A 17 year old brunette with short shoulder length hair crouched down laying a white flower in a vase. Its been one month since her life changed and her heart shattered.
"I love you Mom. Not a day goes by that i don't carry the guiit with me" Jaylynn Oliver cried as she collapsed to the ground. "You would still be here if i hadn't gotten sick and called you to come get me from Blue Bay Harbour. And now i am all alone. I hope Tommy is safe with you. I'm cursed Mom and i always will be"
Jaylynn sobbed as she mourned her Mother and now her brother as she heard the news a week ago the island he was working on.
"Ready to go?" A rough male voice whispered ashe stood behind her. "We have to leave". Jason Scott spoke. They had his truck loaded up as he had bought a space in Reefside to open a dojo. Tommy had told him if anything happened to him for Jason to look after her.
Jason led her to his truck. "Do you want to go visit Dana or anyone?"
She tensed. "No."
"Jay you haven't spoken to them in a week. Please tell me what's wrong?" He tried.
"Drive" She hissed.
Once they got to Reefside Jaon pulled up to a Blue and grey two storey house. "Home sweet home".
"Yeah" She grumbled as she got out. "Do you mind if i go for a walk?"
"Just be careful please" He asked of her as she nodded. "Come on kid i need you back" He whispered. Jay was so quiet the past month. Rarely smiled.
Jay walked down the street letting the heat his her bare shoulders. She watched as the streets were quiet.
Jay yelped as she bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry"
"Hey its fine" The grirl replied. "I'm Kira"
"Jaylynn but everyone calls me Jay."
Kira smiled. "You must be new here because you seem lost"
"Yeah sort of. I just moved here from Angel Grove". Jay answered.
Kira let her words sink in. Her was from there. "Cool. Listen i am meeting a few friends later if you want to join us?"
Jay nodded. "Sure. Here is my number".
"It was nice to meet you".
"You to Kira". Jay spoke as she walked away.
Kira watched her leave. Kira decided to go to the dino lab to see if anyone needed help.
Tommy wa sat at his computer typing away. He turned when he heard the secret door open. "Kira what are you doing here?"
Kira walked up. "Just wanted to see if you needed any help with anything? Conner told me in school you picked up an energy reading"
Tommy nodded. "Yeah two actually. The weird part iis that one is in my hometown".
"Angel Grove?"
"Yeah"
Kira smiled. "Dr.O i met someone from there today. A girl actually. Her name is Jay."
Tommy tensed. "Oh.I see"
Kira noticed his face became upset. "You okay?"
"Was this her?" Tommy asked pulling up a picture of her with her arm around another person.
Kira nodded. "Yeah, but that's not you"
Tommy bowed his head. "Kira you met my younger sister."
Kira's mouth fell open. "Sister? but you never mentiioned her"
"That's because she doesn't know about any of this or ever knew my past like you guys saw in the diary. She also think's i'm dead"
Kira nearly fell out of her chair as Tommy got up and began to pace. Tommy turned to face her.
"The guy in the picture is the former Titanium Ranger, Ryan. The Mitchell's and Jay have a family bond of their own. Kira hiding from her is the hardest thing i ever hard to do but i promise i will fill you in. Listen i have to run an errand so you can hang out here" With that Tommy left the lab.
Tommy walked in the park alone as his mind raced. Knowing Jay was in Reefside scard him knowing Mesogog was around.
Before Tommy could speak as his gem beeped something hit his neck. He rezched up and pulled out a dart. He collapsed to the ground as his world went black.
"Night night " Elsa taunted as drones brought him through a portal.
Back at the lab Kira was joined by Conner and Ethan. Its been an hour since Tommy left the lab
In Mesogog's lair Tommy groaned as he opened his eyes. He was hanging by his wrists, the rope rubbing his wrists.
"What do you want now Mesogog?" He spoke in annoyance as Mesogog circled him.
"This!" Else spoke harsly holding a silver gem. "Now we know you know what this is"
Tommy started he felt like he saw it before. "How did you find it? it doesn't belong to you"
"So you do know what it is" Zeltrax growled. "You are not the only Oliver in town".
Tommy glared. "You stay away from her!" Tommy yelled as he was left alone.
In the dino lab they three dino rangers were sitting around waiting for their teacher to return but no sign of him.
Kira jumped as an alarm went off. "What the?"
"Wait that's his tracking system" Ethan pointed out. "Its picking up an energry reading".
"But i thought found all gems?" Conner questioned.
"Not all of them" Hunter Bradley, the crimson thunder ninja announced as he arrived in the lab with Hayley.
"Hunter has made me aware of a gem that was sealed away in Blue Bay, Hunter if you will".
Hunter smiled at Hayley. "I mean no alarm but Mesogog may think he has the power to unleash its power but boy is he wrong. That gem belongs to Jaylynn and no one else. Jaylynn was in Blue Bay Harbour last summer. She found a gem that belonged to a possessed spirit. She helped the spirit find peace and was presented with the gem as a token"
"Is she a ranger?" Ethan asked him.
"No, she couldn't do it so she formed a lock around the gem only she can unlock". Hunter answered.
"But thats not the only news. Mesogog has Tommy" Hayley informed. "Most likely to get her to unlock its power"
"What do we do?" Kira asked.
"We go get her. She needs to know" Conner suggested. "Hayley where does she live?"
Hayley typed. "12 Legion Road".
"Lets go" Ethan shouted as they all ran out.
"Hunter. How do you know her if she doesn'tknow about the ranger world?"Hayley asked.
Hunter smiled at the memory. "When she came to Blue Bay she got lost. I bumped into her while training and i showed her where the school was. We have been though a lot together but we got distant after her Mom died"
"You fell for her didn't you?"
He nodded. "Yeah, after she helped us free the spirit of the ice ninja she blew me away at how in sync we were in battle. Jaylynn was offered the Eagle Ice Morpher but she declined. I never knew why and as a loyal ninja i didn't push"
"They will find her" Hayley assured him.
Jaylynn made her way home to find Jason on the porch. "Hey"
"Hey" He gtreeted. "How was your walk?" He asked as he made space for her to sit down.
"Fine i guess. This place seems quiet. Listen i know i am not myself Jase but its just so hard". She told him.
"I know and i understand i do but Jay you have three people who have been calling looking for you."
Jay nodded. "I know Ryan hasn't stopped texting." She curled up into Jason's side. "Dana lost her baby while i was there after the funeral. I left without warning and have been avoiding them"
"Oh Jay i'm sorry. But you need to tell them why you left". Jason told her wrapping his right arm around her. The two looked up as a red mustang skidded to a people hopped out.
"Sorry for interuppting but please are you Jaylynn Oliver?" She heard the one in blue ask.
"I am"
"Please come with us" The one in red urged.
"Who are you?" Jason asked as he stood next to Jay.
"I'm Conner, this is Ethan and Kira".Conner told her. "We need your help"
Jay and Jason shared a look before Jason asked. "What's wrong?"
Conner swallowed. " is missing and we need your help".
