SWIRLING

Chapter Three

Captain Lee Crane had gotten out of his green jeep, which he keeps for traveling around the apartment and institute grounds. He had been stopped by the security officers at the main gate heading for where the Seaview was located.

"Sir, I know who you are. But it's my job to check your I.D. nonetheless." Captain Jackson Larson on the job for the Nelson Institute for the past ten years. Prior he was in the Navy as an underwater frogman after having an accident to remove him from his duties.

Lee Crane pulled out his wallet with his I.D. since though he had been wearing his Captain's uniform. He handed it to the captain, while he takes a look at the picture before handing it back to him.

"Thanks, Captain Crane. You're able to go now with Admiral Nelson having arrived on the grounds from Washington, D.C." he says with Lee driving past the gate to head for the landing spot for the Seaview.

Moments later he will be able to see the Seaview with the submarine's security. These three men had been hand-picked by Admiral Nelson to work security after spending five years in the Navy.

Captain Lee Crane asked Sergeant Roberts on whether or not Admiral Nelson had arrived on board the Seaview.

"No, sir! He called Commander Morton telling him that he would be arriving within the hour." Captain Larson needed to say. "Besides Commander Morton and Anderson are on board while overseeing the supplies having arrived."

"Very well. I will head down now to drop off my things." He said with his heart slightly skipping a beat.

CONTROL ROOM

Commander Chip Morton had received a message from the radio shack from the Pentagon regarding more photos having been taken by the drone.

Admiral Nelson is supposed to get them. However, there was an order for Captain Lee Crane to take a look once he arrived on the Seaview.

Commander Morton at the plotting table turned his head to see the slender Captain having lost weight during the past months. "LEE! You're just in time to receive a code one photo from the Pentagon.

"Okay, I will take a look at them in my quarters. Please let Admiral Nelson for when he arrives on board the Submarine?" Crane ordered.

"Yes, sir. By the way, there are ten more left of the personnel to be arriving back from shore leave. All of them should be here within the hour." Morton will say to the captain.

He will mumble something to the Commander. Even though Morton wasn't able to understand a word he had been saying to him. He will watch him leave with taking the spiral staircase to Officer's country and his quarters.

THIS IS WHERE CAPTAIN LEE CRANE WILL SEE WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC.

Sitting down inside his office of his quarters after placing all of his things away in the bedroom. He had been very anxious on just what exactly is going on with their mission.

Taking in a deep breath after sitting down in his swivel chair of his office. He will open the brown vanilla envelope that Sparks placed at his communications station(radio shack).

It was at this point that where he remembered one of his encounters with these spaceships and most of all the aliens. This was going to be a repeat encounter with the Lizard creatures.

Lee and Admiral Nelson a little over five plus years ago had thought they had buried them under deep rock trapping all of what was left of them along with their vessels. But this was in the South Atlantic mostly. But how did they wind up in the North Atlantic?

"SON OF A BITCH!" Lee will curse to himself from inside his quarters. He had gotten up to head for his liquor cabinet to take a drink needing to calm down his nerves.

It was at this point for when Admiral Harriman Nelson had dropped off his things in his quarters before heading to see Captain Lee Crane in his quarters. Nelson wasn't sure just what the photo would consist of.

Reaching his cabin not too far from his. He knocked when he heard Lee's voice from inside feeling the liquor inside his bloodstream. He opened the door to see his friend and Captain with a bottle of Whiskey sitting on the table next to his brown chair.

Stopping for a moment to survey the scene with the Captain. Exhaling briefly before saying a word.

"Lee, what is going on with yourself?" he asked calmly walking over to the table that had the Whiskey bottle. "What is all this, my friend?"

Lee looked up at his friend to hand him the photo of the spacecraft that resembled the Lizard's. "Here you go, Admiral. This is why I am pissed off!" he cried out in his response.

Nelson will take the colored photo into his hand to study it before his brain comes to life. "What is this Lee?" he says before Lee begins to tell him what he thinks of the photo.

With a lump happening in his throat before swallowing. "Sir, don't you remember about the Lizard aliens we had encountered twice during the last five years?" he motioned with taking a sip of his whiskey in the shot glass.

"Of course, I do, Lee! And you think it's them again after all this time?" Nelson will ask with the sensitive nature of the question.

Lee moves off his chair in a fit of anger. "OF COURSE, I DO, HARRIMAN! And besides this photo proves it for the most part, sir." He said with his comment.

"This could be any U.F.O. taken by the drones?" Nelson tried to reason with his Captain extremely upset in front of him.

"BULLSHIT!" Lee cried out taking the bottle of Whiskey for another shot of the liquor.

This is when Admiral Harriman Nelson will be taking the Whiskey bottle away from him. "Oh, no you don't Lee. We have this cruise to start out or else the Pentagon and the White House will be pissed off at myself and the Institute." He tells him with his anger building from his stomach and chest.
