With nothing more to add, let's get started.

¡Enjoy!

The streets were full of zombies, who were wandering without any objective, even most of them were just completely still. The streets were a mess, as you could witness several car accidents, smashed stores and some unrecognizable bodies lying on the pavement or in the garden of the houses.

In the midst of all that silent Hell, the sound of an engine slowly began to break the harmony that death seemed to be enjoying.

Those "things" began to react slowly as the noise became more pronounced, and the sound became louder and clearer and let you understand that it was a motorcycle.

Takashi's hand gripped the throttle tightly, passing through all the zombies on the block before they could even react properly. The few that could be a threat were instantly decapitated by a Saeko who was very calm despite doing such a disgusting job.

"¡It's the brown house over there!" Takashi warned her, to which Saeko looked at the target.

The woman sliced off a couple more heads before hugging Takashi tightly, causing the young man to accelerate to no end.

The remaining few meters were traversed without much trouble. Once they reached the target, Takashi leaned his body to the side to do a big skid with the eagerness to stop in the garage of the house.

"¡Let's go!" The brown-haired man exclaimed, and Saeko followed him right away, without first killing a couple of zombies nearby.

The last to enter the house was Saeko, who immediately secured the door thanks to a nearby piece of furniture.

Takashi and Saeko watched the door in silence, seeing how the knocking was not long in coming. Anyway, the door seemed to be too sturdy to give in to such weak blows.

"That will be enough. We should secure the windows and check that none of them are inside." Takashi stated, receiving a nod from his future lover.

_ CHAPTER 13: ¡CHANGE OF PLANS! _

Takashi took a note that was on the table and read it carefully. Once he finished, his gaze lifted again to look at the completely closed windows, so the only way to have light was through the electricity that was still running.

"I already closed the window in the last room." Saeko walked into the dining room. "¿What's that?" The woman's face became somewhat curious after noticing the paper Takashi was holding.

"It's a note from his parents, they say they're waiting for him at the airport." Takashi handed her the letter, to which Saeko read it carefully.

"How strange that they didn't wait for him..." Saeko commented, who turned her gaze to Takashi.

"From what I understood, their mother was pregnant. It sure cost them a lot to make this decision, but I think it was the wisest one." Takashi stated as he took out some food that Hirano's parents had left behind, such as some chocolates and other small snacks.

"You re right, getting to the airport as soon as possible was the easiest way to save yourself." Saeko nodded at her own deductions as she walked over to the television to turn it on. "¿I wonder how things are there after all these hours?" Saeko turned on the TV and went between various channels, though most of them were just broadcasting static.

"I don't think you'll find anything interesting." Commented Takashi, who sat down for a bite to eat.

"The national channels are dead, but maybe we'll find something locally..." Saeko reached out her hand to catch the chocolate bar Takashi tossed her.

After passing through several channels, at last the sound of static stopped and the image of a bridge filled with people and soldiers came into view.

Saeko stood up and left the half-eaten chocolate between her lips as she watched the scene intently, and Takashi reacted in a similar manner.

"¡The only bridge to the airport has been blocked in an effort to contain the infection!" Exclaimed the voice of a woman who was on top of a helicopter, so the images were more than clear thanks to such height.

"¿They blocked the bridge?" Takashi stood up, what little calm he had managed to find at that moment was gone.

"It's the only way to get to Saya's house, ¿isn't it?" Saeko wondered with a worried expression on her face.

"They could make a detour through the roads, but getting outside such a large city in one day with the current amount of unrest is impossible." Replied Takashi, who looked quite serious about it.

"¡Oh my goodness, the navy has fired another warning shot again!" Shouted the woman in the helicopter, something that interrupted the two's chatter.

"¿Do you think the same as me?" Takashi asked with a conflicted look.

"I know, I don't think they'll manage to hold off the crowd for much longer either. Something very bad will happen for sure." Saeko replied seriously.

Suddenly, Saeko's face changed to a surprised one when her cell phone started ringing.

"¿¡The signal's back!?" Asked an alarmed Takashi who was quick to pull out his cell phone.

"¿Hello, Dad?" Saeko answered the call, and a big sigh of relief was heard from the other end.

"¡You don't know how glad I am to hear your voice, Sao-chan!" It was amazing to hear how one of the strongest men in the world was doing his best to hold back his crying.

"Don't worry, Dad. I'm fine, luckily me and my friends made it out of the Academy, although we had to split up at one point..." Saeko continued the talk with her father, while Takashi looked at the large amount of messages he had from his parents.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I'll find a way to survive and get out of here." The young man answered his parents for relief, then dialed Hirano's number.

"No, I'm not alone. Takashi is with me." Saeko clarified, who fixed her gaze on her secret crush after mentioning him.

"Oh, that young man...when this is all over, I'll definitely thank him properly." Ryoma stated, his tone of voice sounding rather relieved. "¿Can I talk to him a bit now?" He asked with a much more revitalized tone.

"Hum, wait a second. He's talking now." Saeko commented, watching as Takashi paced back and forth while waiting for Hirano to answer his call.

"Hi, sorry, I was talking to my parents." Takashi's anxiety disappeared when his best friend answered. "¿Are you guys okay?"

"Don't worry about us. Listen well, because we sure don't have much time." Takashi clarified instantly, receiving a positive gesture from the other side. "The bridge to where you're planning to head is blocked."

"¡Shit! ¿what are we going to do?" Hirano sounded quite angry and helpless.

"I still think going to Saya's house is the best option, as it has unparalleled security. I'm sure everyone feels the same way. In that case, it would be best to find some middle ground where we can rest, then continue the detour down the road." Takashi shared his thoughts, earning a heavy, annoyed breath from Hirano.

"It's not a bad plan, but the problem is we don't know any good places to stay." The call was choppy at times after Hirano's words, and just when Takashi thought he had run out of signal, a certain nurse's voice came from the other end.

"I know a friend's apartment that is located not far from the city limits. It has enough room for everyone, and it also has a fairly large and warm shower." Shizuka's comment made a big smile appear on Takashi's face.

"¿¡Your friend wouldn't mind if we stayed for a day!?" He asked energetically.

"Don't worry about it, she doesn't live there. It's actually a meeting point we use among friends to get together and have fun, so I have a key too." Those words made Takashi clench his fist tightly.

"¡Great, tell Hirano to give me the address by text now!" He exclaimed excitedly, but quickly that excitement changed to a much calmer smile.

"Hey, be careful."

Those words were heard by everyone in the van, so they couldn't help but smile.

Saya was quick to steal Shizuka's cell phone to get the last word.

"Same here, you idiot."

Takashi cut the call short, the smile on his face not long after the last words conveyed by his oldest friend.

"My father wants to talk to you." Saeko held out the cell phone, to which Takashi took it somewhat hesitantly, as the request took him by surprise.

"Hello, Mr. Ryoma, ¿how are you feeling?" Asked a somewhat unsure Takashi.

"¿How am I feeling? ¿Don't you think I should be asking you that question?" The man asked graciously.

Amazingly, Ryoma didn't lose his sense of humor even in a situation like this.

"Eeeh...yeah, you're right..." Takashi commented with a nervous smile under Saeko's watchful gaze.

"Apparently, this whole attack is only happening in Japan. The best thing they could do is to try to leave the country, however I know it's impossible right now because of all the commotion caused..." Clarified the man from the other side, causing Takashi to become serious.

"¿What do you propose we do?" The brown man asked.

"Just stay alive. What's happening in Japan is generating madness around the world, so they're hardly going to be cleared for the next few flights for several months. We're talking about a deadly pandemic or something..." Ryoma's tone of voice came out somewhat dismissive at the end. "The reality is that the details right now don't interest me much. Just make sure you take care of your health." The man concluded calmly.

"Hum, thank you very much... but... I find it strange that you care so much about me, being that we've never met in person before..." Takashi commented, who was rubbing his hair.

"You changed my daughter's lonely life forever." Ryoma's words made Takashi stop his action. "That reason is more than enough to worry about you." Takashi lowered his head slightly, his smile not long in appearing.

"Sir, I don't know what to say..."

"¿Don't you think it's funny?" Ryoma interrupted Takashi. "Just when I was going to take my Sao-chan, all this happens. It's like it was fate's work, ¿don't you think?" The man's words made Takashi stutter.

"Hum, I don't understand what you're getting at..." Commented a Takashi who looked rather confused.

"¿Do you want my daughter?" The man's sudden question startled Takashi.

But the surprise was only momentary.

"Of course, Saeko is very important to me." Takashi didn't hesitate to answer, the seriousness shown behind his words made the aforementioned blush, though he didn't notice it.

"Great, then I would like to ask you for a favor. Not as a man, but as a father..." Ryoma's voice sounded much deeper than Takashi and even Saeko herself could have imagined.

"I hear you." Again, Takashi had shown no hesitation.

"Please take care of my daughter."

Takashi watched Saeko after hearing those words. The smile on his face began to appear as he looked at her, as if the woman in front of him was like a glowing, beautiful Angel that filled his heart, his life.

Indeed, she did.

She was like an Angel...

She was like a Goddess...

His Goddess.

"Don't worry, I won't let them hurt her."

Ryoma smiled after hearing it, and without another word cut the call.

Takashi didn't know it yet, but as of that moment Saeko's father had handed him his permission to make his daughter the happiest woman in the world.

"¿What now?" Asked Saeko, who received the cell phone from Takashi's hands.

"Let's eat a little while we look for what Hirano asked me for. While we're at it let's look for new clothes, these stink of rotten blood." Replied the young man, not noticing how Saeko remained static looking at the cell phone.

She had actually been somewhat anxious to know what he and her father talked about.

Takashi opened Hirano's closet and began rummaging through his belongings.

"Black colored briefcase, black colored briefcase..." The brown-haired man repeated himself numerous times as he sent different items of clothing flying.

Saeko stopped at the entrance with some clothes in her hands, waiting for Takashi to finish his work.

The brown-haired man stopped out of nowhere, his eyes reflected a small visible part of the briefcase buried underneath all the perfectly ordered pants.

Takashi removed the last of the clothes and finally pulled out the black briefcase.

"You said it was going to be big, but I didn't expect it to be that big. It's even quite heavy..." Commented Takashi, who found it difficult to maneuver with something so large.

"It has a password." Saeko crouched down beside him and looked at the 3-digit padlock closely.

Takashi didn't say anything, just entered some seemingly random numbers.

"508"

The lock opened, something that shocked Saeko.

"¿How did you know?" She was quick to ask.

"508 millimeters is Hirano's preferred barrel diameter. It was the first thing that came to my mind because he repeated it to me about five times a day." Takashi bowed his shoulders to play it down, then removed the last latches on the briefcase and opened it.

Both Takashi and Saeko were in for a shocking surprise when they saw the contents.

Takashi slowly pulled out the object, revealing that it was an AUG assault rifle, and not only that, as it had a large number of cartridges, a silencer to place it at ease and special soundproof headphones that matched the grayish color of the weapon.

The next reaction was to look at each other, and that silence was finally broken by Takashi, who could barely find the words to say the following:

"Holy shit."

_ LINE BREAK _

Hirano's house

A few minutes later...

Takashi was lying on the bed pointing the gun sight while waiting for Saeko to finish changing. In the end, the brown-haired man could only take one more glance at the weapon, then shook his head as a sigh of genuine surprise energized his lips.

"¿Who would have thought you'd buy such a monster with the money from the Autumn Event?" Takashi rethought as he put the gun back into his briefcase.

"Hum, Takashi..." Saeko peeked through the door, and the brown immediately noticed that something odd was going on.

Not only was it due to his future lover's nervousness, but it was also due to the fact that the new clothes she was wearing looked... uncomfortable, not to mention that the shirt was about to explode because of her large breasts.

"¿What-what's wrong?" Takashi couldn't help stuttering, his flushed face giving him away.

"I need a little help with my pants..." Saeko lowered her gaze and a faint blush painted her cheeks after what was mentioned.

"¡Of cor-! Wait... ¿What?" Suddenly Takashi's head was about to stop working.

But Saeko showed no mercy.

"I mean this." Saeko showed her full body, revealing that the wintry and rather baggy pants seemed to be unable to cover her butt.

"Shit, that's... it looks complicated." Takashi felt his words become dizzy, as the image in front of him didn't allow him to think clearly.

He had overcome a lot in his life, but he would never get used to seeing Saeko in her underwear.

She was simply too hot to avoid getting flustered, and all indications were that she didn't even realize that.

"It is, this was the biggest thing I got from his mother. We definitely have very different sizes." Saeko commented, who leaned against the closet. "¿Can you pull yourself up from behind? I'll try to hold on." Saeko tilted her hips back a little, and didn't notice how Takashi had to cover his nose to avoid a nosebleed.

Seeing her tight ass tilted back with those beautiful purple panties was too much.

"¡Okay, let's do it!" Takashi slapped his cheeks to get rid of all those impure thoughts. "¡Come on, she's your best friend! ¡You can't see her like that!" He mentally scolded himself.

"¿Can you do it already? It's a bit embarrassing..." Saeko commented with a shy smile on her face, something that only made Takashi more nervous.

"I-I'm sorry." The brown-haired man reached over and held up the pants.

The scuffling was not long in coming, and Takashi was blushing more and more as he felt his hands constantly slapping Saeko's voluptuous ass.

"¡Just a little more...!" Saeko closed her eyes and bent her body a little, making the pants go all the way in.

Big mistake.

The pants opened up in the area of her butt, and Takashi's face was at the perfect height and closeness to witness it first hand.

Saeko was quick to turn around and covered her rear end with both hands. The abrupt movement caused the polo shirt to rip as well, so her violet floral bra was exposed as well as her large and beautiful cleavage.

Takashi fell backwards in a rather funny way as her breasts bounced free. Saeko was quick to cover her cleavage with one of her hands, the blush on her face had become visibly pronounced.

"I-I think-I think I'd better wear my clothes." Declared the woman, who looked quite embarrassed, something very rare for her.

"I'm of the same opinion, maybe we'll find more clothes in the apartment." Clarified Takashi instantly, who by now realized he was looking too much, so he turned his face away.

Saeko walked away without another word, leaving Takashi in complete silence.

The young man slowly seemed to react, and his gaze slowly drifted to the door where Saeko had exited.

"It doesn't matter that she's my best friend. It's impossible to deny that she's the most wonderful and hot woman I know..." Takashi thought with a serious face that made him look stupid.

Minutes passed where Takashi was able to change his clothes without much trouble, as Hirano's father's measurements were similar to his own. The young man put on a new leather jacket he had found in the house, then sat down and watched TV in case something interesting happened.

Soon after Saeko appeared, who was now also wearing a men's fleece coat, as it was the only thing that fit in the house.

"¿Do you think it will get colder?" Saeko asked, who sat down next to him.

"Probably. It's barely noon and the temperature is very low." Takashi replied, at no time taking his eyes off the news.

Thanks to that is he couldn't notice how Saeko stared at him. She seemed to have the intentions to tell him something, what gave her away were her beautiful light blue eyes that shone brightly, added to the very faint blush on her cheeks.

"I think we should start moving already." Takashi turned off the TV, and only at that moment did he notice the look Saeko was giving him. "¿Is something wrong?" Takashi inquired with a frown of confusion.

Saeko responded in her own way as she grabbed him by his jacket with a bit of force. Takashi simply looked at her in confusion, so his more normal reaction was to be quite surprised when she hugged him tightly.

"¿Will she be embarrassed about everything that happened a few minutes ago? ¿How do I tell her that it's not her fault that she has such a well-developed body without it sounding strange?" That was the first thing that came to Takashi's mind in such a situation, unaware of the unruly feelings that were igniting Saeko's whole body.

"I know we already talked about it at the Academy, but..." His future lover's voice soothed his absurd thoughts. "I'm so happy to be able to be with you. You don't know how bad I felt at that moment, so... just... don't do it again." Saeko turned her face away a little so she could look at him face to face.

"Oh, ¿was that it?, ¡I mean...!" Takashi had to break away from her to fake a cough. "Actually, I don't think I can promise you anything." He concluded with a soft smile, something that seemed to surprise Saeko. "I just can't leave anyone behind. And if we're talking about you..." Takashi placed a hand on her cheek, and a huge smile tugged at his lips.

"I wouldn't mind risking my life a thousand times over just to save you."

Saeko lowered her head slightly and her lips pursed. She seemed to be somewhat annoyed, though the increasingly visible blush on her face seemed to indicate otherwise.

"¿What good would that do?" Takashi was surprised at the woman's sudden question. "Because even if you manage to save me at the cost of your life, then it's as if you haven't saved anything." Saeko clarified, something that only confused her platonic love even more.

"I don't understand..." Takashi shook his head for emphasis on her words.

"I'm just saying..." Saeko was silent for a second, thinking about her words more carefully.

In the end, she grabbed him by the jacket again, but this time she didn't hug him. They both stood looking at each other with their faces a short distance apart.

"If you're gone, I won't be able to bear it."

"Saeko..." Takashi couldn't say anything else but her name, those words had really struck deep into his heart.

He knew he was important to her friend, but he didn't imagine she appreciated him so much.

"I don't want to go through that ever again. I don't ever want to think that you've..." At last, a sympathetic smile appeared on his face as he watched small tears begin to form on Saeko's face.

"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Takashi hugged her, and Saeko responded his embrace immediately.

Silence reigned between the two, and the remaining worries that haunted Saeko slowly left to the point where a smile came across her face.

But even if she was calm, she did not leave his arms at any time.

She wanted to feel that warmth...

She wanted to feel that affection...

She just wanted to be close to him.

Much closer...

Her lips pursed against her will and the embrace tightened even more.

The cravings to kiss him were growing out of control.

She didn't know how much more she could take.

"In the night..." Saeko said to herself in her mind as the harmonious smile returned to her face.

"¿Are you feeling better already?" The brown-haired man asked, earning a slight nod in response. "In that case, I think we should get moving already." Saeko hugged him tighter after hearing that.

"Just one more minute."

_ END OF CHAPTER! _

I hope you enjoyed it!

I was planning to formalize Takashi and Saeko's relationship, but the events of this chapter took longer than I thought so I preferred to leave it for the next chapter.

I'll be seeing you in 3 days for the continuation.

See you next time!
