"Madame Grape, get up. It's a new morning, and you know what that means!"

Grape slowly opened her eyes. She looked to her right, seeing Robbie by her bed. She yawned and sat up.

"Good morning, Robbie. I wish you weren't such an early bird."

"You slept in. Today's the day we go on our first mission with you as our leader, remember?"

She looked at the clock as Sheldon entered. He fixed his glasses as he came to her side as well.

"Good morning, Madame Grape. Your schedule is behind by approximately three hours and five minutes." He hesitated. "Six minutes."

"What time is it?" She asked.

She got out of bed and went to her vanity. Her hair was a mess, and her eyelashes were crooked. She sat down.

"It's almost noon, Madame Grape. I understand the need for a good rest before a mission, but it's unlike you to sleep in so late."

"I didn't realize it was so late."

She started fixing her hair as Robbie watched. She heard him mumble "Imagine if I had hair" as she watched him in the mirror. He noticed she was staring at him, so he looked away. There was a knock on the door.

"Sheldon, go get that please."

He opened the door and Rex entered. "My dear! Finally awake, are we?"

"Have you been waiting for me to wake up? If you came in sooner, I wouldn't have slept in so late!"

"I apologize, my dear! I just didn't have it in my heart to wake you. Anyway, I came in here to give you this. Hold out your hand please."

She held it out, and he dropped a large, diamond-shaped brooch into her hand. She rubbed it with her thumb.

"I saw it and thought you would like it. It's your favorite color, and you like diamonds, right? It's not a diamond of course, but rather a purple fluorite, but it truly is beautiful!"

"I love it, thank you." She put t on the front of her cravat. "And look at that! It goes so well with the rest of my outfit as well! You know how to pick the best things for me."

"Well, now you get to pick the best things, since you're leader now."

"Yes, I suppose so."

She faced back to the mirror to fix her eyelashes, but her reflection was wrong. Her eyelashes were longer and she had more of, and her mask was more pointed. Her eyes were black, but her iris were still green. Her core was flickering in and out of visibility.

She sat up, holding her chest. She looked around. She was back in her prison cell, and it was late at night.

"Oh, it was just a dream."

She slowed her breathing to make her chest stop pounding. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed.

"Everything alright here?"

She jolted, whipping her head towards the door. There was a shadow, slightly illuminated by the green barrier that was in place to block the exit and Grape's magic. From what she could see, it looked like a female.

"Do you need some help? I can get you out of here."

Grape put her hat on and went to the door. "Who are you, and why did you wake me at this time?"

"I didn't wake you up, I was just walking past when you did. Sounds like you had a pretty bad dream. You okay?"

"Don't patronize me, I can tell you are. And you ignored my first question. Who are you?"

"Me? Everyone knows me as Siren."

"Siren? Why that?"

"I can show you. What's your name? You're awfully pretty for a villainess, don't you think?"

"My name is Grape, and that compliment means nothing to me. If you're here to set me free, just do it already."

Siren scanned the key card into the small terminal next to the door. It flickered away and Grape felt a surge of power hit her like a train.

"Oh! Oh, that feels so nice. I'm back to my usual self." She flicked the bottom of her hair with her hands. "Aah, what a relief." She laughed. "Thank you dearly for helping me out! So, about escape...There are an awful lot of guards, and we can't risk getting caught. I could probably deal with them on my own, but I don't want to waste my only chance at freedom."

"I've got this. Plus, you did want to see why I was called Siren, didn't you?"

"I mean, I did question but I thought you were just going to tell me rather than show me..."

"Actions speak louder than words."

"Oh, you got me there...Let's just get out of here, shall we? I need to get back to my life."

Siren started down the hall, then took a right instead of continuing straight after the door. She opened another door and entered. Grape followed. It was the main office, where one security guard was sitting asleep in a chair. Siren quietly grabbed the sides of his head and forcefully turned it. Grape flinched at the rather loud snap that pursued.

"Was that...Is he alright?"

"Nope. Snapped his neck. He won't be coming for us any time soon." She sat in the guard's seat. "Come on over! I haven't been able to hang out with another villainess in forever!"

Grape came closer to the seat. "So, what's the plan? Any ideas on how to get out of here?"

She pulled a small microphone closer to her. "You might want to cover your...Actually, never mind."

"Eyes...?" Grape asked, but Siren ignored her.

Siren started humming into the microphone, which she then turned to an actual tune. There were no words, only the tone of the music she was singing. She pointed towards the camera, which Grape took as she wanted her to look. Grape looked at the security footage. The guards seemed a little dazed when she looked, and then they started bobbing their heads to Siren's singing. Siren finished and chuckled softly.

"Works every time." She rose from the seat. "Alright officers! The two closest to the door can open it. The two furthest can set the rest of the people in here free." She put the microphone down. "And you and I can have a little 'talk.'"

She shoved Grape back into the wall, and held her there by the collar. She leaned in close.

"What are you? I know you aren't from this world. Are you from the same world as my dearest Shi?"

"Who's Shi? And I don't need to tell you anything. Get away from me."

She grabbed the underside of Grape's mask with her finger and forcefully pulled Grape closer. "Are you lying, or do you really not know Shi? And I'll only leave you alone when you tell me what I want to know. What's your Quirk, and how could it help me? I heard its name before, Darkle, and I want to know how it can help us become the best villainess team Japan has ever seen."

"I have no idea who this Shi person is, and I will do no such thing! I work alone."

She went back to the microphone, still holding Grape's mask. "Actually, just leave the front door open. You can forget about the other villains."

"Open that door," Grape ordered as the officers closed that door just as the Sour Bunch was on their way out.

"Not until you answer honestly, Grape. I don't take kindly to liars."

"I told you, I don't work with anyone."

"That's a lie. What about those purple men right there? Don't they work for you?"

"They're an exception, of course. They're my family."

"That's a lie too."

"It's not a lie. They raised me. They're family."

"But I can tell just by looking at you that you aren't related. Unless one of your parents married into the family, you're not family." She grabbed Grape's brooch and pulled her down to her eye level. "Tell me about your power."

"Darkle...Why would I tell you about that? I'm not an idiot. I know you'll just use me, like everyone else used me. If anyone should know about my power, it's me, because I know I won't abuse it."

She saw Grape glance down for a second, then decided to take advantage of it.

She brushed Grape's hair. "You can trust me, Grapey. I promise I won't be like those people. Even though I'm a villainess doesn't mean I don't know how to treat other women. Especially pretty ones like you."

Grape moved her head away from her hand. "Don't touch my hair." She looked on the verge of crying.

"Do you not want me to mess it up? Because I can stop if that's the reason. But I wonder how you weren't affected by my Quirk..." She grabbed Grape's mask again.

"Don't touch me, don't touch m-me..." She tried to move her head away.

"Oh, what's wrong? You shy? I can change that." She pulled Grape's face closer.

Grape grabbed Siren's wrist. "Stop it. Let go of me." Tears rolled down her mask.

"Why are you crying, hm? Afraid some big, scary man will come and 'save' you? Sweep you off your...feet?" She touched Grape's hair again, the witch flinching away this time.

"I said stop touching me. G-get away from me, you c-creep..."

"Oh, I just take your breath away, huh?" She brushed her free hand up Grape's body until she reached her mask. She rubbed the edge of it with her thumb, wiping the tears from her face. "Does my beauty make you speechless? Does my beauty make you cry?"

"S-stop...touching me...Please..."

"Oh, but in a girl-loves-girl world, I don't need to listen to what you want."

"A...what?"

"Come on, you can tell me anything. What's wrong? You can trust me."

"I want you...to stop...I want...you to st-stop touching...touching me."

"But why? I'm not doing anything to you. Why don't you just let it all go away?"

Siren kissed her masked face.

Grape got a rush of adrenaline as she remembered what Darethend did to her. She grabbed Siren's arm and broke it, the villainess pulling herself off of Grape to scream in pain. Grape shoved her over, Siren landing on her broken arm. The villainess screamed again.

"I warned you, but y-you didn't listen!" She grabbed the microphone. "And now you're going to join me here, for eternity. You will suffer for what you've done." She held the microphone to her mask. "Guards! There's a villain in the main office! Capture her at once!"

"You dirty rat!" Siren pushed off her healthy arm and grabbed the gun from the dead officer. She pointed it at Grape. "Put the microphone down and you won't get hurt."

"You think that...whatever it is, would hurt me? You should reconsider your options here. Nothing can hurt me expect for Sp-"

Siren fired off the gun at Grape's body, the bullet cutting straight through. A small bit of her Darkle seeped through the wound. Officers burst through the door. Two tackled Siren, and one approached Grape with a taser.

"Stay calm, stay still. This won't hurt too much if you don't fight me." The officer was trying to calm her down, but she was still scared.

Shaking, she grabbed the gun Siren dropped when they charged her, and pointed it to the officer. "Stay back, I don't know how to use this, and you don't want to be near me when I do figure this contraption out."

"How do you not know how to use a gun?!" Siren snapped.

"A gun? I've never seen one like this before..."

The Officer put his taser down, seeing Grape was scared. "First, you need to clam down. So if you could please put the gun down, we can talk this through. Please put the weapon back down."

"You traitor!" Siren yelled, trying to fight the guards as they were preparing a cloth to wrap around her mouth to prevent her using her Quirk. "YOU TRAITOR! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?! YOU RATTED ME OUT! I THOUGHT WE WERE ON THE SAME TEAM!"

"Same team? same team?! You ignored me! I-I told you to stop and you didn't listen! And thanks to that, you cost yourself both of your arms...!" Her voice began to shake, as she aimed the gun towards Siren.

"Madame Grape," the guard said calmly. "We can handle her. Please put the weapon down, and we can take you back to your room."

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Siren screamed. "YOU'LL REGRET EVER BETRAYING ME!"

Grape fired off the gun, blood coming from Siren's other arm. She screamed again and the officers wrapped the cloth around her mouth to make her be quiet. Grape shakily faced the officer again.

"Madame Grape, I don't want to hurt you, especially since you've been cooperating well recently, so just please put the weapon down."

"St-stay away from me! Back up, now!"

To show her he wasn't there to hurt her, he took a step back and signaled towards the other guards to not approach her. Grape stopped shaking a bit, lowering the weapon the smallest amount. The officer's walkie talkie went off.

The Police chief was speaking through the other end. "I got the distress signal! I'm almost there, hang on just a second! Over!"

He reached for it to answer back, but Grape turned the gun to his hand, so he put it back next to his head. "Madame Grape, I'm just going to answer the chief, alright? I'm not going to do anything else. I promise."

She motioned the gun to the walkie talkie. "Make it quick. I don't want to be trapped here any longer."

He clicked the button on the side. "Officer Rodger here. Do not enter the main office. Madame Grape is weaponized and is currently scared. Any sudden movements and she'll probably fire. I'm currently working on calming her down first, over."

"What sort of weapon does she have, Officer? Over."

"A gun. Looks like she grabbed it from one of the officers. Siren was with her, and possibly helped her escape. We currently have Siren but can't leave until Madame Grape calms down. Over."

"Has she fired at anyone already? Over."

"She's shot Siren's arm, and has a bullet hole in her upper body. Besides that, it doesn't look like much gun violence was involved, over."

Grape had finally stopped shaking and her breathing was back to normal, and she lowered the gun. "What am I doing? I'm not like this. I fight fairly, not like this."

"Okay, now that you've gotten some time to breathe, can you please put the gun down?"

"Y-yes...Perhaps I'm just tired..." She slowly put it on the ground.

"Okay, she put the gun down. It's safe to enter now, over."

The Police Chief barged through the door. Without thinking, Grape picked the gun back up and shot at him. He fell backwards. One of the other guards shot at Grape, since she shot an officer, and she dropped the gun. She grabbed her hand.

She looked at the bullet wound. Mist was pouring from that as well, and the pain felt like the same pain she had on her other hand when she had cut it on the wall earlier. That pain had also been in her chest from when Siren shot her. A surge of pain went through her whole body, and she fainted.
