Sorry for not updating in a while I was busy doing school work and test and I decided to rewrite the story since there are some grammar mistake and the plot a bit confusing to people. So without further let's get into the story
The boy woke up from his sleep startled by his dreams, the boy has brown hair, and deep blue eyes as deep as the ocean, he was 16. This was Shinji Ikari son of Gendo Ikari and Yui Ikari, the grandson of the famous scientist Juuzo Ikari.
'That felt so real' Shinji thought, ever since he was 10 he was getting dreams of an older version of him fighting in an apocalyptic wasteland, even though he thought that he was dreaming it felt so real, it's like it happen before but he doesn't know when or where
The boy wake from the bed going to the bathroom to do his daily routine consisting of taking a shower, eat breakfast, and going to school. 'Just another boring day in my life' the boy thought getting out of the bathroom wearing his school uniform and going down stairs to eat his breakfast
"Morning grandpa" Said Shinji to his grandfather sitting in the dining table reading his newspaper. "morning Shinji" Said the old man putting down the newspaper and drinking his coffee. This is juuzo Ikari the grandfather of Shinji ikari, "nightmare?" He ask to he's grandson looking worried
"Yeah" Shinji replied to his grandfather "I'll be cooking today what do you want grandpa?" He ask to his grandfather
"Just anything you make" Replied the old man "Alright" Shinji said preparing the dishes to cook his and his grandfather breakfast. Ever since he's got the nightmares Shinji started to cook as his coping mechanism to get rid of his restless nights. He has a lot of cooking recipe and perfected it to the point it's so delicious that people want second or third
Juuzo thought his cooking reminded of his late daughter, yui Ikari who died in the contact experiment of Unit-01, that traumatized Shinji to the point of the boy forgetting it to cope the lost of his mother. Juuzo was livid at the death of his daughter that he quit, the Evangelion project and started to built his own super robot without the use of those biological frame the Evangelion use to make out for its height and size.
The project is called project Z using the newest strongest metal super alloy-z. it was fairly new at the time that the head of the organization Seele declared using it on the Evangelion, but for some reason the prototype Evangelion unit-01 rejected the metal entirely, the metal started to corrode the frame of the evangelion, that made the organization Seele the head of the project Keel Lorenz rejecting the metal.
After the death of his daughter, Gendo Shinji father decided that he could not support Shinji and sent him away to his grandfather, last time Juuzo saw him he was a broken mess, after losing the love of his life he started to drink away his sorrow. But somehow he got back up and started becoming cold and calculating all the time, Juuzo was starting to think that his son in law loses it completely.
Shinji put the plate of food down at his grandfather table, bringing the old man out of his thoughts. "Thank you Shinji" Juuzo said to his grandson. Shinji just nodded and put his plate of food at his table and started to eat. "So you got any girls you like?" The old man said to the boy.
"W-what?" The boy startled at his grandfather question his face turning red at the sudden question. "So you do have one" Juuzo laugh at his grandson attempt to deny it but stop. "So who is it?" The old man said. Shinji just blush but reply to his grandfather "well there is one girl she has red hair and she's pretty" Said Shinji, Juuzo just laugh louder at Shinji expanse.
"S-shut it grandpa" Shinji said to his grandfather still having a red face, Juuzo fell to the floor laughing and trying to breathe, "haha i-i can't b-breathe" Still lauging Shinji just shout at his grandfather.

Shinji park his motorcycle in the parking lot taking his bag and going to the school entrance, "Morning Shinji" Shinji turns around and look at the girl, this is Hikari Horaki the class rep of class 3-A or the class rep of Shinji classroom.
"Morning Hikari" Replied Shinji as he continue to walk to the classroom, "so how was your day?" Hikari ask the boy, Shinji just replied fine and goes to his sit
The bell rung and the students go inside their classroom, the teacher walk in, Hikari ordered the students like normal "stand, bow, sit" The girl with the glasses said with order. After that The teacher started explaining what happened before Second Impact, 'yup just another boring day in my life' thought Shinji.
Lunch went by and Shinji was sitting at the roof eating his lunch. "Yo Shinman" Somebody shouted, Shinji look up from his lunch box, there was 2 boys, the first boy is much more taller then the one wearing glasses he has black hair and black eyes as the night sky, this is Toji Suzuhara the jock of the group, the other boy the one wearing glasses has blonde with mix of brown hair and brown eyes, this is Kensuke Aida the nerd or geek of the group.
"You okay Shinji?" Kensuke ask to his friend, Shinji let out a tired sigh and nodded hoping it worker, Kensuke sensing something wrong didn't bring it up again. "Well if you want you could join us after school to play in the arcade" Kensuke said hoping to cheer Shinji up.
Shinji let out a tired smile "alright" Shinji replied, "great meet you there" Said Toji finishing his lunch and walking to the door of the roof with Kensuke following him. Shinji packed up his bento box and could see the view of the city from the roof.
Shinji heard some noise below him, looking down he could see a redhead girl talking to Hikari complaining about her blind date that she set up for her she has a bright red hair and deep blue eyes, this is Asuka Langley Shikinami pilot of Unit-02, she was transfered to Municipal Junior High School last year, she was from Germany Asuka Langley Shikinami has a reputation as the prettiest girl in School.
Toji, Kensuke, and him were called the three stooges from her, Shinji doesn't even know how his friend group got that nickname, after being called that Toji and Kensuke started to rebel and call her the red devil as to oppose the devil in disguise of a redheaded girl mainly Asuka, "Why do you even set me up a blind date Hikari? The last guy was boring as hell" Asuka said to her bestfriend, Hikari just sigh at her friend antics of ditching guys in the middle of a date.
Shinji kept on listening to Asuka rambling on her worst date before the bell rung and Lunchtime was over, With the bell ringing Shinji headed right back to the classroom to listen to his teacher teaching rambling all about before second impact, After spending time with Toji and Kensuke in the arcade after School Shinji walked back to the parking lot that he parked his bike in, Hopefully tomorrow is not going to be boring as hell, with that thought in mind he ride his bike in the direction of his home.
Juuzo was finishing his last touches to the Super Robot Project Z or he likes to call it Mazinger Z with the finishing touches done his life greatest work was done until he heard a blaring Alarm at his computer, Juuzo quickly run to his computer turning on the screen he sees a massive creature over 100 meters tall and having a halo at the top of it's head, the creature is walking down the streets of Tokyo-3 destroying the area launching AT-Fields in its hands like a missile, Juuzo panicked the last time he saw the dead sea scrolls it was supposed to be in a few months away before the angels arrive. Juuzo quickly starts to prep up the Hover Pilder for Shinji, he just hope that the hover pilder will reach in time. "Hover Pilder Launch!" Juuzo shouted, activating its voice commands the Pilder started to flew in the direction Shinji,
Shinji was Riding his bike through the city as fast as he can, Ever since the alarms of the city went on Things has begun to be chaotic when he saw a 100 meter tall creature destroying the city, the military started firing at the creature Shinji even after getting as far as possible using his Motorcycle all he could hear was explosions coming from the city, he hope that his friends are safe and sound, when he look back he saw a giant Red robot coming from the ground and started fighting the creature, yep he has all seen it know maybe he is getting crazy in his mind.
Before he could even turn to the left, The giant Red Robot was flung right in front of him Shinji Screech his Motorcycle a halt, The Robot was flung into the building in front of him destroying the building in the process, he could hear a girl voice from the speakers from the robot.
"Misato there's a civilian in front of me" He could hear from the robot in front of him, he turn around and saw the creature starting to run towards him and the robot. The red robot stands up and went into a battle stance, "run" Said the robot in the speaker she doesn't need to tell him twice with that he turns the motorcycle and went away from the battle field.
Asuka gritted her teeth in pain when her Unit was flung into a building when she look down she saw Shinji 'Shinji?' She thought before saying to her superior in the comms "Misato there is a civilian in front of me" She said to the comms the screen open revealing a woman with purple hair and black eyes, this is Misato Katsuragi the operation director of N.E.R.V "tell him to run! Asuka the Angel is coming towards you fast." Misato ordered to the girl. Asuka willed her Eva to stand and get it into a battle stance before saying run to Shinji "run" She said
Asuka willed her Eva to jump and send a kick into the Eva, the Angel used it's flexible body to wrap it's arms around the Eva leg before launching Unit-02 to a side of the mountain where Shinji and his grandfather lived. "Scheiße" Asuka said in pain, she hope nobody was in the house she just destroyed
When Shinji reached to his home all he saw is the wreckage of his house, "no... No.. No grandpa!" Shinji sprint off his bike and goes into the wreckage, hoping his grandfather is safe somewhere in the wreckage
He then hears the noise above looking up he saw the creature looking down upon him "SHINJI HOP INSIDE THE PILDER" Shinji hears his grandpa voice looking to the side of the creature he saw the Pilder flying towards him, Shinji somehow knew what to do when he see the Pilder flying towards him.
Shinji nodded knowing what to do before the Angel could attack him, Shinji jumped into the air and perfectly landed in the pilot seat of the Hover Pilder, seeing the controls he manuver the Pilder away from the angel.
Unit-02 went behind the angel and grabbed the angel by its neck strangling it, "DIE" He could hear the shout from the red giant robot.
Asuka was very desperate right about now, she was flung by God how many times by this Angel and all she could think was killing this piece of shit creature called an Angel, she could hear from her comms Misato telling her to move "Asuka move the Angel will use it's AT-Field"
Before she could even react the Angel produce its AT-Field from behind launching Unit-02 to the side of the mountain again. "Scheiße, NOT AGAIN" Asuka shouted frustrated at the predicament.
Shinji was really getting crazy now he doesn't even know how to fly this Pilder his grandpa like to called it and his body just move on its own, maybe this is just a nightmare yeah? Nope it's not "How do I even fly this thing?" Shinji panick he saw a lot of buttons and lever and the main controller seems to work as Motorcycle.
"Shinji calm down, listen to me" He could hear from his grandfather voice calming him down from his panick attack. "Good listen I modified the Pilder to work as a Motorcycle, I want you to turn around and head to the house you will see it right about now" Listening to his granfather Shinji gripped the controls of the Hover Pilder.
Turning the Pilder around to the house he could hear and see a giant explosion coming from the house the flames he could see a giant silluet, Shinji eyes widen at the site of the explosion he could see a giant robot over 60 meter tall.
Shinji could see it's face, it's the face from his nightmare except it's not smiling and it's body is not wider in the dreams, "Shinji, if you can hear me this is my greatest invention Mazinger Z" Shinji could hear his grandpa laugh at his greatest invention.
