Ulrich362: True, and yes every one of the main characters did qualify for the Arc-League... barely but they all managed it.
bopdog111: And we're sticking to what we're doing in the original. Frisk will be younger a bit so she'll be in the Junior Youth Division.
Ulrich362: Already pointed that out way back in chapter one to be fair, but yes. Frisk is just shy of being in the Junior Youth Division and will instead be competing in the Junior division alongside Allie, Tate, and Frederick. With that said though, enjoy the chapter.

Asriel feels his blanket being pulled back before feeling something jumping on him.
"Huh, what?" he asked opening his eyes.
It was Frisk who had a big smile, "Come on Azzy get up! It's the big day!"
"Big day?" Asriel asked wiping his eyes. "What do you mean?"
"The beginning of the Arc-League Championship!" Frisk answered.
Asriel's eyes shot open. "I completely forgot! I still can't believe we all made it."
"Well come on, and get ready! We are to leave in 1 hour." Frisk told him before walking out to give him some privacy.
"Is Azzy up?" Chara asked Frisk only to pause and frown.
"Just now." Frisk pats her back with a smile.
"You're not going to let me withdraw are you?" she asked with a frown.
"Chara, if you quit now, then I'm not gonna be able to help you." Frisk said to her with a frown.
Chara sighed. "I know, and believe me you and Azzy have done so much for me already."
"You regaining your love for Dueling is what we're both trying to do now." Frisk told her.
Chara closed her eyes at that. "When Azzy comes down we should head to You Show to go to the stadium with everybody."
After Asriel came down ready, Toriel was helping them check over. "Are you three all ready?"
"As ready as we can be mom." Asriel admitted nervously.
"Just remember it's not about winning, or losing, it's about having fun." Toriel smiled before turning to Chara, "And Chara, I know this will be difficult for you but try your best to have fun okay?"
"I'll try mom." she mentioned hugging her before taking a slow breath. "Ok, let's go."
They nodded before Frisk smiled asking, "Shall we?" She offered her hands to them.
Chara and Asriel took her hands as the three of them went to You Show to meet up with their schoolmates. They all arrived with a bus on the street before Frisk smiled brightly running over, "Yuyu!"
Blinking he looked over only to smile. "Hey Frisk."
He caught her in a hug as he smiled. Frisk pulled back giving him a big kiss while Zuzu hugged her own boyfriend with a smile.
"Hi Zuzu." Asriel smiled with a small blush. "Did... Sora manage to help you at all?"
"Oh yeah, he gave me some great cards." Zuzu nodded with a smile.
"And hey there Chara." Sora greeted Chara with a smile before asking, "So... are you looking forward for the Arc-League Championship?"
"Honestly, not really." Chara admitted only to pause. "Well, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys do really well anyway."
"Sure, we only have 11 students here at the You Show School. But what we lack in numbers. we make up for with guts." Skip told the seven students of You Show with Yoko, Asgore, and Toriel behind him, "I knew you kids were talented, but who'd have guessed you'd all qualify for the ARC League Championship!? It's the proudest moment of my duelist career!"
"Shouldn't we make a beeline for the area?" Allie suggested.
"Right you are Allie. But first let's have a quick refresher." Skip told them before clearing his throat to start, "As you may remember, this championship will be sectioned off into three age brackets, beginning with the Youth Division. That's where Tate, Allie, Frederick, and Frisk are competing."
"Wait, you're in the youth division? How old are you?" Lyra asked Frisk.
"My Birthday was 2 days late... And besides I'm a bit shy in Junior." Frisk admitted rubbing her head.
"So, if you're competing in the same division as Allie, and she's using Chara's deck isn't that like you two are dueling again?" Sora asked her.
"Yeah... probably." Frisk admitted.
"Next up we have the Junior Youth Division. That's where Yuya, Zuzu, Sora, Lyra, Chara, and Asriel are competing." Skip continued. "It's also where those three duelists from the Leo Institute will be competing."
Asriel flinched at that.
"You will get her this time Azzy." Frisk assured with a smile.
He nodded with a smile.
"Well, shall we?" Asgore asked with a smile.
"Right, let's go." Yuya grinned.
With that they entered the van riding in to the tournament. On the way Frisk rested her head on Yuya's shoulder as he gently held her.
'She looks so cute like that.' he thought with a smile.
Meanwhile...
"This is Joy Jeever reporting live from Paradise Square. The Whole City is sizzling with excitement. And why? Because one of the year's most exciting events is just about to kick off. I'm talking about the ARC League Championship. Crowds are filling the arena, eager to see their favorite duelists face-off in the fantastically realistic environments generated by the Leo Corporation's Augmented Realty Combat system." a female reporter stated in the arena, "This remarkable technology has revolutionized Action Dueling, placing duelists directly in the thick of battle. It's no wonder this pastime has the world's most fanatic fan base. They can't wait for this tournament to start. Neither can I! Any minute now the opening ceremonies will begin, and we can expect this crowd to go wild."
That was when she, and her cameraman heard the crowd cheering as they turned.
"Huh? Is the ceremony starting?" Joy asked looking around before seeing it, and smiled, "No, wait, he's here. We have a major celebrity sighting. It's the one and only Declan Akaba, President of Leo Corporation, the main sponsor of this competition. Listen to that crow as they welcome one of the dueling world's greatest stars!"
While she was saying that Declan along with the woman that was from his match with Dan walked to the sponsor chairs as the crowd cheered for them.
"What an electric moment! It seems like ages since Declan made a public appearance at a dueling event." Joy announced to the audience.
"Declan! Declan! Declan! Declan!" the crowd chanted his name as Declan waved to them.
Meanwhile...
They arrived inside looking around where Frisk admitted a bit, "This is certainly a lot of duelists."
"Yeah, it's a little intimidating." Asriel admitted.
"Hey where's Yuya?"
Hearing that they looked around seeing Yuya that was with them was gone as Frisk asked worried, "Oh no. Yuya, where did he go?"
"I don't have a clue where he wondered off too."
"No problem!"
Hearing that they turned to see a girl with puffy orange hair was there wearing a black dress, and having a Crystal Apple with her having a grin to them. Chara, Frisk, and Asriel don't recognized her but the others do.
"You're... Aura Sentia right?" Zuzu asked.
"You know where Yuya is?" Sora inquired.
"If my boyfriend is lost, then I'm the one to find him." Aura stated to them with confidence.
"Boyfriend?" Frisk asked hearing that a bit miffed at that.
"Aura, we told you already Yuya's girlfriend is Frisk." Zuzu told her in annoyance.
"Don't be silly, it's me, and him's destiny to be together." Aura then sighed dreamlily as she started having a daydreaming sequence, "I know where Yuya is. I'm having a vision of him right now as he visits my parents to ask them if he can take me out. Oh, Mommy and Daddy, please say yes."
"HEY! He's my boyfriend, not your's!" Frisk yelled really annoyed at this which is intimidating both Asriel, and Chara how from angry she's getting.
"Do you know where Yuya is or not?" Chara asked as Asriel put a gentle hand on Frisk's shoulder.
"We know Yuya loves you Frisk don't let her bother you." he whispered.
"Have no fear." Aura grinned to them, "If my clairvoyant powers can't locate Yuya, then the power of my love will."
With that she lay a napkin on the floor, and placed her Crystal Apple on it as she waved her hands on it, "Where are you, my darling sweetie pie?"
With her back turned Frisk is getting more annoyed as if about to do something to her while Asriel, and Chara tried to hold her.
"Where are my honey dearest?" Aura asked concentrating before smiling, "I see him!"
That made them gasp stopping what their doing.
"You do, where is he?" Frisk asked.
"That way." Aura said pointing out the window as they turned.
"Huh?" Tate looked before saying, "I don't see him."
"Because your not looking hard enough!" Aura told him, "He's way over there on that bridge."
"Oh... he might be feeling a bit overwhelmed, and getting some fresh air." Lyra suggested.
"I'll go talk to him." Frisk offered before running to see Yuya.
Running over she soon sees him sitting on a railing staring at the arena with his goggles on while his Pendulum swings in front of him. Concerned she asked, "Yuya?"
"Huh, oh hi Frisk." Yuya smiled seeing her before giving her a hug.
"Are you okay?" Frisk asked him worried since his goggles being down means he's feeling down.
"I'm just... thinking." Yuya admitted. "The Arc-League, winning would mean I'm one step closer to becoming a pro like my dad."
She only smiled before kissing him, "Well, I know you will be as great as he is."
"Well, I will be with you cheering me on." Yuya smiled kissing her back.
Frisk smiled back before they walked back in together where a voice said behind them, "Well well if it ain't little Sakaki."
They turned around to see a tall and muscular young man with a build comparable to that of Gong. He wears a pair of blue pants and what appears to be a red sash on his abdomen, with a purple shirt with thick pauldrons along with a blue jacket. Notably he also wears a pair of steel bracers and sandals.
"Grizzlepike?" Yuya asked seeing one of his childhood bullies is here.
"Well hope your not here, to run away just like your wimpy old man once did." the boy, Grizzlepike sneered.
"What'd you say?" Yuya asked offended.
"I still can't figure out how the son of a despicable coward refuse to duel Sledgehammer to let a girl do it for him." Grizzlepike sneered kept sneering poking his forehead, "No Sakaki is worthy of dueling in this stadium. Now, how's about I show you and your lousy cards where the exit is?"
"Walk away. Now." Frisk warned with a stare in her eyes.
"Oh, you're hiding behind a little girl now Sakaki?" Grizzlepike taunted. "I'm so scared."
"I said walk away." Frisk repeated with a glare.
"What are you gonna do about it Little Girl?" Grizzlepike asked her with a smirk.
"I'll make you."
Grizzlepike sneered before to Yuya's shock he smacked her down to the floor as everyone who heard the smack looked over where he kneeled placing a hand on her head pressing it down as she whimpered where he glared, "You think your so smart, little girl? You think, you of all people who beat Sledgehammer, has the right to boss ME around? Your only a coward's student, and should be out of this arena. How bout, I start hitting you like I did with Yuya before?"
Before anyone can do anything his SOUL appeared turning blue as he was raised surprised, "Wha..."
"so your the one who been picking on Frisk, and her boyfriend huh?" he looked shuddered as he stared in the eyes of Sans the Skeleton, "i got a bone to pick with ya, kid, ya understand? you see, Frisk, and Yuya here are off-limits... and if you keep messing with them kid..." his eyes are gone with a left blue one saying coldly that shook the confidence of everyone, "your gonna have SUCH a bad TIME. and TRUST me... it AIN'T PRETTY."
Grizzlepike shook as he was lowered down, and Sans released his hold before he warned, "now scram."
Grizzlepike tch before he stomped off.
Yuya's eyes widened before he helped Frisk up. "Are you ok? He didn't hurt you did he?"
Frisk held her cheek with a little bit of blood at the side of her lip with a bruise on her cheek, "He hit harder then I thought..."
"well, no worries." Sans said to her before turning over saying, "hey, Tori we could use some of your healing."
Toriel walked over as her hands glowed green and she healed Frisk before hugging her. Frisk hugged her back before turning to Sans, "Thanks Sans."
"anytime, kid. anytime. me, and Paps found our seats with the others, but I wanted to see how your doing, then I found that guy messing with ya. he certainly is a BIG BONE." he turned to the camera winking at his pun.
Yuya looked down. "Frisk, I'm sorry. I should have protected you."
"No Yuya, it's okay." Frisk assured him with a smile, "We didn't know he would pop up."
Yuya nodded but still looked upset as they walked to meet up with the others.
At the Arena...
"Greetings to all my fellow dueling fanatics both near and far. The day we've been yearing for has arrived as we flip the "on" switch for this year's ARC League Championship. My name's Nico Smiley and I'm thrilled to be your ceremony host from coast to coast. So let the ARC League Championship begin!" Nico announced to them, "And now let's kick off the ARC League Championship! Our daring duelists will march in by school. Take it away, Joy."
"Thanks, Nico. First off the Leo Institute of Dueling. Last year, Leo dominated the championships by winning all three divisions. With the largest contingent if duelists in this year's championship, they're a hands-down favorite to make another trophy sweet." Joy announced as You Show could see that Kit, Dipper, Julia, and a blonde haired boy were among the Leo Students, and also a purple suit boy with black hair was at.
Zuzu blinked seeing him.
"Zuzu you alright?" Asriel asked seeing that.
"That guy... I saw him before. When Sora was helping me practice." she answered. "Julia said he was attacking Leo students, so why is he with them now?"
"Our second group is determined to chop it's way to victory. It's the Bandit Warrior Academy, the most powerful proponents of martial arts style dueling. Their best student, Iggy Arlo, finished second in the Junior League last year and is now out for revenge." Joy announced as students look like battle hardened people with Iggy being a purple haired young man with a hard demeanor walked to the field, "And stepping up next, a team from far across the sea, the Mysterious Knights of the Duel Disk. Behind them, we have another hometown team and I'm sure they're ready to take down the competition!"
"That's our cue." Yuya grinned.
"Walking into the spotlight now are students from that small training facility for Dueltainers, the You Show School!" Joy called as they entered where they all looked around seeing the large audience.
"Let's do our best." Sora grinned.
Then the chairman started speaking, and for Yuya's displeasure for him to recite the Duelist's Oath before Nico announced, "Now it is time for our duelists to learn who they will be facing in their first matches. Okay, wannabe champions, time to slot your competition datacards into your Duel Disks."
They all inserted their cards as their randomized.
"I'm dueling Julia tomorrow." Zuzu mentioned looking at her Duel Disk.
"I'm up against Iggy Arlo." Chara said.
Frisk looked at her's before she blinked, "I'm up against someone named Riley Akaba."
Asriel looked over. "Yeah, and you're in the first match Frisk."
"But Akaba... is Riley a relative of Declan?" Frisk asked at that.
"Probably, but I know you can beat Riley." Yuya smiled. "You're amazing Frisk."
Frisk smiled kissing Yuya.
Soon the first matches were up before eventually getting to Frisk against Riley.
"Frisk wait a second before you go out there." Yuya mentioned taking her hand.
Frisk turned to him confused. He smiled before giving her a small kiss. "For luck."
Frisk smiled back, "Thanks Yuya."
She walked down arriving at the field where she sees a boy that has on a gray hoodie with blueish gray hair visible, and having on a yellow, and blue striped shirt, with gray shorts, and having on big gray sneakers.
"Let's have fun." Frisk smiled to the boy in front of her.
The boy, Riley, softly nodded preparing before Nico called, "Alright then, let's activate the field spell, Mt. Ebott!"
That caught the monsters, and You Show's attention
"Wait what did he say?" Chara questioned in shock.
"Mt. Ebott?" Frisk repeated in disbelief.
"Augmented Reality Combat System Energized. Generating Action Field."
The two kids watched around as they appear in a Mountain like setting around them.

"Sir, I don't understand." Claude said to him confused.
"She was one of the only children that returned from Mt. Ebott, and has cards based on her experience. She also gets stronger with Pendulum, so I figured this field would be a good start for her." Declan answered.
Frisk looked around shocked, and amazed before she smiled, "Home advantage."
"Then do you want to go first?" Riley asked quietly.
"Sure." Frisk smiled as they readied.
"DUEL!"

"Okay let's do this." Frisk grinned before running off looking at her hand. She waved over to Riley calling, "Follow me!"
Riley just watched her. Finding a hole Frisk jumped in smiling.
"Huh?" Riley asked in confusion seeing that as a screen appeared showing Frisk. "What are you doing?"
"Come on over." Frisk gestured over with a smile, "We're taking our match to the Underground!"
Hearing that Riley glanced up only to notice Henrietta glare before giving a short nod before he slowly followed Frisk into the Underground as screens appeared showing everyone the duel.
Then the field transformed when Frisk called, "And with that, I use the Field Spell, Underground Ruins!"
At that the field around them ripped, and formed into something new where Frisk, and Riley are seen for real in a purple landscape with brick areas, and a house behind Frisk.

What rose from the Overlay Network was this time a humanoid warrior. This warrior has long purple tail with a ponytail over his shoulder while having a Roman Leaf like crown on his head with brown leaves, and a feather while having on a brown leather vest, while having on a black long sleeve shirt underneath with leather brown wristbands. Along with that is a leather like apron on his waist that houses two inventory bags on his sides with two belts on him with a small sword on his right hip that's sheathed right now.

What rose up was a man having brown hair underneath a large white hat that has several red feathers on it, and a large white fur like cotton on it, a scarf that is black, and red diamond with it's two ends on his back, a white suit that also has a black outer shirt that is short sleeved, and opened at the torso while having green gloves that only covers one half of his middle fingers with a design on the top of the hands alongside gray, and black vertical striped pants a duffel bag on his hip with the strap over his shoulder with a blue cloth over his waist, and a red sash around his waist as well. What he was holding was his weapon which is a gold, and red fancy like guitar that's old modeled with it's strips top, and bottom made of ethereal energy with a add on of a long, large blade at the bottom that's also curved.

Frisk's eyes widened in shock as her monster vanished.
"This is really bad." Asriel mentioned nervously.
"Yeah, and it doesn't look like Riley's done yet." Yuya agreed as he nervously watched his girlfriend's duel.
"Now, I play the Ritual Spell Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss." Riley mentioned. "Normally, I would need to sacrifice monsters from my hand or field who's level equal six, but by banishing Djinn Demolisher of Rituals, and Djinn Releaser of Rituals from my graveyard they count as the sacrifices instead."
Two more fiends appeared before being sacrificed.
"Demon Lord of the Forbidden Contracts! I beg thee of you to write your ancient writings to the Dark Contracts, and emerge to lend me your power! Ritual Summon! Level 6, Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss!"
What rose up slowly with his arms crossed around his body this time was a true demonic monster. This demon has several eyes with long horns, and large demonic wings. It also houses large blue plated armor shaped as a bat with it's abdomen exposed with teeth on it's belt, and the bottom of it's armor shaping as a gaping jaw with a skull at the groin area. Along with that is black plated armored leggings with a chained yellow fancy tarp on it's waist, and a long tail that is a Dragonic demon with no limbs but having horn. It's weapons are two large blue bladed demonic scimitars similar to Skyrim's Daedra Swords with a glowing blue gem. Summoned it uncrossed his arms roaring letting everyone know it's dangerous.

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss". Must be Ritual Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can send 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; until the end of this turn, that target loses ATK and DEF equal to the ATK and DEF of the "Burning Abyss" monster sent to the Graveyard this way. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 card on the field; send it to the Graveyard.
Frisk's eyes widened in awe seeing the Synchro, Xyz, and Ritual monsters all on the field at the same time.
"Finally, by sending a Burning Abyss card in my hand to the graveyard, like my Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss Virgil returns a card on your field to your deck."
"Oh no, Frisk!" Yuya panicked seeing that as one of Frisk's set cards disappeared.
"Virgil attack her directly!"
Frisk ran to find an Action Card but was struck before she could activate one.

Despite taking damage Frisk rolled as she activated her set card. "I play Damage Condenser, since I took damage by discarding a card I can summon a monster with attack equal to or less than the damage I took."

"No you don't, the effect Djinn Releaser of Rituals gave Malacoda means you can't Special Summon." Riley told her.
Frisk widen her eyes as Damage Condenser does no effect.
"Now... Dante, attack Frisk directly." Riley called.
Dante charged for the final blow as Frisk ran off. Riley just watched knowing the duel was over. Frisk soon grabbed the card, and when the attack struck Malacoda suddenly turned attacking Riley.
"What? That's impossible, Djinn Demolisher of Rituals means you can't target Malacoda." Riley pointed out.
"This doesn't target."
Confused Riley looked seeing Frisk activated an Action Spell. A Unique one.

"That was way too close." Allie admitted. "Frisk almost lost."
"Yeah but... what happens now?" Asriel asked in confusion.
Frisk sighed wiping her head, "Phew, that was close. After all the work, and dedication, I had to make it here, I would hate to lose it."
Riley meanwhile looked absolutely horrified before timidly walking to get his bear from Nico as he walked off the field shaking slightly. Frisk looked confused seeing that before Nico announced, "Well uh... okay Duel Fans well... I really don't know what to say about this."
Ulrich362: Well then, a DRAW. Quite the way to start the Arc-League wouldn't you agree Bopdog?
bopdog111: Yeah. Riley, and Frisk's places are now to be debated.
Ulrich362: True, and I have a bad feeling for both of them. That said, next up Julia vs Zuzu?
bopdog111: Asriel's girlfriend is gonna avenge him against Julia. Will she succeed?
