WHY I'M SO STUPID?

Well, here you go, another chapter.
{Naruto}
Ame
In a dark room, looking over an endless pouring rain, stood Nagato, aka Pain. By his side was Konan, who was looking into the room, where three corpses belonging to the three former Elders of Konoha. "Did you learn anything from their souls, Pain?" Konan asked.
"Besides a lot of worthless loathing towards those younger than themselves, they did have interesting information." Pain said. Turning around, "Especially that fool Danzo, and how it was because of him we lost Yahiko."
Konan gave Danzo a glare, "So Konoha did have a hand in Hanzo's paranoia." She said.
"No, it was his own doing, with the intent of using the village as a scapegoat if caught." Pain said. "Along with some other things that would have put him in worse trouble if all the nations were to find out certain truths."
"Did you learn anything important about the Kyubi Container?" Konan asked.
"Yes, I have, and it looks like the boy has his own Rinnegan eyes?" Pain answered, getting her attention, "Although he seems to have a different variation, since he can do things like turn it on and off at will."
Konan's eyes widened at this, "Any idea on what that means?" She asked.
"I'm not sure entirely, I would have to think about it." Pain said, shocking Konan that he didn't say anything about being a god. "What I do know is that we need to be careful of you know who." He then started to walk out, with Konan not too far behind, knowing who he was talking about.
At a nearby wall, a figure stepped out of nowhere, an orange-spiral mask on his face. No word was spoken, yet the eye in the only hole of the mask gave off a slight glare.
{Naruto}
Konoha-Hospital
Sakura is in a room, healing Hinata, who has been training alongside Kin, Sasuke, Itachi, Kisame, Tenten, as well as a member of ANBU, who accepted in becoming a Jonin for a while, named Yamato. They are being trained to travel with Naruto, in order to arrange with the other Kages to consider making peace talks in order to fight against Akatsuki.
While Sakura wanted to go with Naruto on the trip, she understood the main reason why Tsunade picked the group as she did. It would prevent personal feeling from interfering during times when they shouldn't, bringing the wrong kind of attention on certain individuals, and as Tsunade puts it, she didn't want to run the risk of any of her kunoichi returning with something extra.
The one thing that does make her laugh is a one-sided 'argument' between Temari and Shikamaru. Turns out that Gaara has volunteered her to be the Suna representative for the trip, and she would be required to leave Shikamaru behind. It went along the lines of Shikamaru finally getting some rest, and Temari saying something along the lines of an 'apology' for wearing him out from all of the 'work' she had to do during their intimate moments.
"So what were you training on that got you this bruised up?" Sakura asked.
"Oh they are trying to get me to fight with my other senses, in case an opponent finds a way to take out my eyes completely long to gain some sort of advantage." Hinata explained. "The downside to bloodlines is that while it can be a person's greatest strength when mastered enough, yet can be their greatest weakness."
"And how is that going so far? Sakura asked. Her hands healing her arms, while noticing that some parts of Hinata's hair appear to have some singe marks.
"It's starting to make me feel a bit like an academy student again, just starting with the basics." Hinata said, "Naruto places a seal on me, that prevented me to activate my eyes at any time, trying to ensure that I can try to fight without it."
"Did Sasuke have to do the training as well?" Sakura asked, while maintaining her focus.
"He volunteered." Hinata said, "After telling us about Zabuza, and how he was able to give Kakashi a challenge, Sasuke decided it would be better to be ready to deal with such weaknesses. Although he and Naruto . . ."
"Still look for an excuse to see how extreme they can go when they fight each other." Sakura said, "I know, I'm pretty sure the village felt all of the shockwaves." Recalling how Karen decided to heal Sasuke in a more painful way.
When Hinata glanced at Sakura, she noticed that the pink-haired woman looked like she has seen better days. "Are you feeling well, Sakura?" Hinata asked, "You look like you seen better days."
Sakura gave her a small smile, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just feeling tired." She said. "Me and Naruto haven't exactly been doing much sleeping lately, that I'm running low on energy."
While Hinata blushed at the statement, her concern brought up a question. "Um Sakura, I'm not sure how to ask you this . . ." She started off, getting Sakura's attention, "But have you taken a pregnancy test yet?"
Sakura gave her a questioning look, until her eyes widen. "No, but I well once I'm done here." She said, while making sure to keep her focus on healing the Hyuga woman before her.
{Naruto}
Hokage Tower
In the office, Tsunade was sitting behind her desk, with Shizune standing faithfully on one side, and Jiraiya on the other, trying not to break out laughing. The reason why is because Tsunade is giving a certain blonde a really exasperated look, due to the fact that the village experienced a strong earthquake caused by a collision of him and a young Uchiha's 'friendly' sparring/training.
"So Naruto, what jutsus were you and Sasuke using that once again caused the village to become all shook up once again?" Tsuande asked, feeling angry over the fact that the boys caused her to drop her final bottle of sake just before she opened it.
"None, Sakura showed us how to use chakra control to enhance are taijutsu about a month ago." Naruto said, catching her off guard. "Me and Sasuke spent about a month working on our chakra control exercises, and we were checking to how far along we came."
"And I take it you both were trying to hold back on the amount of chakra you use in your attacks?" Tsunade asked, not sure if she should be surprised that the two boys with the highest chakra pools would try to learn how to use one her techniques.
"Yeah, Sasauke was able to get half of his chakra under control, while I was only able to get a third of mine." Naruto explained. "Our fists connected with the other's face, which lead to the shockwave."
"Knocking out a few teeth in the process, right?" Jiraiya asked, mainly talking from experience on being the receiving end of one of Tsunade's punches.
"And fracturing a few others, which are either healing or growing back in painfully." Naruto said, "The downside of having a strong healing factor."
Just before they can continue their chat, a frighteningly loud "Naruto!" rang out through the village. One every person within the room knows very well.
"What did you do to make Sakura that angry, kid?" Jiraiya asked, looking towards the direction it came from.
"No idea. I mean the one thing that might set her off is if . . ." Naruto started to say, until his train of thought derailed. 'Uh Kurama, did either of us remembered to use . . ."
As if to beat him to that question, the doors burst open, revealing a Sakura so angry, it is taking the hidden ANBU all of their strength not to soil themselves. "Naruto, I'm pregnant!" She yelled out, before field kicking him right in the crotch, launching him right literally right through the roof.
Here is the latest chapter, sorry it took so long, my creative juices ran out. Took a long while before I can get a full tank again, especially with life throwing a few things my way. While I well see this story through, I give you guarantees that the gap between them would be any shorter. Read and Review, and if 2022 ends up feeling like 2020, good luck on surviving it.
