In the ice Age Sheer had her Sloth in armor spinning claws out for "Gyro claw!" the attack was at the cave people, Max's look alike grabbed Zoe's lookalike and jumped knocking them out of the way of the attack, as the chief a male prehistoric man held a wood staff with the purple stone inside of it to raise a wall. Chief said, "I always knew Gem would come to be claimed by evil, and the heavens above would want it back." he saw rainbow light of the backlander and did a cross.
That's when armored Chomp Charged out armored up glowing from the warm up move card as he used, "Eletric charge!" the boy in bright colors to the cave people , who came to save them must have been angel, Some bowed others grabbed weapons. The sloth was necked down and sling s throw rocks at him, making him hiss, as Max used his next move card, "Lighting axe!" the Eletric blade formed and Chomp jumped and spiraled, the secret Sloth's claws grow and he went for a left hook holding back the move card. "Sky dive!" his summon giant flyer appeared grabbing the secret, however our sloth used gyro claw slashing the normal move card summon, making him be dropped onto tree.
Sheer face palmed, "Stupid sloth!" she hissed as the Sloth's armor cracked and it got up roaring knuckle walking charging at chomp only for chomp to return to card, Sheer blinked. That's when Zoe summoned pairs and armored her up, "Element boosters now metal wing!" the summons came out, The sloth spun for gyro claw to slash the flyer's away, making Zoe use, "Big Foot assault!" Distracted by flyers the summoned giant came stomping it startling the prehistoric people.
Zoe's look alike got up bowing to it, as her mate Max's look alike held her bowing too, The couple shot a look at them, as Zoe said, "emerald garden!" the miracle of plants growing wild in winter happened selling they were angels here to battle demons for the stone to these people. The plants bloomed by sucking the life out of the sloth and giving it to chomp, Remember now Chomp lasted for three move cards, This healing card gave Pair's more time, enough to use, "Two platon crush!" Two surapods going for neck smash and what do you get, the thing going gyro claw to block it.
Pairs became a card as Zoe jumped out the way to Max's arms again, "Okay Rex it's your turn, and boyfriend hold, it's cold!" She said shivering wanting to snuggle her Max like they look alike. She had a cute shy blush about it. Rex held his bracer out summoning Ace out, "Very well, Sonic blast!" the move card made Ace spit a hurricane! the sloth tried to gyro claw through it, but his spin sucked up the wind and made a wind funnel that picked him up and throw him so he came down armor broken! next move card, "Ninja attack!" three aces charging, the sloth Gyro clawed slashing all of them knocking them away, but one became log. Rex held his move card out, "Dino illusion. Now Jet shuriken!" the move card hit, the sloth not knowing where to slash till too late. It roared, but the battle wasn't over as sloth stood, but Ace's glowing body faded away. Remember the glow of warmth takes health away to allow them to function at all in this cold. This move card is only need here in the ice age.
Leaving Zander to it, "Okay spiny!" Armored and glowing, "aqua whip!" the whip froze into a chain for an ice flail, The Sloth spun for Gyro claw again pulling Spiny closer where sander went for, "Futabasaurus super cannon!" the summon appeared in the snow spitting water that became ice shards that hit and slashed and beat the shit out of the sloth, before it's claws could touch Spiny. This left Spiny flying towards the Sloth. "Tragedy of the sphere!" the water orb that formed around the Sloth froze so Spiny's swinging kick shattered him. Spiny landed on his fin and carded. Sheer growled flying off, "And a tie load of crap!" She flow away mad about having well not won! She also knew she couldn't take the stone as the chief could use the shit.
The chief bowed saying, "You have come from heaven to reclaim magic shining stone?" he said holding it out. Max holding Zoe nodded, "Stone need to make it to new place, allow us to use the stone to get to new place before you take back to heavens?" the four looked around and said, " Deal!" The chief bowed and cheered the people salvaging the fruits that grow thanks to emerald garden's power for the trip. They cheered and as such our heroes were now part of a prehistoric migration. The cave people assuming unlike the demon they gave up their powers on earth and took true human form and had the needs. As such they shared the food with them. That night by a camp fire. Zoe sat with Max holding hands while eating meat off the bone. Mammoth they were at a prehistoric barbeque for a date. They looked to their look-alikes who danced happily together. they looked at each other, wondering if this meant they were soulmates fated to always appear and always fall in love again.
Rex however looked at his friends look alikes realizing what a waste of time having feelings for Zoe was, and feeling even more guilty as this version of his friends where already together because they didn't have a him, he was a wrench in the universe's plans for this two to always find eachother and fall in love again. Zander didn't do or say much of anything. they did know thanks to traveling with them the Dinosaurs still hadn't recharged yet.
This meant they won't have dinosaurs for what happened next in the prehistoric cold of the ice age, A growl. they all jumped together Zoe hovering close to her boyfriend, the dark only the fire, this was a primal moment, the primal fear of the dark and the monsters that hide within it, any prehistoric monster could be within the dark growling, saber toothes, ground sloths were thought to have been omnivores, it could also be plant eaters attracted to the out of season fruit they had. Any number of prehistoric beasts could be within the shadows coming their way. the primal fear was gripping our modern man, no walls, or weapons to keep them safe, the Dinosaurs need recharge so no magic, they were just people about to fight a monster, the kid heroes, the time traveling future man, it all faded away, they were just man in the wild with nothing like the prehistoric people around them. The fear was given form as the monsters stepped into the light of the fire, almost appearing out of nowhere, Sabertoothed cats. Roaring and charging. The chief using his staff to make a wall to protect people as they went for weapons. Now that's when it happened.
A saber tooth was behind Zoe and Max, If Max was working right he could summon Chomp he would surely be recharged before the others as the first to battle within the know, however that wasn't the chase, instead of grabbing card to defend Zoe, What our boy did was something else, he grabbed a sharpened wooden stick that was being used to cook, and with a roar he moved forward. Zoe's eyes widened in shock as her boyfriend seemed to relapse , or regress back into the animal man came form, Back to the beast forgotten in prehistory. Max had used the stick landing it right into the big cats eye, As he pushed her back to fall over on the log out of it's claw rang. She got up just in time to see the cat movie forward impaling it's brain on Max's stick as a claw slashed Max's face, over the right eye. He growled jumping back with the stick covered in blood. Rex had watched stunned, at that. A moment later Chomp was summoned as the adrenaline started to wear off , as Max's modern mind returned. He slashed his cards, Chomp armored and summoned the one power they had that made the people think they were angels and Gatling sparks was used to hit all of them.
Chomp roared charging and spearing sabertoothes that jumped him shocking them with his lighting. Max held his bleeding face to Zoe's pale faced horror. Her boyfriend simple put the stick into the flames to set it on fire to burn the bleeding wound that was the upper right corner of his face closed, Shocking her as her jaw dropped and went pale. Zander saw the sabertoothes running as chomp carded and he could say only one thing, "...Badass dude." It ruined the moment but he said, "...I mean...he went full on savage, and killed a saber toothed cat with a stick...No one will believe him...I am here and I don't believe it."
The chief had raisen walls with the stone stick to keep them safe for now, even putting a roof on it, "place not safe alone, small hole for air, around sleep in stone trap safe. Angel hurt, angel gave up too much power, but angel still strong." he said breaking the things tooth off as the people got to cutting it. Note Max's look alike was in same state having done the same get slashed and burn it closed move after killing a saber tooth with stick to protect his mate. The two still looked alike. The prehistoric people where skinning the cat to work the skin into leather to preserve it. by morning it would be ready.
Max accepted the sabertooth's gang adding it to his necklace. Zoe fanned herself and said one thing, "Oh my!" She was red wide eyed, a mix of amazed and confused , along with fear as she saw her boyfriend go full on jungle man right now. He just grabbed it and killed it with a stab, It was amazing, it was scary, And it was epic. It was quote unquote manly as hell. Rex blinked and pointed at his friend's scared by claws and fire corner of face and said one thing, "...Dude...savage...fitting really...So congratulations on being a beast more scary than the saber tooth." He watched Zoe and her look alike hold their respected man's face and kiss him happily looking at them. "and the primitive beautiful savage agrees with the statement.
That night they slept in tents, and bags made of animal fur, Hide's bones, stone and wood. Zoe and Max shared one cuddling the night away in eachother's arms under the blanket. That said morning was awkward. Waiting for them was the sabertooth Max killed's hide as a rug, together, but right now it was morning Max was teenager so Zoe woke up to well...poke. he was red Zoe looked away, "It's okay it's natural it's nothing to worry about...or ashamed about." mentally she pictured an elephant tooting, then they heard it and came up. Zoe was grateful for the way out, till she saw Foolscap with a Mammoth card to fight hovering. The alien said, "We aren't even stupid enough to try this at night here!"
Once more the battled would begin, against the aliens, the mega mammal hd smashed the walls making the chief lower them so people could escape as the thing tooted , the elephant covered in fur hovered out the rocks and throw them as Max summoned element boosted and used the warm up move card, his scar on display as Foolscap touched his face, "Dam What happened to you?" Max pointed to the saber tooth skin, "That's the other guy." Foolscap saw it and said, "...Well you bad...you real bad their kid! but let's go zero G throw!" his secret mega mammal used this move to lift and throw the rocks making chomp avoid.
Max looked at the move cards, form his gadget "Tag team and Gatling sparks." The summon appeared to protect chomp as Chomp charged landing rapid Eletric horn strikes on the Mammoth. Foolscap said, "...numbers why didn't we think of that?" Reeses this aren't future advanced aliens or people but mutated post world end dumbasses was looking more and more true the more they spoke. The mammoth roared using it's throw to throw Chomp back into a tree. The armored triceratops got up, Max slashed a new move card, it made Chomp eat pudding and get health. he blinked at it, before Max said, "Lighting strike!" Slashing it making the move shoot lighting, but the Mammoth Ran away, lighting starting a forest fire as it hit a tree. the primitive human's chief was throwing dirt to put out the fire by snuffing it. Burning dirt and wood made smoke that had the Mammoth gagging. Letting Chomp use one last move card, "Eletric charge!" the moment it hit Chomp was a card.
Zoe jumped out slashing pairs, the move card and plugging in the armor, "I till take it over for my boyfriend, metal wing and dino force!" She slashed two move cards, the flyers came through the smoke, but the mammoth lifted trees that were burnt up and throw them through his secret move, He blocked metal wing, but now he was tail whacked into the air by pairs. Up Next five flyers, the now air born falling mammoth was in panic, it didn't block the flyer's metal wing like strike! Up next came jumping three of Tanks smaller cousins for a tackle like attack on it knocking him down to the ground faster, where the super cannon summon's three smaller cousins appear spitting water bullets that froze into blocks of ice.
The Mega mammal used zero G throw to send the balls of ice at pairs hitting the glowing warm bird as it got up armor cracked and shacking form the Gang jump. Foolscap pointed and said, "Woman did you just jump my Mammoth? did you jump him like you a gangster with that move card, I mean that move card had, let me see now you, tail whacking, five flyer's flying, that's six, Three tanks a smacking that's eights, three water creatures spitting that's eleven. Eleven things attack with one move card, that's fucking broken as hell!" he complained about the move card.
Up next Zoe used, " emerald garden!" to drain the health form the Mammoth into pairs so she could use, " Big Foot assault!" The suarapod came for the stomp, but Zero G-throw made the thing's leg slow to the point the mega mammal was able to avoid it. Pair's carded and Foolscap said, "HA you didn't get him you summon bitch!" a rock hit him in the eye , left eye, as he groaned in pain holding it, "OH IT WAS SHARP I AM BLEEDING OUT THE EYE BALL!" Max called out, "YOU DON'T INSULT MY ZOE!" The blue flying man rubbed his face his bleeding face and said, "Crouching moron hidden badass!" That's when a Rock hit him, below the belt and he held it groaning in pain as Zoe said, " DON'T YOU INSULT MY BOYFRIEND YOU WINGED BLUE FREAK!" Foolscap groaned going, "Oh they are perfect for eachother!" More rocks hit him it was the Max and Zoe look alikes.
That's when Ace was heard roaring as he charged spinning his body and tail whacking to make a tornado to pick up and throw the Mammoth into a wall made by the chief, the demon mammoth to the primitive people was thrown into the wall and armor break. Foolscap groaned being hit and forced to leave the fight. Rex smirked and slashed another move card, "Jet shuriken!" the attack went off. "Mayfly!" Ace moved too fast to be seen and landed tail whacks and headbutts on it, as he said, " Ultimate wind!" Armored ace roared using the move point blank on the Mammoth, Ace was then carded thanks to the move card that is even letting him function in this cold weather. the Mammoth was down knocked out unable to move, meaning All Spiny needed to do to end it was walk over put it's mouth around the neck and bite. The bad guy was once more finished off by Zander, who collect this mega mammal card much like the Sloth. Gathering up things form emerald garden the primitive people got ready to move out.
The chief saying, "new place close, demons say they scared of dark, we must move, if we move through light and darkness , we can hand off stone of shine that they want, to angles, angels can finish them and we be safe from demons." He banged the staff making it clear the other tribesmen would agree with the idea of quickly handing the stone of shine off to them, even if they would lose the magic of the earth it granted them. It was worth it. It's also to note the cosmos stones are probably the base for magic in legend as the chief using it to manipulate the earth was pretty magical as he waved the staff to build structures, trap enemy and pray, and harm them. As the stones both cosmic and tablet were metaphyiscal constructs and thereby beyond understanding as they exist but shouldn't by all logic, who's to say the both sets of stones aren't truly magic. Foot for thought.
While traveling with the primitives Zoe saw her look alike chewing on something mint leaves, She was taking a mint to freshen her breath, She saw her mate going for kiss and made him take one. Zoe giggles as the Max look alike took it and chewed and eat it, before he and her own look alike kissed. "I guess some things never change, Hay red head pass some of those over here." the look a like handed two leaves to Zoe. Zoe gave one to Max they both chewed them to freshen their breath , swallowed them then held hands and kissed like their look alikes. Zoe and her look alike were red holding their man's arm red in the face and kind of shy looking about it.
Rex watching this form behind said one thing, "A is b, B is A." Outright saying the look alikes had to be a past life. the Max look alike was Max's previous incarnation, Zoe's look alike was her past life. Max and Zoe were reborn all the time and fell in love every life. Showing how pointless his feelings were. It also showed him how much he screwed things up for his friends, as they weren't in love and happy thanks to him, it was only when he was back where he belonged the time Machine that they finally acted right and fell in love. Time had to heal from the infection he and his fellow time travelers made to set it all right. he sighed hands in pocket. Rex new they won't give up on him and would try to save him from leaving like so many Changelings before hand. After all if he was a changeling other changeling tales had to be true too. They would try to save him, but like most changelings he would submit and leave with the things from another world that birth him as it was for the best of those he shouldn't have known, but yet have come to care for. He loved them but he couldn't let them Save him from leaving with his birthparents, he had fucked up their lives by pausing their love story, one spanning life times and reincarnations since the dawn of man, for far to long.
Max and Zoe cared about Rex so they wanted to save said changeling, Yet Rex like most changelings cared about them so he couldn't let himself be saved, his leaving would be better for them in the long run. Rex wanted to leave because he cared about them despite his own broken shattered heart. Max and Zoe wanted to make him stay because they cared about him, as a friend. Rex for the sake of his friends couldn't let them Save him. That was the endless cycle going on in the D-team. Just like a changeling tale.
Zander however remained mostly side lined he knew love was complicated, and he didn't have much tips for dating, well he did but he comes from a time one hundred years later, any tip he hasn't isn't valid yet thanks to how fast culture changes. He had nothing so ever to say that would be helpful yet. That said he noticed the couples looks of worry to Rex and Rex's depression. Zander was a chemist by trade, Chemical reactions are what trigger and drive the human mind and body. Form their faces he had a large flash of numbers and could Id what emotional chemicals were triggered by their looks. He Knew Rex felt heart broken, about the relationship and also guilty for it not happening sooner. Like He knew Reese was asexual-demiromantic form her reactions to his advances. She wasn't against them, but her reactions told her she liked it but she didn't know him like that. To Get to Reese's emotions she needs to know him first. Now Zander also knew Zoe dating was good for that as Drake sister double date, however he couldn't think about how he had at least one sure fire way to date his angel. He was the adult around this kiddos, he had to be responsible till another adult came around. Meaning he had to watch Rex and them closely to keep them safe, then he could run the double date to Max and Zoe. He had to be responsible, as well someone in his family had to be at least once.
Now on the alien Ship Foolscap was black and blue bleeding eye and pointed at Aki, "YOU YOUR BAD ASS SON DID THIS!" he pointed to his bleeding eye, "he took my eye after that sabertooth he killed took his! Little bastard is bad ass, he did it with a rock and stick!" he left. Aki jumped in horror, she had horror of dinosaur in house without telling her, She had horror her husband knew, She had horror her husband lied his ass off to her. She had horror her husband told their son to lie his ass off to her, She had horror she could never trust her husband again, she had horror her son has been mega super ultra chicken fighting around the world, then horror aliens kidnapped her and her house. Now she had horror of her Son was half blind, and was hunting aliens and sabertoothed tigers. She fainted in horror, not into her husband's arms, or his equally wrong friend Doctor Drake but into Rex's birth mother's arms.
The blonde doctor got her and said, "...That was a horrifying yet badass statement. The Alien just said..." She said putting Aki who fainted down. Aki at this point while passed out was having a brain reboot. She basically crashed and was rebooting with new settings. Aki's mind was throwing her feelings for Spike in the trash pin, she would get her divorce, care for the house she cared for gone, Only goals escape make it to her son and make sure He turns out to be the opposite of his father. Not all butterflies of change are good things people.
They soon came to a stone wall and the chief tapped his staff on the ground the cosmos stone made the stone part, like the sea the in the good book. they gasps as they saw this and walked off, This means the Blue cosmos stone was probably in the staff form the guy who went against the Pharaoh to get his people's freedom. It was a twist on a biblical moment. That thought would imply the white energy bird was the voice of the divine guiding people, now doesn't it? A thought all were thinking. Zoe remained closed to Max, as they traveled with the prehistoric people who eat plants they had while moving. they saw prehistoric creatures yes, big horned deer, Sloths, Mammoth the like of that, but they seemed to run form man, having learned to fear them. Max held Zoe close and action his counterpart was doing with his Zoe.
The chief felt the sun, "We follow sun middle!" the sun's raise and fall was southeast south west, meaning they were heading to where the sun was in the middle to head south. The chief said, "No man can touch sun, but you can follow to where it currently shine brighter." he stated a solid logic, that was shocking, as he was correct the earth had a tilt and that made seasons as different points became closest and farthest from the sun. The Cave man was scientifically correct. This implies Humanity in prehistory was more advanced then lost everything and became stupid.
Zander noticed this, as did Rex. Max rubbed his cheek and looked around closely, the Mint leaves as breath freshening, He also saw the humans use the stream to wash thier hands before handling food and to clean dirt off, some using snow to do this, or changing gloves after use, hygiene at it's basics something Medieval and 1900s people didn't know about. "Geee this guys wash their hands to stay clean for no germ, The guy who said that in modern day was sent to the nut house for saying that." Zoe nodded remaining close to her boyfriend as he commented on this. If he knew it they all knew it. Zander blinked holding his chin at this, Rex couldn't care any less if something made humanity stupider after civilization or not, he didn't.
The path was well walked too. Zoe looked down not noticing it before because it seemed a normal thing, but she took note now, "this is a road!" She said tapping it, dirt and rock beaten down over time to mark toe trail. Note rocks don't age so you can't carbon date anything made of rock, be it a road of not. These means stone structures including roads could be way way older, as they found out the hard way. Now the road made sense currently Mankind was using the Cosmos stone as a cheat. If they take it are they going to doom civilization to thousands of years of filth , dirt and being idiots form having been spoiled to the magic gem stone? Are they the reason for the quote unquote back slide of human civilization? This was a thought they weren't ready for, yet they knew they had too, there was no historical records of cosmos stones and magic stopped, that means the stones were suppose to be gone and forgotten in the modern day, they could change time and unborn themselves by taking it.
Moral vs what is right. Zoe shyly hovered by Max holding his arm as a security blank of some kind. She then noticed something elsewhere among the primitive cave people if you will. Despite being cavemen, with stone and wood tools she saw things other than the road and hygiene. One looked up at the sky holding a bowl of water with a naturally magnetic rock. A compose. A Compose. The bowl was half a coconut, water melt for snow floating the rock shaped into an arrow head. The sun was setting and they would be using this, it even had nots carved for North south east and west to keep going south. The Compose and Hyene couldn't be explained by the stone, as someone had to find the rock can do this and use it when floating in water. She smiled pointing at it, this mean if they take the stone the advance stone age civilization that knows good hygiene. Something else knocked humanity into stupidity when Civilization as recorded came to be.
Zoe whispered and said, "Okay Compose that's a machine, they knew how to make it, they don't need the cosmos stone it's just easier." he nodded and she asked, "So what do you think made humanity filthy stupid beasts when civilization started?" Max shrugged and said, "they put idiot slop in charge and he outlawed being smart and clean?" Zoe shrugged made sense, it really did. After all most leaders in the modern world are dirty idiots.
The path continued they got warmer quickly, as they continued not warm enough to take off the coats but still enough to notice. The chief pointed and said, " up ahead big drop." He pointed to mountain, "We drop, down, after that sun kissed land is seeable. Almost to new place. Travel almost over. " he said as they used torch light to look down, it was a steep cliff, but rock formed a boat to lower them down thanks to chief's stone. In fact people relaxed to camp in this stone ship sailing down the mountain range, The land before them was big rock cliffs always rock to connect with it. This meant they were basically taking a train for this leg. What drove it home is he even put roof with cubes for air through it. The Chief said, "travel this leg easy with shine rock, but without shien rock will be hard, no choice, we can't handle evil, heavens most reclaim shine to keep tribe safe, No choice, sacrifice to keep alive even if life becomes harder because of alive."
Zander whistled outright saying no one would believe anything they saw about the cavemen, even without the cosmos stone. the Zoe double was cuddled her the Max double snuggling resting on her chest as he held her close and rubbed her hip. Zoe smiled and pulled her boyfriend down blushing as she copied her look alike slash pass life and snuggled her boyfriend, they were moving too quickly for the last pirate to catch up with them. The couple drifted off cuddled together, or is it couples? it's so confusion when they are probably the same people reborn beside each other.
Rex looked away he didn't weep as he accepted his heart was pointlessly broken, Max and Zoe meant to be, his feelings were false and only happened because Seth stole his parents Rv. He would blame his broken heart on Seth and channel it into stopping Seth and his new space pirates pals. He would do that. He knew he didn't have a chance, he knew they both loved one another, and were happy and in love, real true love. He was big enough to let that go, Now if he thought Max didn't love Zoe or not as much as she loved him, or he won't make her happy he would try to step in and save Zoe form a broken heart, but that wasn't the case. He won't try to steal her, he would just tell her she thought her boyfriend was no good, yet he didn't think that so he won't say it. Rex was mature enough to do this even if he wished he wasn't. He also wished Max was no good so he could say it and still have a chance to have Zoe. he wished it was but He looked and he knew it, he was seeing it in stereo afterall. Rex signed the sad life of a changeling about to be repossessed by his birth family. That was his tale. To think some people dream about being a changeling, Those people are insane and stupid for wishing to be in his place. All a changeling does is bring pain, and misery to all those they knew from the point of being put in foster family and leaving. He wanted Zoe and his best friend to be happy so he had to leave, he had to be repossessed or they would suffer. He had to be repossessed or his dad would suffer, The Taylors and Drakes,are already suffering because of him.
Max held Zoe Close protectively as they slept , petting her hip as she nuzzled blushing shyly, as she cuddled enjoying the warmth of a love and care around her. This was being mimicked by their past lives. Now That said Rex was shivering as he held himself. he remembered his birth parents the thought brought him no warmth, his Adopted dad, The Taylors, hell even the Drakes, they brought warmth to him. the Alpha gang, Seth, his birth parents aka the people he should be close to did not bring that warm feeling, yet that cold was his fate, his sacrifice only way to keep those who gave him warth safe and sound, form the misery the changeling will bring them.
Zander just watched them, he said nothing as he couldn't really read minds. He knew Rex was heart broken and trying to pin his issues on the winged ones and Seth, he knew Max and Zoe where in love happy together but worried about Rex. his know how of chemical reactions on facial structures told him that, but he couldn't know Rex's self sacrificing thoughts, or how bad the boy was. He just knew he felt guilty for getting in way, heart broken and wanted payback on Seth and the winged ones. All between or below he had no idea. he had no idea of Max and Zoe wanting to stop Rex from going to the future as it sounded like a horrible place to be. He had no idea of Rex refusing to be saved as he thinks he will only hurt everyone if he stays where he was never meant to be. Sure enough they heard a roar and their it was an spectral armored Wolly rhino who's horn shined and fired off a laser beam making everyone run, the chiefs wall was smashed by the light. Max jumped pulling Zoe out the way, "Okay beautiful we came this far we can't fail again we need to get the Stone to learn more to save Rex." he whispered to her. She nodded as he got up to summon Chomp armoring him up and using Doctor Z's raise body heat card to start the final battle of the ice age migration.
The Rhino's horn beam fired and chomp jumped back, and Zoe looked to her boyfriend and pointed, as they got up, "Rhino's are far sighted if it's not 30 feet In front of them it can't see, So a laser works well for it you need to stop running and charge!" Max listened to his girlfriend and slashed, "Eletric charge sure enough as Chomp charged forward it beams became less and less accurate. before long it was firing wildly at the dirt and evergreens trees as snow faded to spring. This left the Rhino wide ass open for when the attack landed knocking it into a tree. Up next was, " Gatling sparks!" the move card came and landed the rapid gabs, it was working. Now the chief had put a stone dome around him to stop Gavro from getting the stone as the battle happened. The techno colored flying man banged as his rhino fired wildly, chomp was too close for him to see. Up next, " Lighting axe!" Chomp jumped blade formed coming down as buzz saw and sure enough this blow cracked the armored rhino's armor.
However chomp returned to a card, making Zoe start up and summon pairs! Right away the armored and heated pairs was far enough away to force her to jump form the horn beam attacks, but Zoe said, " Avoid Pairs we got back up! Green impulse!" the flyers came in from behind and landed the blows perfectly. " Big Foot assault!" She said using this move card to step on the rhino cracking armor more, before "metal wing! plus element boost, attack up and attack boost!" She slashed upgrade move cards which did one thing, the flyers for metal wing, they tripled in size and were glowing. This equaled ouch, on impact no more armor.
Rex took over as pairs became a card, "I best not waste this, now. Tornado toss. " Ace appeared armored up glowing form z's move card which was getting it's last use today. The tornado ace made throw the rhino around and as it came down Rex used "cyclone!" the attack went off ace covered in one and jumping to smash it, "Mayfly!" followed by rapid strikes. This carded the rhino is it landed ace roared as he became a card having won it. Gavro then flow off. Our heroes smiled as the chief came out and they traveled with their ancestors bring them to the new place as they called it. After that the chief gave Rex the staff, "You finish last demon, you should have shine rock!" Rex nodded as the backlander invisible called down the beam making the primitive people bow as they thought the angels were returning home. Note Max was holding the skin of sabertooth.
Once back upon the backlander with a stone they new two things one don't touch it with your bare hand as Doctor Z went to grab it and got shocked and fell over making alpha droids take him away. Zander screamed following his dad. Signing Zoe still in her mittens picked it up, "Jonathan scan this thing please before we leave after all it's time travel we have all the time in the world to figure this out." She smiled blushing as Max winked at her. The robot nodded taking it.
one hour later the robot came in saying, "The stone gives off and equal and opposite energy wave length as the earth stone. It will also likely synchronize with it's sibling stones like ours. The earth stone and it have toxic symbiotic relationship in short." The kids tilted heads confused. The robot said, "Together they power boost eachother to the point they can't handle it and would overlord if they had equal power to start this cycle. Aka all together or two alone. In short if we didn't have the other six stone plates, that's counting center, This purple gem and the earth stone would have exploded from power overload." Rex instantly saw the look in his friends eyes and knew they guessed this and it was their plan to save the changeling. Before long it was change back to normal outfits, Max putting bandages on his scared face and an eye patch, his eye was their just too damaged to work now.
when the time Machine did take off, it was only a few moments before the white bird of light appeared saying, "You have gotten one that is grand." Our hero Max called out, " LET US SEND ROD AND LAURA HOME!" the bird seemed to Pause. Max said it, "let us return to our time pick those kids off and send them home, they have been without their parents long enough thanks to Seth. It's what's right! " he crossed his arms knowing fuel well he was standing up to what was basically a god. "We know you are related to the tablet and the stones are an opposite, you don't want your opposite freed as that means suicide attack to stop it again. We will not go on this quest and will hand the stone we have over in trade for my house and parents, and let them have it and let the suicide attack happen if you don't!"
Rex's jaw dropped. the Alpha gang had sister and father to worry about so they were gone. They were three kids almost teenagers, and Max was standing up to a god. Zoe was fanning herself red and blushing as she watched Max fearlessly bark down a god. Max even said, "You can't do anything if one of us removes our plate piece." he said making it clear, "You have to let us out sooner or later, and we can just Take out the plate and agree to work with the bad guys to travel through time without you and get what we want. You keep us here in the time stream they will come find us and board us and we can still make the deal. No Matter what you do, you are totally helpless to do anything to stop us from refusing unless you allow us to do this." Their jaw dropped.

Max hit a speaker button, "ROD LAURA WE ARE TAKING YOU HOME AND DROPPING OFF YOUR AUNTS UNCLE AND GRANDPA WHO GOT HIMSELF SHOCKED! REESE GET UP IN HERE WE NEED YOU TO BE A SUPERIOR REPLACEMENT FOR DOCTOR Z!" Sure enough Reese boarded as did the kids. Not bothering to go see Zander Reese went to the lab, and while they dropped off the future people she locked herself in their and when they left she came out holding a move card to Rex. "here a new move card Terror bird hunting Flock, terror birds are technically dinosaurs making this work, it will summon seven Terror birds to attack." Making this card was more important than Zander's feelings apparently.
Zoe blinked, knowing full well this would have been Zander's and Reese's last goodbye and she passed on it. She crossed arms even if she didn't feel that way, she could have pretended for his sake and been nice. She crossed her arms, looking at her Sister in new light. She saw one thing and that was a bitch, a cruel emotionless person. She got advice from this woman? No wonder she couldn't get Max soon enough. She had a boyfriend in spite of looking after this woman. Come to think of it her mom wasn't very emotional either. So She most take after her dad. She held Max's arms as a comfort as Reese didn't know it but she just killed a lot of relationships. The Machine took off once again bring them to the next point in the travel.

The Chibi three dinosaurs roared looking at it and pawing at the glass happily. They seemed to notice their family below still owning the planet before they became pets, and food. After all pet bird that's a pet dinosaur, eating chicken you eating Terry technically speaking. What happened to the dinosaurs, technically cats, then us.

Reese do make a tracker for the stone our only hope is to spot the aliens and find them!" She said pointing to the rock, "Wear gloves it will zap you like Doctor Z." She nodded grabbing Max off to the clothing machine again. Reese adjusted glasses she didn't call her sis, That seemed odd. Rex chuckled, "Welcome to the don't belong anywhere club Lady!" he said waving to go meet them.
That's when the Blonde woman blinked, "...What happened to Max's face." the robot pointed to the sabertooth skin on a rack, "the other guy is over their!" She jumped in shock and said one thing. "...That is very manly. He and chomp..." The robot said, "No chomp just him with a stick." Reese blinked and said, " ...I need to be nicer to Max Taylor and his father." She said pale at the revelation that Max killed a sabertooth with a stick.
That is also Reese who was too busy with making a move card also noticed not only Max's face and the skin but three cards and walked over seeing giant ground sloth mammoth, and Wolly rhino, "...mega mammal cards?" she blinked "This changes everything, we aren't limited to just dinosaurs, I thought I was stretching it with the Terror bird card."
