Hey guys, I'm back with the second chapter! I'm so sorry it took me so long to post and had you waiting, I was busy irl and I honestly had no idea what to do.. anyway, let's get started.
Several months have passed since the quintet of Hollows formerly known as the Simpsons entered Hueco Mundo after being lynched by everyone they loved. Although, the family did not know this was how they became Hollows because they had lost all of their memories about who they once were. Other than having no memories, they also had no hearts and instead had holes in their chests (as all Hollows do), forever destroying who they were once like.
Homer was no longer that lovable oaf everyone knew when he was alive. He never became clumsy when attacking prey nor did he do anything one could consider stupid. He never even uttered a "D'oh," not even once. He was feared by other Hollows due to his immeasurable strength and Spiritual Pressure. It was quite surprising that his own family was unharmed by this however. Homer was inarguably the strongest of the family by brute strength. He was capable ripping up Hollows with ease and even decapitate them with a single swipe from his hand! Homer also had a power jaw strength that was able to break and tear through the toughest of Hollow armor and consume his prey alive. All of this done without any inch of remorse whatsoever.
Marge no longer had that kind and gentle personality she had when she was alive. Although she wasn't as apathetic and violent compared to her family, she was still non-nurturing and sometimes a little hostile. Not towards her family of course. Marge didn't care at all when she heard the screams of a Hollow being eaten alive. She didn't care when her prey begged for mercy. Despite looking vulnerable, Marge's body was very tough and durable. When another Hollow would slash at Marge, the Hollow's claws would just break off due to her tough body. Marge could attack her prey by ramming her razor sharp antlers into Hollows. The antlers were sharp and powerful enough to pierce through even the toughest Hollow armor.
Bart no longer had that hidden kind heart he had when he was alive (both literally and figuratively). He loved to torture his prey with no remorse by paralyzing them with his venom and tearing them apart, the tortured Hollow feeling every single tear of pain as Bart's venom didn't numb pain receptors. Bart loved hearing the screams of his prey begging for their life, he craved it. Bart was the quickest of the family, capable of catching up to an unsuspecting Hollow a mile away in the matter of seconds. Bart was so fast that his speed could be mistaken for teleportation.
Lisa was no longer that empathetic and talented girl she was when she was alive. While Lisa was still very intelligent even as a Hollow, she did not care about others or what would happen to them. Lisa would sometimes even watch a Hollow being eaten alive, screaming for help, and do nothing. Because she's a Hawk Hollow, Lisa is capable of flying at high speeds (although she's not as fast as her brother) and attack her prey from above. Sometimes, Lisa would just fly around in the forever night sky of Hueco Mundo, feeling the cold breeze against her feathers.
Maggie… well… not much was established about her when she was alive, other than being mute, sometimes violent, and extremely intelligent for a baby. Maggie remained mostly the same as a Hollow including being more violent… and even learning how to speak. Due to no longer having that pacifier that she doesn't even remember, Maggie learned how to speak more clearly and thoroughly. Besides this, Maggie was very apathetic towards her prey, this linked to her most common way of hunting. Her most often hunting tactic was strangling her prey to death. She would sometimes use her potent venom against her prey, but only if she was the only one eating the kill so her family wouldn't get poisoned by the venom still in the prey's system.
This was what they were and how their lives were now. They were mindless Hollows that consumed their own kind, just like the rest of Hueco Mundo's inhabitants. However, the family's status quo would forever change one day……
It was every normal day-err.. night.. in Hueco Mundo for the Hollow family. They were currently feasting on a Hollow that Lisa killed by slicing its head in two with her talons. All that could be heard was the gnawing of flesh and bone-like material, their mouths were dripping with green blood. The only thing on the family's minds was to consume the Hollow, well, it was on their minds all the time. They were Hollows after all.
"Woah, it's them! It's the Cinco Muertes!" a voice said suddenly. "Shhh! They're gonna see us!" another voice whispered. The five Hollow family members all looked up from their kill and looked into the direction to where the voices came from. There, what the family saw, was a group of five other Hollows in the distance looking directly at them, hiding behind a rock. "Oh no! They saw us!" Said the second voice, which came from a white Hare-like Hollow. "I think now is a good time to make a break for it," said a third voice which came from an orange Scorpion-like Hollow. "I-I know, I know, but it's so cool to see the Cinco Muertes up close!" said the first voice, which came from a red Lizard-like Hollow. As those five other Hollows began to run off, the family turned to look at each other. Cinco Muertes?
"Hey, wait a second," Lisa called out, causing the other Hollows to stop in their tracks and hesitantly look back to where they saw the family. "What do you mean, Cinco Muertes?" Lisa asked as she flew closer to the Hollows. Homer, Marge, Bart, and Maggie moved towards the Hollows as well, curious to know about this name. "You're the Cinco Muertes. You're five Hollows with an immense amount of Spiritual Energy, even more powerful than Vasto Lordes," said the fourth Hollow which looked like an olive green tortoise. The other Hollows nodded in agreement. The fifth and final Hollow remained silent, he looked like a dark gray raccoon.
The family looked at each other again, they recalled coming across a Vasto Lorde or two. Vasto Lordes were an extremely rare Hollow that looked very human compared to regular Hollows. They were also extremely powerful. They were said to be more powerful than….. what were they called? Shinigami? Well, those Shinigami, whatever they were, didn't live around here so the family didn't think they were important. Anyway, the family had killed a Vasto Lorde some time ago, it was quite strong but that Hollow underestimated the strength and spiritual energy of the Hollow family of five. And thus, the Vasto Lorde was killed and consumed by the family.
"Pfft! Who cares? Let's just eat them!" Bart said and ran straight towards the five Hollows, who started to freak out. Before Bart could reach them however, Homer quickly slammed his hand on Bart to keep in in place. "HEY! Let go of me you chunk of lead!!" Bart snarled as he flailed, trying to get out of his father's grasp. Unfortunately for the Spider Hollow, his Ape Hollow father's strength outmatched his own. Bart also did not have much of a neck so he couldn't maneuver his head to bite Homer. "How do you know this… stuff about us?" Homer asked the Hollows. The Hollows seemed hesitant to continue answering questions for the Cinco Muertes. It was the Cinco Muertes they were talking to!! Did they not even know much of a big deal they were? That small group of Hollows could even feel their immense Spiritual Energy from afar. If they got any closer, they'd die! The orange scorpion Hollow decided to answer Homer's question. "Word can spread quite quickly here. There's only so many Hollows in Hueco Mundo rumors are bound to spread or something like that," she said lazily.
The family looked at each other again (even Bart who was still trapped underneath Homer's grasp). They were infamous in this world? All they did was the status quo for all of Hueco Mundo's residents; kill or be killed. For some reason, the group being an infamous or well known family seemed…. Familiar to them. "Hmmm.. it's quite… interesting that we have this title. But we have names," Marge said. "Umm.. w-well.. I would've assumed so…. uh.. what are your names?" the white Hare Hollow asked. Lisa decided to be the one to introduce herself and her family to these Hollows. "I'm Lisa. The snake is my sister, Maggie. The spider is my brother, Bart. The ape and the elk are our parents, Homer and Marge," she said. The family nodded in greeting when their names were called. The Hollows tilted their heads in acknowledgement. "Hm.. they're a family…. not surprising I suppose.." the dark gray Raccoon Hollow said quietly.
"Hey, don'tcha have a last name? You're a family aren't you?" the red Lizard Hollow asked. The Hollow family exchanged glances. "Ummm…… not that we recall…." Homer said. It was now the Hollow group's turn to exchange glances. "A family with no last name? Pfft!" the red Lizard Hollow said, flicking her tail. Maggie hissed at the lizard's hostility towards her family. "Well… what're your names?" she asked, slithering closer to the Hollows who started to back up from Maggie's intense Spiritual Pressure. The Hollow group looked at each other again and then introduced themselves one by one.
"I'm Ferrari Rhyseaux," said the red Lizard Hollow.
"I'm Ford Gilgant," said the olive green Tortoise Hollow.
"I-I'm Volvo Zink," stammered the white Hare Hollow.
"I'm Cadillac Drakezer," said the orange Scorpion Hollow.
"….I'm Demekki Maserati," whispered the dark gray Raccoon Hollow.
"Demekki doesn't talk much," Cadillac clarified. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie were rather confused. Not by Demekki whispering, but rather, it was these Hollows' names. Ferrari, Maserati, Cadillac, Ford, and Volvo. These names sounded….. familiar… like they had heard these names at least once before. But from where? Wait a minute, why were they talking to these Hollows even and letting them introduce each other!? They should be eaten!!
"Hmm, do you think the Cinco Muertes could overthrow Aizen at Las Noches?" the family heard Ford ask his group. "You bet your asses we can!" Bart said. The group turned back to the family. Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Maggie looked at Bart as well. "We don't know who this Aizen guy is nor do we know what this Las Noches place is! But we can kick his ass and rule this world!!" Bart bellowed. Everyone looked on in surprise. Could they do it? Could they overthrow this Aizen fellow and rule Las Noches? Should they? "Now LEMME AT 'EM!!" Bart screeched as he flailed again to attack the Hollows, but he was still restrained by Homer. "Shut up, boy. I have some questions," Homer said. Bart grumbled but stopped flailing. Homer looked back at the Hollows and asked, "Who is Aizen? And what, and where, is Las Noches?"
"Uh.. well.. we don't know where exactly Las Noches is. But we do know that it's this city of sorts where the ruler of Hueco Mundo resides. Aizen is the current ruler but he's not a Hollow nor a Vasto Lorde.. he's a Shinigami!" Volvo said, his ears flattening at the name Aizen. Lisa tilted her head. "Why would a Shinigami rule the world of Hollows. They're not Hollows are they?" she asked. "No. But I've heard somewhere that he overthrew the previous king who was a Vasto Lorde," said Ferrari. "But hey! You guys are very strong! One against five, you can beat him and become the new rulers! What do you say?" she continued.
The family looked at each other. Should they rule Las Noches? Was it their… destiny? They looked back at the group of Hollows. "We'll consider it," Maggie said. "But now… it is time for you to DIE!!" Homer snarled, he let go of Bart whose primal instincts began to kick in along with his sisters. Ferrari, Ford, Volvo, Cadillac, and Demekki all started to panic, they could've ran but they knew that the Cinco Muertes were far faster. Before the family could charge… Marge stepped right in front of them, causing them to stop. "I say we let them go," she said. All if the Hollows looked at her dumbfounded. It was not like her, even Hollows in general to let their prey go! "HUH!?" They all said at once.
"We already have a big kill that we haven't finished yet. It will be quite wasteful to forget about it and have new prey," said Marge. The family looked behind them to where their (well, technically Lisa's) kill from earlier still laid there on the sand only partially eaten, not even close to have been done being consumed. The Elk Hollow was right. "…. Alright, fine.." Homer sighed. Bart, Lisa, and Maggie grumbled in agreement. "Good," Marge said before she turned her head to face the quintet of Hollows who were surprised by what one of the Cinco Muertes said. "Now leave before I change my mind," Marge said to them, to which they quickly obliged. The quintet of Hollows were very grateful for Marge sparing them.
The family watched the quintet run away into the distance and they turned to walk back to their kill. They had no idea why, but both the family and the quintet had a feeling that they would cross paths again someday.
"Why did you have to let them go, mom!?" Bart shouted as he was eating his meal. "Shut up, boy. Don't talk to your mother like that," Homer said, consuming a large chunk of the kill. "But YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LET THEM GO!!" Bart shouted at his mother, who was unfazed by her son's scream. "We already have our food. We're eating it right now," Marge said calmly. "So!? We could've gotten more food!!" Bart replied. "Too bad Bart. Be grateful I let you guys have some of my kill," Lisa said as she gnawed on a shell piece.
"Ahh shut up, beak face!" Bart said to his sister. Lisa dropped the food in her mouth and her feathers bristled up. "BEAK FACE!? Oh that is it!" She screeched and she launched herself at her brother. The Hollows siblings began fighting, causing a fuss around the kill. "Bart! Lisa! Stop!" Maggie said as she and her mother tried to break the the two apart but to no avail. Bart kept trying to bite Lisa to paralyze her but she was agile enough to dodge his fangs. This wasn't the first time the Hawk and Spider Hollows had a fight, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. However, Homer began feeling… agitated at the fight. He didn't know why, but he just started to get angrier and angrier… and then…
"WHY YOU LITTLE!!" Homer shouted suddenly and he charged at his fighting children, unleashing a high amount of his Spiritual Energy which was golden in color. His energy caused his family to be blown away at the sheer strength of it, also causing Bart and Lisa to be separated.
However, Homer did not stop. He grabbed his son with both hands and began to squeeze, awfully similar to strangling. Bart began to scream in pain from his father's spiritual energy, also known as Reiatsu. Although, he struggled because he was being "strangled" by Homer. "DAD/HOMER!! STOP!!" Marge, Lisa, and Maggie screamed. They were unable to get close due to Homer's monstrous spiritual pressure. The females' screams, along with Bart's choked screams caused Homer to realize what he was doing. He was killing his son!
No, no, no! He couldn't hurt his family, let alone his son! Homer immediately let go of Bart and backed away shakily, sealing his Reiatsu. Bart was coughing and shaking at the attack, his mother and sisters immediately went over to him. "Wh-what… the h-hell… man!?" Bart sputtered as he recovered. Everyone looked at Homer who, while not looking like it at all due to his mask, was absolutely terrified! Normally, since he was a Hollow, he wouldn't care if he killed another of his own kind. But this was different, this was his SON!! Homer started to scream as flashes came into his head, none of which seemed familiar to him. Homer's mask began to tighten around him as the flashes kept coming.
Get it off! Get it off! Get it OFF!! Homer began to yank at his mask, ignoring his family's concerns. More screams and flashes burst through his head. A blue sky. A glowing ball in place of the moon. A body of blue liquid. Machines. Screaming. Fire. Anger. Wrath. Eyes. Pain. Ropes. Snap. What were these flashes!? Make them stop!! After what felt like an agonizing eternity, Homer had torn off his mask.
With a sudden burst of golden spiritual energy. The black fur and bone armor on Homer's arms began to melt off of him. After seconds, the transformation process was over. In place of a black-furred Gorilla Hollow was an overweight yellow-skinned man that was almost completely bald with a five-o' clock shadow. The hole from when he was a Hollow was still in his chest. All that remained of his mask was the lower jaw, the part of the mask he tore off was laying beside him. Homer was laying on the desert floor, shaking from the sudden transformation. Homer had transformed into an Arrancar!
Marge, Bart (who had recovered), Lisa, and Maggie, all saw the transformation in shock and awe. This new form looked…. familiar. Like they had seen it before… but from where? And when? "…Homer?.." Marge asked as she got closer to her husband. Homer weakly looked at his still-Hollow family. He swallowed and tried to speak, but he couldn't. The family looked so strange to him now even though he's seen them like this for as long as he could remember. They looked at Homer and back at each other. And then, for reasons they'd never know, reached for their masks and attempted to tear them off. One by one, each of their masks had been torn from their faces (Maggie struggled because she had no arms) with four more beams of Reiatsu being unleashed during the transformations.
In place of the four Hollows were yellow-skinned humans with holes in their chests as well, however, they did look different from Homer too. For Marge, in place of a blue-furred Elk Hollow was a slim woman with long blue hair (that wasn't up in its iconic beehive but then again, Marge wouldn't remember having it up anyway). What remained of her mask was small antlers on her forehead. For Bart, he was a young boy with spiky hair the same color as his skin. What remained of his mask were the two pincers on his cheeks. Lisa was a young girl that also had spiky hair the same color of her skin. What remained of her mask was the upper left side of her face. Maggie was slightly bigger than a baby and she too had spiky hair the same color as her skin. What remained of her mask was a crest in her forehead. One moment, the family were Hollows, the next moment, they were Arrancar.
Marge was the first to get up from the sand. She was surprised how well she could stand on two legs given that she was on all fours for as long as she could remember. She flexed her fingers and her toes, it felt so strange to move them after having hooves. She looked over at the family's kill and, for the first time since becoming a Hollow, had no interest in eating it. Marge looked down at herself to examine her "new" body and her eyes widened, she was nude. In fact, the whole family was nude.
Knowing it was best to not walk around naked, she went over to the Hollow's corpse and took some of its hide to create rag-like clothing. When she finished it, she put it on. It looked very ugly, but at least it covered up her private areas. Wait…. Why am I good at making clothing out of a hide? How do I even know what clothing is? Marge thought. Remembering that the rest of her family was naked as well, she started to make more "clothing" for the family.
The rest of the family began to study their new bodies as well. "What happened?" Maggie asked as she was moving her limbs around, trying to get used to them. "I think…. We became Arrancar.." Lisa replied, flexing her arms and letting them go at her side, feeling strange to not have wings anymore. Wait, how did she know what an Arrancar was? Bart was upset that he no longer had eight limbs and he grumbled to himself. His grumpiness was soon changed to awe as he looked at his and his family's turn off masks. "Woah! You guys, look at our masks!" Bart said. The family (including Marge, who had came back to give her family the ugly rags) looked at Bart confused but obliged. They too stared wide-eyed. The torn off masks in the sand had started to change!
Before they knew it, the broken masks had transformed into items. Not just any items, the sealed nuclei of their powers. Homer's took the appearance of a metallic bludgeoning weapon many would call a baseball bat. Marge's was rather bizarre, it was a red pearled necklace. She couldn't recall ever having anything remotely close to this, but she put it on anyway. Bart's appeared as a metallic slingshot. Lisa's appeared as a brass colored instrument she recognized as a saxophone. She had no idea how she knew the name of the item as she had no recollection of having this at all. Lisa looked at the mouthpiece and blew into it, an off-key note was suddenly played, causing everyone to jump. That sounded terrible, she would definitely not play that thing again. Finally, Maggie's was a weird little red item people would call a pacifier. She didn't know what to do with it, so she stuffed it in a pocket in her newly brought "clothing".
The newly transformed family stood around for a moment. "Simpson!" Lisa said suddenly. "I remember our last name, it's Simpson," she said. The name clicked in everyone's heads. Yes, they were the Simpsons. They remembered something! However, that was it. "Well, that settles that," Marge said. "What now?" Maggie asked. They stood in silence again. Something else clicked in Homer's head again. "Las Noches. Let's go to Las Noches and find out who this… Aizen is,"
That's it for chapter 2! Looks like the Simpson family remember their last name and have become Arrancar. Now they're going to head towards Las Noches, I wonder how Aizen will react. Again, I'm so so sorry for the long wait. Hopefully chapter 3 won't take as long but I can't promise that.
P.S. Yes, I did name those five Hollows after cars. Why? Cause I thought it'd be funny
