The defeat was an embarrassment to Yorinobu Arasaka. He was never fond of his father's company or the schemes his father put forth for world domination. However, with himself in charge he could put forth his own plans. Plans that could easily be dashed should this Enclave wish him dead. After capturing him and the entire night city board, they were brought to their oil rig in the middle of the Pacific. How no one knew its location was a mystery to him. Thankfully they were unable to capture his sister however with him gone it just leaves Hanako and Michiko to fight for control over the company. At the moment all of that is irrelevant as a soldier in a mechanical suit has just forced him to his knees, as it appears they are waiting for someone. It's not long for Yorinobu's suspicions to be proven correct as a older man in a suit escorted with his own personal security comes from somewhere and over to where they are.
"Ok, which one is Yorinobu Arasaka and please stand up." The elderly man says.
Yorinobu does so and says. "That would be me."
"Come with me to my office." The older man says.
He's pushed by the mechanically armored soldier behind him to urge him to start moving with the older man and his security detail. Yorinobu looking around the place especially isn't really surprised that it's what you would expect an oil rig that was repurposed into a military base to look like. Eventually they reach the man's office and Yorinobu is made to take a seat across from the older man.
"My name is President Dick Richardson, President of the United States and Leader of the Enclave. I want to discuss Arasaka's unconditional withdrawal from not just Night City but from all of North and South America."
"It will take time but that is something I can easily agree to at this point. Unlike my father Mr. President, I don't have plans for world conquest. However, my Sister and Niece may have other plans and in the future I may require your support in dealing with them." Yorinobu responds.
"We can talk about that sometime in the future as we negotiate who gets what in the Pacific as to avoid stepping on each other's toes."
"That is something I can work with. As of this moment, any assets belonging to Arasaka that I cannot easily withdraw legally belongs to the Enclave. Night City is also yours for the taking. I will also make a public statement recognizing your government as the legitimate government of the United States."
"This is acceptable." They then both shake hands.
