WHY I'M SO STUPID?

Hey folks, here is the latest chapter to the fic. Sorry for taking so long, life has been pretty troublesome as of late, mainly trying to improve some things about myself that could use it, and thinking about how to make the future seem brighter, like go back to college, and study creative writing as a major, with maybe, theater as a minor. Another thing that acted like a monkey wrench in the gears, fell for a romance scam, which for those who don't know, is mainly a scam where, in my case, a pretty girl started talking to me like she is interested in me, but after a while, turns out, was only interested in my wallet. Didn't lose too much money, so I was able to recover financially, but emotionally, the heartbreak sucks because of something sounding too good to be true. Right now, all I can do is forgive and move on, while never giving up hope that I well find real love and life can get better for me.
And well, considering the response I got for the rant in my last chapter, well, here is one more, although probably pointless by now, is all the fillers that the anime is throwing in now to explain what went on during Naruto's training trip, and probably trying to justify the couples that were picked out at the end, well, all I have to say to that it's too late, the damage is done, and the fillers would just contradict the original storyline even more than the storyline itself would. Basically, one bad mess, along with the series that supposedly happens after Gaiden, where from the trailer, where Kakashi and Naruto get killed by Boruto, wither it's just a rumor or not, seems more like Kishimoto is trying to brighten a flame that flickered out a long time ago.
By the way, the story might have total of 30, 35, 40, or anywhere in between, not entirely sure. The reason why, well, by having Sasuke not get bit and staying in Konoha, while having Itachi live and return to the village along with Kisame, well, it changed so many things when it came to the Shippuden arcs, especially with Sasuke as a key factor, that I would have to come up with some new arcs, while rewriting the ones that involves Naruto, mainly something that requires a lot of thinking. While I'll throw in the movies, if anybody got a suggestion of an arc, or something in the timeline that could use a change, let me know. At the moment, just going to make sure, even though the romance had a major jumpstart, just want to make sure that Naruto and Sakura still have time to enjoy life as a couple, and figure out when to throw in the wedding scene, which would probably be near the end, along with maybe an epilogue.
Anyway, on with the story.
Namikaze Compound
It is the morning after the 'big cure' was administered, and the mostly dreaded morning sun is making itself known into the bedroom of one Naruto Namikaze. Usually it would be just him dealing with the one alarm clock that he can't blow up without dire consequences, but now, it reached the eyes of the person in his arm, one Sakura Haruno. After giving a slight moan to the rude wakeup, especially since she just went to sleep barely three hours ago, she blinked open her eyes, after getting the fogginess out of them, looked at what, or rather whom, she was sleeping on, while feeling what is wrapped around her, closed them again, not wanting to leave the warmth and comfort being provided. Usually, she be up to get ready for work, but since she is being given time off, and even if it was a work day, why would she leave such comfort, especially all the wonderful feelings it came with when it involved their bodies. With her head snuggly near the crook of his neck, her breasts molding perfectly onto his chest, her arms lazily laying on him, would be complete if it wasn't for the fact that from the waist down, she was in a bit of pain, most of it on and in her vulva, while her legs felt a bit numb, that it took whatever chakra control to numb the pain. Sakura could fix it with some medical jutsu that didn't require her to use her hands, since it involved repairing her own body, some of the really advanced stuff that Tsunade taught her, but it would require some really strong focused, and her mind hasn't returned from the mind-blowing sex she had last night, so she just has to make do with what she has. Hearing a slight moan, along with feeling a bit of movement, she knew that sleep was looking like less of an option, so she opened her eyes to look up at the boy, no man that has always had her heart, but took her a long while to realize it.
Naruto woke up, feeling groggy, but also like a big weight was left off of his shoulders, while he rubbed his eyes with the fingers from his right hand, since something was preventing him from lifting his left arm. After feeling more alert, and sensing that somebody is looking at him, he looked down to see his friend, well more like now, girlfriend/lover, looking back at him, with a smile, and with a big glow from all of the action last night. "Morning Sakura." He greeted the girl lying securely in his arm, with a big grin.
Sakura gave him a grin in return, before saying "Good morning, Love." She said, as she pulled herself up to give him a good morning kiss on the lips. When they separated, "Do you feel satisfied, Naruto?" She asked.
Naruto's smile grew, "That and more, Darling, especially considering the Kurama is sleeping soundly on his back with a big grin on his face." He said, causing the woman in his arm to giggle at the thought of the almighty Kyubi doing something not so demon-like, "How about you? Are you feeling okay?"
"Oh besides feeling like Hokage-Sensei has been given me the pervert punishmet between my legs, I'm pretty livid." Sakura said with a smile, before giving him another kiss to intercept the incoming apology that was about to leave my lips, "I'm fine NarutoI knew what I was getting into and I would do it again in a heartbeat." She then placed her head back on his chest, a slight blush appeared all over her body, every part of her remembering the sensation the night before, "And with all the pleasure you gave me, it was definitely worth the pain."
Naruto was blushing at that comment, but both just stayed silent, just feeling content of the love that was radiating off the other, basking in the afterglow. After a few minutes, like always, there is something to ruin the mood, which in this case, a loud growl was heard, causing the blonde to rub his head in embarrassment for his stomach picking the worst moment to wake up, and the girl in his arms to giggle up a storm. The giggle came to a direct halt when Sakura's stomach made itself known, causing the lady to try and bury her face in embarrassment. Naruto just gave a small chuckle, before creating a shadow clone, having it go handle breakfast. Looking down at the girl, who was a bit impressed that Naruto pulled off one of his signature jutsus without even raising a hand, giving her a little shake to get her attention.
"Want to go freshen up while breakfast is being made?" Naruto asked.
Responding with a smile at first, "Sure, could use a little freshening up before we have something to eat." Sakura said, while her and Naruto started to get out of bed, not bothering to reach for something to put on their bodies, although then again, Naruto had to be Sakura's support since her legs are a bit on the wobbly side due to the feeling just barely returning to them, "And who knows, maybe we can try for an encore later on." They both looked at each other, a dust of red on their cheeks as they smiled, and the look on their faces meaning that they were thinking on the same wavelength.
Hokage's Office
A few hours later, the couple are at a nearby couch, or to be more specific, Sakura is laying on it, with Naruto standing to the side, and Tsunade's hands are glowing green while she uses a diagnostic jutsu on her apprentice, which she started doing after Naruto flashed in, carrying Sakura bridal style in his arms. While the happy, and really satisfied, couple did shower, eat breakfast, and 'reconnected' right afterwards, well, as it turns out, there are consequences for somebody who doesn't go through a decent rest period, especially a medic nin, when it came to having sex with an Uzumaki, which is . . .
"Okay, you have a fractured pelvis from constant pounding of the hips,"
Something along those lines.
Tsunade said, giving off what she has found, "The muscles in your legs appear to be a little weak, probably from absorbing the shockwaves that went through your body every time Naruto connected with your hips." This cause the pair to blush at the memory on how that felt, "And judging by the fact that you tried different positions, a few more then once, you are now also suffering from a broken ass." She then looked up at the blushing pair, while her face said trouble, her eyes said she was trying hard not to laugh at their expense, "In some ways, it's almost like déjà vu for me since I remember having to heal Minato with almost the same problem." When she seen Naruto go pale at that, after hearing a bit about his parents sex life, she let out a laugh, because even though Naruto never fully knew his parents, no kid wants to hear any of the 'intimate' details involving them. "Anyway, I can repair all of the damage, but you'll have to wait until about tomorrow before you go back to your new hobby." She couldn't help but to chuckle once the blush intensified, "And between then and now, I well be giving Sakura a little mini-training so that way she can not only fix herself after each session, but also, how to better prepare your body before you go through it."
As much as she wanted to scream at her mentor for already knowing how to help her get through last night, Sakura knew better to stop herself due to the fact that she knew what she asked for yesterday was pretty much last minute, so nobody is to blame, and also, Tsunade would make sure to get even in a crude, and chances are, painful way, thanks to the Uzumaki blood that runs through her veins. "Thank you, Sensei." She looked down at what she was wearing, which would be the dress she wore for their little 'date' last night, thinking how quickly the village might come to a bunch of different conclusions on what she did if any of them seen her heading towards Naruto's place..
As if sensing what she was thinking, "Don't worry, I already sent a clone to your place, and Ino should be here at any moment to bring you a change of clothes." He said, getting a thank you sigh from his girlfriend, "Anyway, unless you need me for anything, me and the Uchiha Brothers got some things to do today."
"No, you go on ahead, Ibiki told me that he is expecting you three today." Tsunade said, before turning towards her student who is waiting to be fixed, "And don't worry, your little girlfriend should be able to at least walk out of here on her own power."
Naruto nodded before giving Sakura a deep kiss on the lips, "See you soon, Love." He said.
"See you soon, Darling." Sakura answered back, knowing that it felt like things were moving a little fast in the love department, but hey, in their line of work, some things they shouldn't be stalling on, because sometimes, tomorrow is never a guarantee for ninja, because of their life expectancy. When he left, by FTG technique, Sakura looked towards her sensei, whom was starting the healing process, and despite the flinching she felt with the bone done there being repaired, "What is going on with Naruto, Sasuke and Itachi today?"
Not losing her focus, Tsunade answered, showing what decades of multitasking has done for her, "Oh Ibiki and his two partners have just got done milking every little secret out of our former Elders, especially confirming a few things Naruto and Jiraiya dug up from their private files, mainly get all the things they did in their so called claimed 'for the good of the village,' yet in reality, more for themselves." Her hands still glowing green, only moving slightly to heal the next area, "Right now, today, Naruto, Sasuke and Itachi are going to get one final chance to face the people who destroyed so many lives, especially their clan's lives, just to maintain their image of what the world should be, before we publically execute them for high treason, murder, and so many other crimes."
Sakura understood the significance of that, having to face the people that have orchestrated so many bad things in their lives just so that they can have more power than the person who is supposed to have it, from, in the Uchihas case, losing their clan all because they got tired of being accused of causing a tragedy, while also trying to get one brother to kill the other so that way it would never be learned that the clan was about to fight back against a village that was probably planning to get rid of them one way or another, all the way to Naruto, who's life has been decided for him by people who want to treat him as a weapon, even if it cost the lives of the people who they lied to in order to try and prove that he only needs to be treated as such.
"Wait, what about Moegi and Udon?" Sakura asked, wondering how the less crazy members of Naruto's fan club would react to all this, "Wouldn't they feel sad about having their grandparents . . ." She started saying, until she noticed the look of disappointed anger on her sensei's face, realizing what that could mean, "Don't tell me."
Tsunade gave a sad sigh before replying, "Yes, their last conversation was heartbreaking, especially since Naruto had to be the one to heal them on an emotional level." The blonde Hokage shook her head, "Homura and Koharu have been in power for so long, they even consider their own families expendable, and they weren't afraid to share their disappointments on how their grandkids look up to the person they were trying to break into doing their own bidden." And she formed a fist tight enough to make it shake, "And I know for a fact that even if they were to convince Hiruzen sensei to turn Naruto into a weapon, chances are, that old fool Danzo would try to pull a fast one by making sure Naruto follows his orders only, especially to where he can use Naruto to kill anybody in his way, especially sensei."
Sakura couldn't help but feel grateful that Naruto was too stubborn to be put down so badly in the past by the village, with her treating him like crap just because the village pretty much encouraged their kids to do so. If Naruto did crack, and end up a member of Danzo's Foundation Army, would she had felt the slightest bit of remorse for what she has done, destroying a person's life, or would she have tried to pin the blame all on him, even if he decides to kill her, and the fan girl her would be hoping Sasuke would just pop in out of nowhere and save her worthless ass.
The atmosphere in the room was going dreary, bringing the good mood that both women started the day with, until a loud knock was heard. "Come in." Tsunade answered.
The door opened to reveal Ino, who, after closing it behind her, had a teasing smirk on her face, something that Sakura isn't too surprised of seeing considering who's expense it well be coming out of. "So forehead, from what I got from Naruto, apparently, you two were 'inseparable' since last night, and now, you're lucky if you can close your legs completely." When she got weird looks from the two women, and she could see floating sweat drops from the ANBU that is supposed to be there, "Yeah, I know, I was winging the whole thing. I would have to read Icha-Icha in order to get that perverted."
Sakura gave a small sigh, knowing how badly her friend has been waiting to tease her when her and Naruto finally got together, even if it is literally. "So, did you bring my clothes with you, or were you too excited to where you forgot them at our apartment?" Sakura asked, wanting to change into her off-duty clothes.
"Yeah, yeah, here you go, Sakura." Ino said, before tossing a scroll towards her friend, who caught it, and went towards the bathroom connected to the office. While waiting, Ino had a look that said she had something serious to discuss with her longtime friend, something that Tsunade noticed right away, when no nickname was used in her response. When Sakura stepped out, wearing a simple short, jeans, and a pair of tennis shoes, "Sakura, we need to talk."
Sakura tilted her head in curiosity, because the tone that Ino used tends to have something life changing for the both of them.
ANBU Prison
In a set of cells, sat what used to be, the three strongest people in Fire Country, only for their age to finally catch up to them, along with their senility, arrogance and everything else in the past that gave them a god complex, only to lose it all because of one demon that was supposed to be just a weapon, somebody they never seen as human, decided to fight back and declared himself human, defying their mighty power. And to make things worse, the boy they have been grooming to not only take out the only other person who knows the whole truth about that night, but also, become their personal puppet by having him become the next hokage, cut the strings off early and started to become his own person. Finally, the person who they were planning to use as a scapegoat so that way, his brother would kill him without learning the truth, and they would have their perfect puppet under their control.
They looked up after hearing the door opening to their cell block, and scowled upon seeing the trio of boys that they were really despising with a passion. Looking at the one that is at the top of their list, "So the demon has graced us with his presence." Homura said, pretty much not holding back the venom in his voice.
Naruto didn't even flinch at that, considering that because of them, he learned to tune it out enough to just ignore the pain people try to inflict on him, and throw it back at them tenfold. "Well, yeah, even the demon has to pay a visit to the monsters that pretty much created him." Came his smartass remark, which didn't sit too well with them.
Koharu spoke up next, "You shall show us respect boy, for we are the Elders of this village." She said, trying to use the same authority they tried to use on Hiruzen and Tsunade, before denying the claim, "And we did not create you Demon."
"Correction, you're ex-Elders, and respect is earned, not given, no matter who you are." Naruto countered, "And you have done nothing to earn my respect or anybody else's, just threatened to sick the ANBU on anybody that is willing to stand up to you, even threaten their families." After hearing them growl, "And let us not forget, my father's last request was for me to be seen as a hero, leaving a human child with a big burden behind, yet you purposely spit on his request and told a bunch of half-truths about me, even going as far as making sure most of the village started calling me a demon, and think they are treating me as such, so yeah, in a way, you did create me."
Sensing that the two of them were still going to deny it, despite the mounting evidence against them, while Danzo just stood there, looking like he wants to kill everybody in the room, including his partners-in-crime, yet also knowing that the jig is up, and those two need to stop trying to justify their own ignorance. While he had his own reasons for what he did, and why he did it, Danzo was no fool to now that any argument would be pointless on both sides, due to stubborn pride. Itachi decided to step in, "Actually, thanks to your ignorance, as well as arrogance, everything that has happened over the years lead back to you." He said, getting two angry glares aimed at him, "You did everything you could to stunt Naruto's growth as a person, even going as far as to demand, as well as threaten, the Third Hokage to stop helping Naruto, while always calling him the village's weapon."
Sasuke decided to continue on with this, feeling a little pissed off himself at the thought of being used in an almost similar, but opposite way, "And you have the nerve to try and brainwash me into your little puppet, trying to get me to not only kill Itachi, the person who knows as much about the reasons behind my clan's fall, but also, hoping I would either manipulate Naruto with my Sharingan eyes so that he can be easily controlled, or killed, because you tried so hard to get the results you wanted from us at the academy." And this was when Sasuke showed how pissed he was, "And you go have the nerve to make it where I'm some kind of hero, when in reality, you were just helping yourself to my clan's funds, and if I were to end up dead, you would turn me into some kind of martyr, while using my death as an excuse to help yourself to what's left of my clan, including our jutsus."
Naruto took a couple of steps forward, his eyes, activating, and everybody in the room were able to see something else in them along with the rings, a trio of Sharingan tomes on top of them, meaning that Naruto achieved a new level of the Rinnegan. "And since, judging by my eyes, and what I'm sensing, by the time the memory reaches your owners, I'm pretty sure Danzo would be more than glad to point out to you two where everything started to go wrong, especially since, for a senile old asshole, pretty sure even he could see things that you two never bothered to noticed."
While the trio had a look of shock on their faces, one of the Uchiha brothers spoke up, "What are you talking about Naruto?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto only used three words, "Use your eyes." He said, which while to people, would make them feel really annoyed, yet to anybody with eyes that are designed to see more, then it's a tip at what they are missing with their regular eyes.
Activating their Sharingan, both brothers' eyes went wide at what they saw. Before one of them could even say a word, the sound of metal being drawn from a sheath was heard . . .
Well, here is the latest chapter, and I know, you waited so long, and then you get a cliffhanger. Sorry about that, but after thinking about how this story is pretty much an alternate version of the canon, with a lot of arcs kind of becoming no good, and feeling too lazy to do a rewrite, decided to throw in a couple of arcs of my own, one of them involving Uzu, since for some reason, the canon never lets Naruto pay the ruins a visit to see if there is anything from there that can help him out in the long run, and yet, Sasuke pays a visit to a Mask Shrine that was built by the Uzumaki, and thought that was pretty messed up, considering how Naruto don't seem to learn too much about his Uzumaki heritage. Also, might throw in a couple of mini-arcs from the canon, since those can be reprogram this story in a way. Anyway, Read and Review, and have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
