Chapter 4: Beginning x of a x love

Yuri's POV:

[45 minutes later, in the airship of the Hunter Association]

The 2nd phase to cook has just ended. Now our protagonists entered the airship of the Hunter Association. Tonpa told Kurapika and Leorio to stay awake, as it might be a test, but Yuri doesn't trust him. Now, she is running around in the airship with Killua and Gon.

Gon: "WOW! Guys, look! The view from here is great!"

Gon stands in front of a wide and big glass window and looks outside. It is dark already, but that makes the skyline even more beautiful.

Yuri: "You're right!"

[1 minute later]

Gon: "Killua, Yuri, where do you come from by the way? We haven't told each other anything about us yet!"

Killua: "I come from a family of assassins. We're all assassins. But I never liked our business, so I stabbed my mom in the face and my brother in the belly. Then I ran away."

Wow, we are so similar… NO! Stop it Yuri, you can't let your feelings out right now!

Yuri: "Well, my story is basically a copypasty of Killua's"

Killua: "Really?"

Yuri: "Yeah."

Gon: "Cool!"

Yuri and Killua: "THAT'S YOUR REACTION?!"

Suddenly, an intense aura from the direction of a hallway fills the area. Then, Chairman Netero comes from a different hallway.

Killua: "You're pretty fast for an old man…"

Yuri: "You made that aura, right?"

Netero: "Am I that obvious? Well, it seems I'm getting rusty… Well, do you enjoy the Hunter exam so far?"

Gon: "YES! It's awesome!"

Killua: "I don't enjoy it. It's boring…"

Yuri: "It's annoying and fun at the same time."

Netero: "Well, in my opinion it will get better and better. But you can't count on my opinion! Ha-Ha-Ha!"

'And that guy is supposed to be the chairman of the whole hunter association? THE BEST HUNTER IN THE WORLD? So many things are just too weird for me...'

Netero: "Hey, what do you think about playing a game with me?"

Gon: "YES!"

Netero: "If you win the game, I'll make you a hunter instantly!"

[5 minutes later]

The chairman now holds a ball.

Netero: "If you steal this ball from me, you win. But i won't make it easy for you! You 3 may also attack at once."

We decided to go one by one first, and Killua starts. He begins to walk circles around the chairman, creating "holograms" of himself while doing so.

'I know that technique'

Yuri: "Rhythm Echo"

Gon: "Huh?"

Yuri: "That's the name of that technique. I can do it aswell. It's a technique used by assassins like me. I wonder what family Killua comes from..."

Suddenly the real Killua jumps at Netero, trying to steal the ball, but the old man instantly dodges without difficulty.

'That chairman isn't even trying. And Killua was so fast! So AWESOME! Wait- What am I saying there? BUAGH! SHUT THE FUCK UP, DUMBASS YURI!'

Gon then goes next. He rushes towards Netero, but jumps up right before being in his range. But then he hits the ceiling of the room...

Gon: "OUCH!!"

!Killua!: "YOU DUMBASS! YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR JUMP POWER! THE OLD MAN DIDN'T EXPECT THAT!

'He really didn't... it was written in his face.'

So Yuri went next.

'I have an idea. I have to use THAT technique...'

Yuri begins to run forward and backward, changing directions every second. But then something happens: There's a sound that is so awful, that Netero has to hold his hands on his ears, while balancing the ball on his head. That is the moment Yuri rushes towards him and tries to take the ball. But Netero suddenly makes a serious face, and something golden pushes Yuri softly away.

'WHAT WAS THAT? I BASICALLY HAD THE BALL!'

Now all three attack at once. But even after 10 minutes they don't have any achievement.

Killua: "I give up."

Gon: "What? Why?"

Killua: "Don't you get it? We have no chance..."

Yuri: "He didn't even use his one arm yet..."

Netero: "Oh, you noticed? I thought I hid it pretty well. Ha-Ha-Ha!"

Killua: "Let's go!"

Gon: "I stay here! I'm going to make him use his other arm!"

Killua: "You really are a fool!"

Then Killua walks away.

Yuri: "Bye Gon, I go with Killua."

Yuri catches up to Killua, but then 2 men annoy him, so he easily kills them.

Yuri: "You didn't have to do that"

Killua: "I know..."

Yuri: "Can I talk to you please?"

Killua: "Sure..."

Yuri: "That technique. The rhythm echo. When did you learn it? I thought I'd be special because i learned it so easily."

Killua: "You know it? Well, I learned it when I was 8 yeard old i believe"

Yuri: "Oh, me too!"

Killua: "Which assassin family do you come from?"

Yuri: "I wanted to ask you the same! I'm from the Darkzyres."

Killua: "Oh, I'm a Zoldyck. Isn't your family just as known as mine?"

Yuri: "I believe so. My dad told me about the Zoldycks, that they are pretty strong, almost as strong as him..."

Killua: "Wait, your dad is stronger than mine? Wow, that's an achievement..."

Yuri: "I guess so. But I have to tell you something: You need to get rid of the bad habits of your family, especially the killing. I need to do the same! If you want, I can help you ! Promise!"

Killua: "Okay, I promise...:

Yuri: "Nice! Man, that face you made was so cute right now!"

Killua: "What?"

'OH MY GOD! WHAT DID I JUST SAY THERE!'

Yuri: "What do you mean what? I didn't say anything?"

Killua: "Hm..."

'No, no no no no no! It's going too far! But... saying that felt so... satisfying... nice? I don't know what to do... I need to talk to Leorio...'

The two then go to their room. They are sitting at opposite corners to sleep, but after a few minutes, Yuri unconsciously goes next to Killua and lays her head on his shoulder, before instantly falling asleep.

Killua's POV:

'What's going on now? Why is she resting on me? I mean, it doesn't annoy me, but isn't it just weird?'

[5 minutes later]

'I'm going to try something...'

Then Killua rests his head on Yuri's...

'It actually doesn't feel bad. No, more like nice...'

... and then falls asleep aswell.

And that's it! 1104 words! That is actually insanely good! I'm kind of proud of myself! So, the main plot's slowly starting, and i would like to write as fast as possible now, but I think I'm going to make a little bit of non-relationship fluff now, and also for the rest of the exam. Okay, goodbye, I'm writing chapter 5! Lol :)
