Author's Note: Hello my loves! So, this chapter has a little bit of spice to it - not too much or anything, but my first attempt at it, so please be as gentle as you can. I know it's not good. I'm sorry about the long wait! I do hope that you enjoy!

"Where is Neytiri?" Neteyam asks Jake and Tsu'tey, turning away from the frowns of his chief and father. He's not sure what exactly he said that seemed to displease either of them, but the two forest Na'vi seem to have noticed that they were talking in sign now, and while they were respectful enough not to say anything or interrupt, Neteyam thought it rude to keep going as if they weren't there. "Is she unwell?"

Tsu'tey pointedly looks at Jake who says, easily, "Neytiri just wanted to get the home straightened up. We didn't get as much done yesterday as we wanted before the kids gave up on us. They were all tired from the long trip."

Neteyam frowns at that. "Would she like some help? I know we just sort of dumped a whole lot of unnecessary stuff on you yesterday." Neteyam could slap himself in the forehead. His ears press back in distress as he rubs at his arms to work out some of the nervous, upset energy that fired through him. "Oh no. I should have asked instead of just bringing all that stuff over after you all had such a long flight. I probably just made moving in harder. I'm so sorry."

Neteyam feels Tao'su's hand running back and forth across his shoulder blades as Tsu'tey says, "Don't be. What you did, what you brought us, it was all very thoughtful."

"Yeah," Jake says, offering a light smile. "You didn't have to do that. It was very sweet of you to think of us."

"I should have waited a few days instead of just..." Neteyam sighs, ears flipping back, then forward, then back again, as he pushes his half-eaten sandwich away to pull his knees to his chest. "I'm sorry. I get too excited sometimes and just don't think."

"Don't say that," Tsu'tey rasps softly, placing a hand on Jake's knee. "We appreciate your kindness. Truly."

Hesitantly, with his tail kicking up the sand beneath him a bit, he carefully asks, "You mean it? You aren't just saying that?"

Tsu'tey nods. "We do."

Neteyam smiles, looking at his fingers tapping on his kneecaps. He really hadn't intended on making anything more difficult for the Sully family. He honestly did just want to make them feel welcomed and help them out with anything that they would need. He vouched for them to stay, he wanted to ensure that the transition was as easy as possible. Maybe he should stop by - in a day or two - and see if Neytiri needed any help. It was the right thing to do. He was the one that made it all just a little bit harder for them, even if it hadn't been his intention. And maybe seeing the marui become theirs would finally put any tiny lingering doubts in his heart to rest.

Not so benevolent in his actions as he desperately tries to make others believe, the little voice in the back of his head hisses. He pushes the thoughts away, banishing them into the depths of his mind.

He feels Tao'su pull away a second before arms loop around him, hooking under his thighs giving his folded body a tight squeeze before pulling back enough for Neteyam to jerk around, surprised.

"Ao'nung," Neteyam gasps, unfolding enough to twist around all the way to see his betrothed. "You scared me!"

Ao'nung grins that weak-in-the-knees grin that Neteyam just loves. Neteyam studies his expression, looking for the same sullen attitude from yesterday, but he seems to be more playful now, which Neteyam will accept without complaint. They have to talk, he knows that they do, to bring peace to that conversation, as soon as they both have had time to adjust and acclimate to the decision.

"You must be in your head if your big ol' ears didn't hear me sneaking up on you," Ao'nung says playfully, reaching to gently run his thumb down one of the aforementioned ears.

Neteyam laughs even though he can feel Tonowari's radiating disapproval at the joke. Neteyam spots a stray eyelash on one of Ao'nung's cheeks, so he reaches forward to press a finger onto it and pull it away. He holds it up for Ao'nung to see.

"Close your eyes," Neteyam says sweetly.

Ao'nung rolls those cerulean orbs, lowering his hand to dangle between his knees. "Great Mother."

"Do it, you big baby," Neteyam laughs, feeling his tail swoosh in amusement behind him.

"You and your weird forest people things," he sighs but the smile doesn't leave his face as he closes his eyes.

"Make a wish." A pause, then, "Did you do it?"

"Mhm."

"Then blow."

A moments pause. Ao'nung sucks in a breath and then turns his head slightly to blow hard enough on Neteyam's face for his braids to go crazy. Ao'nung grins, opening his eyes to see Neteyam bending over slightly, laughing and shaking his head.

"I should have known!" He laughs, hearing a chuckle from some of the men behind him, one of which is definitely his dad. "The lash, skxawng!"

Ao'nung's smile gentles slightly and gives a little blow and the lash is gone, but he's too occupied staring at Neteyam's own smiling face.

"If you're good, your wish will come true," Neteyam says, fixing his braids, still smiling.

Ao'nung shrugs, adjusting his weight on his hunches. "It's okay. My wish already came true."

Neteyam flushes, looking down at the sand, willing his tail not to wag before smiling up at his betrothed. "I wish you were this sweet all the time," he says playfully, eyes crinkling.

Ao'nung laughs, blue eyes sparkling. "I don't know how you got everyone fooled but I am definitely the nicer of the two of us. You just say hurtful things in a sweet tone and people think you're nice!"

Neteyam laughs, teetering forward and backward, brushing against his dad and feeling him shake a bit with his chuckle.

"I do not!"

"No one in the world calls me a skxawng more than you," Ao'nung says, through a laugh, eyes crinkling.

"Maybe not to your face, you are the Chief's son," Neteyam says innocently. His eyes light up at Ao'nung's laugh, dropping his chin to his chest as he shakes his head. He leans forward, resting his forehead against Neteyam's shoulder.

Neteyam feels a gentle kiss placed there. And then another where his collar bone meets his shoulder, before pulling back with that grin that Neteyam just melts at. Right in front of their dads too. Ao'nung is getting pretty brazen. Maybe they have more than just the marui to talk about.

"We should go to our place," he says suddenly.

Neteyam blinks, not at all prepared for him to have said that. Admittedly, it has been a while since the two of them have gone to their place. They thought it would be harder to do once they officially were promised to one another, but Neteyam has been careful to prove himself responsible, no matter how hard Ao'nung makes it for him. And even though his parents - and Ao'nung's dad, as his mom was certainly willing to kill her son for breaking Eywa's law, so she had little fears - were worried about them, Neteyam managed to prove enough for the both of them that he would be able to keep his hands - and Ao'nung's - away from each other. "Really? Right now?"

Ao'nung shrugs. "Sure. I'm not doing anything."

Neteyam sends him a look. "How about helping the Sully kids?"

"Tsireya has it," he says easily. "She's doing a great job."

Neteyam rolls his eyes. "I'm sure she is, but you still should help. Besides, I have some more things I want to go over with Jake and Tsu'tey so you," he says meaningfully, "should go back and help her until I'm done."

"I know, I'm kidding," Ao'nung says, waving away his look. And no doubt the one that Tonowari was sending him over Neteyam's shoulder. "We are taking a short break and I saw you over here. When you're done?"

Neteyam nods, smiling shyly. "Yes, please. Make sure to ask your mother if she needs anything and I'll do the same."

Ao'nung nods back, reaching forward to push Neteyam's hair back over his shoulders, then a pause so microscopic that Neteyam almost missed it. His body is moving before his brain can fully comprehend. If it wasn't for Tao'su's lightning-fast reflexes, the back of Neteyam's head would have slammed into the white sands behind him, but instead the back of his head is safely cradled in his father's hand while his foot launches out and presses against Ao'nung's chest to keep him back. Ao'nung's outstretched hand where Neteyam's head once was.

Specifically, his forehead.

"It's mine," Neteyam says, applying a touch of pressure to push Ao'nung back just an inch, staring at his impressed, wide blue eyes. "I told you that you could have it back when I'm dead. Don't touch, 'Nung."

Ao'nung stares at Neteyam, his eyes wide in a form of reverence. He draws his hand back, running it along Neteyam's shin. He brings his other hand up to cup his ankle and bright his foot down to his lap, still just staring at Neteyam in awe.

"How did you..?" Ao'nung starts, then shakes his head. "No, never mind that." That awed grin that spreads across Ao'nung's face, ties a very small, but distracting knot in Neteyam's lower stomach. And it only intensifies when Ao'nung says, voice slightly lower, "I am obsessed with you, you know that, right?"

Carefully, using his incredible balance, he rolls along his spine up onto the foot that isn't on Ao'nung's lap, raising slowly, being sure not to put any weight on his betrothed. He didn't want to hurt him. He straightens up, staring down at Ao'nung's dark but revered look, and smiles, eyes darkening a bit which makes Ao'nung take a small breath. All of this taking place in just seconds, as he nods towards the ocean behind him.

"Good," he says, voice raspy and soft. Ao'nung's ears twitch almost unnoticeably. "Now go help your sister, 'Nung. We have lessons to finish."

He stands, slowly. He holds his hands up and backs up just as slowly, hungry eyes looking him up and down. "Yes, Tsakarem," he says, tipping his head respectfully. "I'll see you in a bit."

Neteyam brings his other foot down behind the one he's standing on, hooking his ankles together. He folds his hands behind him, pressing them into the base of his tail to keep it from swaying. He shakes his head when Ao'nung glances back at him. A bit further up the beach, Tsireya is walking with Lo'ak toward the water, Tuk and her sister a foot or so behind them.

Neteyam shakes his head, willing the knot in his stomach to loosen as he turns back toward his father, Chief and the two newcomers. "Sorry about him. He likes to joke." Tao'su snorts while Tonowari shakes his head a bit, a small smile on his face. He steps back towards the water, thanking the Great Mother that the gentle wind was blowing toward him and not toward them, he might of had to kill Ao'nung if it was. While thinking that, he says, "Take some time to gather yourselves and eat a bit more, Jake, Tsu'tey, I'll be out here with Shixo when you're ready."

"Are you sure you're done eating?" Tao'su asks as Tsu'tey's mouth opens. He glances at Tao'su and closes his mouth, pursing full lips.

Neteyam nods, glancing down into the water as he steps passed the waves. His morphed reflection stares back at him, but he smiles lightly, looking over at his dad. "Yeah, I'm okay." Tao'su's mouth pulls down a bit. Neteyam's ears perk at the look. "What? Is something wrong?"

"I would like for you to eat more, Neteyam," Tao'su admits. "Your mother is..." he hesitates before bringing his hands up and signing, quickly, "She's worried that you're losing weight again. You get so preoccupied with everything going on around you and everything that you're doing that you let your body suffer. If not anything more now, try to eat more at dinner." Tonowari's eyes follow the movement, but Jake and Tsu'tey are both lost, and also obviously concerned just from Tao'su's question.

Neteyam frowns at that, looking down at his half-eaten sandwich. He knows that it's one of his bad habits when he starts getting too busy. He just jam packs his days with so much stuff that he forgets. It's not like he does it intentionally, but his parents always worry about him. His physical wellbeing has a lot - they think - to do with how he handles visions from Eywa. If he's unwell, it might affect him more. It's why Neteyam tries hard to gauge his mental fortitude, because he knows that plays a part in it. It's why some days he knows that he's strong enough to handle what Eywa wishes for him to see, and why he knows on other days that he isn't.

But he doesn't intend to not eat or make people worried.

In times like this, he could still eat, he was just worried about his dad, chief and students scenting arousal on him from Ao'nung. But well, thankfully, that feeling is long dead, so there isn't a problem with going back. He just... hadn't realized that he was worrying his mother again. Which is never his intention.

Neteyam walks back over to his dad and lowers to a sit next to him, offering a little smile. "I forgot about my sandwich," he says, which isn't entirely untrue. He tries not to feel guilty about the relief in his dad's eyes as he takes a bite more of his sandwich. He gives a little laugh, shaking his head. "He knows how to rattle me without even trying. I never know what he's going to do next."

"You two seem to be pretty close," Jake mentions off-handedly, smiling kindly.

Neteyam leans into the hand rubbing at his back, relieved that the tension that was building up is dissipating, but now he has to keep in mind that he's accidently skipping meals and he doesn't want to worry his mom any more than he already has. He chews before swallowing, saying around a smile, "Ao'nung? Yeah. He's my betrothed."

Jake smiles slightly more, keeping his eyes steady on Neteyam. "That's good. You seem to really like him."

Neteyam blushes deeply, looking down at his sandwich. "I do. No one tell him, though." Tonowari busts out a laugh at that, genuinely amused. He pats at his chest while shaking his head. He takes another bite of his sandwich, leaning into his father's side, feeling his rumble of amusement from the shaking on his shoulder. Neteyam lets out a little laugh. "I'm just kidding. He's really great, isn't he?"

"From the bit I've seen of him, he seems pretty crazy about you," Jake says, placating.

Neteyam laughs, finally raising his eyes to smile at Jake. "I know you've only just gotten here, but you'll see, Ao'nung can be pretty amazing when he wants to be."

"I should have known you were up to no good," Neteyam groans, his head falling back against the trunk of the tree behind him as Ao'nung kisses and sucks at his throat. Neteyam's bleary eyes glance around the forest to make sure that no one was about to walk up on them. "Don't leave a mark, 'Nung, our parents know that we're out here."

Ao'nung hums, one hand hiking up Neteyam's leg around his hip while the other is gently pulling at the free-flowing bottom half of his hair, nails lightly scraping at his scalp, making him shiver as a bulge press against him. A delicious heat washing over him as Neteyam's raspy voice escapes him in a low groan, one of his own hands sliding up from Ao'nung's shoulder to the back of his neck, pulling him closer despite his words.

Ao'nung's lips move down to his collarbone and his teeth skim across the skin there, making Neteyam shiver a bit, his hooked leg squeezing tighter, pressing their groins together a bit more, making both boys groan. Ao'nung's hands both fall to Neteyam's hips, pulling them close in a near bruising grip, grinding them together. Neteyam's mouth falls open in a deep panting, chest heaving.

"Please, Neteyam," Ao'nung groans, panting heavily into Neteyam's throat. "Please. So long as we don't form tsahaylu, we aren't breaking any laws." A delicious wave of pleasure washes over both of them as Neteyam shifts his weight slightly on his one leg, making both of them groan again. "Please. 'Teyam. I'll beg if I have to."

Lust-filled mind grasping at whatever shreds of rationality that he still has, gives Neteyam a resentful pause. He shakes his head, opening bleary eyes that he doesn't remember closing, to scan the forest again. "We can't," he says, voice shaking. He shivers as another wave of pleasure shoots up his spine, panting harder as Ao'nung rubs them harder together. Struggling to catch his breath, he says, raspy and low, "You're a child, 'Nung. We.. ahh... we can't."

"I'm not a child," Ao'nung growls, and as if to make a point, one of the hands on his hips slides around to lightly run along his tail, pumping the base enough to turn Neteyam's spine to jelly. "Great Mother, I love your little tail."

"Ao'nung," Neteyam whimpers, wrapping his arms around his neck, fighting to keep from just giving in. "Oh, Great Mother. Oh..." He shivers, shaking his head to try and clear it a bit before forcing Ao'nung's lust-drunk eyes onto his own, and through gasping breath, he says, "I can't. You might be older than me... but you aren't yet recognized by the clan. Please, 'Nung. This is about respect." He shivers, that hand on his tail runs a thumb down the bottom of it, pressing lightly at where it meets his behind. Neteyam lets out another low groan, shivering and sinking into the feeling, eyes rolling up into his head as pleasure shoots straight to his groin.

"I respect you," Ao'nung insists, pressing a kiss to his numb lips. "I'll be so respectful. Please, Neteyam, you're so wet for me. Please."

"It's not just me," Neteyam whispers through raspy breath. He pulls Ao'nung's lips back to his, kissing him softly despite the fire in his veins demanding that he open up and devour the other boy. And let himself get devoured in return. There is a throbbing ache between his legs that demands attention. But Neteyam pushes it down, forcing Ao'nung to look at him. "It's about our parents," Neteyam says, and knowing Ao'nung, the thought of their parents immediately started killing the mood. "But it's also about you, 'Nung."

He squints at Neteyam, as if unable to see through his lust-filled gaze. "What?"

"Respect..." Neteyam whispers, petting down the curled strands of sweaty hair at the back of Ao'nung's neck. "It goes all ways. Our parents, because of our promise. Me, because I am one part of this coupling, and you, as the other part. As a child... you must maintain your purity. It is one of Eywa's laws. An adult can't force themselves upon a child. And besides, what if you change your mind?"

Ao'nung's face twists into confusion, a touch of anger building up in his eyes as he pulls back a bit. "What? Change my mind?"

"Your virginity is special," Neteyam says softly. "And this is for both of us. We can only give it up once. And I want to wait. Just a little longer."

"You don't want your first time to be with me?" Ao'nung asks, the anger morphing into hurt.

"I do," Neteyam insists, pulling Ao'nung's face close so that their foreheads are pressed together. "I want you so bad that it hurts. I want to remove our loincloths and form tsahaylu and be mated for the rest of our lives right now."

"We can," Ao'nung says, eyes brightening and smile spreading across his lips. "We can, right now! I don't want to wait any longer either!"

Neteyam laughs softly, pulling back a bit, shivering at the press against his groin, a shock of pleasure firing up his spine. "I can't have sex with you right now, 'Nung, even if we agree not to form tsahaylu. I can't."

Ao'nung's shoulders slump a bit, but not enough to stop supporting Neteyam's weight. "Why not..?"

Neteyam pulls Ao'nung close, pressing his lips to Ao'nung's left ear and whispers, "Because once you're inside of me, I probably won't ever let you leave. How are you supposed to become an adult with me stuck to you?"

Ao'nung groans, spine shaking a bit as he thrusts his hips into Neteyam's. He nods his breathless agreement to Neteyam's words, finally giving in before rubbing their hips together hard for that delicious friction, coupled with that hand that won't leave his tail alone, Neteyam quickly devolves into a drooling, panting mess. He keeps panting out Ao'nung's name, making the older boy grin with pride until they are both moaning their climax into the space between their lips, foreheads and noses pressed together, neither minding the betrothal gift that separates them.

Ao'nung sinks to the forest floor, wrapping Neteyam's other leg around his waist as he sandwiches the forest boy between himself and the tree. They sit there for a while, catching their breath and just relaxing in each other's arms. Neteyam's not sure when his hazy mind cleared enough, but at some point, he becomes aware of Ao'nung's arms wrapped tightly around him, their chest pressed close and he's just quietly listening to Neteyam's purring, feeling the vibrations from his chest and throat.

Neteyam flushes, looking away. Reef Na'vi don't purr. They rumble a bit, if they practice, like his mama did to try and simulate something his own mother might have done when he was a baby to sooth him - probably? - but nothing like Neteyam's purr. The kids, when they were young, used to make fun of him for it. For his obviously more feline like aspects. He learned quickly to stop purring whenever something greatly pleased him, or when he was freely offering comfort to others outside of his home and his family. Now, it's usually only reserved for Rowee. To comfort him. To put him to sleep. But even those times are becoming fewer and further between.

"Do it," Ao'nung whispers softly in his ear. "Please."

Neteyam hesitates for a split second, consumed with a fear of being picked on, before forcing the feeling away. It's been a really long time since anyone really directly picked on him, seeing as most of his childhood bullies were Ao'nung and his stupid friends, since he and Ao'nung became friends, they've backed off quite a bit, and when they became promised to one another, they backed off all together. And even though it's been a while, long enough that he should be over it, there is a twinge of fear. Those years were extremely hard for Neteyam. He bottled a lot of himself up back then. And a lot never came out again.

One arm wraps around Neteyam's waist tighter while a hand buries into the hair at the nape of his neck, holding him closer. "I'm sorry, 'Teyam. Please purr for me," Ao'nung says softly, regret in his voice. No doubt he remembers those days just as keenly as Neteyam does.

Another moment of hesitation before Neteyam buries his face into Ao'nung's neck and begins to purr lightly, still hesitant. Ao'nung sighs softly, wrapping tighter around him, just listening to the sound and enjoying the feel, giving Neteyam confidence to be louder.

"I'm sorry," Ao'nung says softly, nuzzling closely. "Please, forgive me, Neteyam. I'm sorry for taking that piece away, I'm so sorry."

Neteyam purrs louder, hugging him closer and nuzzle more into the side of Ao'nung's head, confidence raising. He wraps his arms tighter around Ao'nung's shoulders, smiling softly around his purring. Any anger that Neteyam may have had in the past, he forgave a long time ago. Neteyam learned a long time ago that the reef was no place for a forest boy.

"Okay," Neteyam says, retying his loincloth, casting a playful glare at Ao'nung in time to catch his wandering eyes. "Now that we're cleaned up, we should go get our lists from our moms done."

Ao'nung leans down, letting his hand be washed by the waves brushing against the beach, pretending that he wasn't caught peaking. "Sorry. I know you wanted to explore a bit and I.. well," his smile is sultry even if it's toward the water, "got caught up doing something very... time consuming."

Neteyam rolls his eyes, fighting a smile. He glances down the beach, around the curve of the island, he can see the very edge of the longest dock of Awa'atlu. Their special place was on the other side of the beach - which isn't really a special place, but it is where they go to get a level of privacy. Not that Neteyam's home wasn't hidden by the curve of the island and the large rock formation that the Skimwing's nest is built into that separates the two sides of the island, nearly bisecting half of the island. If Neteyam were to climb up on that rock formation, he could see the top of his marui.

That is, if he could scramble up the razor-sharp rock formation. But it's ill advised, though. Just running his hand across the rocks can slice up the flesh if he's not careful.

"Do I still smell?" Neteyam asks shyly, blushing at the wolfish grin that Ao'nung sends his way. He made sure to clean himself and his loincloth thoroughly, and while his senses are a lot keener than reef Na'vi's, there is definitely more forest Na'vi today than there was two days ago.

Ao'nung walks closer, running his hands up Neteyam's waist to breathe in the side of his neck, making Neteyam laugh, giving his shoulder a little shove. "You smell wonderful," Ao'nung says around a grin.

Neteyam pulls Ao'nung's face to his own, kissing his lips. The first one is a hard press of their lips, then the second one is softer, sweeter. They nuzzle a bit before Neteyam pulls back and breathes in Ao'nung, catching only hints of arousal. He kisses his lips once more, smiling pleased before taking his hand and heading out of the waves brushing against their thighs and back toward the forest.

Neteyam glances up at the sky to gauge how much time they have left before they'll be expected back. Neteyam picks up the bag that he left at the tree line and pulls the strap across his chest and immediately bounces up onto high roots, balancing across them as Ao'nung holds his hand, following from the forest floor.

Together, they gather what Rhalwari and Ronal both asked of them, filling up the bag at Neteyam's side. Neteyam took every extravagant way he could to get what they wanted. He would walk across thin roots, climb up tall trees, leap elegantly from branch to branch. He just happily skipped around on the balls of his feet, feeling the muscle memory easily come back to him.

Ao'nung used to be scared to see him up so high, walking across thin branches, hopping and bouncing and almost, dancing from place to place, but there was never a trip. Never a slip or loss of balance of any kind. Now, he just watches in blatant awe as Neteyam skips from one precarious situation to another, liquid movements in the trees matched only by Ao'nung's own elegance in the water - but even then, arguably, to Ao'nung, Neteyam is just as elegant and beautiful out there too. But the trees, the forest, Neteyam was built for it, even if he hardly got the chance to live it.

Once they got everything that their mothers wanted, Neteyam spent a little bit of time gathering the sweet berries and other fruit that he loved from the forest, happily placing all of it into his bag, tail wagging happily the whole time while Ao'nung followed after, smiling softly. Once that was done with, Neteyam made his way back down to the forest floor, took Ao'nung's hand and the two walked back towards the rock formation that would lead them to the side of his family's marui.

As the foliage gives way to rocks and white sand, roots from the massive mangrove tree on the other side of the village, Neteyam throws his head back, laughing at a story that Ao'nung was telling him, their feet kicking up water and sand as they make it back up onto the beach towards the back of the marui that Neteyam lives in. It isn't dark out just yet, but the sky is starting to transform from blue to a starburst of reds, oranges, pinks and yellows as the star descends to the horizon.

Neteyam can see the fire inside the marui, and can hear his brother laughing with their parents, talking about his day. He says something about, "not being able to hold their breath for very long" before the rest is muffled out.

They stop by the fire pit in front of the marui while Ao'nung digs around in Neteyam's bag, grabbing out everything without taking it off Neteyam's shoulder. The forest boy laughs, rolling his eyes before looking over at the water. Ao'nung's story starts to fade into white noise as a spinning circle of Eywa seeds catches Neteyam's attention. He blinks, looks away, then feels the pull, and his eyes go back to the circling Eywa seeds a few yards away. Neteyam feels himself being pulled into the spiraling seeds, more and more, his body feeling like it's falling away from his conscious mind.

Ao'nung's muffled voice reaches out to him suddenly. "Neteyam? Neteyam..? Are you...? Do you need help coming..." His voice is fading in and out. Pushing back and forth like the waves. Neteyam feels himself sink more and more, feeling the sensation of Eywa washing over him, beckoning him closer and closer, like a siren's call. She needs him to listen. She needs him to see.

And then, nothing.
