Ulrich362: The Mace of Molag Bal, Volendrung, and Spellbreaker... but now a fourth Daedric Artifact will be obtained by the Wolf Empire.
bopdog111: By the Daedra Prince that almost destroyed Tamriel.
Ulrich362: True, Mehrunes Dagon himself. What kind of task will he have for Noel?
bopdog111: We will see here.
Ulrich362: Agreed, enjoy the chapter.

Noel walked in the village of Dawnstar looking around at the town with a small smile. This is the same time that has two Daedra Quests, the one with Mehrunes' Razor, and Vermina's Skull of Corruption. But the Skull of Corruption is for another time, right now he's here for the Razor. As he's approaching the needed place he sees a female mage was arguing with a young man with banters of a rising sun with a crimson background.
"Your ancestors wouldn't want this Silus!" the mage told the young man.
"Why should I hide from it? This is my family's legacy!" the young man, Silus, argued.
"It's the past! Dead oaths on dead lips. Let it stay there." the mage pointed out.
"The museum is opening, Madena." Silus told her before Madena turned and walked off past Noel.
Noel watched as she walked off before turning back approaching Silus.
"And here comes my first visitor. The Museum of the Mythic Dawn is open, friend." Silus smiled warmly.
"What was that argument about?" Noel asked him going through the script intended.
Silus frowned at that. "Never mind that. Madena is a good woman, but I have my own reasons for opening this museum, and I'm not changing my mind. I have a collection of artifacts from the group that toppled an Empire. Their importance to history cannot be forgotten."
Suddenly he smiled. "Why don't you come in? You can browse the displays, and we can talk. I have a job you look perfect for."
Noel nodded walking in with Silus looking around seeing more of the banters, and four display cases.
"Feel free to browse the displays, when you're ready to talk business just let me know." Silus mentioned calmly.
Noel nodded looking at the banters as Silus explained, "The tapestries here and outside were found in hideouts where members of the Mythic Dawn would meet and plot. The cult's greatest accomplishment was the assassination of the Septim Dynasty and the opening of the Oblivion Gates."
Noel nodded looking around before noticing something walking over, and looked seeing what seems like a scabbard to a demonic dagger. It was part of the very thing he is looking for, Mehrunes' Razor. He knows it had been broken up but doesn't know why, but still he has to repair, and get it for his Empire to be strong. So he turned to Silus asking him, "What's this?"
"Ah, yes. That scabbard. Notice the insignia? An Oblivion Gate. A key symbol of Mehrunes Dagon, the patron Daedra of the Mythic Dawn." Silus answered.
Noel nodded turning back at the scabbard recognizing the symbol. Still to act like he's interested in the museum (and get the dialogue he decided not to get when he did this quest), he looked around seeing the robes before asking Silus, "These robes... these look like the ones you have on."
"Those robes were worn during the Mythic Dawn's secret meetings, where they plotted to bring the Daedra Mehrunes Dagon into Tamriel. Each bolt of yarn used to make the robe was colored with a dye made from sacrificial blood." Silus explained.
That made Noel winced on the inside, and he nodded to them. Noticing a paper he walked before gasping, "Is this... the Mysterium Xarxes?"
"You're familiar with the book?" Silus inquired. "Yes, that's all that remains of the book Mankar Cameron is said to have used to open the portal to paradise."
Noel wondered how exactly it went into this kind of state but might've happened from being used at Mankar Cameron's death. So he noticed the last display looking at it before he then said, "The Commentaries of the Mythic Dawn written by Mankar Cameron."
"Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes actually. Mankar Cameron promised a paradise awaited his followers when they died, that they would be reborn by Mehrunes Dagon's side." Silus nodded.
"And also as entry ways to be included into the Mythic Dawn. You need to get the full set to be a full-fledged member of that group where the last will be given by a member." Noel added.
"You've done your research." Silus nodded. "I knew there was something special about you."
He turned over to Silus before saying, "Well I know more. I also know what kind of job you want me for. You want me to find the pieces of Mehrunes' Razor, don't ya?"
"That... how did you know that?" Silus asked in shock.
"My dear man, I know a lot of things here." Noel grinned turning to him before saying, "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Noel, and I am the Emperor of an Empire, that I am building to make strong. It will also include the blessings of the Daedra, all of them, including Mehrunes Dagon."
He then said to him, "I came here personally for the Razor cause your fate involving repairing it will end in darkness but I know a way how to escape from that. Come join my Empire, Silus, and not only will you spread the Mythic Dawn's influence, and give them what you want them to have, you will also join us in a great cause. I also know it wasn't the Altmer Elves that ended the Oblivion Crisis, and I know they will destroy both you, and this Museum when their involvement in history can't be denied be it ill, or a good cause."
With that said he offered his hand to Silus, "So here's my offer. If you join me, and give me Mehrunes' Razor, not only will I rescue you from your fate, you will also be a part of an Empire that will set Tamirel free from the Thalmor, and be the most important one to worship Mehrunes Dagon's name."
Silus looked stunned hearing that. "You're serious aren't you?"
"If I was lying, why would I be saying stuff like this? Or maybe you want proof."
Noel used his other hand to pull out the Mace of Molag Baal showing it to Silus, "So far we have the Lord of Domination's name with us, along with us currently getting the Prince of Oaths, the Prince of Diseases, and the Prince of Destruction's own name with us. If we have all their favors, we will be able to fight the Thalmor, and free Tamirel from them. What I am offering you is a really big offer."
Silus looked absolutely stunned seeing that. "I... alright, I accept your offer."
Noel nodded as they shook hands, "Then it's agreed. So do you know where the pieces of the Razor are?"
"I do." Silus nodded handing Noel a note. "Here, this is what I know about the current owners of the pieces."
Noel takes them before nodding with a smile saying to Silus, "I'll be back."
Silus nodded. "Of course... my emperor."
With that Noel walked off.
A few hours later...
Noel had gotten the two pieces that belonged in the marauder's hands. He tried to offer them a place in his Empire but they refused, and tried to kill him which he killed them, and offered the survivors a place which they hesitantly agreed feeling scared so he told them to head to Markarth, and involve the guards that he invited them there.
That leaves us with him getting the last piece which is the easiest to get in Morthal. He went to the mill before calling, "Jorgen! Jorgen!"
A man looked over only to sigh. "I just want to be left alone to do my job, and to enjoy what little free time I have when I have it."
Looking over seeing him Noel get straight to the point, "Okay sir, I'm here for the Hilt of Mehrunes' Razor."
"Don't know what you're talking about, stranger." the man told him.
"Don't try to deny that, Silus mentioned to me you have that Hilt as the current descendent." Noel said to him.
"I've heard of him. My father had suspicions about his connection to the Mythic Dawn. Guess they were true. I don't need this. My family wasted 8 generations keeping that Razor safe from a dead cult. As far as I care, it can stay locked in my house." the man told Noel.
"Well, what if I tell you that I'm the Emperor to a new Empire Building that'll do a better job then your Jarl at what she's doing about what's going on in this world?" Noel asked him.
"An Emperor?" the man questioned before sighing. "You want the hilt that bad? Fine. Here's the keys. It's locked in a chest inside my house."
Noel takes the keys before saying, "Head to Markarth if your interested in milling there, if the Jarl's making you uncomfortable."
He walked in the house taking the Razor's Hilt with a smile before heading out back to Dawnstar entering Silus' Museum.
"What is it? Do you have one of the Razor fragments?" Silus asked.
Noel only grinned handing him a bag, "Better. All of them."
"All at once! You're efficient. I like that. Here's your reward." Silus smiled handing Noel a large sack of gold. "Finally, all the pieces of Mehrunes' Razor are in my hands. It's time I let you in on something. There's a fourth piece. That scabbard in the display case. Built to house the Razor. And there's more. I know how to put all the pieces together. We just need to take them to Dagon's shrine and contact the Lord of Change directly. I can lead you there."
"Okay. That was where you path ends in darkness, but I will make sure that won't happen, and we have the Razor. Go head there, I'll join you soon. I have some business here in Dawnstar I want to do first." Noel told him.
"Of course, I'll await your arrival." Silus mentioned taking the pieces of Mehrunes' Razor and walking out of the museum.
With that done Noel walked down further where he sees a door with a skull, and handprint on it. He smiled seeing it was the door of the assassin group, the Dark Brotherhood. The reason why he's here it's case for 1, he wants to see if Cicero, a Dark Brotherhood Jester that sticks to the original rules is there or not, and 2, to view a Sanctuary of the Dark Brotherhood himself.
With that said he walked over before giving a few knocks on the door.
"What is life's greatest illusion?"
Noel was a little surprised from hearing the door's voice himself but calmed down, and replied with confidence, "Innocence, my brother."
"Welcome home."
The door opened as Noel walked in closing the door walking down, and around seeing the bars that were there are lowered which would mean either Cicero left them down to have better access, or he wasn't expecting company. Either way he looked around the Sanctuary before he called, "Hello? Is anyone home?"
There was no answer.
"Guess he's not here yet." Noel shrugged before taking out a note placing it for Cicero to find.
He turned around to leave as the camera turned to the note as it read,
Dear Cicero.
You had been using this Sanctuary to restore the reputation the Dark Brotherhood has. Well, I have the same feeling, their place in history cannot be denied. Despite them being so few now, they still have a place here in Tamriel, but with the Thalmor it's only a matter of time before they become extinct.
So what I offer you, Cicero, is a place in my Empire. In the city of Markarth, come look for someone called Nepos the Nose, and say, "Indulgence, my brother." He'll know what it means. I hope we can discuss this soon because I have a contract for the Dark Brotherhood, and wish to discuss this to someone who keeps up the Dark Brotherhood's rules.
Signed,
Noel.
With Noel...
The young man just arrived at the Shrine where Silus is waiting.
"I've been waiting for you my emperor." Silus smiled. "Are you ready to speak with Lord Dagon?"
"More then ready." Noel nodded with a smile.
Silus smiled. "I understand, I'll place the pieces on the altar, and Dagon should speak to us. Let me put the pieces on the altar. We'll see if Mehrunes Dagon can still be reached." He places the pieces before chanting, "Mehrunes Dagon, the Lord of Change, we have brought your Razor to you. We beg you, please bring the blade's full glory to Tamriel again!"
After a few moments nothing happened.
"It's not working. Why don't you give it a try? Just put your hands on the altar. Maybe Mehrunes Dagon will speak to you."
Noel walked over before placing his hands on the altar closing his eyes.
"So the wolf comes to me next." stated a voice into his mind. "I know of you mortal and what you're trying to do."
'Then, I don't need to tell you all about the details Lord Dagon.' Noel said in his mind to the Daedra Prince not opening his eyes, 'What I simply ask for you in place of Silus' Life is something better in return for restoring your Razor back to normal.'
"Oh, and what do you have to offer me?" Dagon questioned.
'My own life. I simply ask, that as long as I live, me, and my Empire will have your favor for our struggle against the Thalmor. We will have all of your brethren's favor against them, and in exchange I offer you my own life should I die from this mortal realm. I don't care what you, and your brethren have in planned for me should I die, but all I ask in return for your Razor, is to give us all your favor, and leave all the others that are in my own name alone.' Noel answered in his mind putting his own health on the line opposed to the others.
There was a brief silence after he said that before he heard laughter.
"Very well mortal, I was going to demand you kill Silus but I can accept these terms of yours."
'Thank you, Lord Dagon. You, and your brethren will not regret this.' Noel said to him from his mind.
"I don't doubt that, if nothing else you're rather entertaining to observe little wolf." Dagon told him as the pieces of the dagger began to reform. "Of course, I can't let you have this completely for free."
At that the door to the shrine opened as two Daedra emerged ready to attack him and Silus.
"Prove you deserve it."
Noel shot his eyes open moving quick pulling out Molag Bal's mace, and his Forsworn Sword calling, "Silus, help me fight these two off!"
Silus looked nervous but prepared to fight. The Daedra moved swinging their weapons against them but Noel blocks a bit while striking back against them while Silus fired magic at the two. The Daedra are tough fighters but Noel is strong thanks to his training with Potema, and attacked them back as best as he could while Silus does his best to attack with magic. Soon no longer holding back be was in front of them before smirking to the two, "Bye-Bye... FUS RO DA!"
Using the Unrelenting Force shout he pushed them off the shrine falling to their deaths.
"That... that was incredible." Silus whispered in awe.
"Very interesting, my razor is yours mortal." Dagon told Noel.
They turned to the altar to see the Razor is fully restored as Noel walked slowly reaching before then grabbing it smiling as he stares at it, "Feels different, to hold the Razor of Mehrunes Dagon..." He turned to Silus, "Well Silus come with me back to Markarth."
"Of course, oh... I should close the museum first shouldn't I?" Silus asked him.
"Not to worry. Before I left Dawnstar, I placed a note saying the owner will be away at Markarth, I also locked the door." Noel assured with a smile.
Silus blinked before nodding. "Then, I'll follow you to Markarth."
With that they walked back to Markarth.
Upon arriving Noel make his way to the Understone Keep before asking a Forsworn Guard, "Did Madanach, and Borkul return?"
"They arrived just now, though Borkul wasn't alone." the guard answered.
Noel nodded with a smile, "Then Volendrung, and Spellbreaker are now with us."
They walked forward into the keep where they see Madanach holding Spellbreaker, and Borkul having Volendrung on his back with Atub beside him talking before they noticed him, and Silus.
"I trust, you two were successful getting both Lord Malacath, and Lord Perytite's artifacts?" Noel asked them with a smile.
"Of course, it was surprisingly simple to get this hammer." Borkul answered.
"I wish the same could be said for the Spellbreaker, lives were lost getting it." Madanach told him solemnly.
"Their sacrifices won't be in vain for this. They gave their lives for us to defend the Reach, and rid Tamirel of Elven Supremacy." Noel assured Madanach before saying looking at Atub, "That said, I see you brought a resident from Largashbur here Borkul. It's good to meet you miss, I am to assume that Borkul brought you here so we have an alliance?"
"Yes. And you are this Emperor he told me about. At first, I wouldn't believe a child would do such a thing but judging from those two weapons on you, my doubts are swept away." Atub said staring at the Mace of Molag Bal, and Mehrunes' Razor. She then turned to Silus before saying, "And you must be Mehrunes Dagon's leading worshipper of the Mythic Dawn, am I correct?"
"That's correct, well I own a museum dedicated to them in Dawnstar." Silus nodded.
"I am Lord Malacath's worshipper, Atub." Atub introduced herself to him.
Before they can discuss more, a Forsworn walked in saying, "My lord, you have an important guest here."
They looked over to him before Noel asked, "An important guest? Is it an Imperial Legionnaire, a Stormcloak Soldier, or a jester?"
"It's neither sir. It's a Breton Mage by the name of Sam Guevenne."
Upon hearing that Noel's eyes snapped widen in shock. He instantly ordered the Forsworn, "Send him in, immediately."
"Sir." the guard nodded.
"A mage, what's so special about him?" Borkul questioned.
Noel stayed silent.
Soon the guard walked in with a Breton Mage wearing a black robe, as he grinned to Noel bowing slightly, "Well, your this little Emperor, I heard about. It's an honor to meet you."
Noel walked over as the Forsworn, Silus, and Atub watched at what he's about to do. They, and Sam were stunned by what Noel does next:
He bows on a knee down to the mage in front of him.
"Kneeling to a lowly mage, isn't this a surprise." Sam chuckled.
"Everyone! Bow to the Daedric Lord of Debauchery, Sanguine!" Noel ordered everyone otherside Sam, "He graces us with his presence here!"
As they bowed Sam shrugged.
"So you saw through my disguise, mind sharing how you pulled off that little trick?" Sanquine asked as he assumed his Daedric form.
"I been in Coldharbour for a while, I figured out that Daedra uses illusions, and deception to trick others." Noel explained to him.
"I see, well why don't we find somewhere to sit for a while. We can talk over drinks." Sanguine mentioned. "You are old enough to drink aren't you?"
"No, and I don't intend too." Noel answered standing up before turning to Borkul, and Madanach, "Me, and Lord Sanguine will have a chat, you two will guard the door, and inform me of anything that pops up, and needs my attention."
The two of them nodded at that.
Ulrich362: The Wolf Empire is getting more and more Daedric artifacts... though Noel does have some... extra knowledge regarding them.
bopdog111: Yeah, and now Sanguine has appeared in Markarth. But why?
Ulrich362: To talk with the Wolf Emperor about something, though that's for next time. See you in the next chapter.
bopdog111: Be sure to review!
