That's just how Taiga acts after all. "Your sensei is really proud of you! But did something happen to unlock your new potential!?" I met an Italian.
I sigh, I actually don't think I did particularly better in pratice today, but Taiga is surprisingly good at spotting stuff like this, so I'll trust her judgment. And it's not like I'm surprised I improved, that tends to happen when you fight someone much better than you.
Taiga ends the hug, and looks me deeply in the eye. "My little Miyamoto Musashi, please do not simply sigh and ignore my question. If you entered a phase, the heart of your mother might shatter into a million pieces." Why would my mo- Are you implying you're my mother!?
I smile. "Aren't I supposed to be Sasaki Kojirou? Then again, you are always inconsistent with that..." I shake my head. "Anyways, I just dueled with a really skilled guy, I guess it showed me I still have places to go. You could even say my Miyamoto Musashi found his own Sasaki Kojirou." But not really, since I don't consider him to be my rival.
Taiga quickly nods. "I see, have you considered cracking his skull when he isn't looking?" That's a bit too much Musashi, don't cha think!? "Still I get what you mean... To be honest I wish Shiro got the same opportunity..." Ah, the fake janitor?
I did hear rumors that she has been completely dominating the Archery Club, so I guess she could be in a similar position to mine. I wonder if there's any absurdly skilled bowman I can throw in her direction?
My teacher makes a thinking pose. "Rivalry makes someone improve, that's an absolute truth, but... what's the second next best method? Just what else can motivate a person?" Money...? Family...? Sex...?
Sex. "Love, at least that's what I think Sensei." When I hit someone with a sword, sometimes a picture of Rin or Sakura appears on my mind! Ah, dad and mom too, but that's obviously not sex related. L-Luvia appears too... That's due to sheer trauma though.
Suddenly, it's like Taiga has stars in her eyes. "You're so right! She spends all her day in that lonely damned shed, so if she got a boyfriend that would change!" She starts giggling. "Her archery skills will improve everytime her heart skips a beat!" I don't think that's how it works.
Actually I don't even really get what you're talking about. Are you trying to motivate Shiro...? And now that you have been convinced love is the best, does that mean... That you're gonna date her!? That's no good, I don't talk with the red haires girl enough to know if she's worthy of my cool sensei.
Sensei then makes a thinking pose. "But who would be worthy of dating my cute Shiro...?" Your cute Shiro? Does that mean you guys are already together!? And you still want to share her!? Well, I won't judge, even if I would never let another person touch Rin or Sakura in any romantic or sexual way. "Matou is definitely out..." Ah, he is pretty lame.
Taiga continues. "So is Ryuudou, they're already friends, so it would be awkward to push them in that direction..." Suddenly she grabs her head. "Ah, who am kidding! We all know where this is going!" We do!? "My pupil, list your good qualities, besides swordsmanship!" I don't have any though.
I pause for a moment to gather my thoughts, I genuinely don't know what to say... I guess I'm a good kisser according to Sakura? Wait, I know! "I'm a billionaire! And-" Before I can list my abilities as a kisser, Taiga stops me.
"Amazing, this is perfect. This is more than perfect! This is more than more than perfect! I'm taking you to the Archery Club!" Actually weren't you supposed to be there in the first place? You technically don't have anything to do with the Kendo Club, and you're supposed to manage the Archery Club...
Oh well, I sure won't question my wise sensei! So I silently follow her as she drags me around to her actual club. Besides, I already finished everything I needed to do today anyways!
Once we eventually arrive at the Archery Club, the first thing Taiga does is wave at Ayako. "Mitsuzuri! Where is Shiro!?" Is it wise to enter screaming? You're a teacher so you might scare people... Nah, sensei is always wise, from now on I shall follow her example and scream more.
Ayako sighs. "Changing, and speaking of missing peole, where were you?" Then she shakes her head, and looks at me. "Actually nevermind, we all know your secret passion." Ayako waves at me. "Yo Shibata, considering you're Luke Skywalker in the flesh I'm assuming you didn't come here to join the club?" Oh, I want a lightsaber. Can Waver get me one?
I shrug. "Ah, hello Mitsuzuri. You're right, I didn't come here to join, Taiga-Sensei just dragged me here." I smile. "I do think archery is pretty cool though." Always compliment a girl's hobbies! That's what dad taught me!
Ayako grins. "I see. Shame you don't think it's cool enough to drop Kendo... But I guess we have our own future legendary hero anyways." Then she glares at Taiga. "So, what do ya want with Emiya?" She just wants to motivate her girlfriend! I think!
Taiga has a serious look on. "I'm here to plan her future marriage." You're marrying her!? Well, I guess eventually people who love each other marry each other... Should I marry Rin and Sakura? Do people do that to their own concubines? Well, it will have to wait, since we haven't even banged yet.
Ayako sighs. "Well, that's Emiya's problem I suppose..." Suddenly Ayako has a big pout on. "She better not get a boyfriend faster than me, or I'll be pissed." I think marriage implies much more than simply dating!
Still this opens up an obvious opportunity! "Wait, you're single Mitsuzuri?" Actually now that I think about it, her answer doesn't really matter. Worst case I can just make her my concubine like Rin and Sakura.
Ayako smiles, it looks both like a teasing one and a happy one. "Oh? Are you interested?" She makes a thinking pose. "'Cause if you are... Well, I definitely consider it more then I did with Matou." Of course I am, you're cute!
Shinji, who was here all along, mutters. "Shut u-" I look at him, and he goes silent. And just like that we return to ignoring his existence. It actually makes me feel sort of bad, since he is the reason why Sakura is mine.
I give Ayako a smile. "I definitely am. To be honest you have to be one of the coolest people in class." And coolness is also a big factor in relationships! I hope Rin and Sakura think I'm cool...
Ayako blushes. "W-wow a straight answer..." She looks down. "Y-you know what? I wouldn't mind, let's go out or something, Shib-" And then she's cut off by one of the most dangerous animals to ever live.
It's my sensei. "No way! I won't let my cute Shiro lose like this! No way! No way! Get your paws off my pupil Mitsuzuri, you're a hundred years to young with a bow to date a sword master!" Taiga was silent until now, but it seems she exploded once a threat appeared.
"Won't let me lose what?" Ah, it seems the legendary Shiro Emiya has finally appeared. I guess she was changing to go home, because she's now wearing normal clothes, meaning she actually took off her archery clothing.
Taiga has tears in her eyes. "Lose your fate as Japan's greatest bowwoman to ever live! Stop her Shiro!" To that Shiro simply glares at Taiga and awaits for a real response. I'm guessing she has experience dealing with her teacher girlfriend...
Ayako sighs. "Emiya, Taiga-Sensei is ruining my possible love life, so please stop your dumbass mother or whatever." Wait!? Taiga is her mom!? Ew... Don't put those thoughts on my head or I might vomit! You bunch of freaks!
While Taiga throws a tantrum, Shiro's eyes twitch. "Sorry about her... Though she's more like my big sister." That's still bad though! "Anyways, what's this about a love life? Did you finally go out with Shinji?" Seaweed is still strangely silent as he stares at me... I wonder what Bug Man did to him?
Ayako then grins and puts one of her arms over my shoulder. "Can ya guess who's the lucky guy who just scored a date?" It's me! I'm the lucky guy! It was almost disappointingly easy though. I mean, I couldn't find a girlfriend before becoming Campione, but I guess I had a chance with Ayako all along.
I smile. "Ah, I always win one way or another." I didn't even need to throw my weight around for this one! Not that I would hesitate to do it of course, the weak were meant to be eaten by the strong.
Shiro smiles slightly, it reminds me of Sakura for some reason. "Ah, I see. Good for you two... Don't you agree Shinji?" The Matou doesn't respond, instead he just continue looking at me. Honestly he's being super suspicious right now!
Then Taiga stomps her foot down. "What are you doing Shiro!? What kind of cuck did I raise!?" Shiro sputters at that, stepping back with a sudden and understandable blush. "Fight for your man! Before your archery career... and your billions of yen are ruined!"
Shiro grits her teeth and glares at her. "Just what kind of delusion did you produce this time?" She sends us an apologetic look. "Sorry about this, I don't know what goes through the head of this tig-" A sudden death chill. "This woman." Ah, Shiro almost met her end.
Ayako pouts. "I'm equally confused here. I mean why is she pushing this stuff so hard?" She glares at Taiga. "Seriously, this is unlike you, normally you would declare war at any guy that shows interest in Emiya." Matou flinches at that, telling more with his actions than his words ever could.
Taiga crosses her arms. "I just wanted to motivate my foolish here of justice with... love! That way her archery skills will skyrocket with no known limits!" The living tiger now has a smug grin on. "See? It makes sense right?" She immediately receives a glare from everyone, except for me.
Shiro's eye is twitching. "No it doesn't. It really, really doesn't... Besides, what was that about billions anyways? If you have some weird delusions, then let me just tell you that a career in archery will never lead to so much money." Hey, maybe if you're a good enough athlete?
This a question I should answer though. "Ah, she's probably referring to the fact I'm a billionaire. Right now I have 7 billion yen on my account." Waver sent me the money after he stopped freaking out about the whole Doni thing. Apparently he got scared we were going to destroy Japan... What a drama queen!
The mood in the room shifts, Shiro's jaw hits the floor, and Ayako... gives me a stare full of stars. "You can't take it back now!" Eh? Take back what? "We are going on a date! We are super duper going on a date!" That does sound super nice.
Ayako's face then shifts into a red blush, she takes her arm off me, and then puts both of her hands up. "N-not because I'm a gold digger or anything! I was willing to go out with you even before I knew about the money." Yeah, I know.
Shiro who has finally regained control sighs. "Ayako... I..." She then shakes her head and glares at Taiga. "First of all, don't go judging people's worth by how much money they have. It's an insult to Shibata." W-wow... So mature!
She then looks at Ayako. "And Mitsuzuri... I won't blame you for being so excited about this, but please have some self control, and remember that this money is Shibata's parents money... Not that it matters, because he shouldn't go around wasting it." Then she looks at me. "And Shibata... Ayako really does mean it when she says she isn't a gold digger, so please don't get angry at her." I wasn't going to, even if she was one.
That's because I'm a guy who loves money, and so I understand people who do too. In fact, if I had never become a Campione I would have tried finding a sugar mommy or something. Actually I still sort of want one, even if it's impossible now.
I smile. "Don't worry, I know Mitsuzuri isn't that type of person. I have known her for years after all." We have never been close throughout these years, so it's not like I consider her a friend, but we did go to the same middle school.
Ayako smiles, and crosses her arms. "Hah, it's not like people can't have secrets you know... I mean you apparently come from a super dee duper rich family." I don't. My parents actually have a normal amount of money.
It's not like we have ever struggled financially or anything, but we certainly weren't rich. We could have been, but dad said that the easiest way of making money made mom sad, so they stopped doing it. I imagine it probably involved the whole assassin thing. It's good to see that father and mother understand that there's happiness to be found outsude of money.
Still, I better correct Shirou's and Ayako's false assumption. "Nah, my family is pretty normal. The billions are all mine and I can use them if I want..." I make a thinking pose. "I have been actually thinking about giving Rin half a billion recently..." It could help her with her magecraft research! Though if I do that, I also have to give Sakura money as well. Favoritism is no good!
Shiro seems surprised, but Ayako's jaw hits the floor. "W-wait... you're genuinely a bil- Wait you're gonna give Tohsaka half a billion!? Why though!? Seriously why!?" Because she's nice to me... Sometimes. Actually that might not be the best reason give someone so much money, but she is my sex slave, so it's fine.
Taiga finally comes back to life from her admonishment. "Yes Yato! If you need to give someone money to feel happy, then let me introduce you to this girl who's also really charitable to oth-" Shiro then chops her head with an open hand.
The red haired girl has a new found fire in her eyes as she walks to me. "Shibata, I heard you and Tohsaka have started hanging out more and more... Tell me, was this after you got your hands on so much money?" I'm surprised you aren't asking about how I got the money in the first place...
I nod though. "Yeah, that's when it happened." Though it was less because of the money, and more because I turned her into my concubine. Actually now that I think about it, while I did ask for the money first, it technically came after making Rin mine...
Still, Shiro ignores my thought process. Instead she clenches her fists, apparently angry. "And here I thought Tohsaka was a good person." She is! "She's taking advantage of you Shibata, and I'm putting an end to it! Like John Pluto Smith would have done!" Why are you bringing up the super hero Campione!?
Still, it appears Shiro is misunderstanding Rin, so I have to actually clarify some stuff. "Ah, thanks for the help Emiya, but it's fine. Rin is actually my girlfriend." An awkward silence settles in. "And so is Shinji's little sister Sakura by the way." Shinji is here so he can confirm.
Shiro grits her teeth. "That doesn't change the fact that she could be taking advantage of you... By the way, weren't you just flirting with Ayako?" Yes! That's because harems are pretty cool.
Ayako crosses her arms. "Actually now that I think about... What the hell is up with that!?" Then it's like a lightbulb has just appeared above her head. "Ah, I get it. Shibata is just boasting Emiya. He isn't rich or anything." Oh, now I'm being called a liar...
Shiro blinks in confusion. "Ah, that makes sense, of course Taiga of all people would buy that..." The tiger in question pouts at that, she's now teary eyed. "Seriously Shibata, you shouldn't lie about stuff like thi-" A sudden attack from the ocean!
"He isn't lying." It's Shinji, finally speaking up. Because he has broken his strange silence, everyone is now looking at him. "Shibata really is dating Tohsaka and my sister..." He clenches his fists. "And Sakura is all smug about it, now I can't even-, nevermind, it doesn't matter." Smug Sakura sounds cute.
He continues. "You know how I come from a big rich family, right Emiya?" The girl in question nods. "Well, even my super powerful grandfather goes around calling this guy Lord Shibata nowadays." I feel like you're now saying too much.
Ayako sighs. "Shinji, I see you have coordinated a prank. Good for you, it seems that teamwork has finally entered in your head, one way or another." Ah, they didn't believe him.
Suddenly I received a poke on my shoulder, it's Rin. "Hey douche, why are you here? It took me so long to find you..." The sudden arrival of my concubine, brings silence to the room. Everyone is now staring at us like hungry predators.
I give her an awkward smile. "Sorry Rin... Taiga-Sensei dragged me here to do some stuff... So what do you need?" It's time to help my sex slave! I have the free time anyways.
Rin shakes her head. "Nothing. It's just that I'm supposed to tell you that you should come to Fuyuki's church after the school is over..." She sighs. "My guardian told me to call you this morning, but I haven't had the chance to speak with you until now..." Ah, so Doni has finally come through.
My smile loses its awkward edge. "Ah, sorry for not talking with you much today. I have been missing you the entire time." I always have either sex or swords in my head after all.
Rin blushes. "Shut up. Save those sappy lines for someone who actually buys them, like Sakura..." I feel like Sakura would be the last person to buy those lines though. She's a true born kuudere after all.
I nod. "I don't want to save up anything when it comes to you." She then blushes even harder. "Anyways, I know where the church is more or less, so don't worry about accompanying me... Ah by the way, I got some more money recently so I'll give you some."
Rin crosses her arms. "Don't say it like I care about it." she has yen signs on her eyes. "Yes, I definitely don't care at all about your billions of yen. Not a single bit." She definitely does want it.
Well, it's about time for me to leave, specially since I need to go to church, before that though I hear Ayako shouting. "What the heck!? He was telling the truth!?" I mean, yeah!
