A/N: Ten! Ten! Ten! Hello there! This is tendaysromeo and welcome to the 28th chapter of DreamTheater Intermix: The World Within! Nothing much to say, so let's start this chapter!
10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Countdown is over, so let's get this chapter on the go!

"Finally, finally!" a male voice cried out in joy, "After all the mishaps I've suffered this morning..." he trailed, "... I'm finally here!" he declared.
At a 20-floored convention-esque black building which is the main building of the Magic Research Society, Rin Toosaka and Tenma Daytona Romeoford are seen standing in front of a large glass door with the latter expressing joy and relief.
Tenma then got down on his knees, "I think the tides are changing for my fortune!" he cheered before kissing the pavement, "Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!" he moaned out loud in every kiss.
Rin cringed at the sight, "Oooookay?" she uttered out loud in disbelief.
While Tenma kept on kissing the ground and Rin watching him in utter disgust, Laurent alongside a young man named Glenn Radars and a young boy named Negi Springfield are seen making their way towards the door when they took notice of the pavement-kissing normie, much to their surprise and confusion.
Rin groaned loudly, "Yes." she confirmed, "What you're looking at right now is a pathetic mage-in-training with a shallow sense of joy that they'll kiss the pavement because of it!" she stated in annoyance.
Laurent, Glenn and Negi looks at each other with unsure expressions before shrugging their shoulders, they then proceeds to walk towards the door while keeping their attentions to the pavement-kissing normie until they got inside.
"Romeo!" Rin shouted, "Would you please stop kissing the ground?!" she demanded, "This is getting absurd and you're embarrassing yourself!" she admonished.
Tenma was about to kiss the ground for the 64th time but stopped upon hearing her demand, he then quickly stood up and dusted himself, "Sorry about that." he apologized, "But I'm just overwhelmed in joy that I'm finally here!" he reasoned with a big smile, "And after all of the misfortunes that I've suffered so far, I can finally resume my day without any problems!" he declared.
"Look..." Rin trailed, "... just because you came here unharmed that doesn't mean your misfortunes are over." she pointed out.
Tenma snorted, "What do you know?" he mocked.
Rin crossed her arms, "Don't believe me?" she questioned, "Turn around now." she beckoned.
Tenma raised an eyebrow but decided to humor her by turning around and by doing so, he noticed something falling from the sky and it's coming in pretty fast towards him.
And that something is a young girl named Rosemary!
"Out of the way!" Rosemary pleaded, "Out of the way!" she repeated.
Tenma facefaulted, "UGH!" he groaned loudly in annoyance, "Why is my life filled with so much misery?!" he exclaimed.
And before Tenma could do anything, Rosemary collided with him and both of her knees smashed onto his face with a loud crunch! The scene then shifted to Rin watching the current mishap with an unconcerned expression, complete with a raised eyebrow and pursed lips, she then heard a loud crashing noise off-screen.
Rin shook her head, "Told ya." she said in amusement.
Tenma laid down on the ground unconscious... again! While Rosemary laid next to him before slowly getting up and rubbing her back, "Ugh!" the pinkhead groaned, "That hurts!" she squawked before taking notice of the unconscious normie next to her, "Yipes!" she shrieked in panic, "I think I killed him!" she exclaimed.
Rin walked towards her, "Relax, Rose." she reassured before offering the girl on the ground a hand, the pinkette then accepted it and is quickly pulled up, "You just accidentally knocked him out." the raven-haired girl pointed out, "What the hell are you doin' anyway and you suddenly fell from the sky?" she questioned with a raised eyebrow.
Rosemary dusted her skirt, "Sorry about that." she apologized before rubbing the back of her head, "I was in a hurry and thought it was a good idea to have someone launch me into the air, so I can get here quick." she explained before sighing, "I forgot to take account for a safe landing." she admitted in shame.
"Well, you came out fine, so I guess you can chalk it up as a good experience." Rin reassured, "The only one hurt in this mishap is that unconscious mongrel on the ground." she pointed out while referring to Tenma, "Then again..." she trailed, "... he kinda deserves it." she admitted.
"What?" Rosemary uttered in surprise, "Why?" she asked, "What did he do?" she added.
Rin shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, "Let's just say that he got too full of himself of thinking that his string of misfortunes is gonna end up any time soon." she explained.
Rosemary raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Okay..." she drawled before jabbing a thumb at the door, "I'm gonna head inside now and meet up with the others." she shared, "Are you gonna be okay with this guy?" she asked.
Rin waves a single hand forward and ushering her to go, "Yeah, sure, I'll be fine here." she reassured.
Rosemary nodded before making her way inside the building, Rin then stares at the unconscious Tenma for a few minutes when she noticed a young boy named Brian Bartholomy about to enter the front door.
"Brian!" Rin called out.
Brian then turns his attention to her, "Yes?" he replied.
Rin pointed a finger at the unconscious Tenma on the ground, "Help me carry this piece of garbage to the infirmary." she requested and upon taking notice of the unconscious normie, Brian recoiled in shock.
"Ugh..." an annoyed voice of male groaned loudly, "... what the fuck happened to me?" he questioned.
Opening his black orbs, Tenma scanned his surroundings with his eyes and upon recognizing the ceiling, he realized that he is currently inside an infirmary.
"Oh, you're finally awake, ya oaf." a female voice uttered out loud.
Turning his head to the right, Tenma saw Rin sitting on a chair right next to his bed, crossed arms and crossed legs at the same time.
"Getting knocked out unconscious for the second time of the day?" Rin uttered with a grin, "How pathethic can you get?" she questioned in amusement.
Rolling his eyes in sheer annoyance, Tenma slowly sat up with a right hand rubbing his forehead and after shaking his head a little bit, he turns his attention back to Rin, "What hit me anyway?' he questioned.
"Rosemary, a friend of mine, came down from above after she had someone launched her from a distance, and admittedly, she forgot to think about a landing strategy and ended up kneeing you hard on the face." Rin explained, "And it was so hard..." she trailed, "... I heard a crack." she added with a grin.
"I think it broke my nose from that." Tenma assumed while rubbing the aforementioned body part.
"You're right about that." Rin confirmed, "But don't worry, I already had a healer patch up your busted nose." she reassured, "Anyways..." she trailed, "... since you're finally up, I say that we head out, so I can finally show you around." she beckoned.
Tenma nodded, "Yeah." he obliged, "And I'll keep my enthusiasm minimal this time around because who knows when the Gods of misfortune will play tricks on me again." he stated in annoyance.
Rin grinned rather teasingly, "Look at you learning." she mused.
"Wow, shut up!" Tenma hushed.
A few minutes later and after Tenma got himself back together, and alongside Rin, are seen walking through a hallway that had a mixed design of medieval and modern aesthetics.
"As stated before..." Rin trailed, "... the Magic Research Society deals with a lot of knowledge that involved different kinds of magic." she shared, "Such as sorcery, magecraft, witchcraft and many more." she listed off before stopping in front of an open door which leads to a room, "That also includes stage magic." she added.
Rin and Tenma then proceeds to look inside with the latter noticing a lot of items used by stage magicians, he then took notice of a makeshift stage where a teenage girl named Trixie Lulamoon and a young boy named Lincoln Loud are seen practicing their crafts.
Trixie held up a hat, waves it up and down before tapping two fingers on the edge, she then dug her left hand in it before pulling out a puppy, "Voila!" she presented with a smile, "Now you try, Lincoln." she beckoned before setting the puppy down on the floor.
Lincoln took a deep breath, "Okay." he complied while holding up a hat, waving it up and down before two fingers on the edge, he then dug her left hand in it before pulling out something, "Aha!" he cheered before his face morphed into a semi-mummified expression.
What Lincoln pulled out is an anthropomorphic hare named Bugs Bunny.
Bugs then nibbled a carrot before speaking, "Eh, what's up, doc?" he asked with an uncaring yet amused expression.
Lincoln quickly shoves Bugs back inside the hat while chuckling nervously, "Thought I can pull out a bunny but I got a hare instead." he joked.
"KYAAAAAAAHHH!"
Both Lincoln and Trixie flinched in surprise when they heard a loud shriek, they slowly turns around to see a teenage girl named Tejina Mahouzawa sitting on the floor with a red long ribbon lace wrapped tightly around her body in a semi-bdsm style, exposing her figures and her underwear.
"I got tangled!" Tejina cried out, "I thought I could do the ribbon trick okay but this had to happen!" she complained.
"Tejina!" Trixie shouted in disbelief while covering Lincoln's eyes, "Can you not be indecent once in a while?!" the silver-haired magician admonished, "Lincoln is here!" she added in annoyance.
"I'm sorry!" Tejina apologized, "But it was an accident!" she argued, "I never want to be in this way!" she cried out.
Back outside, Tenma and Rin saw what transpired inside the room, they then look at each other.
"Don't think anything weird, ya creep." Rin beckoned with a blank look.
"I'm asexual thank you very much." Tenma replied with an annoyed look before taking notice of Bugs walking past them while munching a carrot at the same time, "Pray to God that Big Ed never meets that guy." he uttered in dread.
A few minutes later, Rin and Tenma are seen walking towards a wide open field that is surrounded by large bleachers and pillars. Two teenage boys named Harry Potter & Ron Weasley and four teenage girls named Atsuko "Akko" Kagari, Hermoine Granger, Lotte Yansson and Sucy Manbavaran are seen gathered at one side while having a discussion.
"While we had a lot of rooms to practice our respective magic..." Rin trailed, "... but this field is often used for a lot of magical activities." she explained, "It is also where everyone pratice flying on their brooms." she added.
Tenma snorted, "Broom, shrooms!" he dismissed, "Everybody knows that a flying spell is much better than flying on a broom, jetpacks or even wings." he declared with a grin.
"That is true but not everybody had the ability to use a flying spell, so alternative methods are much appreciated." Rin stated.
"Me point still stands." Tenma insisted.
Rin raised an eyebrow, "Well then..." she trailed, "... show me your flying spell." she beckoned.
Tenma flinched in response before rubbing the back of his head, "I, uh, still working on it." he replied rather sheepishly.
Rin facefaulted, "Wow..." she uttered in disbelief, "... talk big about the flying spell being better than others when you can't even do it yourself." she stated, "I'm beginning to think why you prefer flying spell over brooms because you can't even ride one!" she declared.
"Hey!" Tenma exclaimed in an offended tone, "I can ride a broom!" he declared, "And I can prove that I can!" he added.
Rin crossed her arms, "We'll see about that." she said before turning around, "Hey, Potter!" she called out.
Harry and his group then turns their attention towards them, "Do you need something, Miss Toosaka?" the bespectacled boy asked.
Rin then jabbed a thumb at Tenma, "Lend this lowlife your broom." she requested.
A few minutes later, everyone are seen gathered around Tenma whom after borrowing Harry's broom, he mounted on the cleaning tool with his hands gripped tightly on the wood.
"Okay, I can do this." Tenma uttered to himself.
"What's wrong, Romeo?" Rin asked, "Having second thoughts?" she assumed.
"I am not having second thoughts." Tenma dismissed in annoyance, "I'm just physically and mentally preparing myself first." he reasoned.
Rin shrugged her shoulders, "If you say so." she replied before leaning towards Hermoine, "He's gonna get himself hurt, I'm sure of it." she whispered in declaration, much to the bushy-haired girl's confusion.
Taking a deep breath, Tenma's face morphed into pure determination, "Here I go!" he declared and made a big jump while folding his legs at the same time and suddenly... he came crashing down with his knees smashing onto the ground, "AAAAAAAAAAH!" he screamed in pain and began to roll around the grass, "My knees!" he cried out, "My kneeeees!" he cried even louder while everyone watches him in utter disbelief and bemusement.
"Oh, boy..." Rin uttered out loud, "Another trip to the infirmary." she mused.
