A/N: I said I would make it up to everyone for the New Year's special, well here it is. A Valentine's Day special. Remember, all of this is non-canon save for a few things.

I should also note that none of these are in chronological order. Everything is happening at different times, so please do not get confused about anything 'time' related cause it will just mess with your head.

By the way, the last two, X-23 and Hatsume, have a mystery pair.

I am sorry this is short. I had planned it to be longer, but school got in the way like usual (I hate College Calculus), and I did not want to post this after Valentine's Day.

Anyways, here it is.

In an Alternative Future…

In the distance future, the students of U.A have found themselves living within the school grounds at U.A Heights. They had celebrated holidays at these grounds such as Thanksgiving (Peter's idea even though it has no relevance in Japan), Christmas, and New Year's. Now, another holiday has been bestowed upon the classes. The holiday of love, Valentine's Day.

Everyone had already left the dorms and were off doing their own business whether it was with family, their respective partner, or just a friend. With that being stated, let's look at how some are spending their day.

Peter and Tsu

Peter and Tsu, probably the most well-known couple throughout the first years, were spending their time in a rather interesting area. Peter took Tsu to a river where wildlife thrived peacefully. It was a public area, but not many seemed to know about it as it was one hour away from Musutafu in the middle of a forest.

"How…How did you know about this place?" Tsu asked Peter in amazement as she was taking the whole scenery in.

It was a gorgeous forest. The forest had oak-brown and primitive trees, their knotted arms rose to grow upwards, as far as their heads could lift. They were hoary fortresses and proudly stood. The birds chirped freely without a care in the world, and many of them drifted across our vision in a flash. Wild basil was seen growing freely on the clumpy, mossy mattress of the floor. The simpering wind carried a fragrance with it. It was refreshing to smell the mulchy mix of the forest's perfume rather than the gaseous, toxic smog the city was coated in. The spring clean river gently flowed downstream with ease, and not stopping for any rocks that were in its waters.

Peter pointed to a particular creature that was on a tree, "Look, your family is here too."

Tsu looked up and saw a family of frogs was looking down at them. Hallowell's Tree Frogs. "Kero."

"Ribbit." One of the frogs replied.

Peter looked at Tsu then back at the frog family. "You speak frog?"

Tsu looked at him with a deadpan face, "I'm a frog, Peter."

"What did you tell them?" Peter asked.

"'Good day.' They replied with, 'Hello.'" Tsu answered.

This got Peter thinking, "I never spoke to spiders. Maybe I should try that someday and see if that works."

Tsu shivered slightly, "I hope it fails. I know you would prank all of us and scare us all." Tsu was not ready to see a horde of spiders in the dorms at all.

Peter grinned slightly, "I hope it works now." Peter chuckled and took Tsu's hand. They walked down the stream to take everything in. Peter knew he succeeded today because Tsu seemed to be enjoying herself from the way her croaking sounded very pleased, and how she was attached to him happily.

Deku and Uraraka

Deku was a nervous wreck. Sure this may the third time they have gone out, and yes, it did take a long time for either one of them to make a move, and yes, the other two dates were fantastic. But this one was different. It was Valentine's Day. A day he can not mess up. It is a very special day, and Deku really wants Uraraka to enjoy this day. A lot of timing and planning went into this, but now that is time to execute the plan, all of Deku's confidence were shot.

"Oh man, I hope I don't mess up. So much time went into today. Uraraka and I have been planning for this for a while now, but now that is finally here, I have no idea how to calm myself. Sure the past two dates were fine despite my panic attacks, but today is different! I have a legit excuse to be nervous!" Deku was talking to himself outside of the restaurant him and Uraraka planned to meet at. It was a nice diner, nothing fancy nor cheap. Just a nice dinner date and maybe some ice cream later in the park. Peter had recommended this restaurant to them when he overheard the new couple talking about their plans.

Deku had shown up in casual clothing per request by Uraraka. In her words, 'I don't want my daddy to get too suspicious if I am going out dressed like I am on a date, so we can dress casually.' So Deku did just that. He came in jeans, a black sweater, an All Might shirt, and his usual red boots.

"Uraraka is right, though. It is just a date. There is nothing to be worried about. We'll be fine. I'll be fine. I'll be…" Deku turned and saw Uraraka walking towards him. She wore a pink jacket, a white shirt, jeans, and regular running shoes. "Oh boy…" Deku smiled weakly as he walked towards his girlfriend. "H-Hey Uraraka."

Uraraka smiled happily, "Hey Deku!" She hugged the boy tightly as he hugged her back. "How are you doing?"

"I am doing fine. How about you?"

"Great!" Uraraka pulled back and suddenly frowned a little. "Why are you sweating?"

Deku stiffened a bit, "Uhhh….it's hot?"

"It's 19C (67F) degrees outside. That's pretty cold, Deku." Uraraka crossed her arms, "What's bugging you?"

Deku sighed in defeat, "You read me like a booklike how Tsu reads Peter. It's kinda annoying."

Uraraka smiled lightly, "It's just something I have. Now, are you gonna tell me?"

"I just feel like I am going to mess this up somehow. I know the last two dates were great, but this is different to me. It's Valentine's Day, and I want to make this one something to remember. I don't want it to just be average; it has to be special. But I'm afraid is that what will make it special is because of something going wrong…" Deku admitted.

Uraraka giggled and kissed Deku on the cheek, causing the green-haired child to flush deep red, a sight that never gets old to Uraraka. "Awwwww, it's okay Deku. Honestly, it is special." Uraraka pressed the tips of her fingers together a bit shyly, "It's the first Valentine's Day I am spending with a boy rather than with my mommy and daddy. And because…It's with you." Uraraka smiled with a blush.

Deku couldn't help but smile back despite his reddening face. "T-T-T-That's very sweet of you to say, Uraraka." Deku shakily kissed Uraraka back on her cheek as he was still getting used to the physical aspects of a relationship.

Uraraka took Deku's hand and intertwined her fingers with his. "Today will be great Deku. Just have faith in it." Deku nodded his head and both of them entered the restaurant together.

Kaminari and Jiro

"Seriously? This is where you are taking me." Jiro asked Kaminari.

"Yup!" Kaminari responded gleefully, "It is perfect!"

The place Kaminari took Jiro was to the local carnival. Though Jiro had to admit that she was content with attending the carnival, she knew exactly why he specifically brought her here. "Please tell me we are not getting on that stupid Tunnel of Love?"

"Ew no. Not there." Kaminari looked a bit disgusted, "I hate those."

"Oh thank god." Jiro let out a sigh of relief.

"We're doing the Ferris Wheel!" Kaminari yelled loudly, not noticing the pale expression on Jiro's face.

"The…what?" Jiro suddenly was okay with the Tunnel of Love now.

"The Ferris Wheel, babe. We're getting on that." Kaminari repeated himself. Before he could get drag Jiro towards the line, Jiro spoke up.

"Uhhh…let's save that for later. How about we just have fun at the Carnival for a bit, then we do that?" Jiro asked with a slightly nervous tone.

Kaminari looked at Jiro for a moment and smiled, "Sure! All the more fun then!" Kaminari was really happy today. Jiro was glad for that given that Kaminari was having a hard time getting over his misdeeds to the girls and was usually sulking in self-pity. Ever since Jiro managed to help him make amends with everyone, the two became great friends and somehow started dating soon after.

"Oooh let's try this!" Kaminari pointed to a stall that was named, 'Balloon-Dart Game'. The game was self-explanatory. There were many prizes up for grabs such as stuffed bears and dogs.

"Hello, folks! Wanna test your aim? See if you can win the bigger prizes above?" The stall manager spoke as the couple approached him. "Three darts, for ¥329 ($3)." Kaminari gave the man the yen as he gave him three darts. "To earn a big prize, you must hit three small balloons. If you hit at least one big balloon, well, you qualify for a medium-sized prize. You hit two or three big balloons, you get a small prize. Throw whenever you are ready."

"I got this in the bag," Kaminari stated and threw the dart directly at a big balloon.

"You're right, Kaminari. You do have this in a bag. The bag of failure." Jiro snickered as the stall manager chuckled a little

"Whatever." Kaminari then threw his two remaining darts at big balloons.

"You didn't win big, but not small either." The manager said, "Now, pick your prize."

Kaminari looked towards Jiro, "Go ahead, pick one." Jiro selected a blue stuffed dog with a black spot over the left eye of it. She found that to be the cutest of them all. They bid farewell to the manager and walked around more.

Both got on rides such as a musical express, funhouse, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, and had eaten carnival food as well. At one point, Jiro dared Kaminari to eat a cockroach that a vendor was selling. Kaminari was in the restroom for about ten minutes after he had forced the bug down his throat.

The day was fun for both people, but now, the carnival was coming to an end and the last call for riders for the Ferris Wheel was announced.

"Come on Jiro; I want to get on it now," Kaminari said as they were walking to it.

Jiro was building up anxiety as she was drawing near the big circle. It wasn't the ride that she was afraid of, it was the height of it. Jiro was never a fan of heights, in fact; she was terrified of them. It is why she avoids anything that will take her too high up.

When they were about to enter the line, Jiro froze in place. Kaminari looked back her confused, "Jiro?"

"I….I…." Jiro had stuttered before she threw her hands at her face to cover it, "I can't!" Jiro shrunk and backed away in fear.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Kaminari asked as run over to Jiro and placed his hands on shoulders.

"I'm terrified of heights! Okay, I'm sorry, but I just can't! I can't handle heights! I get anxiety and…" Jiro sighed and looked down, "It's stupid I know. I wanna be a hero, but I can't even handle something as childish as heights."

Kaminari looked down at Jiro for a second and smiled a little, "Hey, it's okay. It's not stupid. Look, we don't have to get on it if you are not comfortable. I want us to enjoy the day, not just me." At that moment, Kaminari had an idea. "Say, follow me." Kaminari grabbed Jiro's wrist and pulled her away from the Ferris Wheel.

"H-Hey! Where are we going?" Jiro asked as she held onto her stuffed dog tightly.

The two were now out of the Carnival and a hillside together. The place was not empty as there were other couples around, but not many either. It was a great hillside to get a beautiful look at the stars above. "I wanted to be able to do something cheesy with you, that's why I wanted to do the Ferris Wheel thing. But…this is better. You're comfortable, and honestly, I just want you happy today."

Jiro and Kaminari were laying next to one another on the soft green grass with Jiro having her stuffed dog over her chest. "Thanks. And…you're a dork. You love these cheesy things, don't you?" Jiro looked over to Kaminari, and the latter chuckled childishly.

"Yup! But you love that about me."

"Hmph. Whatever." Jiro said as the two held each other's hands as shooting stars suddenly appeared.

Mina and Nightcrawler

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"YES!"

"NO!"

"Why not?!"

"I'm just pissing you off for fun."

"Why you….!"

Mina chased Nightcrawler around the living room as the blue demon laughed. Mina jumped towards him, but Nightcrawler vanished and Mina ended up sliding on the ground. "Get out here, Kurt!" Mina yelled out.

"Okay." Nightcrawler appeared over her and picked Mina up. "You slid pretty far, are you okay, though?"

Mina took Kurt's hands off of her and looked away, "No thanks to you, you big meanie." She stuck her tongue out at Kurt as the former laughed at her actions.

"You would do the same to me," Kurt responded.

Mina then smiled, "You're right. I would." Mina then gave Kurt a big kiss on the lips and held it for a couple of seconds before breaking it off.

Kurt smiled back and wrapped his tail around the pink alien's waist. "So, what should we do for today?"

"Hmmm…" Mina threw herself at Kurt as he caught her in his arms, "Let's go watch a movie, then do karaoke and dancing!"

"Isn't that what I just said 'no' too?" Nightcrawler asked as Mina then made puppy eyes at him. Kurt tried to resist, but gave in and sighed, "Fine…"

"Yay!" Mina hugged him tightly. Kurt hugged back and chuckled lightly, "I knew you see things my way."

"Yes. Because the Bamfs taught you how to perfect puppy-eyes, Mina." Nightcrawler said.

Mina pulled back and looked at Kurt happily, "Yup! Arno, Bardo, Emmo, Fonso, Hanno, Ivo, and Leo all trained me very well."

Nightcrawler laughed as Mina sped through the names, "I still can not believe that you named all of them, and with a form of German descent no less."

"I can't believe you never bothered too! And you call yourself a dad?" Mina laughed as Kurt looked fraught.

"I didn't think of it at the time, plus, some of the other X-Men were naming them!" Kurt said while Mina rolled her eyes.

"Because 'Pickles' and 'Chuckles' are just fabulous names," Mina said sarcastically, "Those are pet names, Kurt." Mina then jabs Kurt in the shoulder, "At least they have a mother who cares about the little things."

"Oh so now you're their mommy now?" Kurt snickered a little, "When was that decided?"

"When I named them since their incompetent father couldn't do it." Mina fired back with a smile.

Kurt was about to protest but knew he had been beaten. "I hate you."

Mina giggled lightly, "I love you too."

Both of them laughed a little together and took the hands of each other, "Alright, meine dame. Lead the way."

"Hold on a sec." Mina then let go of Kurt's hand and whistled as the seven Bamfs appeared around her, "Mama and Daddy are leaving for a bit. No fighting! And no pranking others unless you are going to record it so I can see it later, okay?" The bamfs nodded and all of them pounced Mina as she laughed and hugged all of them.

Kurt watched them all for a moment and smiled warmly. He then joined in the hug, "All of you be good now, and we'll be back soon." The bamfs nodded with smiles and disappeared, leaving the two lovebirds alone.

Nightcrawler got up and helped Mina onto her feet once more, "Ready?" He asked.

Mina nodded and once again took his hand into her hand, "Yup. Let's go, mein schatz."

Deadpool and U.A Staff

U.A Heights had an apartment complex for the staff of U.A to make sure the students were kept in check, or if any emergency occurs, pro heroes would be on the scene immediately. Unfortunately, for almost every staff member, save for one Midnight, that meant sharing a dorm with one of the most unpredictable people to ever exist in all time and space: Deadpool AKA Wade Wilson.

"Ooooooooh boy! It's that time of year again!" Wade yelled out as he was cooking everyone red-colored heart-shaped pancakes. He was not dressed in his costume as everyone accepted him for looking like a walking tumor, and it honestly made the merc happy.

"Shut up, Wilson," Aizawa said as he was brewing his morning coffee.

"Oh come on Aizawa, it's Valentine's Day! The day of love~! And I am expressing mine by cooking all of ya pancakes!" Wade said as he exited out of the kitchen to see that the rest of the staff was in the living room or just getting downstairs, "Breakfast is served!" Deadpool then tossed every plate on the dining table perfectly without breaking any of the plates nor any pancakes falling off.

Everyone walked over and some were pleased, and some laughed a bit. Midnight walked over to Wade and gave him a peck on his cheek, "Well aren't you being sweet today Wade?"

Wade chuckled a little, "Not as sweet as you are going to be tonight~" The staff were used to the comments, but clearly showed some discomfort at the obvious sex joke as they ate.

Midnight, on the other hand, licked her lips, "Just for the sake of my peers, I'll whisper what I think."

Midnight placed her mouth next to Wade's ear and whispered what she was thinking. This caused Deadpool to grin and look at her, "Oh tonight's gonna be fun. Love will flow like a river today."

All Might sighed and looked at the duo, "Could you please not?"

Deadpool rolled his eyes, "Fine anorexia."

Nezu eyed Wade, "Wade! Don't be rude!"

Wade rolled his eyes, "Sorry." He sarcastically said. Midnight and Wade then sat in own chairs and began to eat. "Why thank you, Wade, I appreciate the pancakes. Oh, you are welcome everyone, I sure do love to know I am appreciated."

Cementoss chuckled, "I apologize. Thank you, Wade."

Power Loader grunted, "Thanks."

Aizawa said nothing and kept eating, but then looked around and noticed that other staff were no present, "Where are the others?"

"They already ate and left. You few were the late birds today." Wade replied before getting up and walking back into the kitchen. "With that being said, are any of you guys doing anything, or anyone, special today?"

All of them shrugged somewhat before Nezu spoke up, "I am just going to go enjoy myself at a place I like to visit very much. It helps me relax the stress I carry with me."

Power Loader smirked a little, "Well I have a date at 5:30 today, so I'm feeling good about that."

Cementoss shook his head with a smile, "I'll be on hero duty today. Villains don't rest, and I'd rather see everyone's day be better not getting interrupted by a villain attack."

All Might blushed lightly, "Inko asked me if I wanted to visit her place today, so that is what I am going to do once I am done eating."

Wade looked at all of them, "Well, Power Loader and All Might are the only ones that actually have something planned that is related to V-Day." Wade then looked over to Aizawa, "What about you, scarecrow?"

Aizawa sipped his coffee, "I'm going to meet Emi today."

Everyone nearly choked on their foods and looked towards the ragged hero, "Emi Fukukado?!"

"Who else do I know that is named, 'Emi?'" Aizawa blankly replied.

Midnight grinned at Aizawa. "Well, well, well, it seems you finally gave in and decided to see Emi, Aizawa. And here I thought you would never give it a chance." Midnight said.

Wade came back into the dining room with a grin as well, "Who knows, maybe if you make her laugh too much she'll make you feel special somewhere else. That being your-" Midnight placed her hand over Wade's mouth.

"Not now." Midnight simply said and removed her hand.

"Heart. I was going to say, heart." Wade finished.

Time Skip

Everyone had left the dorms, leaving only Wade and Midnight alone together. The two were watching TV together as Midnight was snuggled up to Wade. "So, what are we watching again?" Midnight asked.

"Only one of the greatest sitcoms to ever air on TV in the history of ever. Friends." Wade said as he saw the confused look on Midnight's face. "You never heard of Friends?!" Wade said in shock as she shook her head. "Why are we dating again?"

Midnight laughed a little, "Because you couldn't stay away from me. And I am one of few people who can match you in terms of innuendos, and I really could care less about how you look and I am willing to look past what you did before."

"That's great and all, but you never watched 'Friends.' That is a sin that must be undone." Wade said before they both silenced themselves as the theme starting to play.

Once the episode ends, Wade and Midnight are both laughing their heads off as Wade switches the TV off. "Oh my gosh, how did I never see this show?!" Midnight asks in between breaths. "It's too good!"

"I know right?! A masterpiece, despite its age!" Wade says, calming down slowly.

Midnight begins to calm herself as well, reverting to small giggles here and there. She moves some hair out of her face, "I just love Chandler and Joey. They are the best duo."

"Nobody hates those two; they are the best characters!"

Midnight then kisses Wade on his lips and smiles, "But there is someone who is the best at something, and they just so happen to be here with me~"

Wade places his hands on her sides and helps her sit on his lap, "Of course it's me. Who else is better than, Wade 'Mama Fucker' Wilson?" Midnight smirks and the two start to have a rather 'passionate night.'

Hatsume

"Boosters. Check. Engine. Check. Possibility of explosives? ….Check. Okay, let's do this!"

*Click*

*BOOM!*

Hatsume was having a coughing fit as her face was covered in black ash, and smog was created in the lab. She looked towards the door to open it but saw it was completely off its hinges, again. "That didn't even last a second!" Hatsume yelled out, but then laughed it off. "Oh, I wonder what went wrong this time!"

Loud, mechanical steps were heard and walking towards Hatsume as the young inventor paid no attention to the incoming android heading her way. "Hatsume, be careful next time. Like I told you before, be at a safe distance when you believe your invention could self-destruct." This was Karen.

Hatsume looked towards the android. She had dark brown, long, silk-like hair that reached to her shoulders. Her skin looked smooth and soft with a nice pale coloring to it. Her eyes were ovalish and aged with her pupils having a chocolate shade to it. Her body looked matured as if she was in her middle-aged years. She wore a pair of jeans with brown, laced boots and a dark red shirt.

"I know, Karen." Hatsume said, "But that's how it was every day with your body when I was manufacturing it. It kept imploding every time I tweaked something." Hatsume then had a genuine smile on her face, "Then again, it was worth it because now you have a body of your own instead of being inside of a computer all day long."

Karen shook her head slightly, "And I thank you very much for it, but just because you constantly survive explosions to the face, does not mean you will be invulnerable to them all. One day, you might not come out unscathed, and that is what I am afraid of."

Hatsume eyed Karen a bit suspicious, "Afraid? Are you being real with that or just a figure of speech?"

Karen looked stumped for a moment, "I….don't know. Then again, you did add in a danger sensor into my body, so it could be that."

Hatsume scratched her chin for a moment, "That could be true." Hatsume then crossed her arms over her chest, "But that doesn't explain the other occurrences where it looked as though as you had real emotions. Such as expressing happiness when you were transferred into the synth body of yours, or when you showed signs of anger when I carelessly put Midoriya in a suit that almost twisted his back a whole 180 degrees."

"That was still an idiotic decision to make. If it wasn't field-tested, then why put a life at risk?" Karen retorted and earned a groan from Hatsume.

"How many times do I have to apologize?!" Hatsume said and went back to work.

"As many times as it takes," Karen said and walked next to Hatsume. "The motor is the problem. It's at a high temperature, most likely from overheating. You have it overworking the instant this contraption switches on. Either switch it out completely, modify the engine, or redesign the product itself."

Hatsume looked at Karen, "Modify it." Hatsume stepped back as Karen proceeded to easily lift the engine from its place, and place it on a worktable. Karen scanned the engine to see what the best possible solution is before displaying a screen on a nearby wall. "Blueprints are ready."

Hatsume began to work on the engine now. "So Karen, have you been experiencing any problems lately?"

"If I have, I won't tell you because you may end up blowing me up," Karen replied sarcastically.

"Out of all the emotions, Tony could have somehow implanted into you, why sarcasm?" Hatsume said before pointing a screwdriver at Karen, "And it was just a simple question. Sheesh."

"I apologize. Tony assumed having a sarcasm mod would a 'fun' idea." Karen said robotically.

"That was as convincing as your tone of voice." Hatsume showed her own form of sarcasm.

Karen simply hummed, "Hatsume. Why are you here? Wouldn't you rather be with your family today?"

Without looking at Karen, Hatsume answered back, "Well I have no idea where my mom is, abandoned my father and I a week after I was born according to my dad, and my dad is busy working until 8 pm so we can have money to survive. So no, I wouldn't rather be with my family if I can't even see them." Hatsume sounded bitter and harsh when she talked about her family.

Karen sighed. She always knew the subject of 'family' was a topic Hatsume never wanted to discuss, but she never knew the history of her family either. Karen began to wonder why Hatsume was always chirpy now, but suddenly, Karen noticed that she started to feel weird. Like her synthetic heartfelt…heavier? Her chest was a bit tight even though nothing was constricting it. Karen was also feeling an odd sense. She couldn't pinpoint what it was, but all she could think about was that she had to do something.

"Mei."

Hatsume quickly looked at Karen, a look of surprise as her first name was called, something Karen only does whenever she wanted to grab Hatsume's full attention. "Uh…yeah?"

Karen was quiet for a moment before she spoke, "I know we agreed to work today, but I don't want to see you cooped up in her all day either." Karen took a breath, "I...I think there is something we could do that's better than this. I don't know, maybe go out and do something?"

Hatsume was utterly confused, yet curious at this sudden development. She put the screwdriver down and twisted her body towards Karen, "Uh…why are you suggesting this?"

"In my mind, it is not fair for you to not be able to do something today. All of your friends are with people they love, yet you are here working? You should be having fun like everyone else." Karen stated.

Hatsume looked at Karen blankly for a moment. Karen thought she probably said the wrong thing and was about to reverse her decision, but then Hatsume smiled quite warmly. "Okay. I guess I could use a break from this today." Hatsume looked at her 'baby', "I love working on my babies, but even a mother needs a break from time to time."

Karen hummed at this response as Hatsume went over to a sink area to clean herself up a bit. Karen was able to connect to the internet at will, so she was doing just that. She was researching the symptoms that were currently affecting her at the moment. What she found surprised her greatly. According to the best results she found, Karen was feeling-

"I'm ready!"

Karen snapped back into reality and looked towards a rejuvenated Hatsume. Hatsume was kinda bouncy slightly, her energy not being able to be contained at the moment. Karen nodded her head in response. "Then let us enjoy the day." Karen and Hatsume left the workshop with Karen still thinking about the results she discovered as they walked.

Laura

Everyone was outside enjoying themselves. Not a single teenage soul was inside of the dorms by the time it was 5:00, everyone had left, except for one Laura Kinney.

Laura did not care for Valentine's Day, not she found it stupid or anything, she just did not have a care for it. Laura didn't reject love. She was created with human emotions, but she never sought out for love either. No one interested her in this universe, despite some speculating that Bakugo was a fit for her, she did not like her blonde haired classmate. Laura saw him more like an acquaintance than a friend like Kurt, Peter, or even Uraraka.

Laura was sitting in the living room looking through her phone to see if anything held any interest. Without any missions, anyone to talk to, or to train with, she was left to herself aside from the Bamfs that were somewhere in the dorms, and the innocent soul in front of her she was babysitting at the moment, Eri.

Eri. The little silver-haired girl Laura helped rescue from Kai Chisaki. Laura felt her blood boil just thinking of that fucker. When Laura first heard of Eri, she felt pure anger and berated Lemillion and Midoriya for letting her out of their grasp. And when Nighteye tried to shut her down, Laura put him on blast too and did not stop until he was nothing but a man who was ashamed of himself. A little girl was being used as an experiment for other peoples evils, and none of them attempted to do anything when they were right there. Eri was a victim of evil and an innocent soul that needed to be saved. So when Midoriya told Laura of the rescue mission, she was on board immediately, and Laura even brought in Deadpool for he too knew the feeling of being a lab rat; plus Deadpool felt the same anger she felt and Laura knew they would 'finish the job' if the others couldn't. When they invaded the warehouse, Laura and Deadpool tore through the scene with Lemillion. They were the first three to reach Eri and Kai Chisaki. Things didn't go as planned, though, because no one could guess what Chisaki was capable of with his Quirk nor with those bullets.

Lemillion lost his Quirk, and Deadpool had his entire body blown up. X-23 was all that was left between Eri and Chisaki. The other two goons were dispatched without a hassle, but trying to attack Chisaki proved to be difficult, yet all of that changed when Spider-Man, Deku, and Nighteye came. All of them combined were able to put down Chisaki, and Laura was going to kill him if Deku hadn't talked her out of it, saying that Eri has seen enough death and destruction for an entire lifetime.

When an ambulance came to take Eri, she did not why, but Laura felt the need to stay with Eri. Laura stayed with Eri for the ride to the hospital, and when the little girl was having a dangerous fever. Laura would not leave her side no matter what and even gave up her provisional license to prove her point. Laura still remembered how scared Eri was when she first woke up. It took a while to calm her down, but Laura was successful. Laura stayed with Eri for the whole time she was in the hospital. Eri had gotten comfortable around Laura during the time, so comfortable that she did not want to leave her side when Aizawa suggested that he take her to his home to care for her. In the end, Laura sacrificed her deal with the government in exchange to raise Eri, and she even had a contract that proved she was allowed to raise Eri.

"Laura," Eri called out to the teenage girl, snapping her out of her thoughts. Only a select few were allowed to use Laura's real name, Eri was one of them.

"Yeah?" Laura answered.

"Why aren't you out like everyone else?" Eri asked curiously.

Laura got off of the couch and walked towards Eri. She knelt in front of the girl and messed with her hair slightly, "Cause someone's gotta take care of you."

"Oh." Eri suddenly looked sad, "Did I ruin it?"

Laura chuckled a little, "No little one, I just don't have a valentine. That's all."

Eri's face changed back to a puzzling look, "A valen…tine?"

Laura nodded, "Yes, valentine."

"What's a valentine?" Eri asked.

Laura got up, "Just someone you either love or have feelings for. Like Peter and Tsuyu, or Kurt and Mina. Sometimes it can be just friendship like you and the Bamfs. Other times, it can be family-like Inko and Midoriya. Like I said, just someone you have feelings for, it doesn't have to be boyfriend and girlfriend emotions."

Eri looked as though she was processing it for a moment before nodding her head, "Oh. I understand."

"Good. You hungry, or no?" Laura asked as Eri nodded her head and smiled sweetly.

"Do we have apples?" Eri loved apples, and that was made obvious to everyone when she first tried it. Eri chowed down the red fruit like she hasn't eaten in years.

"Of course, but I meant for dinner," Laura said as she walked towards the kitchen with Eri following her.

"I don't know what to eat, though."

"How about I make you a pizza?"

"Yes!"

Laura nodded her head, "Okay. That might take a while though since it's going to be homemade." Last time they had frozen pizza, it was so horrible that Laura said she can make a better pizza, and when Bakugo challenged her word, she proceeded to do so. Everyone was confused as to how she knew how to make it but did not question it either since it was delicious.

Eri nodded her head. "Okay." Laura washed an apple and gave it to Eri, who happily took it and began to eat it. As Laura was making the pizza, Eri left as she had to use the restroom. It took a while, but when the pizza was cooked in the oven, both girls ate with the Bamfs as they smelled the pizza and got hungry too.

Once they were done, the Bamfs and Eri began to play in the living room for a while as Laura watched over them. When the Bamfs left, Eri managed to drag Laura into the childish activities much to the older girl's embarrassment.

Laura was willing to do many things for Eri to keep her happy, and that was put to the test when Peter showed Eri Disney movies and Eri wanted to do duet singing with Laura. For a few days, she was nicknamed 'Cinderella', and Laura would kick anyone's ass every time whenever someone said that dreaded nickname.

"*sigh* Ready or not, here I come," Laura said with little enthusiasm. Eri wanted to play hide and seek, and that is what they are playing right now. Laura sniffed the air and knew where she was, but to keep it fun for Eri, Laura pretended to not know. "Are you...over here?" She looked behind the couch, "Nope." Laura heard giggling from the stairway. Laura then smiled a little, "Are you…over here?" She said as she entered the kitchen area, "Nope not here. Where can you be, Eri?" Eri kept giggling, but they were muffled. Laura then walked out and tapped her foot on the ground, "Oh where, oh where can you be?" Laura said playfully. Eri let out a laugh but quickly shushed herself.

Laura then showed up to where the stairs were, "Found you!" She announced. Eri squealed and run upstairs, "Hey be careful!" Laura said as she gave chase to her.

"You got to catch me first!" Eri said as said got up the stair, rushed into a room, and closed the door behind her.

Laura entered the room, her room, or more specifically, their room. Eri and Laura shared the same room ever since Laura was given the responsibility to raise her. Laura examined the room and quickly deduced she was on Laura's bed and under the blankets. Laura quickly pulled the blanket off, and Eri was there.

"Found you." Laura tapped Eri on the head.

Eri smiled widely and giggled, "That was fun."

Laura sat next to Eri and smiled, "Yeah it was. When did you get so good at hiding?"

Eri shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know." Eri sat up and looked up to Laura, "Laura, why don't you smile more?"

That stumped Laura, "Why do you ask?" Laura questioned with a confused face.

"Because I like your smile. It's nice." Eri answered back as sweetly as ever.

Laura tried her best to not smile but failed as her facial muscles rebelled against her. Laura gave in and picked up Eri before placing her on her lap, "Maybe because I just haven't found a proper reason to smile often."

"Oh?" Eri kept her gaze on Laura, "Have you found a reason yet?"

"Maybe." Laura then booped Eri on her nose, causing the younger girl to giggle before she snuggled into Laura. Laura began to think. About two months ago, she was as hard as steel and rarely smiled. Now, she was smiling for nearly everything whenever Eri was involved. Has this little girl really changed her that much within a month?

Eri smiled more and relaxed completely against Laura's body. "I'm happy that you rescued me."

"I am too, Eri. I am too." Laura said and kept one of her hands on Eri.

"Laura, could I be your valentine?" Eri asked as Laura looked down towards Eri. They both looked at each for a moment.

"Sure. I don't see why not." Laura replied before receiving a hug from Eri.

"Yay!" Eri seemed very happy now, but then she yawned. This made Laura chuckle lightly.

"Tired?" Laura asked, and Eri nodded. Laura picked up Eri and placed her on the bed before going to the door, and locking it. Laura went back to see that Eri was in her little bed in the corner. "Hey, Eri."

"Hmm?" Eri looked towards Laura.

"Wanna just sleep with me, for today?" Laura asked. It wouldn't be the first time Laura and Eri shared the same bed. Whenever Eri had nightmares, Laura would let Eri sleep with her to make her feel safe.

Eri smiled widely and made her way to Laura's bed. "Yes!"

Laura got onto the bed first and gave room for Eri to get in. Once the little girl was settled in, Laura laid next to her and pulled the covers over them. Eri was quick to cuddle next to Laura and sighed happily. "Night, Eri," Laura said.

"Night, Laura," Eri said as she was quickly drifting off into sleep.

Laura shut her eyes too.

"...I love you…" Eri mumbled out as Laura quickly shot her eyes open in shock. Laura turned to the sleeping girl quickly and stared at her for a bit.

"...You love me?" Laura asked the sleeping Eri and received no response. Laura was taking a while to process this. Love? Eri loved her? Has their relationship gotten to this point?

Laura looked up to the ceiling and began to think to herself, "She… loves me?" Laura couldn't stop replaying those three words in her head over and again, "...It makes sense. She never had anyone to love before. Her father was a fucking prick who should be dead, her mother is god knows where, and…everyone else she ever encountered were just as cruel to the girl as the bastard who called himself her 'father.' While it is true Izuku was the first one she felt genuine softness from, it has always been me who never left her side. During the raid, I was the first one to get her away from Chisaki and held her by my side until the battle was over. Even after that, I never left her side; I was always there for her. I taught her how to read, write, draw, and other educational activities. I was the first to show her a variety of foods, including apples. To show her TV, to play with her, make her laugh, and even help her overcome her fear of thunder and lightning. Heck...I was the first to hold her softly and soothe her when she was crying because of a nightmare she had where we gave her back to Chisaki. She said no one ever held her when she was crying, and that they told her to 'be quiet' or hurt her to make her stop." Laura once again felt her rage build-up for a second, but it soon vanished just as quick as it came.

Laura looked over to Eri once more and began to look at her differently now. Last time she looked at Eri, she saw a little girl who needed someone to care over her. Now, she looked...different, somehow. Yes, she was still the same girl, but now she was in a different light, a different view. Laura couldn't explain what it was, but she will find out soon. Laura came back to reality when Eri began to whimper and shift in her sleep restlessly. Eri's face seemed distressed, her breathing started to grow heavy, her eyes looked as though as if she was about to cry.

Laura gently pulled Eri close to her and held her. Eri kept whimpering and such a moment, but soon relaxed and stopped panicking. Laura kept her eyes on Eri to make sure she was okay.

"I'll figure all of this out later. I quite literally have all the time in the world." Laura thought to herself. Laura whispered in Eri's ear, "...I love you too." With that, Laura then fell asleep herself, holding the little girl in a firm, yet gentle grasp.
