before smiling at them.

"Looks like we won!" He said with a chuckle of delight.

Back within the capital, many people, including other adventurer's were in complete shock as they see the new group coming back with the high class ex-adventurer alongside the bandits he acquired recently all in restraints. Each of the bandit either slightly injured or defeated as they were handed over to the authorities.

"Well I'll be." The Guild Master hummed. While she knew that this was a tough job and had some worry, guess Sylvie didn't have to worry too much as all three of them came back in one piece. This'll not only bring more difficult jobs to the guild and bring more money, but also some reputation.

"We're back, Sylvie. Job completed." Cody said with a bright smile.

"Color me impressed! I thought it would take more than a day for you three to get it done. Kinda had me worried there."

"Heh, sorry. We were a bit distracted the moment we got there." Rem sniffed while Shera giggled. If he meant by distraction, it was being distracted by seeing their friend practically one-shotting all the bandits. "But someone tipped the bandits off about us before we got there."

"Hm?" Sylvie's brow raised with surprise. She knew one thing about the guild she ran, nobody would snitch out another adventurer, even if they had a grudge. "I see… I'll look into it and get back to you."

"Appreciated, Sylvie." Cody nodded as the guild master soon handed them their reward, as it was more than enough for them to relax for a long while.

"Yes! We did it!" Shera hopped in excitement. Rem sent a glare at her or rather at the certain mid-level of Shera while Cody looked elsewhere.

"So… Who's up for a good meal? My treat?" Cody offered with the jingle of their new money.

"Food sounds good." Rem smiled.

"Meat! I want Meat~!" Shera chimed up in delight.

The Pantherian rolled her eyes. "Of course you would… for obvious reasons…"

"Hm? What do you mean?" Shera asked, confused from that statement.

"It's nothing.. Come on, we still have someone who needs to explain himself." The young Patherian said, glancing upon Cody who nodded in response.

"Ehehehe…" It was definitely going to be a very long explanation. But he had the time as the group went to the food hall of the guild, each of them having their plates of food, though Shera only having meat on her plate.

"So… mind telling us what on earth you did in the cave?"

"Well, it's even hard for me to say." Cody crossed his arms.

"Hard for you to say? Oh please enlighten us. You froze two bandits in time, shattered the ground upon your… transformation, and your armor was durable to the point it shattered a sword!"

"Well, to be honest, I don't even know how this power actually came to be. I only know of it from where I was from. But it was fictional, just a story." Cody got out, as he was telling the truth. He didn't know how this power even came to be upon coming here, only that it did.

"Then tell us what is it?" Rem chimed in, as they did need to know at least that.

"Er well… there was a… tale regarding the one who used it. The Demon King of Time Oma Zi-O."

"Oma… Zi-O?"

The male blonde nodded, "The power he obtained appeared under the Star of Kings, revealing such unimaginable power that became so powerful people feared him. Nothing and I mean nothing could stop him as time was in his grasp. So powerful he could erase your existence from history with the snap of his finger."

The girls gulped a bit, slightly scared from hearing this tale that the male blonde was explaining.

"But time wasn't the only power he possessed. He was able to obtain literally 20 years of power from other heroes, villains and more under his reign."

"Y-You mean he stole their powers?!"

"Well… yes. And upon doing so, he inherited it into his own, forging the nifty round devices. Like the one you saw me use of Mach." He continued. "He… nearly destroyed the world just by his existence."

"Then… was he defeated?"

Cody shook his head, "He truly couldn't be defeated. So a few people went back in time to kill him before he could even get that power."

"EH?!" The girls stood up from their seats.

"P-People used magic to travel to the past?!"

"Er, well, yes. In a sense" He raised his hands slightly. "But in the past the Demon Lord was just a young man who only dreamed of being a king. A dream people mocked him for. A dream that was just a fantasy in their eyes. Stupid even."

"So he wasn't evil to begin with."

"Pretty much. He never was, only alone. Thats what made him into Oma Zi-O, loneliness."

"That's so sad…" Shera said with a saddened gaze.

"Indeed… But they fought. And as they did, both the young Oma Zi-O and his attackers became something neither of them realized. Friends. And when he lost those friends? He used the same power his older self possessed, and rewrote all of time and reality, just to make sure they can live together."

"As Oma Zi-O…"

"That's right. And only he remembers while everyone else… forgot what happened to them."

"Then… how did you get it?" Rem asked the true question.

"I told you, I don't know. Really, I was shocked as you were to this." He admitted. "The only thing I can think of, is that whatever truly brought me here and revived me, gave me this power. That's the only logical answer I can think of."

Rem pressed a few fingers against her forehead while Shera was sad to the tale of the boy who dreamt of being a king finding loneliness but also friends.

"This… is a lot to take in…" Rem sighed out.

"Tell me about it… But rest assured, even though I gave those claims. I don't plan to actually be like Oma Zi-O and be a demon king." Cody reassured them.

"Though you did announce yourself as the Demon Lord of Time."

"As intimidation. If I just said I was some guy with magical armor and power, they'd think it'd not only be easy to beat me, but obtain it as well. So if I announce myself as that, they won't even try to attack us again or spread the word about it."

"… Fair point."

The otherworlder leaned against his chair, brushing his hair with his hand. He wasn't sure what to do regarding the power he has. It was, well, let's face it, insanely strong. He could freeze time on people, possibly erase their existence in history, and harness the power of every single Kamen Rider.

Yet he also knows their dangers too. He knew what could happen should he decide to give into such temptations. After all, with great power comes great responsibility. And right now, his responsibility is to live freely with Rem and Shera as adventurers in the world he was in.

He won't let such negative emotions cloud his mind.

"Well, if that is how it is, I guess we'll have to bear with it." Rem nodded.

"Yeah! We're friends after all! We'll be fine as long as we're together!" Shera said cheerfully.

Cody smiled softly as he nodded, "Then let's make this the best we can, and keep going on as adventurers!" He proclaimed, raising his glass.

"YEAH!" The three beverages clinked with one another, igniting their vow for more adventures. This was the beginning for them all, and it'll be worth it for them as this new life for each of them will now truly begin here.

A/N: Hello minna! So yeah, I'm back again. Very sorry once more on this random hiatus. Sides the usual personal life stuff, the past few years we all know, so far has been really bad for everyone. Suffice to say, it's also taking a lot out of me due to it and many other things that have changed. I will keep trying to hang in there and write more, but sides time, it will be hard to regain anything to write more, but I'll do my best.

For those who may wanna know? Long story short, I quit my job as of April 2021. Reason being was due to my job treating me very poorly upon receiving a serious injury. I am healed now, but I no longer work there and have been taking care of myself both physically and mentally to recover. And as of now I'm honestly happier than I have been in years!

Of course this'll still have some problems with me continuing stories due to getting older and such and focusing on other things, but I shall truly try my best. I'm more surprised with how many of you really liked this story! I'm happy that you like it all that much and will try my best to keep this updated along with others.

Anywho, yes, new chap for this story, which nows seems to be another very highly anticipated story, which I'm glad many of you are liking. Though, updates for this do depend not only on my mood, but also if I need to update it just yet. You see… dunno if you all know, so I'm just assuming here.

I was going to try to update this during Season 2's release, but as said before on how things went back in 2021? I couldn't get it done in time.

I know some are wondering why I don't just look up or get the LN or even the manga, and well… Mostly because I don't really have any way to get them physically. The "closest" store that sells them is about a 4/5 hour drive from my place/area. And thats way too long to simply get a LN or manga that may or may not even be at the store, or even if it is, who's to say it isn't like only one volume of it?

And I don't have the money to do online shopping or reading it online, 'legally'. And I rather get them legally and in my actual hands than simply view it on some site that may not help those creators out there. So, truthfully, anime is my only true way to get this stuff anymore.

Regardless, this is continuing, but it will be MUCH more slower… and if things work out, (as lazy as I can be with it), I may be able to get enough out to satisfy you all until Season 3 gets announced? :P

Anywho, sides notes on this story finally, while there will be those main plot points in this story, I'm going to be spreading and padding them out a bit father, not only to work on how this story can progress, but also not to make it too fast like the anime was where I'm sure they skipped a lot of content from the manga and LN. So, this is my way to work around that.

Also, no, I don't have any plans in adding in any extra rider characters that aren't simply being summoned by Oma Zi-O. So, no Woz or Another Riders…. At least for now. It could change, but for right now, I have no plans for them.

I also plan to have Oma Zi-O use more Ride Watches then just the Heisei era. As shown by the Over Quarterz movie, the Rider Time Specials, as well as past it? He gets lots more Watches. So I'll def include all of Showa and the Amazon reboot including the Black Sun reboot too. I'll even be adding in Reiwa since it was stated that he does have the powers of riders after him for several years.

I even will allow him to use the Ryuusoulger Watch, since that was made and even a Ultraman Watch, just cause. Tho only Taiga since while R/B was the Ultra series in that year, Zi-O came on during the fall of 2018, thus making Taiga the better option to use. But everything that isn't Heisei or stuff that came up after Heisei won't be used just yet. At least not until we get to the chalice cup part of course.

And yes, I and still working on the other stories you all wanna see. Sides my mood, I also need to try and regain some amusement on writing those instead of writers block or boredom. Cause, I don't wanna just be bored and delete them after all my hard work, so trying to gain something from it to help me continue is the only solution I got right now. So yes, it will also be slow, but as along as I don't feel the need to delete it? It will continue and remain, just unsure how long that will be.

I apologize as well for making you all wait on everything for so long… But I also really appreciate you guys sticking through and being patient with me. I hope this can continue for us all. ^^

Until then, later minna!
