"I can't do this!" Ryan growled as he slammed the bars he was holding as he trying to walk using her injured leg. "This is hopeless!"
"Ryan its going to take time but you have to try no matter how painfull it is" His physical herapit Drew encouraged. It has been a week since his injury.
"I'm sorry Drew."
"Its okay man. Look go home and rest okay. See you tomorrow".
Ryan nodded and grabbed his crutches. He made his way to the entrance and was met by Dana who was finishing her shift. "Hey D"
"Hey you. How do feel about going for lunch?" Dana asked as she helped him into her car. Dana drove to their famous bagel cafe and took a seat outside. "Ryan there is something i have to tell you"
"Okay"
"Ryan i got a job offer in Reefside and i accepted." She told her brither with a smile.
"Wow Dana that's great."He replied as he leaned back into his chair. His mind went o Jay as he remembered the look on her face when he snapped at her. "Dana have you spoken to her? Jay i mean"
"I have, she has become a ranger Ryan and a good one i hear. Why don't you try and reach out to her. Come with me to see the new house" Dana asked of him as she watched his reaction.
"I can't. Dana did you see the look on her face that day. I betrayed her." Ryan confessed.
Dana sighed and stay silent as the waitress brough theirfood.
Back in Reefside Jay was fuming. She was trying to help her brother get her room ready but he was annoying her.
"Tommy will you move your in my way" She complained as he was paiting her wall but she was trying to unpack.
"Sorry but i thought you said you were going to hanf with Kira."
"I was but she is at the dentist, Ethan is working and Conner has practice so i am stuck here". She grumbled. "Hey did you ever find that other gem you were tracking when Mesogog took you?"
Tommy glanced her way. "No"
"If you want Hunter and I are metting later he and I can scan around."
Tommy looked at his sister. "You and Hunter close?"
Jay laided her clothes down. "During our battles we were great, He took over the thunder academy and we sort of drifted aprt a little. Tommy there is something i have been meaning to ask you"
Tommy stopped what he was doing and faced her. "Anything"
Jay sat on her bed. "Tommy when you were taken your anumal spirit came to me. I saw mine. Tommy how did i become a ninjetti like you?"
Tommy sat on the bed next to her. "Jay that was a day that you gave us the run for our money. You and Adam were out testing out your new bike mom gave you. You and Adam got attacked and you ran to hide. Jay you climbed into a cave, we spent all day looking for you."
"I remember that". Jay whispered.
"Well i was a mess because i thought Zedd had you. I went back to the command center where i found ninjor there. I focused on you and my falcon roared out of my chest and led us to you. I remember you were shivering from the cold. Ninjor found yours inside of you. But you were so young. Jay my falcon will always find you when i need you. When you need me your Eagle will find you." Tommy told his sister.
"Thanks for telling me"
Tommy stood upas Sage growled upon entering. "Now that is still weird"
Jay laughed. "Well she was Cetra's guardian now she is mine".
"Jay you home!?" Kira's voice rang out.
"Yeah in here Kira" Jay yelled back.
Kira joined them. "Sorry Dr.O but did any paint get on the wall?" Kira giggled out noticing his black shirt was grey. "Oh Jay i saw Dana today."
"Oh, come on lets go meet the guys" Jay suggested. "Tommy be back later"
"Okay be careful"
Jay and Kira were walking up to the soccer field when they noticed Zeltrax and Elsa. "Crap, come on lets go" Jay spoke as her and Kira ran. "Zeltax never pegged you for the sports type".
The girls flipped out of the way as he blasted them.
"Missed me" Kira stated.
"You maggots are in for a surprise". Elsa told them pointing her sword.
What Jay saw caused her body to shake in fear. It was the stone that contained Cetra's spirit. "Zeltrax if you wish" Elsa spoke handing him thr stone. Without hesitation Zeltrax shatted the stone.
Kira watched in horror as the spirit screamed and cirled Jay in a cloud. "Jay!" Kira tried to get to her but Zreltrax slammed her to the ground.
Once the screaming stopped Jay was on her knees. "Who dare awaken me?" Her voice deep.
Zeltrax laughed as the spirit was altered. "Cetra arise".
"I arise dor no one"
Kira groaned as she tried to get up."Jay?"
Jay/Cetra stood over her grabbing her by the neck. "Sorry she is not available right now".
Kira swallowed as the two black eyes stared back at her. She gasped as lasers from Conner's blasters pushed them back.
"Kira!" Conner yelled.
"Cetra we must go" Elsa urged. "Mesogog will be eager to meet you". The three grinned and went through a portal.
"Kira!" Conner demorphed and rushed to her side. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, thanks".
"Kira what was that?"
"I don't know, Zeltrax broke this rock and a spirit invaded Jay. They called her Cetra". Kira explained as they rushed to Conner's mustang.
Back in the dino lab Tommy was in the kirchen when Kira and Conner burst through the door. "Conner there is a doorknob" Tommy spoke to him. "Hey what's wrong?"
"Dr.O something happened to Jay? Kira rushed out.
Tommy had to grab his books as a rush of wind blew in. "Hunter i told you to stop that."
"Tommy, its happened. Cetra is freed". Hunter's voice full of panic.
"But Hunter you told us the spirit found peace. Crap Mesosog." Tommy paled.
They all joined Hunter in the dino lab so he could tell them what him and Jay went through.
"Back in Blue Bay we did get Cetra to find peace which is how Jay got her gem. We sealed the temple but earlier this morning Blake and I saw the goons blow the temple door open. By the time we got inside the stone was gone". Hunter explained.
"But how did they find it in the first place?" Conner asked as Ethan sat next to him.
"My guess" Tommy spoke. "Is they used her gem when they took me and the gem. Hunter how evil is she?"
"Tommy if her spirit is inside Jay then Jay has no control over anything. She's relentless." Hunter answered. "This will not be easy"
"You should have left her alone!" Tommy barked. "You should have stayed away from her when you met her."
"Hunter" Kira's voice soft. "What can we do?"
Hunter fell into the chair and out his head in his hands. "I honestly don't know."
"Hunter please how did you free her in the first place?" Conner asked the distraught ninja.
"Conner when we dealt with her she never used a vessel, Lothor turned her spirit evil so we destroyed her, this time she is using Jay. She went right for Jay because she knows her." Hunter answered. "Look i will go back home and see if we can find anything. Look Cetra will use anything against you go get you destroyed so keep on your guard". Hunter glanced at Tommy who was roaring in anger before he streaked away.
"Dr.O?" Ethan spoke as he noticed his teacher was slumped in a chair,
"This is why we kept her out of all of this. This is why we hid out identities. Now she's evil and we have no idea on how fix this", Tommy spoke aloud.
"We will do what we have to do to get her back" Kira assured him. "Maybe Dana or other rangers can help?"
"Kira you said Dana is in Reefside right?" Tommy asked her as he stood up. "Come ith me, Conner you and Ethan stay here and monitor in case she shows up. Kira and I will go talk to Daba"
In Mesogog's Lab Jay/Cetra walked around the fortress. "So i hear you wanted to meet me".
"Yes" Mesogog hissed. "I want your help in destroying the rangers so we can reclaim this planet"
"I work for no one" Jay/Cetra growled. "But it would be fun to watch those rangers be destroyed. I could bring this planet back to the ice age"
"Then we have a deal?" Mesogog offered his hand.
"Deal".
Zeltrax and Elsa smiled.
Back in Reefside Dana wakjed unto the Cyberspace along with her brother. Hayley looked up and gave them a wave. "Hey you two"
"Hey Hayley" Ryan greeted. "Nice place"
"Thanks, what brings you here?"
"I got a job here at the hospital and Carter is going to transfer" Dana answered as Hayley handed her a smoothie. "Man this is amazing!"
"Ryan can i get you anything?" The red head asked him.
"No thanks" He answered.
They turned as the door opened to reveal Tommy and Kira. The two rushed to the counter.
"Hey guys" Tommy greeted the two lightspeed rangers with a hug. "Can we talk?"
"Sure". Hayley agreed locking the door as her last customer left. "Tommy you look worrried"
"Something happened to Jay" Kira told them as they sat on the couch. "We were going to meet Conner when Zeltrax attacked us. Jay is possessed by a spirit named Cetra"
"Its the same spirit she dealt with in Blue Bay over the summer." Tommy added. "Look i know you and Jay are distant after what happened a week ago but please we need your help"
"Off course" Dana agreed without hesitation.
"You know i will" Ryan also agreed. "Tommy did she tell you what happened?"
Tommy nodded. "She did. Ryan i know you didn't mean harm in what you said and Jay understands. She is just going through a lot right now. Trust me when we get her back you guys will be okay"
"Thank you for helping us" Kira said with a smile.
"Look we will head back to the lab and see if Hunter found anything. Come by tomorrow"
Tommy and Kira left to go back to the lab.
"Dr.O i thought you closed the front door?" Kira asked as she got out.
"I did" He replied. The two walked carefully inside. "Hello?!"
"Looking for someone?" Jay/Cetra giggled out.
Tommy swallowed hard as he looked at the two black eyes starting back at him. The eyes that used to be golden brown.
