Mirio looked around, confused; he had hoped he would have a chance to talk with Nejire. She had been faithful to her word and had only spoken to him when necessary and only when they had a brief meeting for the student council. Tamaki was stuck in the middle. Mirio had asked him to talk to Nejire about it, and he had reluctantly done so, but Nejire had shut that down quickly.

"Tamaki, don't get yourself in the middle of this," she smiled at him. "This is between Mirio and Me; you don't need to get involved. I still consider you my friend and everything. My problem is with Mirio, and if I wanted to talk to him, I would."

"Are you going to come to the watch party?" He asked a slight sense of relief in his voice.

"No, YuYu and I are going to go watch the first years live," she giggled, skipping off. "I need to support my Kohai."

"What, Kohai?" he called out.

"My SPECIAL KOHAI!" she yelled back.

"She said 'Special Kohai?" Mirio pressed.

"Yeah, does that mean something?" Tamaki said quickly.

"Don't worry about it, Tamaki."

-Mirio & Duncan-

"Hey, Duncan, do you know where YuYu is?" Mirio asked, trying to sound casual.

"I think she went to watch the first years with Nejire," he replied, pulling freshly baked cinnamon rolls from the oven. "Sorry to hear about you and Nejire."

"It's ok, she just blew things out of proportion," Mirio looked longingly at the rolls as Duncan covered them in frosting. "Once she calms down, she will come to her senses."

"Look, I don't want to get in the middle of your business, but from what I know of Nejire if it was enough to make her mad, then maybe you should address that," Duncan cut out a roll and placed it in small box handing it to Mirio. "Here on the house."

Mirio looked at Duncan. The man was such an intimidating specimen, 6'8, with fiery red hair, blue eyes, and built like a fucking house, but he was a cook/baker. His quirk affected anything he cooked, making it extraordinary; Mirio realized that he wasn't even quite sure what Duncun's quirk was. Irish-born, abandoned in Japan, grew up in the system and managed to make his way into U.A.

He was a gentle giant; the only time Mirio ever saw him upset was in the second year when someone had insulted YuYu and made her cry; it was a sight to behold watching a culinary student beat the living hell out of a hero course student. YuYu and him had been together ever since.

"Thanks, Duncan!" he said as he left to go and find Nejire.

Mirio & All-Might

The young hero had hoped to get close to where Nejire was to find out who this "special Kohai" was, but that had been dashed when All-Might had seen him and instead invited him to his VIP booth.

"I am sorry to hear that your relationship with Young Hado has ended," All-Might patted his shoulder. "It is a difficult path that I have asked you to walk, and this will not be the only time your relationships will suffer due to One for All."

"I understand, All-Might," Mirio smiled for his mentor. "Nejire is flighty. She needs some time to cool off before we can talk it out."

"I hope so, my boy," All-Might smiled as the first years entered the stadium. He looked at Izuku and Momo leading the class; he protested to Nezu when he heard that the young man had been given the honor of the opening speech; his only position was that he felt the message the boy would deliver would not be suitable for the school. Nezu had dismissed All-Might's complaint that Izuku had earned the right to provide the address with his performance in the entrance exam.

"I wonder what he will say," the pro hero muttered.

"Who?" Mirio responded.

"Izuku, he is giving the opening address." Mirio scowled.

-Somewhere in America-

"See that, Izumi, that is the U.A. Sports Festival. After your quirk manifests and you get big and strong, you will be on that screen showing the world how wonderful you are," Hisashi looked down at the little girl in his arms.

"What if she?" Inko said, sitting down as she set down a bowl of popcorn and some drinks.

"Not going to happen," he said. "She is perfect. So much better than…"

"Don't, Hisashi," she said. "You weren't there…Is that Izuku?"

"No, it can't be," Hisashi responded, passing Izumi to Inko.

"Now let's begin with the opening speech by this year's top scorer in the entrance exam, Izuku Midoriya."

Izumi giggled and began to babble.

-The Nowhere Bar-

"That is him, the one responsible for our defeat." Shigaraki, a glass, is disintegrating in his hands. "He just destroyed the Nomu."

"Yes, young master, but there is no need to take it out on the glassware," Kurogiri said.

"You should bring him here so I can destroy him," Shigaraki smiled, "Let's do that; we will wait and see how far he goes. I hope he wins it all so I can kill him in front of the world. I wonder what dribble he is going to spew."

"We shall both find out at the same time, young master," Kurogiri said, setting another glass before his young master.

-Somewhere-

"Are you positive, Dr.?" a hollow voice rang out, the sounds of various medical machines beeping and whirling.

"I am almost positive, master; he is the boy that we collected Decay from," the doctor stared at the screen, "There is no way he could have developed a second quirk unless this is your doing, master; if so, forgive me."

"I have done nothing with this one. Is he also not the one that Kurogiri reported that disassembled our Nomu, forcing them into retreat?" Malice permeated the voice.

"Yes…master, I believe so," the doctor said hesitantly.

"I want to know more; get me EVERYTHING!"

-England-

"Can't believe we have to sit here and watch this?" the boy with colorless eyes said, pouting as he flopped in the chair.

"We lost Ashcroft," his sister responded, handing him a bag of chips and a drink.

"Don't remind me, Emma. You weren't the one in charge, so I had to make the report to Father," he took the chips with a smile, seeing they were his favorite. "So your answer is to make me sit here and watch this damn spectacle."

"I believe we can learn more about our opponent, or do you not wish to confront the Phoenix again?" Emma sat, her eyes fixed on the screen.

"I am going to meet him again, and I am going to take him out…permanently." Ashcroft settled in to watch the show.

"No society can hope to stand on the shoulders of one man, no matter how broad they may be, as one day he will not be here to save us. While no villain could ever hope to best him, time remains undefeated. For decades and generations, he has held back the darkness to allow us to walk in the light. It has become so commonplace that no one thinks about it. Some heroes strive to be people we can depend on, but do they limit themselves, knowing they could never eclipse or rival All-Might?

-All-Might-

He listened to the story; initially, he wondered where Midoriya was going with his fairy tale, but it soon became apparent. It was an insult and a call for change. He had praised All-Might but at the same time had condemned his actions and mission statement.

This boy didn't know what lurked in the darkness; the reports about the monster at the USJ attack had been troubling but not as alarming as when the reports came in on the monster's remains. It was not just a person; it was several people combined. There was only one person he knew capable of such a thing, All for One.

But maybe he did know something; the Demon Lord Izuku mentioned he was referencing All for One. Did he know about All For One, or was All For One truly responsible for Izuku's quirk and his transformation? Jean had told him that she was responsible, and with the demonstration of her telepathic capabilities, if All For One was the one responsible and she was working with him, things would get dire.

Was it all a plan to throw him off, and he had almost fallen for it?

He might have thought for a minute that the attack could have been staged. But would the boy have let his class be in such danger? He had read the report about the actions of Brighton Freadom and the danger that the boy's girlfriend had been put in. According to the AAR (After Action Reports), especially the report that Young Jiro had given, the girl was on the verge of death. She and the others were healed "supposedly" by Midoriya.

It would have endeared him to his class, but Brighton's actions seemed outside the plan's scope to destroy the monster. It would have been a vast waste of resources, and All for One was not one to waste resources.

Midoriya was praising All-Might; no villain could beat him, but criticizing how the other heroes didn't try because he was around. Saying a very reasonable truth that time would catch up with all of them, only All For One had been able to outrun it, had been his constant theft of quirks. He was taking a shot at many other heroes; he could see the anger growing on their faces, but he was surprised that they weren't as angry as he thought.

He could see the beginning of anger, which turned to contemplation.

-Endeavor-

At first, he didn't care for the boy's words, especially when praising that blonde buffoon, but then he heard it. The call out to all the other heroes who just sat back and never thought to push themselves to improve. He recognized the young man from the Yaoyorozu's ball. Shota had gone to the ball, but that foolish girl had chosen this boy over the others present.

He had overheard from Fuyumi that he had helped them move Shoto's belongings into the dorms; on top of that, he had seen Shoto training harder than ever in the weeks leading up to the sports festival. When his siblings asked him why, he told them that there was someone that he needed to beat. Then Shoto came to him and asked to be trained in his fire, to learn how to control it.

Endeavor had read the reports; the bear villain had finally pushed his stubborn son to realize that using only half his power was not only dumb but just plain foolhardy. Was this friend he wanted to beat this boy up on the stage, calling out all the heroes for playing it safe? Telling them to challenge for the top just like he did. If this boy could back up this talk, he might invite him to intern with Shoto.

-Mirio-

How dare this guy? Was he calling out All Might for being a symbol? For being a pillar? In the same sentence, he said All-Might kept the shadows at bay, allowing them to walk in the light. He was criticizing the very heroes that were here to offer him mentorship. To let this undeserving, arrogant, clear danger to the school continue to spew this…garbage was unconscionable.

He was just ignorant; Mirio was sure of it. This idiot on the podium was just up there daring to spit in the face of all those who had made his life possible. To dare to say how the greatest hero of all time had done their job. It was beyond rude; it was downright criminal.

All-Might had been summoned by Nezu to answer questions on why he was late the day of the USJ and criticized for his actions. Power Loader had an official reprimand placed on his record for some incident in the support course the same day. He knew this because he overheard the teacher talking about it in the teacher's lounge while Mirio was waiting for All-Might.

He didn't understand that society needed a shining beacon to hold back the light, and that same person was responsible for holding up that society. At least he got one thing right: no villain would ever beat All-Might; the one that had come close had failed, and All-Might had won. He was calling out All-Might and, by extension, him.

-Nejire-

She was sitting in the student section just behind where 1-A would sit later and was ultimately into the speech. She loved the little story of how it started, but when he got to how society had faltered, she started thinking.

She wanted to be a hero to do good and save people, not for fame or anything else. Heroes out there used their status to launch beauty lines, and she used Uwabami's beauty products. Others used it for selling stuff, movies, and merchandising deals. Her first internship was with Uwabami, and while the hero was very focused on brand building, she did some rescue work and fulfilled her obligations but was more focused on the brand. Her second year was when she found Ryuko and never looked back.

Ryuko was the type of hero that Nejire wanted to be. She did do some media work, but you had to nowadays…

Why? Why did heroes have to do media work? Why couldn't they be heroes? And the other thing, why couldn't she be better than All-Might? She wasn't physically a powerhouse, but her quirk was plenty strong. She realized that while she hopped to be a top hero, she never considered the possibility of being the best; why?"

And if everything rested on one pillar, there was no way for that one pillar to hold up everything. Parts would get heavy and have to shift to support that part; others wouldn't get the needed support, etc.

She was going to challenge All-Might and even Ryuko; she wanted to be the best and be a pillar, not the only pillar but one of the pillars that holds everything up.

Society has stagnated; quirks used to be celebrated, not berated. They are not judged as useless or villainous; they are not the measure of a child but part of them. Any quirk was a blessing, but they became so common that we now feel we can denigrate them and label them useless or villainous. Force those we deem so into boxes or roles, not allowing them to grow and show what they indeed are."

-Unknown Apartment-

"Can you believe that shit?" Magne called out to her roommate."

A fair-skinned girl with delicate features sat on the couch with her knees tucked under her chin. She seemed to be wholly absorbed in the image on the screen, blushing slightly. Her yellow eyes tilted inward, and had thin slit-like irises, giving her a feline appearance. Her wide mouth also appeared somewhat feline, with pointed canines longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampiric look. She was twirling her pale ash-blonde hair styled in two messy buns, with a straight fringe and two chin-length side bangs framing her face.

"Earth to Toga," Magne said, looking at the girl.

"I can, and I do; I bet he means every word he is saying," Toga finally responded. "I bet he would look even better covered in blood. Do you think he will bleed today?" Toga's breathing was getting heavy; if anyone other than Magne was witnessing this, they may have been freaked out. But for Magne, this was normal.

"If he makes it to the third round?" Magne responded.

Magne was a woman with a broad, muscular build. Her shoulder-length hair was smooth and had a reddish-magenta hue. She had a square jawline and a thin layer of facial hair. Her lips were noticeably large and had a slightly pinkish tint. She was wearing a dark orange shirt, which was unbuttoned, revealing the white V-neck she had on underneath. She had paired her shirt with blue jeans and a belt, and dark brown espadrilles completed her look.

She had experienced a hard life due to her looks, her identity, and just trying to make a living. She saw this boy on that stage calling out for equality, for those like her and Toga, whose quirks should be celebrated. If only the world were that way, then maybe she wouldn't be living in some run-down apartment in the worst part of the city. She knew this kid's speech was a pipe dream, but that was the thing about dreams: they were nice to think about.

"No longer are we chasing the stars, striving to make our society more extraordinary; where are the innovations? Where are those pushing society's boundaries to make things better? Not just for a select few but for everyone. To raise not just themselves but everyone around them, not just those they know but those they will never meet. If that is the society you want, I know I don't. I want greatness for everyone; I want the chance to expand and grow for everybody who dares to reach and fight for it. Not some select few that happen to be born with a flashy quirk. I don't want to live in a society where when young adults are attacked and face near death, others look at them and are jealous, envious, and spiteful that they nearly lost their lives.

-Hosu City-

There was a man with an imposing build and walked with a noticeable hunch. He had a flat, somewhat triangular face, devoid of a nose, which he had removed himself. His tongue was unusually long and had multiple small papillae. He kept his long black hair messy, but it didn't cover his face, thanks to his headband and mask. His small eyes were red with tiny irises.

He stood watching the television, listening to the words of the child; on the one hand, how dare this nobody, this naive child, was up there giving a backhanded compliment to the only true hero of the age. But then he was calling out those who were just there for fame and glory—the fake heroes.

Words were nice, but deeds were needed; they spoke much louder than words. Another message would be sent tonight, and another false hero would be brought low.

"Speak your words, young man; maybe you can awaken those who are asleep before I get to them," it was almost a prayer being sent out into the ether as the man prepared the tools he needed for his hunt.

-The Nowhere Bar-

"Are we still going to kill him, young master?" Kurogiri asked as he presented another energy drink.

"Interesting…He sees some of the problems with this world. He recognizes that change is needed, and he is calling for it. He isn't speaking to the heroes but to the masses. I think we can use him," Shigaraki took a long drink. "The heroes just blind him, we just need to bring him over to our side. Maybe his flowery words are just what my party needs. Bards do have some uses."

-America-

"This can't be…" Hisashi muttered, staring at the screen. Quickly, he opened his phone and began to google U.A.; the first thing was the Sports Festival, and the second was the headline "U.A. ATTACKED!"

He opened the link quickly and scanned the article. Villain attack, students injured, IZUKU MIDORIYA.

He froze, zooming in on the class photo; it was the same person on the screen in front of them. He keeps looking; Izuku Midoriya, the name is part of some article on the society pages. Relationship with the heir of the Yaoyourzu Corporation. His heart was pounding; his head started to hurt.

He wanted to say it was just a terrible coincidence; this boy on the screen was too well built, too confident, and there was no way his weak, useless son could have become this boy on the screen. Fight off a villain attack, court an heiress.

Message Alert: Sender Kizuki.

Isn't that your son?

He breaks into a sweat; it can't be; it just can't be Izuku.

Inko stares at the screen, her daughter in her arms, just babbling away at the boy speaking on the screen. It is almost like she is replying to his words but definitely reacting to him. It is Izuku, her… no, not her's anymore, but it is him. Their son looks different and even sounds a little different, but she knows it. Their son is on center stage at the U.A. Sports Festival, the top scorer in the entrance exam.

"Inko is that?" she hears her husband say, sounding shell-shocked.

"Yes." She whispers.

-Detnerat Corporation-

Riykiya Yotsubashi leaned back in his chair, his gaze fixed on the giant projection of the U.A. Sports Festival and the young man giving the opening address. As the President and CEO of Detnerat Company, Riykiya inherited the leadership of the Meta Liberation Army, once controlled by the ancestor Destro.

Rikiya is a middle-aged man who is tall and has an odd appearance. He has small, dark eyes, a prominently long, pointed nose, and an obtruding chin. His hair is short and orange-brownish, but it's noticeable that it's set far up his forehead with a widow's peak pointing downwards in the center. Due to his Quirk, which causes his hair to recede, he doesn't have visible eyebrows and has two dark moles on the left of his forehead. Sometimes, when he's upset, a dark fire-like stain spreads around his eyes, becoming a sizeable facial stain that looks like a domino mask. Despite looking slim, he has a muscular mantle and figure.

The Metal Liberation Army stood for a straightforward thing: Quirks should be celebrated, not suppressed or controlled, and not labeled, forcing people into a box. He is dissatisfied with the current hero society and often points out its flaws and shortcomings, usually using villains as examples. He thinks that despite various Quirks, people still need to conform to a specific mold to be accepted by society, and those who do not fit in are cast aside without empathy. He believes many outcasts or individuals with limited options turn to villainy as a way out. He argues that a society where Quirks are completely liberated would eliminate loneliness and estrangement, and he uses this to support his agenda.

Here was this boy calling for everything they believed in, the people to fight, to stand up. He had to follow their beliefs; there was no way for it to be anything else. Either The boy was indoctrinated by his parents, or he had read his ancestor's teachings and realized their truth.

"Has he responded?" he said to his subordinate watching the broadcast.

"No," the woman responded. "But I already started digging; it's him. That is Hisashi's son." A woman with long, pale lilac hair wore it parted to her right side. She had full lips, pale blue skin, and notably long eyelashes, wrinkles, and small eyebrows. Her eyes were unusual; her sclerae were completely black, her eye irises were green, and her pupils were also completely black.

"Thank you, Curious, get Skeptic on this. I want to know everything about this Izuku Midoriya, and I want to see his father first thing in the morning," Riykiya ordered. He leaned forward, his arms resting on the desk, his fingers steepled under his chin. "This boy may just be what we need to get our teachings out there; I want you to meet with him as well. Find out if he has read the book; get him too."

"Yes, Grand Commander!" she immediately went to work.

-Infinite Arcana-

"Isn't that him?" Silvia purred as she sat up in bed, stretching her arms above her nude form. She was gorgeous, with flawless pale skin, raven black hair, and soulful storm-grey eyes. Her voluptuous body caught the eye of many in their meeting with the woman, a fact that she used to her advantage.

"That is him," her lover and husband responded, the enigmatic Infinity. He was that to the outside world; he was simply Marion to her. He brushed his unkempt brown hair from his distinctive eyes, which looked like the circuit boards in many products worldwide.

"He's handsome, rather impressive speech." She commented as she laid back down across his chest, her hand slipping underneath the covers and in between his legs. Lightly, almost absently, she began to stimulate him.

"It is interesting; it seems he wants change to happen voluntarily rather than with force," he lightly traced patterns across her back. "I think we should initiate contact through this girl." An image of Mei filled the screen.

"She is the inventor, right?" Silvia smiled, feeling him harden in her hand.

"She is; she was also to reverse engineer the latest public chip; the girl is brilliant. Make sure you have our people check out her booth," he smiled as she nodded, slipping under the blankets.

-Elizabeth Freadom-

She sat in her office looking over the boy's file on the screen, the same boy her brother had an obsession with. Her relationship with Brighton was non-existent; he was her brother by blood, which was the extent of their interactions. Truthfully, she hadn't even known about him till he was brought into her office at Freadom Tower, and her father told her he was.

She had tried to get to know him but was blocked at almost every turn; then, he began to spout off this quirk of superiority nonsense. Telling her how unfit she was to be father's heir and that the company she kept was a shame upon them. It wasn't clear till she met his mother, Heather King, and it all began to make sense.

Heather King was one of those social elites who spewed the same nonsense as her child; it was surprising that her father had even sired another child, let alone with that woman. Heather was attractive, but her personality was just fucked up, and the sort of attraction or beauty the woman had.

When her father turned Brighton over to Essex, it haunted her. She knew what Essex was capable of; she had seen his modifications in the flesh. How he looked at the world seemed sinister; he was amoral, which was a whole host of problems in and amongst itself. Essex would think of something and never complete if he should do it, and that made him very dangerous. Whatever returned one day would not be Brighton.

She returned to work, reviewing the files her father had sent her. She wasn't sure what she was looking for, but something about this Izuku Midoriya wasn't adding up.

-America-

"Mr. Yotsubashi wants to meet with me…tomorrow!" Hisashi muttered. "They have already sent a plane ticket."

"You better get packed," she responded. "Are you going to see him?"

"No, not unless I have to." He got up and headed towards the bedroom.

-USJ Sports Festival-

The stares from the student body didn't leave Izuku till Midnight announced the first event. Everyone started to break apart. He noticed 1-B standing together and casting glances at him and the General Studies class; he saw the boy with purple orbs talking frantically with his arms moving around, seemingly trying to rally his class once more.

"Truly a wonderful speech!" Momo said, kissing his cheek. Izuku smiled at her as he noticed Melissa and Mei approaching. It wasn't long before the rest of their training group made their way over.

He smiled and thanked them as they congratulated him on his speech. "All right, everyone, here is the plan we are going to stick together; we should be able to keep a solid pace with all the running we did," he laughed at the groan, especially from Hitoshi. "I expect some are going to try and trap the exit from the stadium, so we are going to go up and over."

"Once we land Kyoka and Koji, start using your quirks to scout out what's ahead of us; Fumi, you, and Momo will be our front line, with Itsuka and Tsu on the sides. Call out anything, and stick together." He put his hand in the group's center; everyone placed their hand in. "If a member of our class goes down, call it out so we can get them back on their feet; if any member of the support course falters, do the same. Concentrate, and we got this; now DOMINATE ON 3."

"DOMINATE!"

This may have been an exciting race in another world, with lead changes and various shenanigans afoot for the color commentator Present Mic to play off of and hype the event. But this was not that world.

True to his prediction, Juzo from 1-B softened the ground, trapping a bunch of the contestants, while Shoto even froze some of the others, but Izuku was happy to see he excluded their class from his trap. Izuku's group went up and over before moving at a brisk pace. Thanks to Kyoka's recon, the ROBO INFERNO was called out before they reached the obstacle. Fumi, Mina, and Momo quickly cleared the path while Izuku deflected any stray attacks that happened to head their way.

Tsu was moving through, grabbing fallen classmates and helping them get back on the move, with Melissa doing the same. Koji's report of the chasm allowed them to coordinate their traversal in moments; Telekinetic bridges were terrific. Bakugo and Shoto were right up there with them; they were in the lead till they hit the minefield.

The group didn't stop as Ochaco tagged them all, and they jumped over the minefield. When she landed, she stumbled, releasing her quirk, but didn't get sick. Izuku contemplated her and told them to run for the finish line. He turned and looked back at all the other contestants; he reached out and telekinetically grabbed all his classmates except for Shota and Bakugo, who ran past him. Bakugo cussed him out while Shoto just smiled. He pulled the rest of his class over the minefield, flipped off the annoying blonde of 1-B, and jogged to the finish line, coming in 21st overall; as part of their plan, the group had allowed Melissa to cross the finish line first. A quirkless girl had just won first place in the first event of the U.A. Sports Festival.

-I-Island-

David Shield just sat back, staring at the screen; his daughter was in the center, with a giant smile across her face; she had just taken first place. They had not talked at all since she left the island. He knew she would be competing at the festival but assumed it would be more like the other support course and business students did; they would hang back, give it a try, and then show their stuff at their booths and presentations on the second day. She was not running with the lead pack. He stared at the monitor as she hugged Mei and Momo and then jumped into Izuku Midoriya's arms once he trotted in.

"VERONICA!" he bellowed.

"Yes, David?" the AI responded.

"Get me everything you can on Izuku Midoriya, and whatever Melissa has been up to, hack her computer!" he slammed his fist on the table.

"Yes, David."

-America-

He was pulling people around. Did he have a version of her quirk? Had he developed a version of her quirk? Inko sat stunned, watching the screen; he had a quirk. There was not a doubt about it. Inko looked at Izumi in her arms and didn't know what to do. She had abandoned him; now, he was competing on the most significant stage in the world.

The way the blond girl, Melissa, was hugging him, did he have a girlfriend? Then she saw a girl called Momo kiss him. Hisashi stood behind his wife, watching everything unfold; he bowed his head and left. He had a plane to catch.

Inko looked at him, so big and strong; he had a girlfriend, maybe even two. He would have a life and possibly children someday, children she would never know, and that would never know her. She wept.

-Detnerat-

A quirkless girl had just won the first event of the Sports Festival. They let her win as well; he saw the group she was with, then pulled back and let her take the top spot of the largest sporting event in the world.

"Melissa Shield!" he spat out. "I want to know everything!"

-All-Might-

Emblazoned on every screen in the arena was his niece. The winner of the obstacle course. He knew he hadn't even checked on her since the start of the year; he had forgotten she was even enrolled at U.A. Now, she was on every screen in the world. His eyes narrowed at how she jumped into Izuku's arms; it looked like she would kiss him when she remembered she was on television.

He got to his feet; there would be a break between events, and he would talk to his niece to get some answers.

-Mirio-

He thought the blonde on the screen was pretty; she had a great smile. His musing soured when he saw her jump into HIS arms. This girl is being led astray; maybe he could talk to her and give her some advice; after all, he was her upperclassman. When his mentor got up and excused himself, Mirio decided it would be an excellent time to look for Nejirie.

"I am going to go stretch my legs," he said, following his mentor out.

-VIP Section-

"Big speech, but he didn't even come in first!" a pro spat.

"He ensured that his class all advanced and showed that he could work with a team, you ignorant wretch," Edge Shot sat back; this boy was someone he would have to watch.

"I was hoping he could fight, but instead, it seems his quirk is all mind stuff," Miriko pouted.

"What would it matter? Not like you would have sent him an internship request," Ryuko teased.

"If he could fight, I just may have; I want to see if he can back up all that talk. Besides, no one calls me out for being a glory hog!" she fired back.

-Unknown Apartment-

"He let the quirkless girl win. Did you see that he let the quirkless girl win!" Toga was jumping up and down on the couch in excitement. "I think he likes blondes," she purred. "Oh, please bleed for me! I want to see you all bathed in that glorious crimson."

"I SWEAR TOGA, IF YOU START PLAYING WITH YOURSELF IN THE LIVING ROOM AGAIN, I AM GOING TO BE SO PISSED!" Magne bellowed.

-U.A Arena-

"Congratulations to our top 50 contestants!" Midnight called out. "We will take a 30-minute break while we prepare for our second event. But you kittens have an assignment, you are to get into groups of 5 groups. No group can be larger than 15 or smaller than 5 for our next event…CASTLE DEFENSE!"

-Nejire-

You hear that YuYu lets go congratulate my Kohai!" Nejire was over the railing and running before YuYu could react. "Maybe I should give him a kiss for good luck!"
