Silverwhisper is an old spirit cat who resides in the Dark Forest. One night he meets up again with a Riverclan warrior who he has been helping in his ambition to rule his clan. He is good with words, while the living cat is not. His advice should prove useful to the ambitious cat, who often thinks with claws first, head second.

A cat seeks to overthrow Riverclan's leaders, while another is torn between loyalty and a dark legacy. After two cats are killed, a prophecy reveals that peace can only come through bloodshed, testing loyalties and shaping an uncertain fate. *I do not own the cover art*

The Windclan dispute has been dwelt with, and Onewhisker has now become Onestar. However the danger hasn't been dispelled yet. A dangerous predator driven out of their homes threatens the unready clans, while forbidden love blossoms casting a dark shadow on the future of one of the clans survival.

The clans settle into their new home, establishing territories and searching for a replacement for the Moonstone. Crowfeather and Flamepaw, who seek to aid all clans, become entangled in a brewing conflict. They soon realize that the dangers within Windclan—and possibly elsewhere—might be worse than those they left behind.

The four surviving cats return home to find the forest in ruins—Fourtrees destroyed, many cats dead or missing, and only Riverclan stable. Lilacshimmer, now with her friends, must rally the shattered clans to follow a dying warrior's sign to a promised territory, even though the sign isn't what they expected.

Featherstream and her friends race to save their clans from a looming threat. Instead of returning through Twolegplace, they must cross treacherous mountains, where Featherstream feels an inexplicable pull. Their journey is halted by a mysterious group of mountain cats with a prophecy of their own, with Featherstream at its center.

Bloodclan suffers. In the aftermath of Scourge's unexpected defeat, the clan from twoleg-place is left without leadership. Several cats step forth, each claiming the right to lead the clan, breaking it into opposing factions in the process. Meanwhile in Thunderclan, a warrior with a broken heart and shattered confidence tries to regain what he perceives as lost.

The four clans in the forest are at a time of peace, when Crowpaw is called to travel with three other cats to listen to midnight. They must learn from it of a mysterious danger that threatens the peace the clans have. Others look at her, but all they see is a younger version of her father. She is attacked by a fox and is found near death by a ThunderClan patrol, Starlingpaw wakes up finding it hard to trust other cats again.
