10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Countdown is over, so let's get this chapter on the go!

It was a nice morning in the City Saints Academy where people are seen doing their usual morning routines as if the events that happened during their sleep never occurred at all.

The focus is then shifted to the Corona House and inside one hallway of the seventh floor, Tenma Daytona Romeoford is seen making his way towards the room where Eddy Skipper McGee is residing.

Upon arriving at the door to his friend's room, Tenma is surprised to see a sign hung up on the door with the words 'Do Not Disturb Or Else' written on it.

Rolling his eyes in disbelief, Tenma tried to knock on the door but only for his hand to bounce back for some reason, "What the?!" he squawked in shock, he tried to knock on the door once more and once again his hand bounced back as if there was an invisible force preventing him from doing such actions, "What the fuck is going on?!" he exclaimed in confusion, he then tried to kick the door but that also resulted of his left foot bouncing back, "You got to be shittin' me!" he complained, "Eddy! Eddy!" he called out, "Eddy, did you casted some spell on the door?!" he inquired, "Answer me, goddammit!" he demanded.

"Tenma, what's wrong?" a voice asked.

Tenma then turns around to see Kirie Kojima, Miharu Sena Kanaka and a young man named Souseke Sagara walking towards him.

"You seem awfully moody this early in the morning." Kirie pointed out.

Tenma sighed, "Sorry about that." he apologized, "Double D asked me to wake up Eddy but looks like he made some measures that prevents me from doing so." he shared.

"What do you mean?" Miharu asked.

"Eddy casted some sort of spell which prevented me from knocking on his door." Tenma explained, "I tried kicking the door as well but the results is the same." he added.

"I see..." Souseke uttered, "That is troublesome." he acknowledged before pulling out a shaft hand grenade, "Shall I blow up his door for you?" he offered.

Kirie then smacked him at the back of the head, "Stop!" she yelled out loud, "What the hell do you think you're doing bringing out that thing?!" she demanded in disbelief.

"Because blowing up the door is more efficient and productive." Souseke reasoned while rubbing the back of his head.

"No, it's not!" Kirie argued.

"Souseke-san, Shizuka-san will get mad at you if you blew up the door." Miharu pointed out, "And you know how scary she is when she is mad." she reminded.

Sousuke then immediately puts away the dangerous item, "Good point." he uttered in acknowledgement.

"Still..." Miharu uttered, "... I wonder why Eddy-san is still sleeping and had to set up measures like this." she thought out loud.

"He probably stayed up all night." Kirie replied, "And I'm pretty sure that he has been watching some perverted stuffs." she assumed in disgust.

"That I can't deny." Tenma replied in agreement, "Anyway..." he uttered, "... Eddy needs to wake up whether he likes or not!" he declared, "Eddy had used his magic to keep me from waking him up, then I'll just use my own magic to wake him up!" he revealed before pulling out a red & blue-colored wand, he then closed his eyes and began to utter a spell, "Zara-zara-urah-rah..." he trailed when all of a sudden, the door of Eddy's room began to glow before firing a small red-colored beam towards Tenma and hits him on the chest which zapped him on the process, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" he screamed in pain while lighting up like a Christmas Tree before comically exploding into smoke.

Kirie, Miharu and Souseke then watches Tenma gets flung out into an open window before hearing a loud and hard thud from outside. Kirie, Miharu and Souseke then looks outside and saw Tenma lying down on the pavement in a stock 'Family Guy' death pose while being poked with sticks by Hanayo Koizumi, Maki Nishikino and Rin Hoshizora.

"I think it's better that Eddy should be left alone for now." Kirie beckoned.

"Y-Yeah." Miharu uttered in agreement.

"That was an assault." Souseke pointed out, "Shall I retaliate?" he requested.

"NO!" Kirie and Miharu screamed in response.

Meanwhile on the first floor of the Corona House, the large dining area is currently filled with tenants and all of them are having breakfast while having a conversation at the same time.

Lined up towards the food counter, two boys named Youhei Sunohara & Tomoya Okazaki and a girl named Nagisa Furukawa are being served their breakfast by Granny Smith.

At one table, Kevin Dorscherr is having a serious discussion with three boys named Kenji Harima, Leon Kuwata and Mondo Oowada while at another table, Nazz Van Bartonschmeer is seen having a lively conversation with Koyume Koizuka and another girl named Ran Kotobuki.

In another table right next to Nazz's group, Jimmy Tweetums and Sarah Hall are having a lively conversation with Abby Hatcher, Dora Marquez and Diego Marquez while Jonny 2x4 and Plank sat alone in one table with no one to talk to but themselves.

Other people present in the dining area are Lee Kanker, Marie Kanker, May Kanker, Honoka Kousaka, Kotori Minami, Umi Sonoda, Eli Ayase, Nozomi Toujou, Nico Yazawa, Hidenori Tabata, Irino Tadakuni, Yoshitake Tanaka, Hatano Mitsuo, Kuroshima Motoharu, Chapatsu Haisha, Megane Kurokami, Addison Wells, Kyouko Yamate, Kousaku Hata, Yuugo Hachiken, Dan Mandel, Chris Pearson, Cody Emmett Jameson Anderson, Edd Gould, Matt Hargreaves, Tom Ridgewell, Azumi "Galko" Waki and Yui Yuigahama.

And at one specific table, Eddward "Edd & Double D" Marion Vicente, Edwin "Ed" Horace Hall, Rolf Von Olsson, Sally Bollywood and Doowee McAdam are seen eating their breakfast while having a conversation at the same time.

Doowee is looking at his tablet while reading an article posted on the CoolStarGram site, "Woah..." he uttered in surprise, "... the patrol last night went a little crazy." he reported.

"What happened?" Double D inquired.

"CrownCore had been swarmed by a large number of Forsaken Entities." Doowee shared, "Fortunately, everyone managed to eliminate every shadow creatures before things could get out of hand." he stated in reassurance, "Only one person is wounded though." he added.

"Really? Who?" Sally asked.

Doowee facefaulted, "It's Eric Cartman." he answered.

Sally sighed in response, "What did he do this time that got himself wounded?" she questioned in disbelief.

"Apparently, Cartman got too full of himself and declared that he can defeat every Forsaken Entities by himself." Doowee explained, "It went well as you expected." he uttered sarcastically.

"Cartman is by no means weak..." Sally admitted, "... but he should know better not to fight swarms of shadow creatures by himself." she stated.

"Sadly, Cartman never seems to realize that." Doowee grumbled.

"As much as I abhor speaking out ill-mannered remarks..." Double D uttered, "... but after how he treated Miss Sonoda and Miss Kousaka yesterday, Cartman's fate last night is pretty much deserved." he admitted.

Rolf nodded, "Rolf shares the same sentiment." he said in agreement, "Overweight Eric-boy had crossed the line so many times the day of yesterday and the son of shepherd feels no remorse to his current predicament." he stated.

"Cartman, bad!" Ed exclaimed with a serious expression.

"How long Cartman will be out of commission?" Sally inquired.

"Unless people refuse to heal him up using magic or advance medical procedures, Cartman will be out of several weeks." Doowee answered.

"I see." Sally uttered in acknowledgement before turning to the boys, "By the way..." she trailed, "... since Eddy had joined the Gallery of Champions." she pointed out, "Have you guys thought of joining as well?" she inquired.

"Well..." Double D uttered, "... with the exception of Eddy and Jimmy, my fellow gentlemen and I had discussion after dinner where we decided to join the Gallery of Champions." he explained.

"Really?" Doowee asked in surprise.

Double D nodded in confirmation, "While the purpose of our arrival here is to attend school..." he trailed, "And find Tenma's origins at the same time..." he added, "... we realized that despite only being here in this city for three days, I daresay that we enjoy living here so far and upon the discovery that there are threats outside the walls of this city, we decided that we should at least step up and help this place from of any harm." he explained.

Sally smiled, "I see." she uttered in acknowledgement, "We really appreciate your desires in protecting this city." she expressed.

"That..." Double D uttered, "... and the fact that we can't leave Eddy alone, so we decided to join." he admitted with a blank look.

Sally giggled, "Is that so?" she uttered in amusement.

"That said though..." Double D trailed, "... we have yet to submit our forms to join the Gallery of Champions." he shared, "But we plan on doing so some time next week as we want to take things easy for now while getting ourselves ready for that." he explained.

Doowee nodded in understanding, "That's understandable." he replied.

"This is gonna be so cool!" Ed expressed in glee, "I can finally become a hero like the characters that I read in my favorite comics!" he exclaimed.

"Rolf is excited as well." Rolf shared in agreement, "Not to brag but the vile creatures of the night are no match for the son of shepherd!" he declared with a proud expression.

"I can see both Ed and Rolf becoming great fighters." Doowee commented, "But what about you, Double D?" he inquired.

"Fighting is not on my forte but I do plan of becoming part of the support team." Double D answered.

"Really? That makes the two of us." Doowee revealed in glee.

Double D smiled, "Is that so?" he uttered, "Then I look forward with working with you." he expressed.

"Likewise." Doowee replied in agreement, "But lemme remind you though that even we are part of the support team, we're still taking part of the patrols, so I hope you don't mind walking around the streets despite the dangers." he reminded.

"Oh, dear..." Double D uttered in concern.

"Pardon us?" a voice interrupted.

Doowee, Double D, Ed, Rolf and Sally turns around to see Azusa Nakano, Mio Akiyama, Ritsu Tainaka, Tsumugi Kotobuki and Yui Hirasawa standing next to their table with trays of breakfast in hands.

"Do you mind if we share a table with you guys?" Mio requested.

Sally nodded, "Sure." she beckoned, "This table is pretty spacious to begin with." she pointed out.

Appreciating their gesture, the girls took their seats and began to eat their breakfast when Double D noticed that Ritsu had bags under her eyes.

"Miss Tainaka..." Double D called out, "... if you don't mind me asking but have you gotten a good sleep last night?" he questioned.

Ritsu turns to the sock-wearing boy with an annoyed expression, "No." she answered rather bluntly, "I've been kept nearly all night after learning about those damn shadow creatures that roams the streets while people sleep." she explained.

"Really?" Yui squawked in surprise, "But I slept well last night." she shared.

"Me, too." Tsumugi said in agreement.

"Lucky you." Ritsu grumbled before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Look..." Doowee uttered, "... I understand that you are weary that the creatures might attack you in your sleep..." she acknowledged, "... but rest assure that everything is under control." he reassured, "Aside from the people patrolling the streets, each buildings are protected by a powerful barrier which prevents any shadow creatures from breaking in." he revealed.

"That ain't easing my paranoia even a bit." Ritsu argued.

"Ritsu, I'm afraid as well." Mio admitted, "But I can see that the people here know what they're doing, so we should at least place our faith in them." she stated.

"Easier said than done." Ritsu replied.

"Maybe you should take some sleeping pills tonight." Azusa suggested.

Ritsu thought about it, "Might as well." she conceded.

Mio sighed before turning to the rest, "So, what are you guys gonna do today?" she inquired.

"The boys and I will be roaming around the city for our mutual interests." Double D answered, "I've been meaning to visit the Science Community as I'm really curious about their contributions to the subject." he explained.

"Rolf will be visiting the Agriculture Society." Rolf shared, "The son of shepherd plans to bestow the old country's farming culture to the rest." he stated.

"And I plan on checking the comic book shops and video games stores." Ed exclaimed in excitement.

"Doowee and I will be partaking on today's training sessions." Sally shared, "But that will be after lunch, so Doowee and I had time to waste before then." she pointed out.

"Speaking of which..." Doowee uttered, "... this is the first day that Eddy will be partaking today's training." he reminded, "Where is he, by the way?" he asked.

"I asked Tenma to wake him up." Double D answered before looking around with a raised eyebrow, "I'm pretty sure that they'd be here by now but it seems like they're taking their time." he stated.

"Maybe they got into another trouble." Ed said.

"Dear lord, I hope not." Double D grumbled.

"By the way..." Azusa uttered, "... Sunset-san mentioned that this school gets new students everyday." she recalled, "Does that means we'll be getting new students today, too?" she questioned.

Sally nodded, "Indeed." she confirmed, "Everyday we get new students in this school and one person will be assigned to guide them around on their first day." she explained before crossing her arms, "If I remember correctly, today's guide is..." she trailed before turning to her best friend, "Who is the assigned guide for today, Doowee?" she inquired.

Doowee took a sip from a box of juice before answering, "I think it's Yui." he answered.

"Eh?" Yui uttered while turning to him in confusion.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean you, Miss Hirasawa." Doowee apologized, "I'm talking about Yui Yuigahama." he clarified.

"OH NO!" a voice cried out in panic.

Everyone then turns around to see Yui Y. standing up from one table she shared with Galko, she is sweating nervously and is shaking at the same time.

"I forgot that I'm assigned to guide the new students today!" Yui Y. cried out while grabbing a box of juice, "I'm heading off!" she exclaimed before running out of the cafeteria.

"Please take care." Galko expressed.

Back to the table where Double D and the others are sitting, they look at each other in utter concern and confusion with the exception of Ed whom is jolly as ever and Ritsu whom is still reeling in paranoia.

"I'm kinda worried about the new students." Mio admitted.

"That Yuigahama-san seems like a responsible girl." Tsumugi commented, "So, I think they'll be okay." she reassured.

"I hope so." Azusa uttered in response.

Tomoya Okazaki - Tomoya is a teenage boy with an average height and a fair complexion, he had a short dark-blue hair and he had dark blue-colored eyes. He wears a yellow jacket uniform over a white dress shirt and red necktie, blue trousers and brown shoes.

Nagisa Furukawa - Nagisa is a teenage girl with an average height and a fair complexion, she had a short wavy auburn hair that reaches a little below her shoulders with two prominent ahoge sticking out on top of her head and she had amber-colored eyes. She wears a yellow jacket uniform with a white collar over a blue turtleneck shirt, dark-blue miniskirt, white socks and brown loafers.

Youhei Sunohara - Youhei is a teenage boy with an average height and a fair complexion, he had a short dyed-blonde hair and he had dark-blue purple-colored eyes. He wears a yellow jacket uniform over a white dress shirt and red necktie, blue trousers and brown shoes.

School Rumble

Kenji Harima - Kenji is a young man with a tall stature and muscular build, he had a neck-length black hair with a red headband on top and his eyes are covered with sunglasses. He wears a black open-uniform jacket over a red shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Danganronpa

Leon Kuwata - Leon is a young man with a slender build and a fair complexion, he had a dyed orange spiky hair and a goatee, and he had pale blue-colored eyes. He wears a white blazer jacket with a popped collar over a white shirt with a red grunge skull design, he wears dark blue jeans and white platform shoes with a black sole. He is accessorized with a padlocked chain necklace, two overlapping studded belts, rings, and an oversized safety pin on his lapel. He has several piercings on his labret, his tongue, and six in his right ear.

Mondo Oowada - Mondo is a young man with a tall stature and a muscular frame, he wears his hair as a dark-brown punch perm with a styled-1960s pompadour and he had a deep-ridged black eye line circling his purple eyes. He wears a high-collared black long overcoat adorned with the symbol of The Crazy Diamonds along with kanji and dragon symbol motifs colored orange on the back and side over a white t-shirt. He wears baggy black pants held up by a belt and he wears a pair of white loafers.

Gals!

Ran Kotobuki - Ran is a teenage girl with a tall stature and slender frame, she has a messy-permed orange hair with red streaks and she had brown-colored eyes. She wears a blue long-sleeved buttoned cardigan over a white-collared shirt, she wears a pleated skirt with a green and White plaid design, white loose socks and brown shoes. Her hair is also adorned with various colorful hairpins.
